Trump to send 400 Texas National Guard troops to Illinois as anti-ICE protests continue to rage: Pritzker

President Trump is deploying 400 Texas National Guard troops to Illinois, Oregon, and other states as swarms of anti-ICE protesters continue to clash with federal agents, Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker said Sunday night.

The Democrat blasted Trump’s “invasion” hours after the president mobilized 300 California National Guard members to Portland, where unrest has raged for over 100 consecutive days outside an immigration detention center — a scene that has been playing out in Chicago since September.

Pritzker said the plan defies his wishes, adding that federal officials haven’t reached out to coordinate or discuss the deployment. 

“We must now start calling this what it is: Trump’s Invasion,” the governor said in a post on X, encouraging “every American to speak up and help stop this madness.”

“It started with federal agents, it will soon include deploying federalized members of the Illinois National Guard against our wishes, and it will not involve sending in another state’s military troops. I call on [Texas] Governor [Greg] Abbott to immediately withdraw any support for this decision and refuse to coordinate.” Read more here.

Ukraine pitches plan to help US sell American oil to Europe — icing out Russia and bringing in profits

Kyiv has pitched Washington on ways it could help the US replace Russia in oil sales to Europe — as President Trump pushes the continent to divest from Moscow’s energy sector to end its brutal war on Ukraine, The Post can exclusively reveal.

Pipelines deep beneath Ukraine’s surface could help funnel fuel either drilled in the country through the US-Ukraine mineral deal or shipped in from the US, Ukrainian Energy Minister Svitlana Grynchuk told The Post.

The potential partnership means American oil companies could replace Moscow in Europe’s energy sector.

“Ukraine’s gas and oil infrastructure has always been a key part of European energy security because Ukrainian territory was like a transit from Russia to Europe — and we have very, very good gas and oil infrastructure,” Grynchuk said.

“The US and other international partners could use this infrastructure for ensuring European energy security by supplying it and also the storage potential of gas and oil in Ukraine.”

Ukraine has the most liquid natural gas storage in all of Europe. Read more here.

In the wake of the October 7, 2023, terrorist attack in Israel, Western nations saw an explosion in anti-Israel, antisemitic encampments on colleges and universities.

The protest at Columbia, which lasted throughout the spring of 2024, often turned violent and destructive, with students vowing to "defend" their encampment from police. At California Polytechnic University, student rioters took over a building and barricaded it against police.

For many Americans, this surge in antisemitism and rioting was more proof that Western colleges and universities are nothing more than hotbeds of Leftist radicalism and laces of indoctrination that teach students to hate America and Western values.

However, the problem runs much deeper than woke campus ideology and Leftism. There is a well-funded, coordinated effort by radical Islamists to infiltrate and undermine Western democracies, using religion and "Islamophobia" as a cover for the ultimate goal: the destruction of Western civilization in favor of a global Islamic caliphate. Rep. Maxine Waters admits Dems forced government shutdown to get ‘health care for everybody’ — including illegal immigrants

Longtime Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) acknowledged that her party forced the government into a shutdown on Wednesday in order to secure “health care for everybody” — including illegal immigrants.

Waters, 87, was questioned outside the US Capitol Tuesday about Democrats’ opposition to a stopgap funding bill in both chambers of Congress that would have kept the government’s lights on until Nov. 21.

“Are Democrats demanding health care for illegal aliens?” asked LindellTV reporter Alison Steinburg.

“Democrats are demanding health care for everybody,” Waters responded, hours before her Senate colleagues blocked the spending measure.

“We want to save lives,” she added. “We want to make sure that health care is available to those who would die not having the help of their government.”
