Op-ed:
It’s time for some serious TEA
By: Diane Sori

Red Fridays are over for me as last Wednesday night my party…the Republican party…the party of our beloved Ronald Reagan…died.

The party died by its own hand…with the knife dug deep by the RINOS…as they knowingly and willingly went into the Democratic fire like lambs to the slaughter…led by a man with NO backbone at all…NO backbone when it was needed the most.

“We fought the good fight; we just didn’t win,” Speaker of the House John Boehner said in a recent radio interview but truth be told he was played for a fool by ‘Prince’ Harry Reid and his evil Queen Nancy Pelosi…two of the most vile politicians ever to grace the halls of Congress…two who must be toasting each other that they won it all for their wicked King…and ‘We the People’…the peasants…be damned.

And Boehner was easily manipulated by a Treasury Department that gambled on the fact that they could spook him and the Republicans…which they did..by spewing lie upon lie that we would run out of money to pay our obligations within a day of the notes coming due…which we know is simply NOT true as there is always five times the money on hand to pay the ONLY thing that must be paid by a certain date…and that is the interest on the notes due and NOTHING more.

It's so sad that Boehner and the Republicans were too busy shaking in their boots to clear the cob webs from their brains and see they were being checkmated by those who are masters at the game of deception and lies.

And while the Senate...as expected...voted overwhelmingly to approve the anything but compromise bill that would fund the government through January 15th and raise the debt ceiling through February 7th, the RINOS in the House sided with Democrats by voting 285 to 144 to approve it.

NO backbone…NO courage…NO guts to do the right thing…which by the way is to do ‘We the People’s bidding and ‘We the People’s bidding alone…as NO mere words are strong enough for these RINO traitors…party traitors who stabbed those who elected them in the back…party traitors who sold out our Conservative principals to LIES…to fear…to a president who hates the very country he manipulated and stole an election to win.

To say shame on them puts it mildly, and Boehner himself proved that he might as well put a ‘D’ after his name and be done with it as all his grandstanding and bloviations about standing strong and united against ObamaCare was NOTHING but a photo-op dog and pony show…for when we needed strength and unity…when we needed a strong Conservative leader the most...he could NOT rally the troops to do the right thing…and so he retreated in defeat and complete and total surrender to those who knew the outcome of the game before the first chess piece was even moved.

And to make matters worse, John Boehner in this capacity as Speaker of the House, told ALL Republicans NOT to fight or oppose the Senate bill…and that is the saddest thing of all for the man we looked to for strength sold the American people out too those who want nothing more than to inflict the most pain on as many people as possible…even on the most vulnerable of us all.

So now the time has arrived…it’s time for some serious TEA…one united and strong TEA Party…as in time for all TEA Party groups across our great land to come together under one united banner.

So while ‘Prince’ Harry thought we were a problem before…in fact he loves to call the TEA Party a bunch of terrorists…well watch us now for the TEA Party will NOT be scared away by this setback... in fact we will be more vocal than ever before…and that is something ‘Prince’ Harry can count on.

And that is something the RINO Republicans can count on as well.

    3. I was going to write those names down to remember on election day. Thank you for putting the list together for me. Maybe not for the same reason as you Diane, but oh yes, I will remember them.

  2. The way I see it is that John Boehner knew full well that there was enough money to pay the interest on the debt. After all he does work in D.C. and it's not a big secret. So I'm not buying that "we fought the good fight but we lost" crap! Boehner and his cohorts are working together with the Democrats and putting up a front to their constituents. (Shame on us for continuing to fall for their lies) The only politicians that have OUR interests at heart are the ones who vote to UPHOLD the U.S. Constitution without making excuses.

  3. Wow, it amazes me at how totally devoid f true facts, knowledge or intelligence you are. Ronald Reagan was the great compromiser. Time and again, because he was a civilized individuals, not like the mutts in Congress today who fall under the Tea Party umbrella. The Tea Party reminds me of two other groups - Jonestown, Guyana and Mt Carmel, Texas. I'm just waiting for your leaders to roll out the KoolAid or lay out guns and you all do the United States a favor and kill yourselves; then we can really party

    1. A libertard of the first degree spewing out the usual libertard bloviations...in fact some taken directly from the so-called Hollywood stars...what a joke you are. And BTW, you dish it out you better be ready to take it in return.

    2. What "usual libertard blovation" (by the way tea-tard has a much better ring to it)? That Reagan was a "gret compromiser"? If you disagree with this than I suggest you purchase a history book before you start having political discussions with adults.

  4. So the reason that the Tea Patsies lost this battle wasn't because they were stupid, it was because they weren't stupid enough? The new TP motto is "In order to save America, we must first destroy it."

  5. Your presentation was subpar at best. Remove the name calling amd I'd give it 4 stars for effort.

Party of Reagan? I'll take it.

"Maybe you should check your own view about who Democrats are. Let me give you a hint, they are also Americans and also wish that sense of accomplishment for others. This pointing fingers at Republicans <-> Democrats is getting old. I wish people would stop identifying their political party as superior, it's not. They both have significant flaws, and until we start thinking as individuals of one nation, not party members, the entire country will continue to spin downward."

Corporate loopholes and tax break dissolved, we all would be having this discussion.

  6. Ronald Reagan would be primaried out of office by a Tea Party candidate for being too liberal if he was running today. He wasn't against higher taxes on the wealthy. In fact, he wasn't against taxes per se at all. In fact, he raised them several times. He believed capital gains should be taxed the same ordinary income. He was a staunch supporter of keeping religion out of politics. Although he was originally against Medicare for the same reasons people today oppose the ACA, once he saw that all the Chicken Little predictions never happened and he eventually changed his mind and supported efforts to expand and strengthen it. Although I disagreed with many of his policies, he believed in good GOVERNANCE and understood that compromise was exactly what the founding fathers wanted our elected officials to do. Throwing a temper tantrum is not governance. It's what my 2-year old nephew does when he doesn't get his way. You do NOT have the right to shut the government down when a law you don't like gets passed. I'm just trying to imagine your reaction if the Democratic party had refused to pay the bills when Bush refused to extend the ban on semi-automatic weapons.

This is not 1776 and you are not oppressed. You are simply in the minority but you are lucky enough to live in a country that allows you to make fools of yourselves in public instead of throwing you in prison. Instead of spending time making up stuff to support paranoid and delusional theories, perhaps you so-called "patriots" should examine your history - real history, not the fake stuff Glenn Beck spouts - and figure out a way to convince people you're right. Otherwise, you'll just go down as an embarrassing footnote in America's political history.

Btw, this is posting as Anonymous only because I don't have the other profile options.

  8. Wow...just wow...you really believe this??? I am truly sad for you! This country has ALWAYS been great when the middle class was strong...The Republicans and Tea Party are doing everything in their power to kill the middle class of this nation, and make a poor class and a uber-rich class. Historically, you have to admit, this country has thrived (even huge corporations) when the middle class was thriving! Who do you think buys the goods that the corporations are selling??? This country has been in a downward spiral since republicans have had the house!!!

  9. What if I told you that Ted Cruz was being paid off to purposely lose the 2016 election as an insurance policy for Hillary Clinton to win? What if you could guarantee who won the Presidential elections to further your world business interests? Do you honestly believe that it was an accident that McCain picked one of the dumbest female politicians to run w/ him, who also had an illegitimately pregnant 16 year old daughter. Do you honestly believe that a Mormon w/ millions stashed in off-shore accounts & a checkered past of screwing over people & dogs was the best the GOP could offer last year? Do you honestly believe that Cruz has a legitimate chance of beating Hillary? These guys were all setup to lose. If you don't believe it; you're playing right into the hands of the true players. You're stuck in the present; whereas the game is being played to win 10 years down the road. Obamacare is a distraction to take people's focus off of the major plays that are going down. The problem that teapartiers don't realize is that the people behind Obama are also behind Ted Cruz & Rand Paul. Follow the money!!!.

  10. All I can say to the Republicans/Tea Party is: NO GUTS, NO GLORY!!

  11. The idioms that are professed here lead to men thinking, and women too. Maybe you will see that most Americans are serious enough to fight for this country, and having Obama heading toward treason. I think big business and corporations as well as the oil companies are a big problem for this country. We can not cater to the money caterers and Federal Reserve any longer, but we have to install men and women to represent all of America's citizens. That means that God, honor, and patriots will move us in our direction. The saving of our country is the most important thing than letting it go towards Communism. I don't believe that all Republicans or Tea Party members have their own interests in mind. Time will tell, but we know the way we are heading is definitely not the right way. I hope most Americans believe in God and look at what this country was built upon. Greed, lies, deceit and coverups need to be eliminated. God Bless America, again.
