ObamaCare...just another name for welfare medicine

Welfare state...a system in which the government undertakes the chief responsibility for providing for the social and economic security of its population, usually through unemployment insurance, old-age pensions, health care, and other social-security measures

It's very important that 'We the People' NOT let ObamaCare fade from our public consciousness, so to that affect I give you ObamaCare by the numbers...numbers Obama himself does NOT want you to see...starting with his claim that 38 million more Americans will be insured when ObamaCare is in full operational mode. But this is NOT quite true as 38 million people will NOT be paying for health insurance...most will be added to the Medicaid rolls...welfare medicine in a welfare state personified.

So Obama's recently touted good news that about 1.6 million Americans have enrolled in ObamaCare since October 1st is anything but good news, for the bad news is that 1.46 million out of those 1.6 million have actually signed up for Medicaid NOT for the private pay policies offered on the exchanges.

And guess who subsidizes Medicaid...we taxpayers do...'We the People' who actually work and pay taxes will now be giving yet another free ride to those who don't.

Over the next few months if these numbers continue as expected they will, ObamaCare's monetary needs could very well bankrupt both the federal and state governments. Right now almost 8 cents out of every dollar that the federal government spends goes to Medicaid...currently translating into more than $265 billion per year. But the Congressional Budget Office projects that Medicaid spending will more than double over the next 10 years, reaching $554 billion by 2023, and all because of ObamaCare.

And once again, where will that needed money to meet the now burgeoning Medicaid rolls come from...from we taxpayers of course who will be hit with tax increases like NEVER before just so we can carry those who have been carried for far too long as it is.

And this is what Barack HUSSEIN Obama intended right from the first moment he stated that ObamaCare will be the law of the land...as in take from the 'haves' to make the 'have nots' even more dependent on the government for their very existence instead of having them take responsibility for themselves...to make sure the 'have nots' NEVER bite the hand that feeds, clothes, and now takes care of all their health care needs.

And so our beloved country will forever be known as the Welfare Medicine States of America...a country where projections say that within a decade 17 million Americans will be receiving ObamaCare subsidies (and for the most part they will be people who had health insurance they were happy with and could afford before the monstrosity that is ObamaCare reared its ugly head and made their policies cost prohibited or had them cancelled outright), and an additional 21 million Americans will have been added to the 63+ million people already on the Medicaid rolls...stressing to the breaking point a system already a trillion+ dollars in the red.

And that does NOT include the more than 20 million Americans that will be added to the Medicare program by 2025 as our population ages. And while Medicare is NOT a handout...as one pays into it their entire working life...it still places financial stress on our health care system payouts, but it really shouldn't have to as the people who put money into Medicare should be the only ones benefiting from Medicare...liberal kumbaya nonsense be damned.

Now let this anything but nice number sink in...within that projected decade when those new people are added into those currently on Medicaid, 84+ million Americans out of a total population of then probably close to 320 million will be getting basically free health care that we taxpayers will actually be the ones paying for them to get. Talk about 'redistribution of wealth'...it's more like the rape of the American middle-class taxpayer as almost a third of all Americans will be beholden to the government for their medical needs.

And this in turn will create even more 'sponges'...who never met an entitlement they didn't like... 'sponges' who will be happy to sign-up for food stamps and other freebies...as in 'hey man free stuff'...which they really do NOT qualify for but which thanks to Obama's 'fundamental transformation of America' they will get. Remember, the simple fact is that one freebie always leads to another freebie, especially with the 'gimme gimme...you owe me' demographics of our society.

And with the number of Americans signing up for Medicaid greatly outpacing the number of Americans signing up for private health insurance policies, can a single-payer system be far behind...something that we all know was always Obama's true objective as ObamaCare was designed to fail...and fail it will since it is monetarily unsustainable.

Want more...here's a bit of added info about the subsidies themselves that also will NOT make you happy...according to the The Kaiser Family Foundation roughly 48% of Americans who buy individual insurance today would be eligible for subsidies...meaning those eligible would receive an average of $5,548, which would cover 66% of the price. And guess who picks up that cost...yup...we taxpayers yet again for where else will the government find the money to pay for all of this.

Talk about the ObamaCare fiasco translating into taking from Peter to pay Paul.

And so the bottom line after digesting these most upsetting of numbers is that we must rid ourselves of ObamaCare post-haste or we will indeed become a welfare nation forced into a single payer system of health care. And if that happens it means we go from bad to worse...much worse. So this is the reality we must face...we MUST MUST MUST get the vote out in November and retake the Senate and keep the House for that and only that will allow us to wake up from the nightmare that is ObamaCare...period.

ObamaCare...the gift that keeps on giving

ObamaCare...we cannot allow the media to sweep this nightmare under the rug like they do with so many other things for this is one nightmare that needs to remain in the public's consciousness.  Ignoring it will allow Obama and his minions to continue to perpetrate the LIE about how wonderful it will all be when ObamaCare is fully implemented...and the sheeple and uninformed will lap it up like a dog laps up water on a hot day.  But the simple truth is that it will only get worse because the government has NO business dictating the healthcare of its citizenry...period.  

So with that let's cut to the chase and lay out the bottom line truth for all to see...ObamaCare was designed to fail so that Barack HUSSEIN Obama could then get what he's always wanted...a single-payer form of healthcare that goes beyond mere socialized medicine.  In other words nationalized medicine....as in Medicaid for everyone...with the government calling all the shots...and with the government getting the money to sustain it all through more taxes.

As in stick it to 'We the People' yet again.

Under a single-payer system 'death panels' would take on a life of their own as they became the new norm...you are older...you get sick...you die. It is that simple. And never mind if you have something that can be cured...your age makes you a liability that puts a drain on the funding so it's bye-bye.  And rest assured that age cut-off will NOT be 75 or 80 but could possibly be as young as 55...scary, huh.

Ever since ObamaCare officially reared its ugly head with the roll out of its non-working website on October 1st, more people are now uninsured than ever before...with almost six million Americans who were happy with their healthcare coverage having now lost those policies as they've been cancelled from said policies simply because Obama said they were NO good.  Think about that for a minute...a 'community organizer' from Chicago who has absolutely NO medical knowledge whatsoever has now decided what constitutes good medical care and coverage and what does NOT.

And remember, with Obama and his minions everything they do is all about securing future Democratic voters and totally tying Americans to the hand that feeds them...or in this case to the hand that treats them when they get sick. Wanting to create generations tied to the government teat is the whole concept behind ObamaCare and don't for a minute think it's anything else...because it's NOT.

Simple fact, the very foundation upon which ObamaCare was concocted is shaky at best for while it's true that tens of millions of  Americans were indeed without health insurance before ObamaCare that did NOT stop anyone...including those here ILLEGALLY...from walking into any emergency room in this country when needed, for in America NO matter your financial ability to pay you CANNOT be turned away from emergency room treatment. 

And one has to laugh at the ludicrousness of it all as last week Kathleen Sebelius...the very person who had the responsibility for implementing ObamaCare and getting it right....bloviatied before Congress that to date 365,00 people have signed up for ObamaCare through either the state or federal exchanges...a number she claims makes ObamaCare a undeniable success.  But what she did NOT say was that there were states that saw almost as many people lose their insurance because of ObamaCare as sign up for ObamaCare.  In other words a breaking even at best...a probable decline in the numbers covered at worst.

And while we know that Congress tends to over-inflate numbers a bit (that puts it mildly), according to the Congressional Budget Office Report (CBO) issued in the weeks before ObamaCare was officially launched, there were about 53 million uninsured persons in the United States, including uninsured ILLEGAL aliens (but let's be honest here...who gives a damn about the ILLEGALS as in the very word ILLEGAL means breaking the law). The CBO report also projected that in 2022...a mere eight years from now...30 million people...most of whom will NOT be elderly...will still be uninsured, and that includes eight percent of legal US citizens or residents.  This means that 22 percent of those uninsured will most likely be ILLEGALS with that number growing, because as of now they keep coming and coming as our borders are still NOT secure you know.

And we have Obama to thank for that one too. 

So again...let them go to the emergency room...whoops...how could I forget that if they keep doing that it means that once again 'We the People' will be footing the bill for those here ILLEGALLY... deep disgusted sigh for I know that there are NO true winners with ObamaCare nor was it designed to create any winners amongst real Americans, for like I said before ObamaCare was created to assure government control of health care and for that reason alone. 

And now think about this so NOT happy thought...come January 1st there will be fewer Americans with health insurance than there will be on December 31st...and that is the harsh reality of the ramifications of Obamacare.  And if a sizable number of the millions who had their insurance cancelled simply refuse to re-enroll...which many are indeed doing or should I say NOT doing...you can safely assume that many of those refusing will be the young and healthy...the oh so needed demographic that ObamaCare needs to remain financially viable if NOT outright operational.

And then what happens when the insurance pools become filled only with the sick and elderly which would likely be the case...what happens is premiums would hit the roof even more than they already have on the plans offered on the exchanges today...with some plans seeing premiums doubling or even tripling in some cases.

The solution to the 'supposed' healthcare crisis of 'supposedly' many being uninsured would have really been quite simple if Obama had truly wanted to help those uninsured...all he had to do was set-up an 'exchange' where those uninsured people alone could purchase...YES purchase NOT get a free ride via Medicaid...truly affordable insurance with the coverage needed.  There was NO need for Barack HUSSEIN Obama to screw up what was already successfully in place for the majority just to accommodate the few.

So what was the point of ObamaCare when there was NO medical necessity, urgency, or crisis to justify ObamaCare whatsoever, because as I mentioned before NO one is turned away from an emergency room, and the vast majority of those already insured were happy with the plans they already had.  When all the bravado and bloviations spewed out by the Obama loyalists is stripped away what remains is that ObamaCare is all about control.  It's all about yet another Obama power grab...about having all encompassing control over every aspect of our personal lives.  And medical care is about as personal as anything can get.  With it's power grab and control ObamaCare sounds a lot like islam doesn't it...where a political system (and islam is NOTHING but a political system mind you) wraps its tentacles around the individual until it...especially in the case of ObamaCare's 'death panels'...literally squeezes the life out of you.  But hey, with a muslim in the White House ObamaCare fits that islamic ideology perfectly.

So once again it's 'We the People' getting screwed by both Barack HUSSEIN Obama and by each and every member of Congress who passed this abomination of a bill before they bothered to read it.

All I can say is hurry up November 2014.

Op-ed:

On judges, ObamaCare and the nuclear option...issues joined at the hip

In a lawless power grab that broke all the rules in order to change the rules to favor Barack HUSSEIN Obama’s leftist agenda…and knowing that Republicans will most likely retake the Senate and keep the House in 2014…the Senate under Harry Reid’s hand invoked the ‘nuclear option’…thus heralding in the start of at least one very dangerous year of ‘unilateral rule of government' where the will of the Democratic majority will trample on the rights of the Republican minority.

And the utter hypocrisy in this is that in 2005, when he was Senator Barack HUSSEIN Obama, this most miserable excuse of all presidents was against anyone wanting to initiate the ‘nuclear option’ saying it was nothing but a partisan move to push a partisan agenda. But now with his approval ratings sinking to an all-time low (37% at last check) and as ObamaCare falls apart before his LYING eyes…all that has changed and in a last ditch attempt to save ObamaCare and his legacy…and to stack the bench with left-leaning judges…Barack HUSSEIN Obama signaled his cohort 'Prince' Harry Reid to ram through the ‘nuclear option’ so that starting with this Congress, only a simple 51 vote majority is needed to push through ALL of his executive branch and leftist judicial nominees (except for Supreme Court nominees) by removing them from the possibility of facing a Republican filibuster.

And this is critical and so NOT good as any and all challenges to ObamaCare will probably be handled by the Federal Court of Appeals which Obama can now stack with loyal to him appointees.

In a mostly partisan 52 to 48 vote…three Democrats…three Democrat of conscious including Senators Carl Levin of Michigan, Joe Manchin of West Virginia, and Mark Pryor of Arkansas…sided with the Republicans against the ‘nuclear option’ and to those men I say thank-you for seeing this move as NOTHING but a less than honorable way to stack the courts with ‘serving Obama alone’ judges, and opening the door to God only knows what else as ending the filibuster…a maneuver used in the Senate for well over 200 years as a way of keeping the executive branch in line…for ending of the filibuster for nominations could very well end the filibuster for legislation as well.

And that is truly something every American needs to fear.

“Over the past five years, we had an unprecedented pattern of obstruction in Congress that has prevented too much of the American people’s business from getting done…Today’s pattern of obstruction isn’t normal. It’s not what our founders envisioned,” Obama croaked at his photo-op press conference showing his support for the ‘nuclear option.’

But it was ‘Prince’ Harry Reid, after claiming that it was the Republican’s blocking of Robert Wilkins…the Obama wanted appointment to be a judge on the powerful D.C. Court of Appeals…that led to this remark made before the vote was taken, “Republicans have routinely used the filibuster to prevent President Obama from appointing his executive team or confirming judges,” Reid said on the Senate floor. “We’re burning wasted hours and wasted days between filibusters. I could say instead we’re burning wasted days and wasted weeks between filibusters. It’s time to change. It’s time to change the Senate before this institution becomes obsolete.”

And in response to Reid’s nonsense, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell called the move “utterly absurd” and accused Democrats of setting up “one set of rules for themselves and another for everybody else.” He told Democrats “you may regret this a lot sooner than you think.”

By the way…who is Harry Reid to dare speak of wasted hours…wasted days…how about the fact that the Senate is only in session between 120-190 days per year with the average being 140 days out of 365 days…now that is wasted hours and wasted days when Reid and his cohorts should be working doing the job ‘We the People’ elected them to do instead of following in Obama’s footsteps of countless vacations at our taxpayer expense…but I digress (but rightfully so…)

But Reid’s entire premise for wanting the ‘nuclear option’ is based on LIES because Republicans only blocked 30 (with some just temporarily blocked) of Obama’s nominees. So oh how wrong…as always…Prince Harry is for to date the total number of Obama judicial nominees to be confirmed by the Senate is a whopping 211, including two Supreme Court Justices, 39 judges to the US Courts of Appeals, 168 judges to the US District Courts, and two judges to the US Court of International Trade…with the vast majority confirmed with bi-partisan support.

Now please pray tell me how those numbers are indicative of Republicans blocking all the confirmations of Obama nominated judges…it simply is NOT true…thus lending more credence to the fact that this move by Reid and the Senate was strictly political…done to deflect attention away from the ObamaCare fiasco and for that reason alone…for even the ‘in-the-pocket-for Obama’ media has started to shy away from him.

And so to dig the knife of NOTHING but revenge deeper into the Republicans backs for NOT embracing ObamaCare…as in how dare those ‘bad’ Republicans try to blame the media anointed ‘savior’ of us all for its fundamental flaws…yesterday Obama suddenly and oh so conveniently announced numerous appointees to the federal judiciary. But the sad reality of this is that Barack HUSSEIN Obama is willing to throw the judiciary into chaos just so he can try to salvage his unworkable namesake health care plan. And there goes the fledgling but growing bi-partisan show of support for actually repealing ObamaCare for now Democratic Senators dare NOT cross party lines as all but three voted ‘yea’ for the ‘nuclear option’…a most vile maneuver of political trickery.

So now Obama can and will stack the federal courts with even more left-leaning liberal judges and will NOT acquiesce to the voices of the majority of Americans who want NO part of ObamaCare. And with this new power we best keep our eyes peeled and watch out Second Amendment and pro-lifers.

And so Obama’s bag of tricks has been opened via Harry Reid. Thinking he’s pulled the coup of all coups with the ‘nuclear option’ he now has announced a delay in the sign-up period for next year’s deadline on ObamaCare until AFTER the 2014 elections, because he now is assured of Senatorial support for this. And NO matter that all this ‘nuclear option’ shenanigans is just a political ploy to hide next year’s sticker shock when people visit the exchanges, Obama hopes that voters will NOT hold their Representatives and Senators responsible come election day for the health care disaster… but oh how wrong he is as the American people are smart enough to see this as a political ploy and NOTHING more…especially after his LIES upon LIES upon LIES.

Truth be told Barack HUSSEIN Obama could care less about this year’s 5.1 million cancelled policies that have thrown the lives of millions of hardworking, taxpaying Americans into chaos as his liberal progressive agenda trumps all, and under his administration the American people be damned.

And so the importance of taking back the Senate and keeping the House in 2014 is a must for the only way to stop Harry Reid’s blatant grab for power and Barack HUSSEIN Obama’s total misuse of power is to vote the whole damn bunch of Democrats OUT in both the House and Senate…and only then can we focus on impeaching this most incompetent, narcissistic, traitors ever to hold the office of President of these United States.
