Fact Three: the MAGA concept will still drive the discourse in 2028, but with an unexpected twist in that the one deemed by most to be Trump's presidential heir apparent...meaning Vice President JD Vance...might not be that heir after all. Why so...because (I believe) two better candidates have already been spoken about in Republican political circles, as in Florida's Governor Ron DeSantis, and our current “Secretary of State” Marco Rubio.

While the November midterms are fast approaching, and with Republicans needing to keep both the House and Senate so that President Trump's last two years in office can truly bring to fruition his “Make America Great Again” agenda...aka MAGA...I truly believe it's never too early to also start thinking ahead to the 2028 Presidential Election.
And while some folks say let's get through the midterm election first, I respectfully disagree if for no other reason than the fact that there are no absolutes in politics. After all, it's not a given that Republicans won't see the Democrats controlling the House and/or the Senate in 2026, nor is it a given that Republicans will hold onto the presidency in 2028.
And in regards to the presidency, remember this very important fact...as per the 22nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, ratified in 1951, a U.S. president can only serve two terms in office whether said terms be consecutive or with a break between each term. Simply, this amendment is the safeguard against the concentration of power in the executive branch.
Donald Trump cannot legally run for the presidency again nor can he run for vice-president no matter what anyone says. Why so...because Amendment 12 clearly states that “no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President,” thus eliminating any outside chance of Trump ever becoming a vice-presidential candidate, not that he even wants that position. Why so... because Trump could become president again...for a third term...if something were to happen to the then sitting president where he was unable to finish out his term.
So
where does that leave we Republicans in regards to both 2026 and
2028? First this fact...the
2028 election might well become a referendum on continuing or not
continuing with what has become known in some political circles as
the “Trump era.”
And second...with two+ years still to go before the next presidential
election we are already starting to see certain “of
name” politicians
in both parties...with fringe party individuals included as
well...trying to start lining up big money donor support; trying to
garner important name recognition while trying to project a semblance of
momentum before primary season even begins.
And know Democrat presidential hopefuls are doing all of the above as well.
But before I discuss some likely Republican 2028 presidential candidates, here are five facts that while not absolutes are still worth considering in what will surely be November's highly contested mid-term election, as well as 2028's presidential election.
Fact One: History has shown that when a successful now termed-out president of either party does leave office that their party still has a chance of holding onto power in the mid-term election that is unless...and this is key...the economy itself is then entering into or is in an actual downturn. And this is the time when many people seriously start asking themselves are prices at the pump now above or below what they were when the sitting president and his party took office...are the prices of groceries rising, falling or at best remaining stagnant...and is “affordability” still a “dirty word,” or is it a word to now be heralded?Remember, with a majority of folks making political decisions with their pocketbooks in mind, especially if the economy seems weak at or around election time, it is quite possible for the opposition party...here being the Democrat party...to not only gain momentum but actual political ground, maybe even a full House and Senate sweep in 2026, and then a presidential sweep in 2028 again based solely upon the state of the economy.
And in both elections herein lies the point where some might have to make the difficult choice between pocketbook and country, and for far too many Americans it's a choice not easily made.
Fact Two: at around the time of the midterms, many folks also start revisiting the “social issues,” to see how the candidates meld with or differ from their own personal and/or religious views, while at the sane tine comparing said issues to previous campaign promises made, promises kept, and promises thrown by the way side as well. Simply, is the candidate themself and their party ideology actually worthy of two or four more years in power courtesy of their vote, or is it now the time for what they might consider to be a much needed political leadership change.
And the word “change” itself leads directly into the 2028 presidential scenario for some semblance of “change” will already have come courtesy of 2026's mid-term election results, whether the results be for better or worse depending on one's party affiliation. But no matter the scenario other facts simply cannot be ignored.
And why are they better candidates...because while Vance is a good, decent, and honorable man who proudly served in our nation's military, many believe, as do I, that he has not shown himself to be presidential material. Basically a newbie to the Republican party, JD Vance only switched parties and became a Republican when he first announced his candidacy for the U.S. Senate in July 2021, and only then became Trump's VP pick on the recommendation of Donald Jr., who saw strategic political advantages in using this young man...who once was an avowed “Never Trumper”...to help sway younger voters into voting Republican.
And while that ploy worked to a degree, Vance...a man too far to the religious far right who does not fully embrace our founding concept of “separation of Church and State”...has done nothing of political substance except being the president's “yes man” ...the resume of many former VPs...to warrant his being the leader of both the United States and the “free world.”
Simply, JD Vance, in my opinion, lacks political substance and actual leadership experience, something that can only be garnered with time and application. And besides, many times vice-presidents have turned into one-term presidents...“Read my lips,” George HW, Bush comes quickly to mind... making them basically “lame duck presidents,” which usually hurts their party in the next election cycle go-round.
Fact Four: Now, on the other hand, history shows that governors tend to make both the best presidential candidates and the best presidents. Why so...because as their state's elected head, a governor is able to show the voters how their executive experience, crisis management skills, and budgetary successes resulted in tangible all around achievements for their state's citizens. And two-term Governor Ron DeSantis' overall handling of the now and forever to be “Free State of Florida”...along with his recent spearheading the big win for Republicans regarding the redistricting issue....has seen him resonating well with voters nationwide.Fact Five: And while six “Secretaries of State”* became president up until the mid-19th century... no modern day president has been “Secretary of State” or “National Security Advisor” But that could change courtesy of current “Secretary of State” Marco Rubio who ranks right up there with Henry Kissinger as one of the hardest working, most diligent “Secretary of State's” ever.
And with Marco Rubio's 14-year experience as a U.S. Senator...as opposed to Vance's mere 18 months...and being both the Chair and the Vice Chair of the “Senate Intelligence Committee,” and also chairing the “Senate Small Business Committee,” Rubio is very well versed in government operations, and was the only one of Trump's cabinet picks to be unanimously approved by both Republicans and Democrats alike...bipartisanship in action...something our country desperately needs.
And when you compare both men's resumes to that of JD Vance, for the sake of our beloved America I hope President Trump lets “We the People “ decide who will head the 2028 presidential ticket even if if means having an open convention...even if it means JD Vance on his own sees the writing on the wall, and decides not to run.
Our
country deserves leaders who shine...let's give her that starting in
2026 by setting her on the right track for 2028. Case closed.

And while the name Barack HUSSEIN Obama might NOT be
on the November ballot, know that his politics and policies...both domestic and
foreign...sure the hell are.
Simply put...jobs for Americans be damned...jobs in
exchange for votes will become both this administration's and any future Democratic
administration's mantra as taking jobs away from LEGAL Americans will well fulfill their goal of having our economy
limp along until it finally just gives out and crashes.
And
what of America's enemies...especially the enemy called ISIS...an
islamic...YES
islamic...enemy that our civilized minds still cannot totally
comprehend. And it took ISIS to
finally get Obama's attention of sorts but only after they beheaded two
innocents
of our own...and only after 'We the People' showed outward revulsion,
anger, and disgust. Finally addressing in his usual limited and
superficial sort of way the savagery of those
who are his brethren...this most miserable excuse of a president still continues to allow ISIS to relish in beheading Christians
and other minorities as he, for the most part, remains silent or
gives mere lip-service to all the atrocities they do.
Almost I say because the social issues that some so
like to shove in our faces...and by some I mean those who claim they're on our
side but who are anything but...are NOT now nor must they be on November's
ballot. Remember when you vote on November 4th that God is NOT on the ballot...turning
America into an Evangelical theocracy that is so wanted by some, and I only say some, is NOT on November's
ballot...abortion is NOT on November's ballot nor is the 'so-called' gay
agenda. Putting these things and other so-called social issues on November's ballot will NOT turn the Senate RED...will
NOT start to turn America to the right...will NOT bring us back to the law of
the Constitution as our Founders intended, but instead will divide us even more
and help to keep the Senate BLUE. Wednesday, April 2, 2014
"There will be additional challenges to implementing the law."
- Barack HUSSEIN Obama on announcing that ObamaCare met its enrollment deadline numbers
My, my how convenient is this...7.1 million Americans have signed up for ObamaCare by the March 31st deadline and they only needed 7 million to do so. So it seems they added in the .1 for extra good measure I guess.
Like we didn't know that would happen...just like Obama winning the election in 2012 before the first vote was even cast. The fix was in from day one...or in this case from the October 1st launch date of the anything but functioning HealthCare.gov enrollment website.
The needed numbers...covering enrollments in both private health care plans via HealthCare.gov and enrollments in the individual websites offered by 14 states and the District of Columbia...were 'supposedly' met with a website still NOT totally functioning and still without security or a payment portal to make your payments to because one hasn't been built yet...the needed numbers were met even though most enrolling went on Medicaid...the needed numbers were met by counting duplicates and incomplete applications...the needed numbers were met by...well you get my drift.
Now let's get this straight...as in the truth for a change...7.1 million Americans did NOT enroll in ObamaCare...7.1 million Americans might have signed onto the HealthCare.gov website but signing onto the site to peruse the exchanges does NOT a purchase make, especially when there's NO portal to make one's payments to. NO premiums paid means the individual will be in for a rude awakening when they go to the doctor and find out they do NOT have the insurance they thought they bought.
And so the joys that are the hallmark of the failure known as ObamaCare continue on.
Now comes the details...trumpeting the first open enrollment period as a major success for NOT only meeting but surpassing the 7 million projected by the Congressional Budget Office needed to make ObamaCare viable, one has to wonder just how many of the previously uninsured actually are now insured...and true to form NO one knows at this time as the Obama administration will NOT release those numbers. But independent sources are claiming that only 27% of those who have secured a plan through the ObamaCare exchanges were previously uninsured. And only 53% of that 27% paid their first premium (I wonder how they did that when there's NO payment portal in operation) when 86% of those folks paid their premiums when previously insured. And this is a biggie...4.5 million previously uninsured have now signed up for Medicaid in states that expanded that program under ObamaCare...and guess who ultimately picks up that bill...we taxpayers do.
NOT good folks...NOT good at all.
Now you know why Obama will NOT release any numbers as jugging the
books has become a fine art for this administration...paper shifting of
figures at its best...on par with juggling the numbers of the monthly
jobs figures in their favor.
More details...after all the devil's in the details...details like even after one has eventually paid their initial premium there is still NO guarantee that the following months premiums will be met by those enrolled. And how will ObamaCare be sustained when a good percentage of those signing on to ObamaCare are Medicaid enrollees...meaning the government pays for their healthcare with our tax dollars and they pay NOTHING...as they happily become Democratic voters in the process. And what about the percentage of actual enrollees who are young and healthy being lower than the numbers needed to continue to fund this abomination.
LIES...LIES told that on the last day open to enroll one
million Americans 'suddenly' out of the blue decided en-masse to turn
on their computers and click onto HealthCare.gov to sign-up...LIES told
about people deciding at the last minute to dial into call
centers...and LIES told about folks at the last minute deciding to stand
in long lines at assistance sites all across the country. One million
Americans without health insurance just happened to do all this on the last enrollment day...the exact
one million number short just the day before. And these out-and-out LIES and hiding of ObamaCare's true numbers are the bane of the party loyal for why else are party members rushing to propose fixes as they increasingly distance themselves from this nightmare of an anything but health care plan and from the man whose name it bears. And with the mid-term elections looming large, the Democrats up for re-election know damn well that yesterday's bravado and pats on the back are NOTHING but show, for the truth about the sign-ups
and the cost factors involved in sustaining
this nightmare NOT to mention what it will do to the medical industry
as a whole, still threatens to overshadow any initial victory Obama declares as
ObamaCare remains unpopular across the
board. And knowing that the Republicans will keep hammering non-stop at all
the law’s inherent flaws, the Democrats know that the disaster that is
ObamaCare will help Republicans win back the Senate in a big way.So hurry up November 4th for on that day both America and 'We the People' win and Barack HUSSEIN Obama finally loses...and as the saying goes, "payback is indeed a b*tch."
Saturday, November 23, 2013
But it was 'Prince' Harry Reid, after claiming that it
was the Republican's blocking of Robert Wilkins...the Obama wanted appointment to
be a judge on the powerful D.C. Court of Appeals...that led to this remark
made before the vote was taken, "Republicans have routinely used the
filibuster to prevent President Obama from appointing his executive team or
confirming judges," Reid said on the Senate floor. "We're burning
wasted hours and wasted days between filibusters. I could say instead we're burning
wasted days and wasted weeks between filibusters. It's time to change. It's
time to change the Senate before this institution becomes obsolete."Monday, November 11, 2013
Obama and the Democrats…NOT happy campers for sure
By: Diane Sori
Tsk, tsk…the media anointed ‘savior’ of us all is nervous…very very
nervous as the fallout from NOT only the disaster of the ObamaCare
website roll-out hits home, but also because he’s now facing the ire of
millions upon millions of Americans getting their ‘once happy with’
health insurance policies cancelled after being promised that they
would be able to keep them. And add in that now infamous apology that
was anything but…I mean an apology for getting caught does
NOT equate to an apology for one of the worst laws…one of the highest
taxes…ever to be imposed on ‘We the People’…and you have one very
nervous and very unhappy man.And now…and rightfully so…the credibility, competence, and above all else the honesty of the Obama presidency is being called into question all across America, with the oh so deserved fallout being that his job approval ratings are tanking fast…tanking as his numbers hit an all time low…falling into the mid to upper 30% range depending on whose poll you use.
But NOTHING makes our supposed ‘savior’ more nervous than the fact that
come November 2014 all 435 House seats and 33 of the 100 Senate
seats…including 21 now held by Democrats (with 5 incumbent Democrats
retiring)…are up for grabs. Up for grabs while Barack HUSSEIN
Obama’s own Democratic Party is starting to turn on him and distance
themselves from both him and his namesake of a health care law.So with Republicans doing the proverbial ‘happy dance’ as they’re coming out on top after the ObamaCare fiasco…a fiasco they have been warning the public about for years…and even after having been erroneously blamed for the recent government shutdown and for failing to defund ObamaCare outright during the last session of Congress…they now have a great chance of…if they play their cards right and continue to keep the issue of ObamaCare’s failures and Obama’s big LIE in the forefront of the news…NOT only keeping the House but taking back the Senate as well…thus rendering Barack HUSSEIN Obama politically impotent as his ‘lame duck’ presidency becomes his well deserved dreaded reality. And as an added bonus the Republicans could finally send ‘Prince’ Harry Reid, his Botox Queen Nancy Pelosi, and Obama’s Congressional little lapdog Debby Wasserman Schultz packing.
The Democrats know this even though they’re NOT actually admitting it…at least NOT in the media. But above all else they know ObamaCare is
their political death knell so much so that some of their own…like Mary
Landrieu of Louisiana who this week will introduce legislation calling
for Obama to make good on his promise that those who like their policies
can keep their policies and Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia who is
working on a measure to put off the requirement for everyone to obtain
insurance for a year by delaying the fine for non-compliance…are now
jumping off the ObamaCare sinking ship and joining with Republicans in
calling for its delay, especially of the individual mandate section
which to date Obama seems NOT willing to compromise on.However, being caught in the mother of all LIES…a LIE he cannot LIE his way out of…just might give Obama pause to reconsider his stubbornness in that matter…that is if he can put his narcissism and political posturing aside for a bit and stop his mouthpiece Jay Carney from saying ridiculous statements such as, “Every one of the Democrats who voted for this and believed in it and fought for it, and with the president, defended it against the constant assault by Republicans and outside opponents, continue to believe in it, and believe it’s the right thing to do”…maybe then he can see that ObamaCare needs some major overhauls if it is to succeed at all, otherwise it will surely implode from within.
And why…because even reconsidering the individual mandate does NOT alleviate the fact that ObamaCare’s main premise is fundamentally flawed and monetarily unsustainable for ObamaCare’s success relies solely on the participation of young people carrying the load for older Americans. Healthy young people do NOT have ‘throw away’ money to buy health insurance they most likely will NOT use strictly to support NOT only said older Americans…the ones who actually need insurance…but also to carry the burden ‘the sponges’ of our society place on our current health care system.
Most young working people are smart enough to know that ObamaCare is the straw that will break their financial backs. And they're NOT only smart enough to know the financial pitfalls of ObamaCare and how it affects their wallets, but they’re also techno-savvy enough to know that a website costing six-figure millions+ of our taxpayer dollars to create that fails on day one signals further problems down the road with the concept and the program itself…problems that can and most likely will implode ObamaCare from within in a matter of time.
Problems like what happens when only the sickest Americans go into the ObamaCare exchanges (remember they cannot be turned down), with the cause and effect being that the number of claims and the cost of each claim will rise, and in turn premiums will have to be raised on the healthy young people who are funding the program to begin with.
NOT good…NOT good at all for the young healthy Americans who might have once considered signing onto ObamaCare will NO longer do so for as those who buy into the exchanges become older, sicker, and more expensive to carry, many carriers will leave ObamaCare altogether...leave because only the sickest who cannot afford to go elsewhere and those who get subsidies will sign on, and that scenario CANNOT monetarily sustain ObamaCare for very long.
So as we lead up to the 2014 mid-terms…the sad reality of facts and numbers that tell the truth about ObamaCare might just be the thing that turns the Senate back red…that is as long as the Republicans do NOT let Obama’s BIG LIE go to waste. And while folks continue to be nervous that they’ll be the next one to get an insurance cancellation notice in their mailboxes, guess what our miserable excuse of a president has been doing…jetting off to Florida for a weekend of golf when he should have been working on a way to get those cancelled back their policies…after all he said he was going to work on it during his apology 'song and dance' routine.
But then again that was a LIE too.
