Op-ed:
On Trump's Middle East Peace Plan
By: Diane Sori / The Patriot Factor / Right Side Patriots on American Political Radio

“It is only reasonable that I also have to do a lot for the Palestinians, or it just wouldn’t be fair.”
- President Donald Trump on his recently released Middle East Peace Plan

Last week President Trump with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu standing by his side, unveiled his long awaited Middle East Peace Plan. And while there are good intentioned aspects to this plan...a plan mainly brokered by Trump's son-in-law and adviser Jared Kushner...there is one aspect that I personally will never agree with, that being Israel giving up even one inch of its precious land in order to attain peace. And while this plan is a hoped for pathway...a jumping off point if you will...to a Two-State Solution, the only saving grace in my eyes is that under the leadership of Mahmoud Abbas the Palestinians will not go along with this plan thus exposing to the world the Palestinian leader's true want...as in of all of Israel...a Jew-less Israel...and nothing less. Was what would be a tenuous peace at best President Trump's media marketed “Deal of the Century's” true objective...possibly...or was this Trump's calling the Palestinian leader's bluff...something that seems more likely. I'll get into that in a bit.

Surrounded by 22 Arab nations...a few now Israel's friend, most still Israel's foe...giving up either God-given land or land garnered as the fairly gotten spoils of war is not now nor is it ever a wise idea. And while our president is trying to be fair in regards to a people who've been playing the victim card since being invented by Yasser Arafat in the 1960's to further his PLO cause...those very people have found an ally in Jordan's King Abdullah who under Trump's plan would become the Palestinians caretaker of sorts...which is akin to the wolf guarding the hen house. Why so...because it's King Abudllah himself who could have ended this conflict years ago by welcoming back into Jordan the very people who hold his country's citizenship and passports. Even his own father, the late King Hussein, admitted there were no Palestinians, there were only temporarily displaced Jordanians.

Was President Trump aware of this...I don't know. But Jared Kushner most likely was but decided to take a gamble with fingers crossed for luck I suppose...a bad judgment call if nothing else or is there a method to this madness. And madness it is for trading land for peace has been proven throughout history not to work out in the long run, and I do not believe it will work out now even with certain caveats being placed upon the land Israel would be turning over...land that will more than double the Palestinian territory and provide for a Palestinian capital in East Jerusalem. In fact, President Trump stated that we would open an embassy there when a Palestinian State is officially declared.

A Palestinian State...how those words do not sit well...for I believe such a state has no right to exist for it would be a state born to placate a basically non-existent people. And besides, on November 29, 1947, the U.N. passed a resolution regarding British called Palestine stating that said land was to be partitioned between Arabs and Jews... the Arabs turned it down and thus Israel... the Jewish State of Israel...was born.

And know that for better or worse such a Palestinian State is this plan's hoped for ultimate goal...or is it...for creating a nation for a made-up people...a people born of hate for the Jewish people coupled with a misguided want for the Jewish homeland... is not what one would think is a good thing. And while under this plan, as it's currently written, Israel would remain in control of security for both the Jordan Valley and the newly designated Palestinian lands, at least for the foreseeable future, know the land that Israel would be giving up is now being propagandized as but a swap...a swap for Israel remaining in sovereign control of its own rightful and legally existing settlements already in the West Bank. But even that comes with caveats of sorts for at the same time Israel gives up their land they're also facing a four-year ban on new construction on the very land they have sovereign control over. So not kosher in my opinion.

Yet the fact remains that no matter how said swap is packaged and sold, what's being downplayed is Israel's basically surrendering East Jerusalem for as per the plan it would become the capital of a Palestinian State. And this specifically includes the part of East Jerusalem made up of Abu Dis, Kafr Akab and half of Shuafa, thus seeing Jerusalem... which Israel assumed complete administrative control of after the Six-Day War...being divided instead of both the East and West sections remaining both part of the whole and the Jewish State's capital alone. Remember, the plan's saying that Jerusalem remains Israel's undivided capital simply means West Jerusalem does.

This is "the last opportunity they will ever have," so said President Trump...I say this is the so-called Palestinians last opportunity to force and secure a division in a city that must never be divided.

Jerusalem as a divided city...no matter the deals good intentions...actually harkens back to Israel's founding when in 1948, biblical Jerusalem was divided in two. And while Israel, as per U.N. mandate, was given control of the western section of Jerusalem and held said control from 1949 to 1967, Jordan was given control of Jerusalem's eastern section...the very section that includes the sacred old walled city containing both sacred Jewish and Christian holy sites. But when Israel finally re-annexed East Jerusalem back into Jerusalem proper after their winning the Six Day War, Israel said Jerusalem would never be divided again. But this “Deal of the Century” does just that using the old U.N. boundaries to acquiesce to the U.N.'s demand for a Two-State Solution...to make East Jerusalem the capital of a non-existent people's state.

And besides East Jerusalem, Israel is giving away the non-Israeli settlement areas in the a fore mentioned West Bank as well as the Gaza Strip and areas to its south, with those would be Palestinian lands being connected by a series of tunnels and bridges. But I say tunnels and bridges that would afford easy access for terrorists and other unsavory sorts to enter Israel proper no matter how said access points were reinforced or guarded.

And even with President Trump stating that acceptance of the plan would lead to $50 billion in new commercial investment in now what would be Palestine and that if “executed well” it could create one million new Palestinian jobs, being overlooked is the fact that this plan also gives the Palestinians time to meet the criteria for autonomy...criteria including their formally recognizing Israel as the Jewish State as well as their denouncing terrorism... basically giving these people a four-year time frame to start acting like civilized men. But how can those who have for generations been indoctrinated from birth into a culture of Jew-hatred suddenly change their mindset in but four-years...simply they cannot thus leading me to believe that this plan was but a time buyer until either Mahmoud Abbas or King Abdullah is gone, at which time the so-called Palestinians could return to their rightful homeland...Jordan.

So, was this plan designed to fail in order to expose the truth about the so-called Palestinian people? I believe it was for why else would the plan have been preemptively rejected by Palestinian leaders...why else would Chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat say the plan was but “copied and pasted” steps that Netanyahu wanted to see implemented, adding that, “It's about annexation, it's about apartheid.” Why else indeed. Again the answer lies within the very words of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas who immediately dismissed President Trump's plan as a “conspiracy” calling it “dead on arrival,” and that it was “impossible for any Palestinian, Arab, Muslim or Christian child to accept” a Palestinian state without all...both East and West...of Jerusalem as its capital. Makes me wonder just when did Mahmoud Abbas became the Christians spokesman...ever so sarcastically said.

Now consider this point as well...a spokesman for United Nations Secretary General António Guterres said the U.N. position regarding Trump's Peace Plan was that it defied numerous Security Council and General Assembly resolutions. “The United Nations remains committed to supporting Palestinians and Israelis to resolve the conflict on the basis of United Nations resolutions, international law and bilateral agreements and realizing the vision of two states - Israel and Palestine - living side by side in peace and security within recognized borders, on the basis of the pre-1967 lines,” were his actual words said. Notice the last four words “the pre-1967 lines”...as in before the Six-Day War...again shows that the U.N. sides with the Palestinians and wants Israel returned to its former what would be easily compromised borders.

In fact, United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, one Nickolay Mladenov, said that Israeli annexation of any part of the West Bank would end the possibility of resuming Israeli-Palestinian negotiations toward a peace deal, once again harkening back to Israel's pre-'67 borders.

Both President Trump and Jared Kushner had to know this would be the U.N.'s reaction beforehand as the U.N. has never vacillated from either position. And both had to know that the Palestinian reaction to their plan would as unusual be violence and disrespect.

And while Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, and the UAE... countries no longer Israel's foes...all issued statements welcoming Trump's plan as a starting point to peace, all their statements had certain telltale words which can best be summed up with the Saudi's words. “The Kingdom reiterates its support for all efforts aimed at reaching a just and comprehensive resolution to the Palestinian cause” and “to move forward the peace process to reach an agreement that achieves legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.” Missing from here and the others statements is what about the rights of the Israeli people to live as they alone see fit...to do as they alone wish to do in their God-given ancestral homeland.

And even with Egypt saying it will go along with the plan if it's adopted, I bet they're not too happy with even more Palestinians living along their border...a border with the Sinai Peninsula where Egypt has enough problems with parts of it now being a terrorist stronghold...they sure don't need Hamas supporting Palestinians adding to their problems.

So what was the reaction in Israel herself to a plan that while it supposedly sees Israel getting “overriding security responsibility and control over entire territory from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea” as per U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Freidman, it still places Israel’s identity as both a Jewish and democratic state in jeopardy for it gives what are a made-up people not only Gaza and the majority of the West Bank, but East Jerusalem as its capital as well. Simply, Trump's plan was greeting with a politically mixed reaction at best what with the Palestinian leadership, as previously stated, wanting no part of a plan they claim was both drawn up unilaterally and negates their belief that the Palestinians have the “inalienable right to self-determination,” while Israeli's from both Netanyahu's Likud Party and Gantz's Blue and White Party are at least happy with the fact that the White House took the “unusual step” of getting a sign-off and plan approval from Benny Gantz before being publicly revealed, thus avoiding Trump's plan being seen as a political maneuver to aid his friend Benjamin Netanyahu in the upcoming March election.

But for me Joel Rosenberg, co-founder of the Alliance for the Peace of Jerusalem, might have revealed Trump's plan's true intentions with his words, “Seeing three Arab Gulf leaders at the ceremony, he (Trump) just might have succeeded in threading the needle.” I guess “threading the needle” is better than not threading it at all especially since set-in-stone benchmark conditions must be met by the Palestinians if said plan has even an inkling of a chance of succeeding. But if giving these made-up people East Jerusalem as its capital is its true objective then this particular plan remains a "no go" to me.

Sorry BiBi, sorry President Trump, if and only if this is the plan's true goal...and while I will always support and stand by you both...I cannot abide surrendering any part of Israel's ancestral land ...especially surrendering to those wish were all Jews dead. But if this plan indeed was designed to show the world that the Palestinians are not really serious nor interested in peace...than it was a gamble worth taking. After all, it's well known that leopards never change their spots...I doubt a non-existent people would do so as well

Netanyahu...Keeping Israel the Jewish State
By: Diane Sori / The Patriot Factor / Right Side Patriots on American Political Radio

Israel...the now and forever Jewish State of Israel...the land God Our Father gave to his chosen people...the Jews. Israel today...a country literally risen from the ashes of six million dead...a land rightfully mandated by U.N. law to be the Jewish homeland. Yet it's a land never seeing a true day's peace for the islamic wolves at her door continue to salivate as they not so patiently wait to lay claim to land that was never and will never be theirs.

Israel...not only America's staunchest ally in the Middle East but in the world. Israel is also the very country we have the strongest military to military alliances with. Israel...a land of prosperity, modernization, and innovation where Jews and Christians live side-by-side as one Israeli people...a people whose borders are breached only by those still wishing all Israeli's...all Jews and Christians...dead. Israel...a country not unlike ours when it comes to the playing of political games for politics is truly also Israel's "enemy within." And that enemy within can clearly be seen in the recent Israeli election...an election that remains in contention and probably will be for some time. More on that in a bit.

And Israel and the United States share much in common as in our core beliefs, freedoms, morals, values, and ideological unity above all else...no matter that our actual systems of government are quite different in that ours is, for the most part, a more cut and dry major two party system where as Israel's government is built by coalition replete with minor party alignments. And our governing differences can also be seen in the fact that while we are a Constitutional Republic, Israel is a Parliamentary Democracy with its having no formal constitution per se. And yet some key functions of a constitution are filled by the 1948 Declaration of Establishment, the Basic Laws of the Parliament, and the Israeli citizenship law of 2013...a law which allows every Jew to become a citizen of Israel, pretty much automatically.

Also, our three branches of government...executive, legislative, and judicial...are somewhat different as well. Briefly, our executive branch is headed by the president while Israel's is headed by the prime minister with the president being more of a state figurehead. Our legislative branch is bicameral...the House and the Senate...while Israel's is unicameral... as in the Knesset. As for our judicial system, I think Israel's judicial system is better in one specific area as their Supreme Court, which sees justices appointed by a Judicial Selection Committee comprised of all three branches of government, has a mandatory retirement age of seventy. No Ruth Bader Ginsberg types hanging on out of political spite. And while our Supreme Court sees the president nominating justices, who if approved are appointed for life, we also have the U.S. Court of Appeals, District, State, and County courts...Israel does not.

And even though the three main branches of our two governments differ to some degree, they do at the same time basically serve the same purpose. However, it's our party system itself where we and Israel differ the most. How so...we are mainly a two-party system...Democrat and Republican...with some minor and some not so minor parties like the Conservative Party, the Libertarian Party, the Green Party, and a few others picking up the slack... while the Israeli government, as in the Knesset, is currently comprised of 17 political parties with 35 other political parties wanting but not having seats in the Knesset. This translates into the need for coalition building and for alliances to be formed...meaning to become the dominate party in Israel said party needs a total of 61 seats out of the 120 seats in the Knesset with Knesset seats being elected by proportional representation in a single nationwide constituency.

Confusing I do know but it is what it is, and this system works...kind of...in a tiny country surrounded by a pack of ever hungry islamist wolves. And yet it's actually all this confusion that could hopefully still see the great Benjamin Netanyahu remaining Israel's prime minister.

But let me explain by first saying that I truly believe Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is indeed the world's last great statesman...a statesman of the old and honorable school who is now fighting for both his political life and the future of his country all because of a man, a party, and an ideology that fail to understand that neither political deals nor peace can be made with the devil...the devil in this case being any and all wishing Israel gone. And let me also say that by making such deals with the devil Israel will no longer be a Jewish state...for what Hitler started misplaced allegiances and alliances will finish.

So the bottom line before this past Monday's "recommendations" alliances were made was that there was no clear majority winner in Israel's latest election as BiBi's “Likud” party held 31 seats...now up to 32 seats...and his opponent, ex-armed forces chief Benny Gantz's “Blue and White” party held 33 seats with both falling well short of the mandated 61 seats needed to form a majority government. Now also think of it this way...the right-wing “Likud” party is the Republicans and the centrist, leaning to the far left “Blue and White” party (actually a nick-name of sorts for the Kahol Lavan party) is the Democrats...conservatives vs. liberals Israeli-style...and both men and their parties needing to build a coalition of the lesser parties in order to either take over or keep power. But even that seemed to be at a standstill as just last Sunday Israel's President Reuven Rivlin began talks with both main parties about choosing a leader to put together a coalition...a “unity”...government.

It's up to Israel's two biggest parties, the first and second that are almost equal in size, to join forces...so that you together manage and establish a system that brings a stable government,” so said Israeli President Reuven Rivlin just one week ago.

And why a “unity” government...because the center-left has no realistic option numbers wise of forming a government without “Likud,” and a now being talked about third election could lead to political chaos. But remember, a “unity” government is not new to Israel as Israel has seen several such governments...governments where major rival parties worked together to form a workable and successful ruling coalition. Such a coalition was formed in the days leading up to the Six-Day War, and after both the 1984 and 2009 elections.

And Netanyahu is open to forming a “unity” government, in fact he appealed to Gantz to help him "set up a broad unity government, demonstrate responsibility, and pursue cooperation," as well as to allude that he might be willing to accept a power-sharing arrangement with Gantz...something which Yitzhak Shamir and Shimon Peres did in the mid-1980s. But Benny Gantz is not, as he stated that he would only lead or be part of a "liberal" coalition...a secular only coalition which would exclude the two ultra-Orthodox parties...the Agudat Israel Party and the National Religious Party...along with another nationalist-religious party.

Translation: under Gantz's version of a coalition the Jewish State of Israel would, as previously stated, most probably be Jewish no more...surely not with the secular, anti-religious government Gantz is proposing...shades of our very own Democrat party I'd say. And besides, Gantz also fears that a “unity” government with the right numbers and right parties could see Benjamin Netanyahu garnering bargaining power along with the possibility of him alone holding onto the prime ministership.

Benny Gantz chooses to forget that there is a reason why Israel is formally known as the “Jewish State of Israel”... Benny Gantz forgets the six million dead.

So what did Benny Gantz...the man who wants to sellout Israel to a two-state so-called Palestinian solution...do to stop the Reuven Rivlin proposed, Netanyahu agreed to“unity” government from forming? Gantz outwardly and quite maliciously courted the Arab-dominated “Joint List,” which said it was ending its long standing policy of not supporting any of the main candidates for prime minister after any elections. And why exactly is the “Joint List” ditching this their long standing policy...as per party head Ayman Odeh, it's because they must remain focused on their prime goal which is to “bring an end to the era of Netanyahu, so we recommend that Benny Gantz be the one to form the next government.”

Sleeping with the devil, thy name is Benny Gantz.

But even with the “Joint List's” endorsement...and know Gantz got 10 of their 13 possible "recommendations"...he still fell short of the needed 61 votes, nor does it mean that the “Joint List” will finally get to sit with any governing coalition, something they surely expected in exchange for their support. And this new alliance is suspect, in and of itself, as Israel's current leadership is both questioning and investigating this unprecedented increase in voter turnout by Israel’s 21-percent Arab minority...as in Arabs not voting before nor even being registered to vote now suddenly being registered and bused to the polls to vote for Gantz. Shades once again of our own Democrat voting fraud. And it's this busing action alone that allowed the “Joint List” to win 13 Knesset seats, now making it the third largest winner of seats...thus affording an Arab party...a decidedly anti-Netanyahu, anti-Israel party...too much power if you ask me.

And this sudden increase in Arab voter turnout...especially in six key precincts...surely bears the hallmark of outside involvement. George Soros or Barack HUSSEIN Obama perhaps....two arch enemies of Netanyahu who relish in driving the knife deeper into both his and Israel's back.

So that left, amongst but a few others, former Netanyahu ally turned turncoat, far-right former Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman, whose Yisrael Beitenu party secured eight Knesset seats, to possibly be the potential decider. And while Lieberman has reiterated his previous calls for a “unity” government, he has also stated that he would not be recommending either candidate to be Israel's prime minister, leaving one to wonder if Lieberman could “be bought”...if you will...by Gantz as the lesser, in his mind, of the two evils.

And then there's the religious parties representing Israel’s Ultra-Orthodox communities... communities known as "Haredim"...who remain a key factor in this equation, with “Shas” winning nine seats and “United Torah Judaism” winning eight seats. But even if all their votes went to Netanyahu that too still does not bring him to the needed 61 vote either... “close but no cigar” as they say..

So what would happen if a “unity” government could not be formed...if Benny Gantz does not agree to one like Netanyahu has? It simply would mean there will be yet another election “do over” as Israeli's will head to the polls for a third time to chose between the “Likud” party...Netanyahu’s right-wing so-called "flagship party"... the party which rightfully opposes a Palestinian state (after all the so-called Palestinians already have a state and it's called Jordan), the party which rightfully supports "settlement" annexation, and the party which encourages privatization in the economy...vs...Benny Gantz's Blue and White” centrist coalition...a coalition solely created to oppose Benjamin Netanyahu and his “alleged corruption.”

And know that “alleged” is always the operative word for the fraud, bribery, and breach of trust charges brought against Benjamin Netanyahu reek of the same nonsense as Donald Trump faced with the “alleged” Russian collusion charges...as in nothing but a set-up to discredit BiBi before his election as happened with President Trump.

And in an effort to avoid the above stated scenario, this past Monday, President Rivilin had a meeting with both Benjamin Netanyahu and Benny Gantz after he finished consulting with all political parties involved. As it stood at that point in time, Benjamin Netanyahu received 55 “recommendations” to become Israel's prime minister while Benny Gantz received 54 such “recommendations,” meaning that while both men failed to secure the needed majority of 61 out of the 120 Knesset seats, on Wednesday, President Rivlin tapped Benjamin Netanyahu with the mandate to form the new government within 42 days after receiving the final results of last week's election. Especially noted was the fact that the National Democratic Alliance (the Balad party), an ally of the "Joint List," said it did not and would not support the " Joint List’s" position to vote for or support Benny Gantz for prime minister...thus clearing the way for BiBi to remain Israel's prime minister...if said new government is formed.

And while some progress was also made on Monday in the fact that Rivlin said "significant steps" in negotiations over the formation of what will be that new government were made, he made it clear that some "compromises" had to be made on both sides especially since Benny Gantz has stated that he will not serve under Netanyahu...not even as his "second in command"...until he is cleared of any wrongdoing. And to that I say he will be.

So now the task of forming a new government begins.  And to that affect Benjamin Netanyahu issued this statement, wise man and honorable that he is, "I know the only way to form a new government is a unity one.  We need unity to unify everyone and to reconcile the people."

And if a "unity" government cannot be formed, President Rivlin stated that the "opportunity" could pass to the next candidate who has the greatest chance of forming a new government...as in Benny Gantz...or else Israeli's would surely be headed back to the polls for election number three...something no one wants to see happen.

So for now Israel, with Benjamin Netanyahu as its prime minister, remains the Jewish State that God Our Father...and the U.N... intended her to be. And Benjamin Netanyahu's fifth term in office looks promising indeed... and for the Jewish State of Israel's sake...for the Middle East's sake...and for America's sake...I pray it is so.

Economic Prosperity v. War

By: Diane Sori / The Patriot Factor / Right Side Patriots on American Political Radio

In my Right Side Patriots partner Craig Andresen's previous article, One Man Alone is Jordan's Future, he made the case for King Abdullah’s days in power being numbered and that change will come to Jordan and the Middle East...a change for the better...a change where stability and democracy will end the decades long politically manufactured Palestinian conflict.

And Craig is right for history itself dictates that hatred and animosity between peoples can only go on for so long before it either naturally burns itself out or all-out war ignites the flames of possible annihilation. And while the entirety of the Middle East does remain the pyre upon which said war will most probably be ignited...sometimes war is the best of all options for in time war births peace and peace in turn more times than not births prosperity.

And it's prosperity or should I say the lack thereof that is the key component of why today's Middle East is such a mess for one tiny nation alone is the epitome of the proverbial success story...a nation rising strong and powerful upon the backs of six million dead... while the others continue to wallow in both class warfare and abject poverty...no middle ground allowed...where religious fanaticism trumps any semblance of common sense... where religious fanaticism by its very nature actually forbids any economic success...

Economic Prosperity v. War
By: Diane Sori / The Patriot Factor / Right Side Patriots on American Political Radio

In my Right Side Patriots partner Craig Andresen's previous article, One Man Alone is Jordan's Future he made the case for King Abdullah’s days in power being numbered and that change will come to Jordan and the Middle East...a change for the better...a change where stability and democracy will end the decades long politically manufactured Palestinian conflict.

And it's prosperity or should I say the lack thereof that is the key component of why today's Middle East is such a mess for one tiny nation alone is the epitome of the proverbial success story...a nation rising strong and powerful upon the backs of six million dead... while the others continue to wallow in both class warfare and abject poverty...no middle ground allowed...where religious fanaticism trumps any semblance of common sense... where religious fanaticism by its very nature actually forbids any economic success.

And it's that one tiny nation whose steely determination to succeed helped drive its economic engine forward for that one tiny nation's people knew that with economic success all other successes naturally fall into place. And they have...as the Jewish State of Israel is not only an economic success story but a military one as well...for it's Israel who is now the lead tile in a dangerous game of dominoes where only through lasting peace will the other dominoes comprising the Middle East be able to stand instead of toppling over one after another leaving Israel as the last tile standing...the victor in a war that reality dictates only Israel could win.

But war does not have to be the final outcome as peace can actually be attained through economics alone if only certain Arab leaders would realize that both the old and the new hatreds do not serve them, their countries, or their people well. In fact, the continuation of the status quo...including the continuation of the Palestinian conflict itself...will directly lead to worsening economic conditions within the Arab Middle East while Israel's economy alone will continue to grow. And no amount of Arab oil can lessen the burden the people of those countries carry nor can oil be those countries sole economic driver.

And while some Arab leaders are now working to forge lasting economic ties with Israel...Saudi Arabia's and Egypt's leaders are two such key persons...real regional threats from the leaders of Syria and most especially Iran remain. And while the so-called Palestinians are indeed, at least on the surface, the main obstacle to peace, that obstacle is courtesy of the ongoing political posturing by Jordan's King Abdullah who works under the radar against bringing both stability and economic reform to the region. And why...because Abdullah is a Muslim Brotherhood operative and a man who is allowing Turkey's islamic government under Recip Erdogen's leadership to make inroads into Jordan. But most importantly, Abdullah is smart enough to know that if the seeds of capitalistic-style economic growth are planted within his country and spread outward from there the Jordanian people themselves will no longer need nor want him in power thus signaling the end of both his personal reign and the Muslim Brotherhood's regional reign as well.

Now enter center stage Jordan's and the Middle East's sole chance for a real future, and it's via Craig and my friend Jordanian Opposition Coalition leader Mudar Zahran and his proposal of a secular government for Jordan. Mudar understands well that for stability to be brought to the region the Palestinians must be welcomed home to Jordan, their true ancestral homeland. And Mudar also knows that Israel will help him rebuild his country's economy...an economy patterned in a way after Israel...the key to all Middle East economic success...that is once the Palestinian conflict is put to rest.

And while ending said conflict will surely afford important economic opportunities for both Jordan and the Arab countries in general, in turn it will also allow Israel to grow economically even stronger than she already is...thereby assuring she remains the region's economic leader. How so...currently there are over 350 million Arab “consumers” in the Middle East and North Africa who are "off-limits" to Israeli exporters, goods, and services, but once peace is achieved and lasting economic ties are forged Israeli companies will then gain even more outlets for their goods and services...more outlets equating to more economic growth...more economic growth equating to more generalized success overall.

And dare we forget that once the Arab countries start openly importing Israeli goods the BDS sanctions movement against Israeli businesses and goods becomes but a mute point with Europe then falling in line with its reopening trade with Israel. And why...because by doing so it will aid Europe's economies as well...economies now struggling to support the very muslim invaders who have both physically overrun their lands as well placed a great burden on them dollars...or should I say Euros...wise. Remember, Europe is now feeding, clothing, housing, etc., the very folks who wish them all dead...and they're doing so at the great expense of their own people and their economic well being.

Now as for the so-called Palestinians specifically...peace with Israel will definitely bring much needed economic benefits for both the people and a government on the verge of economic collapse, because right now ongoing restrictions on economic activity and on the movement of people and goods between Israel and Gaza and Gaza and the world continues to impose both significant costs and hardships on Palestinian commerce and exports. And with Gaza currently having a 52.2% overall unemployment rate (57.8% in the key demographic ages of 15 to 29), and with the West Bank having a 32.4% overall rate of unemployment, their collective GDP growth has slowed to but a trickle if not coming to a complete halt. Now dependent on promises of foreign aid and foreign investments, even when delivered, always seems to see those monies falling into Hamas' hands in Gaza and into the hands of Mahmoud Abbas' PLO in the West Bank...hands that use said monies predominately to finance terrorist actions against Israel.

Sort of missing the point taught in economics 101 aren't they for economics 101 teaches that when there's some semblance of peace in the world...or even within a given specific region...there’s nothing that cannot be accomplished for with peace comes once unthought of economic partnerships between former enemies now working together to serve both parties well.

And if peace did become reality Israeli companies could provide employment to tens of thousands of currently unemployed Palestinian workers. In fact, Palestinian companies could partner directly with Israeli companies and together start exporting goods to the larger Arab markets. And with Israeli venture capital firms providing much needed financing, support, and the all important know-how to help export Palestinian goods, the region itself would see an increase in economic partnerships. More companies would start joining forces as economic benefits start taking hold if for no other reason than once enemies are now working together towards the common goal of shared economic prosperity.

But what if the hoped for reality of economic prosperity is not allowed to take hold...what if the "ground zero" Palestinian conflict cannot be diffused either through common sense or economic logic...what then? Simply...full-blown regional war replete with massive amounts of collateral damage breaks out.

Why war when the status quo and small skirmishes seem to have become the new accepted norm...because due to a lack of reporting by the media, unbeknownst to most is that back on March 18, 2019, there was a summit of sorts in Syria comprised of the military leaders from Iran, Iraq, and Syria. Meeting to coordinate a “region-wide military undertaking,” the Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Maj.-Gen. Mohammad Bagheri, signed a “comprehensive agreement” of cooperation with his Iraqi counterpart, Lt.-Gen. Othman al-Ghanmi...Iraq...as in the very country we helped free.

And after reaching an agreement to “integrate” the air defense systems of both countries in order to “fend off the challenges facing their respective air spaces and countries”...actual translation: they fear a joint military operation sometime in the not so distant future as the U.S. and Israel...with Saudi Arabia and Egypt possibly taking part as well...join together to finally put an end to Iran's influence in the Middle East. But the most interesting and quite unexpected surprise in all this is that Syria itself was not “integrated” into the joint air defense agreement with Iran and Iraq. And why...because the Russians would not allow it.

So what did Iran do...they secretly met behind Russia's back with those in Damascus to discuss replacing Russian advisers, experts, and equipment with Iranian air defense missile batteries and radar. Not only was this a bit too close for comfort for Israel, but it was also a slap in the face to Russia who has been supporting Bashir al-Assad's government forces against the anything but rebel forces. And to say Russia is not happy puts it mildly, and that's why, I believe, we have not heard a peep from Moscow about Trump's sending two of our war ships to the Middle East.

That and the fact that Putin and Netanyahu have trade agreements already in place... agreements benefiting both countries economically and strategically...agreements neither Russia nor Israel want jeopardized by Iran. And Russia surely knows that if there is war and if they either stay out or actually side against Iran...which in the end I feel will happen...when it is over the U.S. and Israel as the victors will give Russia their much needed Port of Tarsus as a gift, if you will.

And while Iran does not want to see the economic benefits of regional peace President Trump, Vladimir Putin, and our friend Mudar Zahran surely do. And with certain economic incentives now being put into place to hopefully help change the dynamics of Middle East peace-making...maybe even hurrying up said peace-making a bit...the reality remains that economic growth for one side can only in times of peace translate into economic growth for the other side.

So why even risk war and all its destruction and lives lost when economic agreements alone can and do lead to peace...why risk it indeed.

Op-ed:
'A Recognition of Reality'...Part One
By: Diane Sori / The Patriot Factor / Right Side Patriots on American Political Radio

“I told him: ‘My friend the president, you are going to make history.’ Yesterday, he made history.”
- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

It truly was one for the history books...a game changer like none before...when on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at 1:10pm President Trump officially announced that Jerusalem...an undivided Jerusalem...is the capital of the Jewish State of Israel alone, and that our ️embassy will soon move there.

Having the courage and fortitude to rightfully do what other presidents have either refused to do or had the courage to do...Trump sent a powerful message to both the Arab world and the world at large that the knife Barack HUSSEIN Obama had dug deep into Israel's back has now been removed, and that the United States will not be told what to do, when to do it, or cower in fear of threats.

“After more than two decades of waivers, we are no closer to a lasting peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians. It would be folly to assume that repeating the exact same formula would now produce a different or better result,” President Trump said adding that, “Therefore, I have determined that it is time to officially recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.”

See President Trump's full recognition of Jerusalem here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGS7VqwS-vM

And with those words spoken, condemnation against President Trump's announcement started almost immediately, but some stood strong in their support of both he and Israel. In fact, the Czech Republic became the first country to follow suit in announcing that they too recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital. In a statement released by the Czech Foreign Ministry within hours of Trump's announcement, their spokesman stated that, “The Czech Republic currently, before the peace between Israel and Palestine is signed, recognizes Jerusalem to be in fact the capital of Israel in the borders of the demarcation line from 1967.”

And while adding that, “The Czech Republic together with other E.U. member states, following the E.U. Foreign Affairs Council Conclusions, considers Jerusalem to be future capital of both states, meaning the State of Israel and the future State of Palestine,” in no way do those words take away from the fact that they alone broke ranks with E.U. member nations who remain adamant that Jerusalem should not be recognized as Israel’s capital until a final status agreement is reached. In fact, E.U. foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini stated that Trump’s decision was “harmful to the peace process”...words so foolishly endorsed by the U.K., France, Italy, and Germany...the very countries currently at the center of an ongoing islamic invasion.

So why did the Czech Republic willingly jump on Trump's bandwagon...some little known facts are that when called Czechoslovakia they were one of the first countries to stand with Israel and supply them with weapons. Also flying bombing missions over Egypt during Israel's 1948 War of Independence, Czechoslovakia was one of 33 countries to both vote in favor of the 1947 U.N. Partition Plan recommending the establishment of a Jewish state, and was one of the first to recognize the Jewish State of Israel.

Also within hours of Trump's announcement, Philippines' President Rodrigo Duterte sent a message to Israel that he too wanted to move his country’s embassy to Jerusalem and wanted to visit the Jewish State. And both Tanzania and Ghana are on the side of Israel and the U.S. In fact, Tanzania's Speaker of the National Assembly, Job Ndugai, stated during an interview the importance of his country's embassy being in Jerusalem where the Israeli parliament sits, and that he supported Israel’s capital as “an appropriate place” for his country's embassy. And the speaker of Ghana's parliament, Aaron Mike Oquaye, also affirmed his country's support for Israel saying, “whatever Israel wants, we in Ghana will go by that, because that is essentially an internal decision.”

And expect other African countries to soon recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital after Benjamin Netanyahu's recent trip to Africa for the swearing-in of Kenya's new president, Uhuru Kenyatta. While there, Netanyahu also met with the presidents of Gabon, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Rwanda, South Sudan, Botswana and Namibia, and with Hailemariam Desalegn, the Prime Minister of Ethiopia as Israel sees rising African economies as potential new markets. It's even being reported that he signed lucrative arms deals with several of said countries...deals that will help those countries stand strong against pressure to disavow Israel.

Pressure indeed and it's coming from the Palestinian Authority, Hamas, and Hezbollah. In fact, Hezbollah's leader Hassan Nasrallah stated that all Middle East negotiations must be halted until President Trump “walks back his declaration,” which he said was an "undisguised American aggression" against the Palestinian people, which mirrors the words of Hamas' leader Ismail Haniya that, "This decision has killed the peace process, has killed the Oslo [accord], has killed the settlement process” and that this is a "war declaration against Palestinians."

And of course the never silent troublemakers in the Muslim Brotherhood chimed in saying in a statement on the Ikhwanonline.info website that,“The transfer of the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem classifies America as an enemy state and all its interest will be subject to the political position of the interests of the Zionist entity.” And these words in turn led Muslim Brotherhood supporting Congressman Keith Ellison, who is also the Deputy Chair of the DNC, to say, “Recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital is a horrible tragedy.”

No...it's not a tragedy at all for it's not Jerusalem itself per se that is the touch point for all the hate and threats, but it's the 'so-called' Palestinians that are the true issue. And if we put aside Biblical claims that Israel...that Jerusalem...belongs to the Jews...being God's gift to His chosen people...if we ignore the fact that nowhere in the qur'an is there a muslim claim to Jerusalem let alone the name Jerusalem itself while Jerusalem is mentioned 823 times in the Bible (669 times in the Old Testament and 154 times in the New Testament)... and if we deal only in tangible realities, truths, and facts, the question becomes do the 'so-called' Palestinians have any right or claim to Jerusalem let alone to the land that is Israel...I think not.

Why...because the 'so-called' Palestinians are nothing but an invented people...an invented people that were, according to Newt Gingrich, “artificially carved out” of the Arab population of what became 'Greater Syria' after the dissolving of the Ottoman Empire in 1923...a historically correct fact. And why is this correct...because as witnessed by this map...which is one of many maps depicting the actual Ottoman Empire in 1914...there is no country on it called Palestine...no country called Israel...just a generalized region with what is now called Israel...and with what is now claimed to be Palestine... being nothing but a part of the then Ottoman Empire...an empire that became 'Greater Syria' which included now present-day Syria, Lebanon, Israel, and Jordan. And this means that what some call Palestine and what some call its current residents, as in the Palestinian people, were 'invented' about 94 years ago.

Now let's fast forward to when the Jewish State of Israel was born in 1948 up to the 1960s. During that time Israel's battles with her enemies were always referred to as the Arab-Israeli conflict, not the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, because not even the anti-Israel media called Israel's enemies Palestinians...Israel's enemies were always called Arabs. In fact, up until the '67 Six-Day War there was no call whatsoever for a Palestinian State, let alone one in Gaza and the West Bank. And again why...because until Israel reclaimed all of Jerusalem, the Gaza Strip, and the West Bank...as was their right as the victors of war...Jordan ruled over East Jerusalem and the West Bank, and Egypt ruled over Gaza.

Only after losing all to Israel in the '67 War did then PLO leader Yasser Arafat turn those living in said areas into what we call Palestinians, using them as pawns to push forward his anti-Israel/pro-PLO agenda...push it forward to such a degree that he turned down the chance to create a Palestinian nation to garner the “rewards”...as in personal wealth...from playing the victim.

And so battle lines were drawn...the enemy renamed...and the anti-Israel, anti-Semitic media became and remain to this day their flag bearers...flag bearers whose mantra is that militarily powerful Israel is guilty of oppressing and beating down the Palestinian people no matter that Israel sees rockets lobbed into their country almost daily by jihad bases in Gaza and the West Bank...no matter that Israel is surrounded by 22 Arab League countries hell-bent on their demise. Well...maybe that number can be knocked down a peg or two as certain alliances are forming with Israel what with Egypt and Saudi Arabia realizing the common threat they all face...Iran.

So coming full circle back to why all the fighting over a claim by some to have Jerusalem split between those who have a rightful claim to it and those who want it as capital of a country that does not now or ever did exist... these folks must understand that it's a history, borders, a language, a culture, a currency, and other factors that comprise the fabric of an independent country...the very things Israel has had for over 3,000 years are the things that the non-existent country of Palestine and their non-existent people...the Palestinians...never had.

Want more proof...how about the words of some of their Arab own...

1. As per then PLO executive committee member Zahir Muhsein in 1977: "The Palestinian people do not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct "Palestinian people" to oppose Zionism.”

2. The words of former Jordanian King Hussein in 1948: “Palestine and Jordan are one…” His words in 1981: “The truth is that Jordan is Palestine and Palestine is Jordan”*... meaning if the 'so-called' Palestinians want a homeland it already exists and it's called Jordan. The king knew this and never wavered in his words nor hesitated to speak the truth...too bad his son King Abdullah has come down on the wrong side.

3. "The question of borders doesn't interest us...From the Arab standpoint, we mustn't talk about borders. Palestine is nothing but a drop in an enormous ocean. Our nation is the Arabic nation that stretches from the Atlantic Ocean to the Red Sea and beyond it...The P.L.O. is fighting Israel in the name of Pan-Arabism. What you call Jordan is nothing more than Palestine." So said Yasser Arafat himself in 1970.

4. As per noted Arab Columnist Joseph Farrah: “So with Palestine never exist – before or since – as an autonomous entity. It was ruled alternately by Rome, by Islamic and Christian crusaders, by the Ottoman Empire, and briefly by the British after World War I. The British agreed to restore at least part of the land to the Jewish people as their homeland. There was no language known as Palestinian. There was no distinct Palestinian culture. There has never been a Palestine governed by the Palestinians. Palestinians are Arabs, indistinguishable from Jordanians (another recent invention), Syrians, Lebanese, Iraqis, etc.”

And yet the Arabs...and know the 'so-called' Palestinians are just regular run-of-the-mill Arabs...still refuse to see said truth and continue living and acting upon their reality of lies. In fact, after President Trump's declaration that Jerusalem is indeed the capital of Israel, Turkey's Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag added these words to those of the afore mentioned Hezbollah and Hamas spokespeople: “Declaring Jerusalem a capital is disregarding history and the truths in the region, it is a big injustice/cruelty, shortsightedness, foolishness/madness, it is plunging the region and the world into a fire with no end in sight.”

But as always actions do speak louder than words and the only people plunging the world into fire is the 'so-called' Palestinians themselves coupled with fellow Arab malcontents. They know the truth yet perpetrate the hate...they riot and kill in the name of allah and in their quest of wiping Israel off the map. Jews are their enemy and so are Zionists no matter their faith...Donald Trump sided with the Jews so he is now the enemy too...an enemy they've turned into yet another calling card for violence.

And that violence (intifada)...perpetrated by those still living in the 7th century but with 21st century weapons... playing out for all the world to see is fueled on by the recent Arab League's statement that, "The decision has no legal effect...it deepens tension, ignites anger and threatens to plunge region into more violence and chaos." But know that while U.S. missions and Israel herself are witness to angry protests, rock throwing, fires started, and rockets lobbed all because President Trump did the right thing, the fact is that U.S. embassies do belong in any given country's capital. And while it's been 22 years since Congress passed the Jerusalem Embassy Act, that right thing will become a reality for our embassy in Israel.

A reality no matter that the U.N. security council called an emergency meeting last Friday to “discuss” Trump’s decision, because eight countries that do not like us very much...sadly including the UK, Italy and France...sided with the Arabs against Trump's recognition saying it was a breach of international law and U.N. resolutions...which it was not. In fact, after the meeting the ambassadors from France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, and the U.K. issued a joint statement of opposition to Trump’s move saying that, “The status of Jerusalem must be determined through negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians leading to a final status agreement.”

“There are major moments in the history of Zionism: the Balfour Declaration, the founding of the state, the liberation of Jerusalem and Trump’s announcement yesterday,” Netanyahu said in a video posted to social media. You can see that video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HIO_vLsueRc

President Trump did the right thing not just for Israel but for the hope of any future peace and stability in the region no matter that Jerusalem’s status has been a major stumbling block in the many years of on again-off again Israeli-Palestinian peace talks. Trump's announcement reflects the fundamental truth...the fact...that with Jerusalem being the seat of the Israeli government, its courts, and the home of its leaders, it sees other cities who meet that criteria being their country's capital so should it be the case with Israel whether the Arabs like it or not. And know that without a basic truth told an accepted peace will never be possible...especially with fear and threats of violence holding nations for ransom.

And while important Middle-East allies...like Jordan and Egypt...disapprove (but with Egypt said disapproval could be the face it puts on for the public alone), claiming that Jerusalem being Israel's capital would make it harder for them to work with the U.S. to advance our interests in the region and that it would put U.S. diplomats in the region at risk...maybe now the Arabs will finally understand Prime Minister Netanyahu words that, “There is no peace without the recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital,” and move forward from there for one stumbling block can be overcome if peace is what is truly wanted...major resistance in defiance of both facts and truth cannot.

On Tuesday, December 19th in a 'Recognition of Reality'...Part Two, I will delve into documented historical fact and the tangible realities, via archaeological proof found, of why both Jerusalem and Israel itself belongs solely to the Jews.

* Modern-day Jordan occupies 77% of the original Palestine Mandate, and with Jordan's population density being less than 61 people per square mile, that there is plenty of room for Jordan to absorb back into its population its Arab/Palestinian blood brethren...brethren who already make up more than 2/3 of today's Jordanian people.
