Op-ed:
Standing By Stephen K. Bannon...For Now
By: Diane Sori / The Patriot Factor / Right Side Patriots on American Political Radio bit.ly/2cpXuRd

Donald J. Trump is the president-elect, thankfully, and now with his transition team in place...a good team I might add...Trump is starting to fill key cabinet positions in his administration. And he’s picking good people all around so far what with his original choice of Mike Pence as his Vice-President, and his having Newt Gingrich, Rudi Giuliani, and Dr. Ben Carson on the transition team. But while Trump has every right to fill his cabinet and key advisory positions as he sees fit sometimes one must learn from the mistakes of the past that others have made.

Mistakes and controversies over people picked...remember Obama’s top adviser and puppet master is Iranian operative Valerie Jarrett and Hillary’s top adviser, confident, and BFF is Muslim Brotherhood operative Huma Abedin...both deeply shrouded in controversies...both whose true allegiances remain questionable to this day. And while Trump has solid voices from the past in the running for top cabinet positions, his choice of Stephen K. Bannon as the White House Senior Council and Chief Strategist falls right into the controversial pit...a pit we had hoped with Trump’s election would have been filled-in if you will.

Now don’t you die-hard riders of the ‘Trump train’ from the beginning think I am turning on Donald J. Trump... know that I most assuredly am not...but I did say from day one that once Trump locked up the nomination I would support him (which I have done) and if elected that I would hold his feet to the fire but in a way to help him not to criticize or condemn him.

But before I focus on Trump’s controversial pick for the above said positions...and before I propose what I consider an alternative not to replace Bannon but to be an adjunct to Bannon and why I do so...let’s digest exactly what Bannon’s duties as White House Senior Counsel and Chief Strategist will be. First, and know that at times these positions do go hand-in-hand, both appointments afford Bannon unlimited and unhindered access to the president where in his role as chief strategist, Bannon would offer strategy advice on both domestic and foreign policy issues to President Trump. Also, as part of his duties, Bannon would advise Trump on what legislation to focus on, when it would be advantageous to negotiate with Congress over a possibly contentious bill, and when to stand strong against Congress...as in when Trump should use the presidential power of the veto.

And while Bannon would also serve as a bridge of sorts between the Trump administration and those wanting updates on legislation, judicial nominations, and strategy decisions, Bannon would not serve as the Chief of Staff... that position has now been filled by Reince Preibus... which mean that in the Trump administration Steven K. Bannon would not control hiring and administrative decisions, Preibus would.

As for Bannon being chief counsel, this position simply means that he would advise President Trump on all legal issues concerning both the president and his administration while he would actually have no statutory powers and would produce almost no public documents under his name.

Now as for Stephen Bannon’s peccadilloes, if you will, and why he is a raising red flags amongst some not only in the establishment but even by some in Trump’s extended circle, and of course by those on the kumbaya left. But before I get into those specifics let’s get rid of the always pops up at election time and immediately thereafter trash...and in this case trash that Bannon is a racist or an anti-Semite. And why get rid of it...simply because there is no proof positive of either...just hearsay, innuendos, and the words of his ex-wife said in nasty divorce proceedings.

Instead listen to facts...documented facts like Stephen K. Brannon was both a friend and business partner of Jewish Andrew Breitbart and partnered with Jewish Larry Solov after Breitbart died. When Bannon was Chairman of Breitbart News, Breitbart News stood strong with the pro-Israel community against Obama’s very bad nuclear deal; Breitbart News defended Israel against the anti-Semitic BDS movement whose ultimate goal is the economic destruction of the Jewish State of Israel; and Breitbart News gave avowed Zionist Aaron Klein a platform to speak and advance the cause of the Jewish people. In fact, Yossi Dagan, chair of Israel’s Shomron Regional Council and a major player in Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud Party, published an open letter confirming Israeli support for Stephen K. Bannon’s appointment.

Need more proof of what Bannon is not...how about what my hero and friend Pamela Geller had to say about Stephen K. Bannon, “I am fortunate to say that I have known and worked with Steve Bannon ever since the tragic passing of Andrew Breitbart. While he was at Breitbart, he would ask me to write articles on pressing issues — usually several times each week. Longtime readers who are deeply familiar with my work know that I am a fiercely proud Jew and unapologetic Zionist. As long as I have known Steve, he has been an unabashed supporter of Israel, and of those of us who fight against Jew-hatred and racism. Unequivocally.”

If Pamela Geller, someone I have the utmost respect for...supports and has confidence in Bannon then so do I.

And while the uber liberal Southern Poverty Law Center claims that Stephen K. Bannon is a racist on the “extremist fringe,” they have absolutely nothing to back that up with except their own words which describe Bannon and his followers in the so-called 'alt-right' as “a loose set of far-right ideologies at the core of which is a belief that ‘white identity’ is under attack through policies prioritizing multiculturalism, political correctness and social justice and must be preserved, usually through white-identified online communities and physical ethno-states.” Well without proof...and know they have none...they are doing nothing but blowing hot air and spewing the rhetoric of those who cannot accept the fact that Donald J. Trump will be the 45th president of these United States.

So let’s put the nonsense that Stephen K. Bannon is a racist and anti-Semite to rest, and let’s deal with some of the believed to be legitimate issues concerning this appointment, including that Bannon only became part of Trump’s presidential campaign this past August, and only worked directly hands on with Trump during the waning weeks of the campaign. Others who previously held those positions in question were long-time friends and/or advisers to the president they served, but what people forget is that some people just ‘click’ with another person and this seems to be the case between Bannon and Trump. What is the true concern here should not be the length of time Bannon was on the campaign trail or part of the Trump campaign hierarchy, but should be if Bannon becomes a mere sycophant... yessing Trump on everything instead of advising Trump on proper courses of action.

Another concern is that Bannon...also a movie producer behind the hit ‘American Sniper’...was a Harvard Business School graduate (actually a plus when dealing with economics) who worked as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs before he co-founded the ‘Government Accountability Institute’...whose mission statement is to "investigate and expose crony capitalism, misuse of taxpayer monies, and other governmental corruption or malfeasance" and then to partner with mainstream media outlets to disseminate those findings to the “broadest audience.” But really folks, the truth about those leading or wanting to lead our country should be told... skeletons and all...and let ‘We the People’ decide if it’s relevant or not to the position they want to hold.

And immediately upon Bannon's appointment, CAIR (the Council on American-Islamic Relations) chimed in with its executive director Nihad Awad saying of Trump’s appointment of Bannon, "the appointment of Stephen Bannon as a top Trump administration strategist sends the disturbing message that anti-Muslim conspiracy theories and White nationalist ideology will be welcome in the White House." To that I say to CAIR...as politely as I can...too damn bad as the American people have had quite enough of your muslim whining, terrorist supporting, and oh so anti-American actions. Case closed on that one.

And the above concerns are it folks...some of the main reasons why some are whining and stamping their feet...especially those on the left...about Bannon’s appointment as senior council and chief strategist to President-elect Donald J. Trump. To all this I say give me something of true substance... bet you can’t...and maybe then I’d join in the Bannon-bashing party but until then I, too, stand by Trump’s appointment of Stephen K. Bannon to the above stated positions.

However, I do have a bit of advice for Donald J. Trump... constructive advice that might actually work to both his and America’s benefit and it concerns the positions itself not the person chosen. Simply, as the chief strategist, Bannon would offer strategy advice to President Trump on both domestic and foreign policy issues, so wouldn’t it be best to split that position into two or possibly three positions having Bannon be chief strategist on domestic issues concerning the economy (after all he is a Harvard Business School graduate)... having let’s say Sheriff David Clarke as chief strategist on domestic security issues and policing matters...and having a military man, say Lt. Col Allen West, as chief strategist on foreign policy as most foreign policy involves military decisions to some degree.

This allows the chief strategist position to be more focused and detailed on specific areas of concern instead of it being too broadly all-encompassing which I believe does not serve the president nor the American people well as solutions to problems or concerns are usually found in the details...details that might be too much for one individual to weigh through and handle as undoing the damage Barack HUSSEIN Obama has done to this country will surely take a unified team effort.

Now as to the position of senior counsel...a position that means advising the president on all legal issues concerning him and his administration ranging from policy questions, to legal issues regarding signing or vetoing legislation, to ethical questions and financial disclosures, amongst other things. The senior counsel also oversees judicial selection, handles presidential pardons as well as lawsuits against the president in his role as president, and is the White House contact for the Department of Justice.

Now with Bannon not being an attorney and really having no experience with the above stated duties, and while I know being an attorney is not a prerequisite for this position, I do believe it would be best if the position was at least shared with one, possibly with the president’s personal attorney. And why...because this pairing would avoid any and all concerns that might arise over not just attorney/client privilege but with appearances of impropriety as well that might arise between the counsel and the president.

So while I personally believe that the positions Stephen K. Bannon was appointed to would be better served with others more experienced at least working alongside him, and while Bannon will surely shake up the traditional roles of senior counsel and chief strategist, we owe it to President-elect Donald J. Trump to at least trust his judgment on this appointment for if proves to not work out Bannon can always be replaced. And I also know that if the liberals, the muslims, the haters, and the media are against him then Stephen K. Bannon might indeed very well be the right man for the job.

The Blame Game Begins
By: Diane Sori / The Patriot Factor / Right Side Patriots on http://americanpbn.com/

"You're not the presumptive nominee until you hit 1,237 [delegates] - that being the case, I'm just stating the obvious."
- RNC Chairman Reince Priebus after Donald Trump's Indiana win

And so Reince Preibus' words will sadly come to pass as Donald Trump will soon have the delegates needed to become the GOP nominee...on the first ballot no less...much to the chagrin of we true conservatives everywhere.

And in no uncertain terms now comes the blame game...and rightly so...for 'reality TV star' Donald Trump is a 'sound-byte' candidate and nothing more. Beating out more qualified, learned, and experienced candidates, Trump...actually the consummate politician never mind his words otherwise...secured the nomination by stirring up the anger of the masses and by feeding into their hate of all things 'establishment'...a term...as is 'RINO'...media fabricated to divide and fracture the Republican party...which they successfully have done.

But beating out the others puts it mildly for Donald Trump's big mouth bullied, name called, and out-and-out lied about those running against him, all while he flip-flopped on both the major issues and the social issues...telling the masses what they wanted to hear not what he truly believed. And he was aided in his quest by the free nonstop media coverage he was afforded, whether it be good press or bad press it was press none the less and it helped keep his name in the forefront of the public's collective mind. And it did so while his name and antics brought in viewership which turned into ratings, which translated into dollars for the media whores both networks and talking heads alike... networks like what proved to be the anything but 'fair and balanced' FOX News with its talking head Sean Hannity...Hannity who turned his nightly show into 'The Donald Trump Hour' so much so that one has to wonder if he was actually on Trump's payroll.

But even with Trump's media love-fest...a love-fest not unlike the media's twice anointing of Barack HUSSEIN Obama as the supposed savior of us all...the media alone is not the sole reason why Donald Trump will be the Republican nominee come July...there is equal blame to go around...equal blame if not more so that must be laid at the same feet of those who cost Mitt Romney the presidency back in 2012...and that is the ever-vocal Evangelical Christian movement who deems all they say and believe to be gospel truth...gospel truth that must be followed by all or else.

And or else can be both witnessed and attested to when in 2012, the Evangelicals (and of course I do not mean all) found Mitt Romney not to be their brand of Christian tea because he is a (gasp) Mormon...and with them deeming Mormonism a cult not unlike islam, Romney became the enemy. "Better a muslim we know than a Mormon we don't know" became the Evangelical battle cry as they urged their fellow Evangelicals to either stay home and not vote or vote third party...in effect handing the presidency to Obama. Remember, Romney lost by about two to three million votes...the exact number of Evangelicals who stayed home and did not vote.

And now the Evangelicals have done it again, but this time they have done so by thumbing their nose at the very Bible they so love to quote and say they live by. Voting for a man who not too long ago supported abortion...including partial birth abortion...and a man who throws wives away if they dare to age and can no longer appear on his arm as the epitome of a 'trophy wife,' Donald Trump himself is the poster boy for greed, selfishness, vanity, and narcissism for the words humility and humbleness...so very important in the Evangelical movement...do not exist in his vocabulary...for Donald Trump is all about himself, and his all-consuming never-ending quest for winning...winning at all costs no matter the price paid both figuratively and otherwise.

But why did the Evangelicals abandon their faith and fellow Evangelical candidate Senator Ted Cruz...a man of principal and high moral values...for a man (I believe) of little or no true faith...are they questioning their beliefs as a whole or is it that some are simply more conservative in their beliefs both politically and religiously while others are more moderate, especially on the social issues. Are hell and damnation no longer the once feared outcome for those who do not tow the biblical mandated line or has modern society reached a point where hell is no longer feared because they believe hell already exists here on Earth...I mean do some Evangelicals see hell in the guise of a political arena not to their liking...not to their beliefs.

And while many Evangelicals do not religiously go to church...and know they like to chastise others for not doing so...many still identify themselves as Christian, as witnessed by all the brouhaha over gay wedding cakes, pizza parlors, and a Supreme Court ruling over the legalities alone of same-sex marriage. For this they united claiming the wrath of God will be on those who condone their self-perceived abomination called homosexuality...for this they united as one voice...yet now that voice is silenced with the older more religious folks more politically conservative and voting so, while younger Evangelicals are showing to be more politically moderate...more with the times if you will...more in line with the Trump ideology of live and let live...basically liberal light.

'Make America great again'...the Trump mantra repeated ad-nauseum...rings loud and clear with the younger Evangelicals for they feel the Republican party has abandoned them. Seeing the mistakes of the past becoming their likely future they are rightfully scared... scared that the bills of others will come 'due' in their lifetime if conservative rhetoric rules the day. So why not try the 'other side' even though the 'other side'...as in Donald Trump...is now just masquerading as one of them. They find his 'sound-byte' policies, no matter that they lack in substance, both logical and inspiring, while believing promises that cannot be fulfilled...and letting what they believe to be a disconnect between Washington and the rest of the country guide their choice of candidates...no matter that this logic is illogical at best.

"Believe me...believe me"...Trump repeats over and over and the Evangelicals believe him because they no longer have faith that the Republican hierarchy will do their bidding, choosing instead to believe lies and at best half-truths because they are angry and disheartened. And history has shown time and again that this type of thinking does come back to bite one...eight years of Barack HUSSEIN Obama should be proof enough of that. And the Evangelicals having allowed Trump's lies coupled with his bully tactics to become their new truth, and with their overwhelming support for this Democrat dressed in Republican clothing...'Made in China' clothing I might add...proves that they indeed have allowed history...2012's history...to repeat itself.

But while the Evangelicals and especially the media are to blame for Trump's presumptive Republican nomination they are not the only ones for that blame must also be shared by the angry white working-class voters who are hurting economically...and who are vocally espousing that anger for all to see...as they are losing jobs to both illegals and to the outsourcing of jobs to foreign countries. But what they do not understand is that while Trump's economic policies might work well in the private sector of high dollar business dealings, they will not work well for the business of government and especially not for the middle class.

With Trump proposing that the way to stop American companies from going overseas to take advantage of cheap labor, what he calls China's illegal export subsidies, along with taking advantage of many countries lax environmental standards, is to place a 35% tax...raising tariffs actually...on goods coming into the U.S. But what Trump doesn't say is that by doing so prices will not only be raised on said goods coming into this country but will correspondingly rise...to a tune of 10% to 15%...on 'Made in America' goods as well, thus not only slowing down but actually negating any recovery...albeit a very small one...we currently have. And why...do the words 'trade war' ring a bell. And what Trump's economic proposal actually does is indirectly subsidize U.S. manufacturers via the setting of higher prices...higher prices which would result in across the board inflation which then in turn would lead to even higher unemployment numbers, and that in and of itself would hurt the angry white working class and the poor even more.

And yet these angry folks turn a blind eye to these facts for their anger is what drives them forward and again, like with the Evangelicals, anger will prove to not serve them well as Trump's economic policies actually benefit the rich like himself with the middle class and the poor be damned.

Remember, free trade not higher tariffs benefits poor and middle class Americans, but that is not what 'silver spoon' born Trump is about for this man has no idea what it is to be middle class let alone poor.

And let's not forget one other group that is directly responsible for the rise of Donald Trump, and that is the so-called 'establishment' who have because of their inactions allowed a non-conservative...a Democrat pretending to be a Republican...to (presumptively) secure the Republican nomination. How Lincoln and Reagan must be turning in their graves.

Starting with the fact that once Republicans secured control of both the House and the Senate they then did not a thing of substance to stop Obama's agenda from moving forward...including their watching the debt ceiling being raised, watching questionable executive order and after executive order being signed and implemented, and watching as Congress sat back and allowed Obama to turn America into a laughing stock while he lead from behind on the world stage. And saddest of all is that while Republicans won many local and state elections, they forgot that winning elections also means following through and getting things done as well as keeping promises made.

And while these are the four main groups who are directly responsible for Donald Trump steamrolling over all the other Republican candidates...candidates with actual tangible and workable policies not just media driven sound-bytes...I think FOX's sole Trump critic, Charles Krauthammer, said it best when hearing that Trump had won Indiana, "What are we just witnessing happening tonight is one of the major American parties changing its political ideology, radically," he said, rightfully adding that, "It was... for the last 50 years, going all the way back perhaps to Eisenhower, the conservative party in the country. As of tonight it's being led by a non-conservative populist."

And how right Krauthammer is for now we have a Republican candidate whose strings are being pulled by his true liberal and progressive ideals while the angry amongst our ranks refuse to see that they have been conned by the ultimate con man...Donald J. Trump himself.

Op-ed:
Amnesty by Executive Order
By: Diane Sori

"You cannot simply issue decrees, we don't rule by decree in this country."
- Charles Krauthammer FOX News political commentator

In a few days Barack HUSSEIN Obama will deliberately tear our country apart as pay-back for the Election Day shellacking he and his party received.

Granting legal status to roughly 4.5 million what he refers to as 'undocumented immigrants'...who in reality are ILLEGAL criminals who need to be sent home as many of them are guilty of serious criminal acts beyond just their ILLEGALLY...will soon have their names added...along with tens of thousands of others just like them...to the Democratic voter rolls and help to keep Democrats in control of the government for years to come. And these people will NOT just be added to voter rolls but now will also be able to have their names added to the currently falling union membership rosters...helping to keep Obama's hand in the union pot so to speak...as well as guarantee their undying loyalty to the party by adding them to the welfare and other government subsidies rolls as well.

By Obama's granting what he calls 'legal status' to ILLEGAL-alien parents of U.S. born (citizen) children, as well as expanding his 2012 executive order known as the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)...which granted deferred action (delaying or halting deportation) to illegals who met certain requirements and criteria and who came to the U.S. before the age of 16 and arrived before 2007...to now include those who arrived before 2010...translates into Obama willfully going against the wishes of two out of three American citizens.

Now essentially suspending deportation for almost a full half of the ILLEGALS currently residing in this country, the Republicans are mad as hell over what should be a collaboration between Congress and the president, but has now become Obama going it alone via 'his pen and his phone' instead of giving the newly elected Congress a modicum of a chance to try for a solution to the ILLEGAL problem...a solution that is as simple as enforce the laws already on the books.

In fact, RNC Chairman Reince Preibus has called on Republicans in the House to stop Obama's actions through the budget process. Remember, the Republicans still control the House even with this sitting Congress so they can defund in full the monies needed to implement Obama's plan thus rendering it null and void. And a growing number of House Republicans...led by Rep. Matt Salmon of Arizona...have already signed a letter to the Republican hierarchy that insists the party include language in the upcoming 'for vote' spending bill to prevent this most anti-American of all presidents from taking any and all unilateral action on immigration.

And this what amounts to amnesty...for amnesty is what Obama's executive order will truly convey...will take jobs away from already struggling American workers...and really does make a mockery of the Obama heralded jobs numbers that are anything but truthful, for the fact remains that one out of four American workers is currently unemployed. The 5.9 percent current unemployment figures touted by the Obama administration does NOT take into effect those who've stopped looking for work, along with those relegated down to part-time employees because their employers could NOT afford to cover them insurance wise thanks to the abomination that is ObamaCare.

And who will be hurt the most by Obama's circumnavigating Congress with this amnesty action...none other than his blind-following sheeple including low-skilled black American workers, especially young black men who are more likely to be part of the low-skilled labor force than are white men of the same age. Of note is the fact that black worker's wages have been the slowest to rebound from the recession, and when you add in that what few low-skilled jobs there are available will now be taken away from them by these newly Obama-made LEGAL ILLEGALS, black Americans are starting to see the truth behind the man who claims to be one of them.

Finally seeing that these people will be granted the work permits, photo IDs, and Social Security numbers needed to allow them to take said jobs and benefits away, black workers will now be forced to compete for those very jobs that these ILLEGALS would NEVER have been considered for before...so it's NO wonder that blacks have NOT taken all too kindly to Obama's recent round of stump speeches.

So I guess it's adieu to Obama's phony love fest for his black brethren as his upcoming action will prove once and for all that he does NOT care about them either...now if they were muslim that would be a different story...just saying.

And as far as the legalities of what Obama is planning on doing let it be known that executive ordered amnesty is indeed a violation of the Constitution for NOWHERE in our founding document...the document that is the law of our land...does it grant the president authority to issue an executive order whose sole purpose is to unilaterally overturn a law or laws currently on the books. In fact, Article II grants the president only the power to execute laws, NOT write or change laws simply because he cannot get Congress to march in lock-step with him. And since Article I vests all lawmaking power to the Congress, that means that Congress and Congress alone can grant amnesty per se. Remember, amnesty is NOT a pardon which presidents do have the authority to do and so love to do before leaving office.

So the bottom line is that if Barack HUSSEIN Obama does indeed follow through with this threat...and make NO mistake this executive order is both a threat and a vengeful act of payback...it would be just one more criminal and highly ILLEGAL act to add to the long and growing list of impeachable offenses that this sitting Congress is just too afraid of the race card to act upon...and that is the saddest thing of all.
