The Not So Invisible Enemies Exposed

I cannot say it any clearer or more directly than this...I’m sick of COVID-19 even though I'm not sick with COVID-19...I’m sick of hearing about it; I’m sick of reading about it; I'm sick of having to write about it. I'm sick of the 24/7 media coverage of it along with advertisers spewing out sappy commercials to make a profit off it. I’m sick of having to wear masks and gloves in order to venture out; and I’m sick of that social distancing nonsense. I'm sick of one day blending into the next as 'Ground Hog Day' has truly come to life, and I'm especially sick of all the lies and partisan deceit that has turned what should have stayed a medical crisis into a political one.

I want my freedoms back as guaranteed me by the Constitution...I want to go where I want to go, do what I want to do, and do so at the time and place of my own choosing. I want the economy opened in full post-haste as I want the American worker to be able to work again. I want both small and large businesses to reopen; I want to shop in malls teeming with life; I want restaurants back in operation as I am so sick of limited take-out menus and having to cook the same things over an over again. I want to see fully-stocked grocery stores minus the viruses can go over and around useless plexiglass shields. And I so want to feel the sand between my toes, the sun on my face, and the ocean's salt water flush against my body.

Simply, I want the the life I knew before a nasty little virus from China turned my and everyone's life upside down for whether some will admit it or not we today are no longer America “land of the free,” but America dictated to by governors and mayors whose very actions and words speak not of American values and freedoms but of their personal rules and mandates with the president and the voice of “We the People” be damned.

How so? Remember back to just a few short pre-virus months ago when America's economy was booming thanks to the economic policies of President Trump...remember how he rightfully planned to campaign for reelection based upon said economy. Well in today's still panic-stricken America that economy is but a distant memory what with an additional 20 million jobs lost in April alone, which now translates into the unemployment rate being at 14.7%...the highest since the days of the Great Depression.

Remember all that and also remember this key fact...we are a nation gripped in throws of uncertainty...with some of those uncertainties being real and some being media generated and force-fed...but uncertainty nevertheless for this virus has bred still more unanswerable questions as to what the virus will or will not do next. Will COVID-19 reemerge later this summer; will a reemergence hold off until and if a vaccine is ready; or have we seen its die-off starting to happen naturally on its own accord only to return next winter as a type of seasonal flu. That's what Dr. Anthony Fauci, the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and a key member of President Trump's COVID-19 task force believes, as per his fairly recent article published in The New England Journal of Medicine.

And while it was politicians alone who took what should have remained a medical issue and morphed it into a partisan driven agenda which in turn created the situation we find ourselves in today, the truth is that said situation not only is the direct fault of China's lies, deceit, duplicity, and cover-ups, but it also must be shouldered by three other parties none of whom is President Trump. First, there's the aforementioned Dr. Anthony Fauci who said back on January 7th of this year even as he was witnessing the ongoing worldwide rampage caused by COVID-19 and I quote, "But this [virus] is not a major threat to the people of the United States and this is not something that the citizens of the United States right now should be worried about."

And it was trust in his words...words spoken the very day the first U.S. case of COVID-19 was confirmed...that delayed our president from what now in hindsight could have been earlier actions taken that might have slowed the virus' assault on our country. This man is a medical doctor who heads one of the key agencies that are part of the United States Department of Health and Human Services...a man who knew well the medical logistics of what this virus could and was doing as it moved onward country to country leaving death in its wake...and yet Dr. Fauci spoke those words to our president and “We the People” at a critical junction in time. Shameful words at the very least...proven outright dangerous words in the end...for these were words deliberately rife with misinformation and lies.

And how do we know this...because last year while making a video series for the Washington Post on vaccine safety...last year before COVID-19 reared its ugly head...Dr. Fauci was asked this question and I quote, “What’s the thing that keeps you up at night?" And his response and again I quote, “...the thing I’m most concerned about as an infectious disease physician and as a public health person is the emergence of a new virus that the body doesn’t have any background experience with, that is very transmissible, highly transmissible from person to person, and has a high degree of morbidity and mortality...Now what I’ve essentially done is paint the picture of a pandemic...But the thing that worries most of us in the field of public health is a respiratory illness that can spread even before someone is so sick that you want to keep them in bed. And that’s really the difference.” 

And so the thing Dr. Fauci feared most was already racing around the globe doing exactly what he feared it would do, but instead of his sounding the alarm he told President Trump and the American people that they needn't be worried about it at this time even though he knew that COVID-19 was already here.

So here we see a possible example of  one doctor's politics dictating medical protocol for Dr. Anthony Fauci remains to this day an Obama loyalist and a Hillary Clinton supporter. Could those grievous words of his...words that delayed President Trump from taking action...been driven by his politics? That's hard to say let alone prove, but what can be taken as fact is that those words allowed COVID-19 to become yet another political weapon the Democrats intend to use to help sway the upcoming election against President Trump.

So with Dr. Fauci being the first who must shoulder part of the blame for the situation we find ourselves in today, who then is the second party? Does the name Neil Ferguson ring a bell...if not let me remind you that he is the man who created the epidemiological model and report that influenced, along with Dr. Fauci, President Trump's decision to shut down the economy. Ferguson, a British epidemiologist and professor of mathematical biology who specializes in the patterns and spread of infectious disease in both humans and animals, is the very man who spewed ad-nauseum that "social distancing" was the only way to stop the spread of what he was the the first to call a “deadly virus.” Telling in his report that if the U.S. did not “introduce strict measures to curb people's activity and movement”...as in social distancing...that 2.2 million American's could die from COVID-19. And this in turn led Deborah Birx, the coordinator of Trump's coronavirus task force, to cite Ferguson's report conclusion that an entire household should self-quarantine for 14 days if one of its members is stricken by the virus.

And from here it did spiral downward as the report also stated that if the U.S. pursued more-ambitious measures to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus, “to slow but not necessarily stop the epidemic” over the coming next few months, that we could reduce mortality in our country by half, bringing the death rate down to 1.1 million people dying from COVID-19. So, based upon Neil Ferguson's report what was President Trump to do but shut down the economy in hopes that it would help stop the virus from spreading. In other words, Trump would be damned if he did shut the economy down and damned if didn't, which is exactly what happened and is continuing to happen with his naysayers and critics from across the political aisle claiming that it's too soon to begin a reopening of any kind.

And now for the last party complicit in this COVID-19 fiasco, and again it is not President Trump. And for this we have to point the finger directly at the World Health Organization's Director Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus...a man and an organization that is no friend of the U,S...for it was he who knew and maliciously delayed the information that China was not only shutting down the Wuhu market and disinfecting the city's streets, but that China already knew about the virus' person-to-person contact. And it was also under Ghebreyesus' auspices as WHO's director...and a man in China's bought and paid pocket...who advised President Trump not to stop flights from China into the U.S. at the time when Trump originally wanted to do. In my opinion, there's a lot of blood on this man's hands indeed, as well as on Dr. Anthony Fauci's and epidemiologist Neil Ferguson's too.

So even while many on both sides of the political aisle still refuse to accept the fact that we've been lied to and manipulated by those we trusted as experts, it becomes all to apparent that many of the still escalating COVID-19 problems we're now facing are being fueled on by none other than Barack HUSSEIN Obama himself...fueled on in the hope that he can help stop Donald J. Trump from being reelected. And how so? For starters how about that Obama dared to call Trump's response to the Wuhan virus “anemic and spotty” because Americans have become “selfish” and that we're “being tribal, being divided.” And he added that, “It would have been bad even with the best of governments. It has been an absolute chaotic disaster when that mindset of 'What's in it for me and to heck with everybody else,' when that mindset is operationalized in our government.” Translation: this miserable America-hating man is now not only blaming President Trump for COVID-19, but what he calls “selfish” Americans as well. And pray tell who are the “selfish” Americans Obama is referring to...white, conservative, Trump supporting Americans that's who.

And President Trump's response to Obama's hate-filled partisan words...“We are getting great marks for the handling of the CoronaVirus pandemic, especially the very early BAN of people from China, the infectious source, entering the USA. Compare that to the Obama/Sleepy Joe disaster known as H1N1 Swine Flu. Poor marks, bad polls - didn’t have a clue!” No truer words said.

So where do we as a country now stand as our president is trying hard to get our economy back up and running while being stonewalled in his every move by Democrat governors, mayors, assorted politicians, as well as Dr. Fauci himself...a man now crying wolf that Trump's reopening the economy could (not necessarily would) “trigger an outbreak that you may not be able to control?" Sadly, we now see folks putting their partisan driven agendas before the needs and wants of the American people, thus allowing us to remain a country divided mostly along party lines. Instead, we should be uniting as one in helping to restore not just the economy but our freedoms...freedoms we must no longer take for granted as it's those very freedom's who define who we, as Americans, are. And I for one refuse to let a virus from China, no matter how nasty it might be, turn the America of tomorrow into an America less-free than it used to be in its pre-COVID-19 days.

And so I end where I began...I'm sick not with COVID-19 but sick of COVID-19, and I want my America back...period.
