A failed apology born of damage control…and damage control alone

All presidents LIE at one time or another during their presidency and they usually pay a steep price for their LIE even when issuing an apology…and the ultimate LIE that has brought the credibility of Barack HUSSEIN Obama into question might finally be the LIE whose consequences comes back to haunt the media anointed ‘savior’ of us all.

Herbert Hoover LIED while America was on the verge of economic collapse. “The fundamental business of the country, that is, production and distribution of commodities, is on a sound and prosperous basis.” Four days later on October 25, 1929 the stock market crashed, depression followed, and Hoover’s political career was over.

“We still seek no wider war” LBJ said after the Gulf of Tonkin incident in August 1964, yet the bloody Viet-Nam War escalated right after these words were spoken…and LBJ did NOT seek a second term.

“Read my lips: no new taxes.” This infamous LIE also cost George HW Bush a second term in office, because he broke his promise and raised taxes on the American people.

“I did not have sexual relations with that woman.” “That depends on what the meaning of ‘is’ is.” Bill Clinton and cigars forever infamously joined together as he LIED under oath about an affair with intern Monica Lewinsky…a LIE that led to his impeachment and tarnished his legacy.

But these LIES and their soon to follow apologies…apologies issued by honorable men compared to the man currently occupying the White House…pale in comparison to the LIES told time and again and to yesterday's apology that was anything but for he American people have been taken for a ride by a pathological LIAR named Barack HUSSEIN Obama…a man who calculatingly crafts his words…his LIES…to inflict as much pain on ‘We the People’ as he possibly can.

Obama’s LIES go way back…maybe as far back as to the truth about his birth…but we know he started LYING his way into a political career by claiming he was a Constitutional Law Professor…something he NEVER was. The highly reliable source ‘Fact Check’ said he was a ‘Lecturer’ and NEVER was conferred with the title of ‘Professor’...NOT of Constitutional Law or of anything else, period. Yet the man who ‘supposedly’ surrendered his law license voluntarily still claims he was a Constitutional Law Professor.

And here are but a mere few of his infamous LIES told over just the past few years…in early 2010 Obama claimed the southern border fence was, and I quote, “basically complete.” He LIED because as of today the Congressional agreed to 700 mile long fence is still NOWHERE near completion…“I said Benghazi was a terrorist attack from the beginning.” NO he's LYING because for weeks he claimed the attack that killed four Americans was in response to an amateur YouTube video…“First of all, I didn’t set a red line, the world set a red line.” YES he did say he set a red line as he tried to ‘up’ Benjamin Netanyahu’s ‘red line’ words concerning Iran’s nuclear program…“The NSA is not abusing its power.” Oh YES it is as they continue to spy on both American citizens and on foreign leaders.

But these LIES are NOTHING compared to the mother lode of all his LIES…a LIE Obama repeated in countless speeches, campaign rallies, and town hall meetings across America...a lie spoken of in numerous NOTHING but photo-op press conferences…a LIE claiming that Americans who are satisfied with their health insurance plans could keep them even after ObamaCare took full effect at the beginning of next year.

“If you like your health care plan, you will be able to keep your health care plan. Period. No one will take it away.” And with that LIE Obama’s poll numbers came tumbling down below the critical 40% mark…and rightly so as to date over four million Americans (with that number projected to go upward of 129 million) were cancelled from the private insurance policies that they liked...that met their needs…and that they could afford…and all because of Obama’s LIE.

And now changing his words to “If you had one of these plans before the Affordable Care Act came into law and you really liked that plan, what we said was you can keep it if it hasn’t changed since the law passed” just adds another layer to his original LIE...a LIE recorded on tape 29 or more times and countless times in print…each showing that is NOT what Obama said.

And true politician that he is and because of the political fallout and ONLY because of the political fallout, early last night in an interview with NBC News correspondent Chuck Todd, Barack HUSSEIN Obama, in focused damage control mode, said that he "regrets" he wasn’t as clear as he needed to be when he said you can keep the plans you currently have and like.

Guess what...that is NOT an apology…that is NOTHING but hollow meaningless words… meaningless because the words everyone was waiting to hear…the words ‘I LIED’…NEVER crossed Obama’s lips.

And why didn’t they…simply because Obama's only "regret" is that he was caught in a LIE but does NOT "regret" that he told that LIE.

Still NOT taking responsibility for his actions or his words, Obama said, “I am sorry that they are finding themselves in this situation based on assurances they got from me” but that does NOT make right the fact that he and his administration knew since the summer of 2010 that millions of Americans would lose their insurance under the ObamaCare law, and yet he still chose to bold-face LIE to the American people anyway just so he could get this nightmare of a health care law passed through Congress.

And of course the Obama’s spin meisters immediately chimed in to try to neutralize Obama’s weak apology…after all any apology NO matter how weak makes the media anointed ‘savior’ of us all appear weak and vulnerable. Saying Obama did NOT mislead the American people because the law could not have accounted for insurers altering existing plans after passage of the law just adds to the anger millions of Americans are feeling right now.

Feeling anger and rightly so as Obama’s apology itself was a LIE. Saying he had “NOT purposely misled anyone”…that it was always his intention that no one should lose a plan they wanted to keep…he kept saying that most people who are forced off their current plan will be able to find new insurance that is cheaper and provides better coverage. And that right there is the biggest LIE of all for those who have perused the ObamaCare exchanges…those who have successfully navigated the disastrous Healthcare.gov website…have said that the policies offered were more expensive than the ones they were cancelled from and included provisions they did NOT need or want.

But thankfully the truth about this apology came out in a misspeak…for in having NO teleprompter to guide him the true reason for his anything but an apology slipped out unfettered for during the interview...Barack HUSSEIN Obama...the most narcissistic of all presidents had the audacity to say, “I've been burnt…” then fast corrected it to “the American people have been burnt…”*

And that my friends says it all for this miserable excuse of a president and his miserable excuse of an apology was NEVER meant to be about the harm he inflicted on ‘We the People’ but was always intended to be about the harm ‘We the People’ supposedly inflicted on him by NOT marching in lockstep and embracing his equally miserable health care law that most people do NOT want, do NOT need, and cannot afford.

And to that I say...period.

Obama's LIES can kill you

“If you had or have one of these plans before the Affordable Care Act came into law, and you really like that plan, what we said was, you could keep it…if it hasn’t changed since the law’s passed.” – Barack HUSSEIN Obama 11/4/13

NO…that is NOT what he said at least 29 times on camera and countless times in print over these past three years.

NOT even trying to rationalize his LIE, Barack HUSSEIN Obama is simply denying he ever spewed it. Trying to pull a ‘do-over’…to rewrite history if you will to suit his nefarious ObamaCare agenda…as try as he might Obama CANNOT deny these previous words now come back to haunt, “If you like your health care plan, you will be able to keep your health care plan. Period. No one will take it away.”

“Period”…as in definitely…NO problem.  ”Period”…as in its written in stone…that is if you are NOT someone who talks out of both sides of their mouth…someone who knew three years ago that there was NO way people would be able to keep their current plans or the doctors they liked… someone who let his policy advisers be overruled by malicious and vindictive political players… political players the likes of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi who veraciously pushed for ObamaCare but freely admitted they had NOT even read it.

Obama LIED…out-and-out LIED to the American people and he now has the gall to spew a new LIE to rationalize and justify how his first LIE is actually his version of a truth being kept…and the sheeple, the ‘sponges’ and those still enamored of him will fall for it as they will hear the new spin quite differently than the rest of us do, simply because it benefits them to do so and the rest of us…the vast majority of Americans…will again be the ones getting screwed by yet another Obama LIE.

And so it seems that both ObamaCare and its namesake are the gifts from hell that keep on giving for the undeniable reality is that to date almost 4 million insurance policies people were happy with got cancelled by carriers they liked, and are now forced into the anything but wonderful ObamaCare exchanges to get coverage they do NOT need…do NOT want…and have to pay more for. And it does NOT stop with those four million for you can feel the angst in the air as every walk to the mailbox becomes a crap shoot of who will be getting cancelled next.

And here’s another little Obama giftie soon to become reality… according to Chris Conover, economist and research scholar for the Center for Health Policy & Inequalities Research at DUKE University and adjunct scholar at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), once the employee mandate kicks in next year 129 million...YES you read that right…129 MILLION Americans… including 35 million directly losing actual employee coverage… translates into a whopping 68% of all Americans currently with private health insurance losing their coverage.

And Barack HUSSEIN Obama and his anything but a health care bill built this sad scenario and completely owns it.

Adding insult to this grievous injury is that when someone is cancelled they have to hear Obama bloviating that their policies were cancelled because he…the media anointed ‘savior’ of us all’…deemed their policies and their coverage ‘inferior’ as they did NOT cover enough of what he…Barack HUSSEIN Obama…says needs to be covered. What that really translates into is that those policies did NOT cover things the policy holder did NOT need or want, therefore could NOT be charged for…which means there will be less of ‘We the People’s’ hard earned dollars in the system to pay for Obama’s party loyal ‘you owe me’ supporters…the ‘sponges’ of our society…those who now get free health care by just walking into any emergency room in this country.

And if being cancelled itself wasn’t enough of a sucker-punch, so many ‘surprises’ still await those who now must go into the dreaded exchanges…surprises that can be dead right dangerous to one’s health…surprises like under ObamaCare you may NOT have access to the nation’s top tier (18) hospitals…the very hospitals on the cutting edge of the newest medical and surgical treatments… hospitals with America’s leading cancer specialists on staff… hospitals that could save your life if faced with this or any other catastrophic disease.

Remember, in pre-ObamaCare America the top-tier hospitals accepted insurance from dozens of private carriers, but it now seems that these hospitals…as leery of ObamaCare as ‘We the People’ are…will only accept but a few out of the 36 federal exchanges ObamaCare offers…and these same hospitals will only offer limited treatment and surgical options from those they do accept. So being denied treatment at these hospitals…unless you sign onto one of the few extremely expensive and high deductible Obama-approved exchanges…means basically that you have been subjected to the decision of a ‘death panel’ but you’ll NEVER see those words in print.

And many other non-top tier hospitals are saying ‘NO’ to ObamaCare as well, because the ObamaCare caps on premiums means that insurers will offer said doctors and hospitals far less reimbursement wise for services rendered than they were offered before ObamaCare reared its ugly head.

In fact, provisions in ObamaCare actually cut reimbursement rates for patients on Medicare… the very people most likely to be hospitalized…those older Americans Obama has NO use for…as in pay hospitals little for their treatment so that it becomes cost prohibited to treat them…can anyone again say death panels.

And to make the hospital situation even worse is that many people perusing the exchanges are doing so with much needed information being deliberately omitted…as in the listing of exactly what doctors and what hospitals are in the exchange they might choose. This means that some people might inadvertently purchase policies that actually have NO hospital coverage at all…forcing those who need hospitalization to be hit with a huge bill for having to go out-of-network for treatment when chances are the policy they had before being cancelled would have allowed them to to go to the hospital of their choice…including to the top-tier hospitals.

In NO uncertain terms ObamaCare is a nightmare for America’s hospitals for NO hospital wants to turn away the sick…to have chose who they will service and who they will NOT or CANNOT service because some narcissistic, anti-American bloviator of a president has decided to make and initiate for us all what are really medical decisions that he has NO right making.

And the sad reality is that with ObamaCare in place it will only get worse for America’s hospitals and for “We the People’ before it gets better…that is if it ever does.

Sebelius’ for the camera 'dog and pony' show

“Don’t do this to me,” said Kathleen Sebelius when she thought she was off-mike…how about ‘don’t do this (ObamaCare) to ‘We the People.’

And so the hearings on the in-trouble ObamaCare website began, as noticeably nervous, fidgety, and obviously NOT wanting to be there, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius yesterday testified before the House Energy and Commerce Committee…the very Committee holding hearings as to the cause and effect of the troubled debut of ObamaCare’s official health care website, Healthcare.gov.

In a carefully orchestrated cacophony of lies, innuendos, and evasiveness fed into by the Democratic party loyalists in attendance…loyalists whose job was to heap praise on this monstrosity of a health care act NO matter what…Sebelius took an oath to tell the truth…the whole truth…and NOTHING but the truth...which of course we all know she did NOT do as she must cover herself (and of course cover for Obama) and her ineptitude as calls for her resignation continue to grow.

Starting off with being asked for the exact numbers of enrollment in the marketplace, Sebelius insisted accurate numbers would not be available until mid-November.

“The numbers that we have now just aren’t reliable. We want to be able to present accurate data,” she croaked…more like we need time to fix and adjust the numbers to meet our agenda…and down it went from there.

Trying to deflect blame off Barack HUSSEIN Obama…actually being his human shield of the kind all good muslims use…and his outright LYING to the American people about their being able to keep their current health plans…“If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor, period. If you like your health care plan, you’ll be able to keep your health care plan, period. No one will take it away, no matter what"…and despite the 2 million cancellation notices that have already been sent out…with more on the way…Sebelius had the audacity to claim that the Obama White House has kept its promises to the American people.

I don’t think this woman is living on the same planet as the rest of us because what doesn’t she get about 2 million policies to date being cancelled solely because of ObamaCare. And Sebelius even had the gall to claim that it was the insurance companies altering their ‘inadequate’ plans in order to conform with Obamacare as the reason for the cancellations, that insurance companies routinely alter coverage in the individual marketplace, and that people on these plans often hold them for less than a year.

NO…I do NOT think so as the insurance companies are being forced to cancel both long and short-term policy holders because they CANNOT afford to alter their ‘adequate’ plans…plans people are happy with…to add on all the lunacy that is part and parcel of ObamaCare. And it is ObamaCare that drove these cancellations because ObamaCare’s very goal is to drive people into the exchanges, for that is the only way possible for Obama to monetarily sustain the health care system…a system that would collapse under its own weight if private insurance was allowed to stay.

Reading off a prepared statement…and showing NO visible signs of remorse at all…Sebelius said that she regretted that perusing HealthCare.gov has been a “miserably frustrating experience” for many, yet she still continued to bloviate that Obamacare and its website have been working well for millions of Americans, albeit slower than she would have liked. What I’d like to know is who those millions of Americans are as the reality is that most of the few who have been able to sign onto the website have NOT signed up for the ObamaCare exchanges but have signed up for Medicaid… further taxing the already overloaded health care system for poorer and disabled Americans.

And the blame game continued on as Kathleen Sebelius placed blame on everybody for the website’s failures but on its rightful owner…as in her boss Barack HUSSEIN Obama….and doing so with the same smug look on her face that we see time and again on Obama’s face as he blames everybody but himself when anything goes wrong. Trying to dump the website’s problems in the lap of contractor Verizon…blaming Verizon for the server failures while at the same time claiming the server and the site have NEVER crashed…yet another LIE was exposed for early yesterday morning the site went down again and stayed down the entire time she was testifying …in fact it went down for the third time in as many days…showing just how incompetent Kathleen Sebelius is in doing the job she was appointed to do.

And in Sebelius’ defending of ObamaCare…her own law per se…a law she obviously does NOT understand because when asked if she would sign on to one of the ObamaCare exchanges her reply was that it would be illegal for her to do so. And we could see her nose visibly growing as she took off and put on her glasses for the umpteenth time...for that’s one big LIE…a LIE on the same scope as Obama’s ‘you can keep your health insurance’ LIE. And while it’s NOT illegal for her to sign on her NOT signing on borders on the criminal…to me at least…because what’s good for us common folks should damn well be just as good for those like her who sit in their ivory towers dictating to the rest of us what we can and cannot do.

Bottom line...while this hearing was really just a ‘dog and pony show’ done solely for the cameras, Sebelius and her Democratic cohorts continue to try and herald ObamaCare’s supposed pluses…but truth be told ObamaCare is actually worse than any form of socialized medicine in existence today, because ObamaCare was designing right from the get-go to be a total and complete dismantling our America’s medical system. ObamaCare is NOT about better medicine…is NOT about better medical care…reducing insurance costs…or even about covering the previously uninsured…but is about ObamaCare and its so-called ‘glitches’ being just a diversion so that when it dies after a very theatrical played for maximum affect death…Barack HUSSEIN Obama can then implement what was his always wanted goal…to implement a single payer system of health care…meaning Medicaid for everyone…and he could care less that it will be we taxpayers who will shoulder the burden of its cost.

And while Kathleen Sebelius told the Committee, “Let me say directly to these Americans: You deserve better. I apologize. I’m accountable to you for fixing these problems…Hold me accountable for the debacle. I’m responsible,” the truth is that as president the blame is the ultimate responsibility of Barack HUSSEIN Obama to take and no one else…and a real man and real president would do just that.
