where do you get your comment "republican tea party candidate" when he clearly states that he is a libertarian? Giving lip service to the people, any people who would suggest Stoning is really not acceptable. Allowing Crazies print time is just as bad. I don't get this article, the bible does claim that homosexuality is an abomination/sin and that no one can get around. But as for singing that stoning, ala Islam/Sharia Law, punishment is the answer, I think not.
ReplyDeleteLet us not forget that less than 2% of the population that is gay now gets to call the shots and demand the education of our children as to how to have "gay sex", and at ages that are totally inappropriate. That discussion would have served better.
Hi Kathi,
DeleteFirst off, it's about 10% of the population that's gay. Secondly, please cite how/where gays are allowed to "call the shots and demand" that children are educated in how to have gay sex. I've never seen that on any curriculum. Oh, and you say "our children" as if gays don't/can't have children. They can and do.
He ran as a Republican even while claiming he is a libertarian...you need to check your facts before criticizing. And NO school I know tells children how to have gay sex...they just teach about different family make-ups. And BTW...NO one can be turned gay by seeing or learning anything...you are born either gay or straight...period.
DeleteDiane,
DeleteI'm kinda blown away right now, and don't know what to say. I agree with you. The end must truly be near....
If you and I can agree on a topic, surely you must be able to see how pig-headedly ignorant some of your fellow TPers are on some issues?
Respectfully,
Your Liberal Troll
To my liberal troll,
DeleteWhile I am 100% to the right on issues of national security, the economy, our military and vets,on immigration as in ILLEGALS NO...LEGALS YES, on Israel, that climate change is pure unadulterated garbage (it's naturally occurring weather cycles and NOTHING more), on the rule of law being our Constitution, and the dangers islam and Obama pose to our country, etc., but as you can tell I am moderate on the social issues and I have NEVER hidden that fact.
I am NOT homophobic and I believe people are either born gay or born straight and NO amount of 'so-called' prayers can turn someone gay into someone straight. And heaven forbid but I have gay friends much to the chagrin of some on the right.
And while I believe in God I am NOT one of those right wing religious fanatics...a Bible thumper if you will...as this is 2014 NOT the year one.
I believe in and support stem cell research...I believe the Earth is 4.5 billion years old and I believe in evolution. I also believe in the morning after pill as it prevents conception which is the total opposite of abortion, and I believe that abortion must be allowed in cases of rape, incest, or when the life of the mother is at stake but that abortion must NOT be used as birth control, and I am dead set against late term abortion.
I am a TEApublican who supports the original premise of the TEA party as in Taxed Enough Already and I believe religion must stay out of politics as our Founders intended. A belief in God is one thing...NO one is denying anyone that....but forcing ones religion on others is quite another...in fact that's the reason many came to this country to begin with all those many years ago.
And I hate the haters who spread their vile condemnation of others as if it's gospel truth. We have the right to live as we chose in this country as long as we don't hurt others in doing so and these haters who call for the stoning of gays are vile...out and out vile and I will call them out NO matter which party they belong to.
So while we differ on many issues my liberal troll we do agree on some things as well...and that's a start on two opposing sides finding a common ground to help save our country from those out to destroy her...whether they be on the left or on the right.
Respectfully,
An American Patriot
.. You are publishing an opinion and spreading negativity upon this man based merely on this photo which could be photoshopped ?? .. Seriously ??
ReplyDeleteOh please...google him and you'll see all his hate videos...which he proudly puts up on YouTube or go to his church site...they;re all there and more.
DeleteTo begin with unless you have absolute proof, beyond a shadow of doubt, 'HOW DARE YOU' question the WORD of GOD! You need to take some of your own medicine Diane, for YOU are also being judgemental and GOD is the ONLY one that can judge. Are YOU without sin that you can cast the first stone? I think not. Your opinion matters not to me, however, you are spewing hatred when there is enough hatred in this country as it is. Jesus said to Hate the sin and love the sinner, or had you yourself forgotten that. May God have mercy on Your soul!
ReplyDeleteLOL at you and your judgmental God.
DeleteYou're the type of person Diane wrote this for. You keep your religion out of politics and vice/versa, everything will be a lot better.
I so agree. These people want the government out of their religion but want their religion in our government...hypocrites. They want it both ways and anyway our Founders set up our Constitution with NO mention of God, Jesus, or the like for a reason. And NOWHERE do I say that anyone should abandon their religion...just keep it out of government. Guess some people just cannot read the written word.
DeleteGoon piece Diane needs to be addressed , as you did . Couldn't agree more ...
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteDiane is right to be mad......the Christian church has no authority over those outside the church membership.....it was under the old covenant that "Israel" was commanded to stone sinners.....that was never commanded in the Christian church.
ReplyDeleteHowever, that being said, homosexuality is still an "abomination" in the eyes of God and 1Corinthians 6:9 makes it clear that there will be no homosexuals in heaven.....and no liars, drunks, thieves or swindlers....and it goes on to declare that there is hope for all of those people because GOD CHANGES HEARTS AND LIVES.
The Christian church nor any church or temple has legal authority over anybody in this country. The rule of law in our land is the Constitution NOT the Bible...period
