An Important Read

This is a letter from a US army major (retired) who knows well the situation in Iran, his name is Major Ed Coet. 

  

OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT TRUMP

SUBJECT: PLEASE PAY ATTENTION PRESIDENT TRUMP!!

 

Dear Mr President,

 

We 100% MAGA patriots and longtime “Pro-Trump” supporters are more than just a little bit miffed visa-vie your current Iran policy. We are NOT upset about your attacking Iran so let’s be clear about that. You did the right thing. History will show you did the needed thing as well. We supported and continue to support your attack on Iran for all the reasons that you gave. You saved us and the world from a potential nuclear holocaust. For that we should all be forever grateful. What is upsetting us is your persistent never ending misleading us on the war after the first few weeks since the initial attack. So much so that we have to now wonder if you are deliberately lying to us and if so, why? 

 

First you told us that the war would be over in a few weeks, and we believed you. Then you told us it would be over in a few more weeks, then in another month, and we believed you. Then it was a few more weeks and again we believed you. Then you negotiated an extremely fragile “ceasefire” and then you extended that cease fire twice to achieve deals that you convinced us were about to be achieved but never were. All the while each ceasefire was repeatedly violated by Iran.

 

You told us that we (the USA) controlled the Strait of Hormuz yet the world is suffering because it’s plainly obvious Iran controls it, not you sir. Why else is oil not flowing freely through that straight? Obviously, you don’t have it under control or this wouldn’t be happening. Now you’re telling us that we’ll have a “reliable” settlement that will benefit us if we wait yet another week. WTF SIR?!

 

A deal with an enemy that is so fragmented that you don’t have a clue whether or not whoever you’re negotiating with is empowered or able to enforce any negotiated settlement cannot possibly be resolved. We’re calling BULlSHIT! You’re not being honest and leveling with us on this war. We’d have to be a special kind of stupid to not recognize this truth that is now a blinding glimpse of the obvious.

 

The only thing that you have been consistent about with respect to this war in the past few months is your continuous never ending bullshit regarding the negotiations. You have been consistently and constantly wrong about that and it’s unnerving. We cannot nor should you expect us to tolerate this kind of deceit and dishonesty anymore. It must end. You must end it. It’s your duty to do so. You owe us that. 

 

The big mystery is why you are lying to and misleading us, your strongest supporters? Do you want us to not trust you anymore? Do you want us to turn on you? If so that doesn’t even pass the common sense test. Why in the hell are you doing this to us Mr. President?

 

You have to know that no deal made with Iran can be trusted. Iran has lied and broken every single deal they have ever made. I defy you to name one that they have kept. They simply cannot be trusted and therefore ought not be negotiated with especially since you don’t really know who you’re negotiating with. Iranian authority and power in Iran today is the IGRC. They are evil personified. They want war! They don’t care what that means to their people. They don’t care about their people. They kill their own people by the thousands so why would you think they care? Stop this foolish negotiations farce. You’re wasting valuable time that is only benefiting the IGRC. Why can’t you see that? Everyone else can.

 

Now listen carefully Mr. Present because this is what we, your MAGA supporters, want you to do for us. We want you to end this war once and for all. End it fast with us as the victors. We must win! Annihilate and destroy anything and everything in Iran that allows the IGRC to fight and wage war or to rebuild and reconstitute their forces, munitions, weapons, and military equipment (land, sea, air and space). Leave only the basis essentials that innocent Iranians need to survive. Start building a plan that includes our friends and allies to help those innocent Iranians to rebuild their lives, with freedom, after the war is ended by our military force. But for now we want you to bomb them (the IGRC) into oblivion and end this war. 

 

We need you to do it quickly. 

 

We want you to get the nuclear dust if it’s possible to retrieve it and if it’s not possible or if it’s too risky to get it out then we want you to send our biggest bombers and our biggest bombs to blow that nuclear dust so deep underground that they can’t possibly recover it. Then we want you to bring our troops home and let our unsupportive, defiant, and ungrateful European allies figure out how they can get “their own oil” through the Strait of Hormuz. That’s their problem, not ours. Let them solve it. We have our own oil.

 

That’s what we the American people, your strongest and most loyal MAGA patriots want you to do Mr. President and we want you to do it NOW. No more procrastinating. Then get busy on winning the midterms which is critical and crucial for us. 

 

Now do you understand Mr President? Decide, do you work for us or not? If you do then please get on with it. Thank you for paying attention to this sir.
