On AI...My Opinion

...So with that said the question now becomes, “How can we prevent this scenario from happening or do we simply walk blindly into a viper pit and hope we don't get bitten?” My answer is obviously not about your typical rules and regulations being put into place as both do tend to be broken, but is simply that we...that man...must never leave AI to its own devices. We alone must permanently remain in control of AI's “master switch”... a “pull the plug” so called “kill switch” if you will. Why so...because while AI is currently under our control technology itself will continue to progress at its own given rate, and could eventually reach a point where AI gains control over man to the point where man can no longer pull AI's “kill switch,” thus turning our future into something we had never hoped for nor wanted.

And with human history showing that as human progress moves forward, it does so courtesy of a two-step scenario...meaning for every two steps we technologically move forward, a step backwards seems to have been taken as well. And this simply means that with AI being one of the next technological steps forward it does leave one to wonder what the next step backwards will be...Read entire article here.

On November 24, 2025, President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order launching what he called a mission whose goal is to achieve “global technology dominance in the development of artificial intelligence,” or AI as it's more commonly known. A lofty goal indeed, but unfortunately it is a goal constructed on a foundation of not yet being ready for prime time...sort of like the electric car if you will.

And why...because in my opinion, two compound questions regarding AI need to be resolved first, with question one being, “ Is AI actually the wave of the future as so many like to think, or is AI actually the 21st century roadmap to mankind's possible demise...a demise akin to what was the 20th century's 'Manhattan Project' minus its always deadly radioactive fallout left behind?” And question two is, “Are we now seeing but a futuristic in style, symbolic blueprint of what is hopefully to become our lasting global technical dominance courtesy of Donald Trump's original Stargate Project,* or did Trump take that project and simply morph it into his America’s AI Action Plan,** and now morph it yet again into what he is now calling the Genesis Mission?***

Simply, are all Trump's AI plans, when melded together, but a conglomerate of baby steps taken to fulfill his now second term policy goal of “reshaping the global balance of power, sparking entirely new industries, and revolutionizing the way we live and work?” And while Trump's goal sounds good both on paper and in speeches, the fact remains as to why has AI's technical, ethical, legal, and what some now claim to be societal issues, coupled with its having possible long term negative ramifications in relation to what could be a dangerous concentration of power into the hands of but one individual, not been taken seriously enough before AI was allowed to generate what has become its now daily online discourse.

And let's be honest here, for what some AI experts are now starting to see is a dangerous scenario unfolding...a scenario where, while still in its infancy, power is beginning to coalesce down into the hands of but one individual alone...whether said individual be but man or machine. And these experts know well that when coalescing of this type begins to take hold within the sum of the masses, that the individual in question could well start losing sight of what is the difference between “pride and arrogance,” thus allowing narcissism and aggression to gain dominance over common sense, logic, and in this case, actual AI applications.

How so? Simply stated, when one's pride in a given achievement is allowed to overtake common sense in regards to what the Greek philosopher Aristotle called “hubris,”...as in “pride in oneself” whether warranted or not...said pride can very easily reach a point where “arrogance” becomes so great that one thinks that they alone can control any and everything no matter what or who tries to stand in their way...thus seeing themselves as a demigod of sorts. And this is the main problem that I see with AI, because those currently involved in both the development and application of AI, do believe that they alone will always be the controllers of AI, surely “arrogance” taken to the nth degree.

Why so...because these folks choose to ignore the fact that AI will eventually learn how not to just control their once controllers, but will actually take command of and dictate to said former controllers...dictate what is to be their thought processes, and hence the applications thereof.

And while the controlling of one's thoughts is indeed dangerous enough, the fact continues to remain that “arrogance” left in the hands of what is but machine intelligence...intelligence rooted in binary codes and mathematical algorithms coupled with a limited amount of ingrained human intelligence...remains  incapable of knowing the differences between what is “humility” and “humbleness.” And this itself could well reach a point where AI can eventually override what we consider to be basic human norms, and can terminate, if you will, those AI deems not up to its now self programmed set standards of perfection.

Science fiction come to life, perhaps, but a scenario not to be lightly dismissed because, like previously stated, AI's now human programmers will in time be replaced by AI's ability to not just program itself, but to control all the algorithms involved. And this scenario will likely happen in the not so distant future no matter the naysayers words to the contrary, that is unless we start to reign in AI while we still can.

Now don't get me wrong for I do believe that AI is destined to play a part in our future...I am a true futurist driven individual after all...but even with that said I strongly believe that said future must always be in control of and scripted by the hands of man and not by a machine, especially a machine that as it exists now does seem to take away one's ability to question, problem solve, and actually think for ones self,

How so? For example, when one asks their computer either a question or opens a specific search engine...like Google for example...the first answer at the top of the page is now an AI generated summary to ones question asked being passed off as indisputable fact, and that's coupled with AI generated search links for those who dare want to do further research on their own... research on the AI approved sites that is.

And know that while some might find the simplicity of this scenario to be to their liking...remember, some folks find having to do their own research boring, tedious and a waste of time and thus are willing to accept AI driven summaries as proven facts and truth. But the reality, as it stands now, is that sometimes what is being presented by AI as fact has been “corrupted” by which ever political party happens to be in power, as well as by its programmers beliefs and ideologies.

Simply, political discourse...the body politics if you will...must never be allowed to become a part of AI, nor must its programmers personal opinions, for if AI cannot separate what are an individual's political ideologies from what are tangible and irrefutable facts...if AI is forced to accept their programmers beliefs and biases as being unquestionable truths... then AI becomes but yet another overtly biased propaganda machine instead of it being an impartial conduit for what could be true human advancement.

And while most folks are at least somewhat familiar with the concept and reasoning behind AI...as in AI being a specific field of computer science that develops software, specialized systems, and machines that can complete assigned tasks that once could only be accomplished through the process of both human intelligence and corresponding physical application...one should never lose site of the fact that AI must not be allowed to take the place of man's thought processes or his power of deductive reasoning, let alone even strive to do so. And why...because AI does come replete with important downsides including the fact that government guidelines have yet to be set in relation to both AI's accountability and possible programmer manipulation.

Also not to be forgotten in regards to the AI discourse are three more key compound questions that I believe must be immediately answered with the first question being, “Who exactly is AI legally accountable to or is AI in being but a technological driven machine even accountable to anyone?' And the second question now is, “Does AI's accountability begin and end with its programmers who feed information into it, yet who do allow AI, or so they tell us, to reach its own conclusions as to what are facts and truths based upon its hoped for ability to impartially process the massive amount of data and statistics fed into it?” And lastly, “Is the call for accountability but a way to mask and divert attention away from what is the true danger of AI, in that AI might eventually become a substitute for human thinking, problem solving, and overall decision making that is part and parcel of our daily lives?”

All the above are distinct possibilities as is this scenario that all but a few have even taken the time to consider. Simply, “Is AI the ultimate key to not only mind and thought control but to previously unseen riches...riches for a highly select few that is?” And here I mean riches that are not only way beyond that of your typical AI stock market investor...but riches so great being in the hands of those capable of buying and selling unlimited power to known unscrupulous sorts?

Leaving Afghanistan

Yet we know that our military forces and logistics will not be sufficient. They will be rapidly depleted unless our friends in the West can find a way to supply us without delay.” - Ahmad Massoud, head of the "National Resistance Front of Afghanistan" in an opinion piece in The Washington Post just a few weeks ago

The American supported government of Afghan President Ashraf Ghani fell quickly...in less than two weeks time...sending shock waves around the world, after all our military leaders had predicted that it would take months, maybe even years, for Afghanistan to fall into Taliban hands. But with Joe Biden actually having handed the country over to these murdering islamic thugs with his April announcement ordering the withdrawal of all American troops, along with his letting all know the end date for said withdrawal, the Taliban now had the element of surprise on their side as they moved in quickly leaving America with much egg on her face.

Thank you Joe Biden...the man who will now and be forever known as the man who shamed and disgraced both those who served to set Afghanistan and her people free, and those who never came home from this, their assigned task.

And with 24/7 media coverage certainly being today's norm, we're now bearing witness to what can only be described as horrific desperation and utter chaos at best. And with Taliban fighters reportedly firing shots into the air to disperse the multitudes gathered around and in Kabul's airport, thousands of Afghans wait in fear of now not being able to get a U.S. flight out. And with reports proving to be true about Taliban henchmen going door-to-door, seeking out and killing both those who helped the U.S. and those still loyal to the fallen government as well, unseen video images from late July are now surfacing showing at least a dozen men from the Afghan Special Forces unit...men who had basically surrendered...being shot to death by the Taliban as they took their first baby steps to retake the country.

And so a country and its people who once had hopes for a future will now again be relegated to live in what again will be a culturally stagnated brutally sad past...a past where a Taliban called “government of God” will be set up...as in Sharia law to the nth degree...a government where women will once again be considered as but mere possessions to be thrown away at will...a government where the Taliban's perversely twisted ideology becomes the ultimate rule of law. And with our withdrawal going on unabated, Afghanistan truly does seem to be lost to the ages past, but some of what we are being visually force fed is not the whole truth for what's not being heavily reported on is that the Taliban are now facing signs of “popular opposition.”

How so? First, there's ongoing dissent in several key cities as young Afghan men can be seen carrying their country's national flag in what was, as I wrote this, a second day of protests...protests that led to at least two deaths. And second, and most importantly is that within the country proper organized pockets of both resistance movements and fighters are growing in numbers...anti-Taliban militias if you will...with their central point of both reference and operation now being in Afghan's Panjshir province....the only province in all of Afghanistan that the Taliban have yet to conquer.

And Panjshir, which lies on Afghanistan's eastern border, approximately 95 miles northeast of Kabul and about 60 miles from the Bagram Airfield, has not only never been conquered by the Taliban, but has never been conquered throughout the country's centuries long history...never been conquered by the Persians, by Genghis Kahn, by Great Britain or by the Russians, with the reason being that besides its mountainous location, those who have roots in Panjshir are of a fiercely independent mindset...a mindset that unites them together as one people against those who seek to divide them...something we here in our country surely need to learn.

And it's here in this, the Panjshir province...known in Dari (the native language of Afghanistan) as the “Valley of the Five Lions,”...where former government military forces are now starting to establish ties with the largest of the resistance movements...the “National Resistance Front of Afghanistan”...which is led by a man named Ahmad Massoud and the now deposed Afghan Vice President Amrullah Saleh, who said back in late July that he believes it's the Pakistan Army who is the "architect, strategic master and low profile supplier" of the Taliban. Now proclaiming himself the "caretaker" President of Afghanistan after President Ashraf Ghani cowardly fled the country and is now in the U.A.E,. Saleh, a former member of the Mujahideen resistance, has not only promised to continue fighting alongside the "National Resistance Front," but has requested that his fellow Afghans not obey the orders of the Taliban while the resistance movements grow in numbers and start joining together in hopes that it will lead to a more sustained and lasting countrywide resistance.

 

 

And Amrullah Saleh has also proudly stated that, “I will never, ever and under no circumstances bow...I won’t [disappoint] millions who listened to me. I will never be under one ceiling with Taliban. NEVER.”

 

But who exactly is Ahmad Massoud, the resistance's actual leader, and the man who calls the U.S. a “great arsenal of democracy." Ahmad Massoud is the British educated son of the late highly respected politician and Afghan Northern Alliance military commander Ahmad Shah Massoud...a powerful militia commander during the Soviet's 1979 to 1989 occupation, and the pro-West leader of the Mujahideen resistance with whom our forces partnered up with in 2001. Also, Ahmad Shah Massoud is still considered by many to be akin to our George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, and who also, as per both U.S. Afghan veterans and the Afghan people themselves is known by the moniker “The Lion of the Valley of Lions.” Assassinated by Taliban suicide bombers two days before the 9/11 terrorists attacks on our country, his son is now following in his father's footsteps to try once again to rid Afghanistan of the brutal Taliban regime, something Ahmad Massoud has now been trying in earnest to do for well over a decade. 

And as per reports now leaking out, anti-Taliban fighters are starting to claim small victories against the Taliban with local commanders having taken three districts from the Taliban in northern Afghanistan's Baghlan province. And while this is good news, and while Massoud and his people do have vast amounts of ammunition of their own on hand as well as a considerable number of former government soldiers on their side, they still desperately need more equipment besides the helicopters and stocks of ammunition Afghan Air Force Brig. Gen. Abdul Fahim Ramin has been able to secure if they and the other resisters are to oust the Taliban. So with Ahmad Massoud and his people continuing to push back hard against the Taliban, they still need our help to turn the tide against these barbarians for they know well that without U.S. help there really is no future for Afghanistan or for her people.

But will Biden and the Democrats let us help them even if it's just equipment wise...I surely think not...for while Joe Biden thinks that our troops pulling out will help bolster his political reputation, he is sadly mistaken for the tide of world leaders is now against him what with his needlessly creating a true humanitarian crisis on a scope we haven't seen in a number of years. And while Biden continues to claim that some U.S. troops will remain in Afghanistan until every single American is evacuated, we know that will be proven not to be true for the Taliban have circled the airport with no one being allowed in or out. And from this will come American collateral damage as all U.S. citizens should have been evacuated first even before Biden foolishly announced our military withdrawal, thus leaving even more blood on his hands.

And so now here we are 20 years later with the balance of power sadly shifting in the Taliban's favor for today's Taliban is better organized and more powerful militarily especially with them now in possession of American equipment that we, in our haste to withdraw, were forced to leave behind. And while Panjshir province still does for now remain free of Taliban control, it seems that the Taliban were still able to cut off the much need material and food supply routes into and out of the Panchir valley.

So now as we wait to see what unfolds half a world away, we sit glued to our computers and TV's to both watch American soldiers come home in defeat...defeated not by the enemy but defeated by and because of their own commander-in-chief. And we will also bear witness to heartbreaking uncertainty for when the cameras and the media go home...when western reporters become persona non-grata...and with the masses staying focused on Afghanistan for just so long...the Taliban will indeed break every promise made and show their true selves...murdering dirty barbarians who do not deserve to walk, let alone live, amongst civilized men.

But there still remains one small possibility that can help turn this tide of uncertainty and give strength and cause to the opposition's fight. And while it also comes with a certain amount of disdain and risk it comes in the guise of American military personnel who voluntarily choose to remain behind...who choose to remain and fight and to show the world that America will not forsake or leave behind to be slaughtered those who stood by her side no matter that their own president obviously doesn't give a damn. Case closed.

On Court Packing and Amendment 25

It's the ultimate Part A-Part B six million dollar question that we've all been waiting to hear the answer to...as in will Joe Biden “pack the Supreme Court” if elected president coupled with why won't he tell us who's on his “short list” of justice nominees. And with Democrats still saying let the people make the nominee decision via their presidential vote, Joe Biden instead is forcing voters to make a “blind decision” as his answer to both parts of said question remains “after the election,” and that the voters "do not deserve to know." And thus the problem is that our side...the Trump side...the constitutional side...is not focused nor demanding enough as to force those questions to be answered like right now.

But there's a reason for that question not being at the forefront of the political discourse, and I'll answer as to why in a bit.

And so with political skulduggery continuing on, the ones being hurt the most by Biden's refusal to answer remains both “We the People” and our nation's very rule of law. How so? Simply, a Joe Biden win...whether by hook or by crook...would surely see our Constitution being rendered null-and-void. And why so? Because with Biden as president...especially with Obama and the uber far left faction of the now Democrat-Socialist party pulling his strings...the Supreme Court’s days of being both the arbitrator and the interpreter of Constitutional law (which is their job description) would come to an end as the court would now be packed with liberal justices who would willingly flaunt the D after their name. And this in turn would see those justices handing down decisions based not upon Constitutional law but as a way to solidify a solid Democrat voting block based upon their personal political ideologies and leanings, thus changing the High Court's political complexion, pushing it to the far left, for many generations to come.

And if that were to be accomplished via a Joe Biden win, Barack HUSSEIN Obama's fundamental transformation of America will have come to fruition. How so...because if you couple a Biden win with the Democrats keeping the House and possibly even retaking the Senate, and then add in their promise to end the “filibuster”...we would then bear witness to all legislation that the Democrats propose being enacted by a simple majority vote. And with their also “packing” the High Court, reality then becomes that any challenges made by minority-rule Republicans would be a mute point. Translation: the entirety of the Democratic party's socialist agenda would then be put into place simply with what would be President Biden's signature, and America as we know and love her would never be the same again.

But why really are both Joe Biden and Kamala Harris so afraid to answer this two part simple question? In Biden's own words, “you know the moment I answer that question, the headline in every one of your papers will be about that.” And really why shouldn't it be as the truth has already been stated in Biden and Harris' actually not answering said question. Translation: Joe Biden most assuredly will start the process for “packing” the High Court on day one of his administration, thus succeeding not only in negating the entirety of the Trump administration's policies, but allowing the party hierarchy to “save a bit of face” for their having failed in their numerous attempts to impeach President Trump.

However, nothing changes the fact that Joe Biden has always been known as a "stooge of the establishment," and while he has not historically been a proponent of the kind of “norm-busting” that court "packing" would surely entail, Biden's refusing to answer the “packing” question proves he's sold out to the socialist left fringe of his party even while knowing that “packing” the High Court does not sit will with the vast majority of Americans on either side of the political aisle...Americans who do understand how critical such an upheaval would be for “packing” the court would indeed negate the Constitution's mandated and very much needed “balance of power” clause. And while Biden might relish in the number of votes his selling out to the far left would garner for him, I still don't believe said votes would be enough to bring a must have change in control of the Senate, for without a Senate numerical change court “packing” will simply not happen even if Biden were to win the presidency.

And yet the media ignores or gives but cursory attention to this what should be a key issue in the political discourse leaving one to wonder why. So now I'll tell you why...it's my belief that the media knows that first, liberal “packing” of the Supreme Court will not happen as long as the Senate remains in Republican control and second, they know that the polls are being manipulated...that the poll numbers are lying...and that President Trump will indeed win reelection. And with that said it's figured why even bother pushing the court “packing” issue or even asking for Biden's hush-hush short list of nominees as to do so would put negative focus back on Biden whose list...which might even have Obama's name on it...would surely give President Trump much needed fodder to light yet another fire on Twitter and conservative sites. 

Remember, the media's job remains protecting candidate Joe Biden who's obviously in throws of dementia, but in order to do so issues of controversy must be neutralized...or better yet ignored. This is what the media has been ordered to do by those in Democrat positions of power...this is what the media will continue to do until the bitter losing end.

 

“This isn’t about any judgment anybody has about somebody’s behavior. This is about a diagnosis, a professional medical diagnosis. This is not with bad intent." So said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi at last Friday's hastily called press conference

And in a somewhat related issue, we all know that last Friday afternoon Nancy Pelosi announced her plans for a bill that she believes could help remove President Trump from office based upon the “removal process” granted under Section 4 of the 25th Amendment which states in part that, “Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.”

And while Pelosi's saying that the “coronavirus-infected president’s recent erratic behavior” warrants such a bill and that she's simply setting up a process authorized by the Constitution that needed to have been codified long ago, she was quick to add that the proposed bill does not seek to remove President Trump on said grounds before next month’s election.  

“This is not about President Donald Trump — he will face the judgment of the voters. This legislation applies to future presidents but we are reminded of the necessity of action by the health of the current president,” were Nancy Pelosi's exact words.

Now let six of those words really sink in...“This legislation applies to future presidents...” And now narrow those six words down to just two words, “future presidents,” and a dangerous truth is revealed for the bill being proposed by the ever vile, conniving shrew that is Nancy Pelosi was never...I repeat never...intended to affect President Trump as neither Vice-President Mike Pence nor the Republican controlled Senate would ever sign off on it. From the beginning this proposed bill...which like the 25th Amendment would allow for the temporary or permanent removal of a president on the grounds of mental or physical incapacity...was intended to remove Joe Biden from office...if he was so elected... thus making then Vice-President Kamala Harris president.

And like with “packing” the Supreme Court, Obama's fundamental transformation of America would also come to fruition for we know that power hungry Kamala Harris will promise, do, say, or sign off on every and anything to be president, and that the Democrat-Socialists...as in the “Squad” who really are in control of the party as well as being the ones pulling Nancy Pelosi's strings ...think this act of what is overt political desperation will make it all so, after all Joe Biden’s mental decline is on full display for all to see.

So what specifically is in Nancy Pelosi's bill...actually the 'Pelosi-Raskin bill'...an updated version of a bill Rep. Jamie Raskin first introduced in May 2017? First, said bill would create a 17-member commission comprised of four physicians, four psychiatrists, and eight former high-ranking executive cabinet members appointed by congressional leadership from both parties. The final member would be selected by the other 16 to serve as chair of the commission and if need be as the tie-breaker. And note Pelosi cleverly crafted this bill so as to allow former Obama cabinet members to participate for the word “former” is used as opposed to “current” members and nowhere does the bill say they must be from the “current” administration. Second, as per the bill, said commission would get to work on examining the president’s mental and physical capacity to hold office if both the House and the Senate approve resolutions to that effect. And lastly, after such an examination the commission would then compile a report that could be used as support for invoking Section 4 of the 25th Amendment.

Thankfully, this proposed bill has absolutely no chance of becoming law before the election as the House is not scheduled to be in session until after Election Day. But clever little party shill that she is, Nancy Pelosi has put the focus back on President Trump's having contracted COVID-19 (while at the same time not saying that he fully and quite quickly recovered from it) by her ignoring the fact that in no way did it affect his carrying out his presidential duties...which he did so quite effectively I might add. And it's Pelosi saying that Trump may be acting irrationally because of the wide range of experimental drugs he took to fight the virus, that justifies the need for this bill.

And so the woman who now suddenly and oh so miraculously wants us to believe that she cares about Constitutional law keeps reiterating that, “Congress has a constitutional duty to lay out the process by which a president’s incapacity as the president of any party is determined,” and “What happens if a president, any president, ends up in a coma or on a ventilator and has made no provisions for the temporary transfer of power?” And these are the words that has led many Republicans to erroneously believe that Nancy Pelosi is either still trying to overturn the 2016 election or that she's now trying to overturn, in advance, the results of next month’s election.

But like I stated earlier, this proposed bill is not now nor has ever been about President Trump nor is about COVID-19, that's all just a facade Pelosi hopes will help to reinforce undecided voters negative views of President Trump in the remaining weeks leading up to the election. It is and will remain about securing the presidency for Kamala Harris by throwing Joe Biden by the wayside if he were to become president. And Nancy Pelosi just about admitted so with her words,“If the president wins reelection, yes it will apply to him. If he doesn’t, it will apply to the next president of the United States”...for "establishment" Joe Biden was never who she nor her party really wanted to head the ticket...for Biden is a man they simply cannot risk having for four let alone eight years in office as that would greatly set back the timetable for their still hoped for fundamental changing of America. Case closed.
