Our economy...stagnant and stalled
By: Diane Sori
Announced yesterday, the new weekly applications for
unemployment benefits (what’s commonly referred to as the weekly jobs numbers),
came in at a four month high of 388,000...UP 46,000 from 342,000 at the time the
last numbers were announced.
So much for Obama’s phony manipulated numbers from the
previous week's supposed sharp decline.
With California finally reporting its major increase in
applications, saying it now was able to process those delayed from the previous
week (I mean how ‘suddenly’ convenient is that those delayed applications were the
very thing that altered the numbers last week to appear lower than they
actually were), and that those new applications have now negated the previous
numbers and the true numbers are finally being reported.
California...La-Laland...home of the ubber-left was oh so
conveniently behind Obama getting to say that the jobless rate fell to 7.8% on
his watch, dipping below 8% for the first time in 43 months.
Gives new meaning to the words ‘manipulation’ and ‘fix’ doesn’t
it as all of a sudden California didn't have time to process all the
applications when they previously had NO trouble at all...give me a
break.
With applications being the tell-tale sign of the number of layoffs,
meaning when they decline hiring is improving, Obama tried to use these ‘fixed’
numbers for his political gain.
Thankfully enough experts were on to this and yelled loud enough for
California to take notice that they were NOT going to get away with this...hence,
the 'suddenly true count' of applications comes forward.
No matter what Obama and his minions try to pull the simple
fact is that economic growth, which encompasses the number of jobs created,
slowed to an annual rate of 1.3% in the April-June quarter, down from 2 percent
in the previous quarter. And with most leading
economists continuing to say that economic growth will stay at or below 2
percent in the second half of the year the bottom line is that the economy is
NOT growing fast enough to generate much needed hiring or even, as Mitt Romney
said during the debates, ‘to keep up with the population growth.’
Mitt Romney is 100% correct in that as simple mathematics
proves that hiring must be stronger to bring relief to the more than 12 million
Americans who are currently out of work.
Roughly 100,000+ new jobs need to be created each and every month just
to keep up with the working-age population...just to keep up with NOT even
increase to bring jobs to those who have already been looking for work...some
even for years.
"Improvement in the labor market will continue to be
fitful and slow," said Joseph Trevisani, a market strategist at Worldwide
Markets in Woodcliff Lake, N.J.
‘Fitful and slow’...how about stagnant and stalled.
The American people are hurting and hurting bad. While Obama jets off on one of his many
vacations, golf forays, and hob-nobbing ego boosting excursions with his libertard
Hollywood hanger-ons, the American people are out of work, losing their homes,
paying ridiculous inflated prices for gas at the pumps, can’t get decent
medical insurance, our public schools are a mess, food prices are rising, and
the economy just plain sucks...but hey, what do I know as Obama keeps
bloviating that things are turning around and that he just needs more time to
complete what he’s started.
Well I say...when hell freezes over!
Barack HUSSEIN Obama has done more than enough damage to our
economy, more than any modern day president before him, including delusional Jimmy
Carter, and its way passed time for him to go.
18 days and counting...November 6th just can’t
come fast enough for me.
