...And as to be expected, the Democrat controlled media, the Second Amendment haters, and assorted kumbaya liberal sorts...immediately started spewing out their ever so foolish “gun control” narrative. Using in their anti-gun discourse the usual rhetoric ranging from blaming the NRA to calling for bans on all assault weapons, what is always forgotten in their rantings is the indisputable truth that guns...that assault weapons...do not kill people... people kill people...as no gun, no rifle, no assault weapon has ever loaded itself and killed anyone. Simply, it takes pulling the trigger actions of a human hand to kill...the very tangible reality the media and those on the left refuse to accept as fact.

Better they protest against an inanimate object...better they call for an inanimate object to be banned than it is to get the obviously mentally ill the help that they need before they commit such deadly acts. Better to keep mental illness and insanity locked in the proverbial closet than it is to accept as fact that some folks simply do not and might never be able to live amongst civilized men and women. Better to do all that than admit that warnings of insanity were either overlooked or ignored in situations such as school shootings, most especially if it meets the left's gun control narrative...Read entire article and see videos here.

The Media, Pronouns, and Simple Solutions Ignored

Six innocents are now dead. Three adults and three 9-year old children were brutally murdered last Monday at The Nashville Covenant School, a Christian private school...murdered in a carefully planned and then carried out attack by one Audrey Hale, a 28-year old Nashville based illustrator and graphic designer who had no criminal record prior to the massacre, but who former middle school friends deemed to be somewhat “stalker like” in her actions. Hale identified as transgender...as in a “she wanna-be he.” Rightfully shot dead by Nashville police officers...the “good guys” with guns...their actions saved not only more innocent lives, but saved Tennessee taxpayers countless millions of dollars on a trial and years of appeals and excuses made for why this person did what “she” did.

And while we know that this true piece of “human garbage”...to me the deliberate killing of children puts one in that category...did legally purchase seven firearms from five different local stores...three of which...an AR-style rifle and an AR-style pistol plus one handgun...were used in Monday’s shooting, we now have learned that “she” was able to hide all seven firearms in “her” family home without “her” parents knowledge. Interesting in the fact that one would think that Audrey's parents would be more diligent as to their daughters comings and goings especially with their knowing that “she” was under a doctor's care for what the media says is an “emotional disorder”... what I assume is related to Audrey Hale thinking that “she” was not a “woman” but a “man.”

Now here I must state that, in my opinion, what is called transgenderism does not fall under the category of being a mere “emotional disorder,” but in actuality is a serious “mental illness.” To say otherwise ignores true scientific fact that until ones genetic code...as in ones DNA...can be changed...a scientific and medical impossibility at this point in time...one remains as one was born with all else being but “play acting” at best. And it's “play acting”...as in pretending...being condoned by unscrupulous doctors who willingly ignore the one cardinal rule in medicine...as in to “do no harm”...with their doing so by pumping hormones into and performing knowingly mutilating surgeries even on very young children. And most go along with this butchery for the all-mighty dollar alone...surgeries many so-called “trans folks” come to regret as they get older and ever so much wiser.

And what these same folks also forget...or more likely choose to ignore...is the all-important, ever so critical fact that shootings such as the Nashville Covenant School murder spree could have easily been prevented if the school's entry had not just been looked down with a key and/or a bolt, but if the the doors themselves had been constructed of bulletproof materials including bulletproof glass. And sadly in today's world, and most important of all, all schools, thanks to the uptick in the number of school shootings that have taken place over the past few years, all schools no matter the grade level...and I mean each and every school both public and private..now need to have at least one armed police officer stationed at every major point of entry along with teachers being armed if they so desire.

This simple solution clearly lies in plain sight, but the political based nonsense regarding firearms seems for the left to trump all...the safety of America's children be damned. Remember, those who want guns will always find a way to get guns, and more times than not it's the “bad guys” who will secure a firearm before the “good guys” do.

 

Simply stated, in today's America the situation regarding attacks on our schools will only get worse before it gets better most especially if the liberal media continues to stick their nose into the mix. How so...because today's Democrat controlled media does not report the news but manufactures the news to both bolster their leftist condoned political narrative as well as for ratings and bottom line profits. 

 

 

A perfect example of this can be seen in how the media reported the Nashville school shooting. Yes, they spoke about how the surveillance video shows the shooter getting into the school by shooting out a side door by breaking the glass. And yes, they reported on how the shooter meandered throughout the building only to end up on the second floor while firing numerous shots. And they did report on how the shooter was killed within 14 minutes of the first report of a shooting taking place, and they also reported that the shooter was firing at police cars outside the school when officers took said shooter down.

 

Reporting the facts as they happened...all good, at least on the surface that is...for once it was found out that “female” shooter Audrey Hale was a transgender...a “she” pretending to be a “he”...the media in effect froze for they were in a quandary over what was the correct pronoun to use when talking about said shooter, instead of their focusing on the crime at hand. In fact, the radical group “Trans Resistance Net” sent major news outlets letters to “demand,” yes “demand,” that the Nashville shooter be addressed in “proper terminology”...in this case the demanded pronoun “he”...or else trouble would ensue.

But as expected, most of the liberal media complied with their “demands,” after all they are obligated to keep the left's politically motivated pretense going that switching ones gender is both normal and possible, and is not a mental illness at all.

And thanks to the media's adhering to political correctness with all their attention being diverted on pronouns, much needed attention has been diverted away from the fact that six innocent individuals lay dead due to the actions of Audrey Hale, the “woman” shown on video carrying a detailed map of the building and who conducted surveillance before “she” started shooting. And while “she”...I will never acquiesce to the “proper pronoun” nonsense...did not seem to be targeting any one specific individual but actually the school building itself based upon “her” manifesto-style writings, drawings, and recent online research into the school's points of entry, the most important fact must remain that six innocent people lay dead...9-year old students Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs, and William Kinney, along with School Head Katherine Koonce, substitute teacher Cynthia Peak, and custodian Mike Hill...all killed by a seriously mentally ill individual with a supposed grudge.

So did Audrey Hale's “emotional disorder” regarding “her” sexual identity drive “her” to do what “she” did...maybe... maybe not. Could Hale's reported obsession with “her” former middle school girls basketball team members be the sole driving force...maybe...maybe not...for it always must be remembered that sometimes it's madness alone that drives one to commit unspeakable actions. But one thing I surely do know is that when the media picks and chooses what is and is not to be reported on in regards to a murderer's simple identity...when the media cowers in fear of reprisal for reporting that truth...the murderer becomes not only the number one center of attention but sometimes even the victim...with the true victims now sadly being relegated to second place.

What a sad commentary on today's America when pronouns and firearm untruths... especially regarding school shootings...are media forced upon a gullible public. Maybe now one will understand why the Second Amendment remains so important, and also why the implementing of simple solutions to stopping school shootings is something that can no longer be ignored. Focus people focus...focus not solely on who the shooter was and why they did what they did...those are things that sadly cannot be undone...but focus more on the implementation of the aforementioned simple solutions post haste for the next school shooting...and know there will be more...might just well hit home. Case closed.

Abortion...Too Far to the Right is Also Wrong

Recently I wrote an article regarding abortion titled, A Heartbeat and a Ruling...Planned Parenthood Ain't Happy at All...and this article followed two previous abortion articles I'd written, Remove Northam...But Not For A 35-Year Old Photo and New York's Descent Into Hell. These three articles addressed not only abortion in general but reiterated my support of what's called the “Heartbeat Law”...in fact I've been saying such a law was needed in all 50 states for well over a decade. And while some on the left claim this law was solely “designed” to give the Supreme Court an opportunity to overturn “Roe v. Wade” nothing could be further from the truth as precedents regarding abortion has already been set, and the newly seated conservative justices have stated they will not overturn precedents.

So why then am I writing yet another article on abortion when, as stated, I support the “Heartbeat Law” as well as supporting the justices alluding that they will not overturn “Roe v. Wade”...because the “Heartbeat Law” as written in certain states...Alabama (who effectively banned abortion altogether), Georgia, Ohio, and Missouri for example...I believe...have crossed a Constitutional as well as a morally wrong line in denying a woman an abortion in the case of rape or incest.

How so...rape and incest are violent crimes perpetrated against innocent women, and by denying these women the right to an abortion even after a heartbeat is detected actually transfers a modicum of guilt and shame onto the already traumatized victim. And while some will say that the victim of rape or incest should have immediately reported it to the police, and where in turn the “morning after” pill could be given to prevent such a pregnancy from ever taking hold, what these folks forget is that many in today's society still think both acts are somehow the fault of the woman...the victim...which most assuredly it is not...and thus they must live with the consequences...live with the consequences even in cases of gang rape.

And these judgmental sorts also forget that many times the trauma of either such act is so all-consuming that the victim either fears her rapist returning to rape her yet again or has been so mentally violated as well as being physically violated that she tries to put such happenings out of her mind in the hopes that by not thinking about it, it never happened... that is until she can no longer physically deny the truth. And more times than not that truth happens well past the six week time frame for an abortion in those above mentioned states. Also, not to be forgotten is that to carry such a violently ill-conceived child to birth is a constant reminder for these women...these victims...that their perpetrator's crime...even if they do end up in jail...sees in such children a living testament to the wrong done to them from which they can never be allowed to escape or heal.

And something else being overlooked is that many times victims of rape and incest are but children themselves... children now being forced under certain states version of the “Heartbeat Law” to carry to term and give birth to a child not only conceived in violence, but a child who will be but a few years younger than their already extremely young selves. 

Simply, children having children never works out well for any parties involved.

So while legislators and governors in some “red states” are working to pass strong anti-abortion laws similar to that of Alabama...laws that will not only become “Heartbeat Laws” but laws they mistakenly believe will aid in the overturning of “Roe vs Wade"...what seems to be left out of the political discourse is that Alabama's new law shows no compassion whatsoever for those pregnant through the violent and criminal acts of rape or incest. How so...Alabama's version of the "Heartbeat Law" law allows abortion only if the mother's life is in jeopardy...period. And with no exceptions for rape and incest Alabama has now stated, as per the provisions of its law, that any doctor performing an abortion on someone pregnant for more than six weeks is guilty of a "Class A" felony which carries a minimum sentence of 10 years and a maximum sentence of up to 99 years in prison no matter the circumstances of how said woman became pregnant.

Draconian mindset of the very worse kind...Alabama should be ashamed of itself for even its own citizens say their lawmakers have gone too far. In fact, according to a late 2018 statewide poll, only 31% of Alabama residents were in favor of an abortion ban that lacks a rape and incest exemption, meaning 69% wanted said exemption put into any abortion law that Alabama was to pass...and as we know they did not.

So with Missouri now becoming the eighth state to enact a “Heartbeat Law” this year alone, some other states are seeing the abortion timetable quite differently with Utah and Arkansas voting to limit abortion to the middle of the second trimester, while most other states are continuing to follow the standard set by the Supreme Court’s “Roe v. Wade” 1973 decision...a 7-2 decision stating that a woman's right to choose an abortion was protected by the privacy rights guaranteed by the Constitution's Fourteenth Amendment, thus allowing abortion in other circumstances besides just the life of the mother.

But on the flip side of the “Heartbeat Law” there's the “blue states” who are going as far to the left as some conservative states are going to the right with New York...the east coast's very own Sodom and Gomorrah of sorts...passing just this past January a measure that guarantees in its state a woman's so-called “fundamental right” to an abortion at anytime during her pregnancy and for nearly any reason. Yet a February 2019 Rasmussen poll found that only 21% of New York voters support the “fundamental right” nonsense with 66% of voters opposing the law, including 44% who otherwise identify as “pro-choice.” Sadly, in New York it now seems that the minority rules what with butcher knives, suction vacuums, and infanticide being New York's new norm.

And so the abortion divide continues on with two key questions remaining due to a time differential existing between states regarding up until when a pregnancy can be terminated...with the first question being what exactly constitutes the basis for the six week abortion cut-off date?” And the second question...what of those states whose legislators truly believe that life begins at conception...how do they justify their allowing abortion as per the time limit set by the "Heartbeat Law"?

The answer to the first question is that for states like Alabama...who just happens to call their version of the “Heartbeat Law” the "Human Life Protection Act"...it's the Biblical argument that life begins at conception and that the Ten Commandments dictates “thou shalt not kill.” This reasoning assures...via their newly passed law...that no abortion, except to save the life of the mother, would take place in their state as most women don't even know they're pregnant until after the now six week cut-off date...and that includes the victims of rape or incest no matter they be an adult or a child.

Now comes the tricky part as the answer to the second question must answered with yet another question. And here is also where religious dogma must be separated from the tangible truths of both scientific and medical fact as well as from the legalities regarding what is and is not legally deemed murder. So while Alabama and the other states now following their lead will not allow abortion past six weeks gestational time except for the life of the mother, what about states whose lawmakers do see a fetus as a person from the moment of conception and yet still allow abortion up to the sixth week of pregnancy no matter how the child was conceived...seems those states want it both ways as in they can legally kill and get away with it up until to a certain point in time but not thereafter.

Enter now the most true of scientific facts regarding human life...without a beating heart a human being is simply not “alive” for without a beating heart we simply cannot live let alone survive outside the host's body...as in the mother. However, once the heart of that which will sustain a baby throughout its life actually starts to beat... which is usually between days 18 to 21 after conception and becomes detectable by six-weeks gestation...we are now dealing with a human being no longer just a “clump of cells” as some pro-abortion sorts call what will in nine months time become a living breathing baby.

And as previously stated with many women not knowing they're pregnant that early on...especially child victims of rape or incest...most do know by the time they've missed a period or two at which point a heartbeat is well established and would thus prevent them from having an abortion in those states with a “Heartbeat Law"...states that by using their Constitutionally given right of authority have now narrowed down and restricted "Roe v. Wade" to the nth degree while not actually overturning it. And they're doing so via what many perceive as a cold-hearted and unreasonable abortion cut-off date.

But is this really fair to rape and incest victims...I think not...and not only for what I stated earlier regarding guilt being shifted onto the victim, but because now the religious beliefs of governors signing said law and legislators constructing said law sees them basically turning their backs on not just what the majority of their state's citizenry want, but also on what has always been our country's accepted tenet of separation of church and state.

A true conundrum indeed.

So while abortion still remains legal in all 50 states, we'll continue seeing mostly “red states” passing some of the most restrictive abortion legislation in decades all in the hope of setting up court battles that could, in the end, redefine abortion access in the United States. And while those states will see their cases being legally challenged as well as being tied up in the courts for years, there is always this question, did those states with a "Heartbeat Law" actually have the authority to implement such a law? State authority is one thing, but so is the fact that even if such cases reach the High Court the justices could refuse to hear said cases sending them back to the very states they originated from. Or the justices could start chipping away at Roe v. Wade on their own while not overturning it outright, thus keeping all-important precedents in place.

And so the abortion debate is far from over while always being ignored is the fact that contraception "before" is the answer to unwanted pregnancy instead of abortion being used as an "after" form of birth control.

But no matter which side of the abortion debate you're on...and know abortion is not a cut and dry issue as some on the far right and the far left make it out to be...my personal pro-life belief is that abortion must always be an option in cases or rape, incest, the baby being so medically compromised it cannot survive outside the womb, and if the mother's life is in jeopardy. And while I might not agree with you my reader's views regarding abortion I still respect that we are free to agree to disagree and do so without contempt.

#MeToo...A Misguided Wolf in Sheep's Clothing

While some will not like what I am about to say others surely will...but say it I must and let the consequences fall where they may.

So let's start by asking what exactly is a victim? As per the Merriam-Webster dictionary a victim is one that is “injured, destroyed, or sacrificed under any of various conditions” or “one that is subjected to oppression, hardship, or mistreatment.” And a survivor is one who “continues to function or prosper” despite having been a victim. But when one considers themselves a victim of unproven and made up allegations, I believe, one is neither a victim nor a survivor, but is a liar for one cannot be a victim of something that never happened.

And what is a liar but an individual who makes “untrue statements with intent to deceive” or one who takes actions in order “to create a false or misleading impression”...all of which Dr. Christine Blasey Ford willingly did when she accused now Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her back in their high school days.

Also, remember that if Dr. Ford truly wanted her accusation to remain anonymous as she, the media, and her Senate protectors all claim, she would not have sent the now infamous letter to her congresswoman or to the newspapers...at least not without including definitive proof that the sexual assault by a then teenage Brett Kavanaugh actually took place. Dr. Ford took the risk of her allegation being proven false, which thankfully it was, for the learned doctor forgot that allegations are but words without substance and that truth in the end will usually prevail.

And in Dr. Ford's wanting to hide behind anonymity means she either wanted to take the cowards way out...as in someone unwilling to stand by their accusation hoping that said accusation itself would do the intended damage...or she was using the calling card of someone with both a plan and an agenda in mind. And personally I believe that in Dr. Ford's case it was a combination of the two, and I wouldn't doubt if Dr. Ford leaked the letter herself to set in motion her cleverly orchestrated plan of revenge that she felt was languishing way too long on Sen. Dianne Feinstein's desk.

Simply, Christine Blasey Ford lied about now Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh trying to rape her 36 long years ago...after all no one could corroborate her story not even those she claimed were in the house when the assault supposedly occurred or those she claimed she told her story to. And contrary to what some think the only thing this woman is a victim of is getting caught in her own lies now coupled with the fact that she has allowed herself to be used by her fellow Democrats as the “face” of those who lie...but who demand you believe their lie... about sexual assaults that never happened.

In fact, what Christine Blasey Ford and her lie about Brett Kavanaugh did was make a mockery of those women who are true victims of rape or of sexual assault. And by the way, teenage boys trying to “cop a feel” in an effort to get to “first” or “second base” is not sexual assault nor is it rape...bad behavior perhaps but really just teenage boys being teenage boys...most especially when no intercourse or rape took place.

And I know from which I speak for this happened to me... with no rape or intercourse taking place (nor did it in Dr. Ford's case)...no lasting mental harm was done to me... and the incident became as it should be...just one small memory from my early teenage years of a teenage boy being a teenage boy and nothing more. And unlike Dr. Ford, I remember the details...the who, what, where, why, when, and how...but it affected my life in no way at all which means no #MeToo movement for me. Am I stronger than most women...perhaps...but I knew even back then as much as I know now the difference between a boy “copping a feel” and something so much more serious...something called rape.

And really, many of the women now claiming that they were sexually assaulted or raped so many years ago were actually willing participants who probably had the reputation for being “loose” or being “fast” back in their high school days...girls who went to parties and who drank as much as the boys with “copping a feel” or worse being inevitable when one puts oneself in such a precarious position. But now they figure why not add their name to a movement doing, I believe, more harm than good, even though they're doing it just for their 15 minutes of fame or possibly for some sort of misguided and twisted revenge against the boy who dumped them after "copping their feel” and maybe even more.

Now fast forward those very high school girls by a decade or two as they became “party girls” and bar hoppers in their twenties and thirties...young women whose actions and consequences only mattered to them when it became something they could use to their advantage or maybe they see it as a way to do self-penance of sorts for past actions taken now regretted.

And so enters the a fore mentioned #MeToo movement, the Hollywood propelled women's movement initiated by supposedly victimized Hollywood actresses in the immediate aftermath of the Harvey Weinstein scandal... the sex scandal that dominated the media for so many weeks. Drugging and raping or sexually assaulting a woman is indeed a serious crime and Harvey Weinstein should see serious jail time for each case of such that is proven...with proven being the operative word. But dressing like a whore and then going to his hotel room knowing well that to get a coveted movie role means having to “put out” and then willingly...no matter their now claims to the contrary...doing so...is not rape...it's prostituting oneself in exchange for fame and fortune and nothing else.

Serious actions do have serious consequences after all, as does making what one knows at the time is a bad decision. But only bringing something forth years or decades after said self-perceived wrong occurred, is a wrong that is best kept to oneself for if something was grievous enough to cause mental anguish and harm in the immediate hours and days after said incident occurred, it was serious enough to have been told to someone or reported to the police in a timely matter.

And yet so many Hollywood supposed rape and sexual assault incidents both by Harvey Weinstrein and by others were never reported, they lay in waiting until politically needed. And so the Hollywood #MeToo movement was born...a movement started by left-wing Hollywood elite sorts whose public birth was perfectly timed as payback for Hillary's losing the election. And once the movement was born it drew to it not only the fakers and liars, but sadly true victims of rape and sexual assault whose voices got drowned out when #MeToo entered the political arena where it became just a tool to try and take now President Donald Trump down.

And with thousands of women now identifying themselves as victims of rape, sexual assault, and the newest faux-pas known as workplace sexual harassment...a man dare not say a woman looks nice or her dress is pretty while at work...yet few of the woman joining the movement have had the courage to disclose the details or the name of the person responsible for doing them harm...just more accusations with no proof whatsoever to back-up their jumping on the #MeToo bandwagon.

And the nonsense now being spewed by Democrat politicians who are clamoring for votes and by so-called feminists who use in-your-face screaming as their method de-jour for shaming and trying to silence any and everyone who disagrees with their nonsense that any woman claiming to be a survivor must be believed...as in proof be damned...goes against one of our county's most basic of legal principals...innocent until proven guilty. And without the presumption of innocence our beloved America is truly in trouble.

And the left's claim that the reason why many victims and survivors of rape and sexual assault hesitate reporting said incidents to the police is that they are either too embarrassed to do so, that there’s too much exposure involved, that there may not have been enough proof that something happened, or that it could hurt the people they now love. But the most ludicrous reason I've heard to date for not coming forward in a timely manner is that some supposed victims simply feel it's not worth the trouble to do so.

And to the true victims of rape and sexual assault who do not file a report with the police in a timely manner, and to those women who waited years or even decades to come forward...you must shoulder some of the blame as well. Obviously you are not to blame for being a victim of rape, but you are guilty of willingly allowing your fear via your silence to enable your rapist or assaulter to possibly assault or rape again.

Silence is not always golden especially in true cases of rape or sexual assault.

So while the #MeToo movement continues to grow in number via demonstrations, protests, and hashtags that have gone viral...the truth is that this movement is truly misguided as it's being fueled on mostly by women who either were too cowardly or too scared to speak out or who just out-and-lied about being victims of rape. And because of this victims of another kind are now slowly emerging...victims known as our fathers, grandfathers, brothers, nephews and sons...all now being pre-determined by militant feminists to be sexual predators or deviants...males full of “toxic masculinity” they say...never to be believed simply because they are male... foolish female misplaced solidarity to the nth degree based not upon truth but solely based upon which genitalia one has.

Sad isn't it. And with these same militant feminist sorts now trying to shame men into accepting guilt for things that never happened shows just how foolhardy the #MeToo movement really is.

And yet within the fabric of American society their are those who work hard to promote gender equality between the two...yes the two...sexes...most especially in the workplace. But know we cannot ever allow ones gender to be the sole factor in deciding who is guilty and who is not guilty of the crimes that are rape and sexual assault. And those men being accused of such must be deemed innocent until legally proven guilty for the right to “due process” must be protected at all costs. And not to do so will surely hurt collective womanhood in the long run for “justice must never be served through unjust means”...with the court of public opinion only helping to drive forward the so-called war between men and women...a war of the media's doing.

And women who see their joining an internet movement as a badge of courage simply because they posting the words “Me Too” on certain social media sites are fooling themselves for women...like Christine Blasey Ford...who falsely claim rape, sexual assault, or sexual harassment are doing a great disservice to the above stated true victims of rape and sexual assault. Considering themselves survivors of what amounts to trivial nonsense most of we women have gone through at sometime in our lives...these women actually relish in crying wolf thus allowing the real wolves to dress in sheep's clothing to rape and assault others again and again.

Priorities and provable truths must become paramount if the #MeToo movement is ever to gain true and lasting credibility, and until it does so this movement is really doing more harm than good.

Now let the attacks on me begin...I'm a strong woman...I can take it.
