[[[So with President Trump already having ruled out using a nuclear weapon on Iran because, "the country's military has been defeated. They're
totally defeated militarily."...even though to one degree or another Iran is still fighting back and will continue to do so as Islam itself demands it...Trump has now seriously started to talk about bombing Kharg Island, Iran's main oil export terminal, which we would then control after said bombing.
How convenient in timing, PR wise that is, especially after also having been revealed not too long ago that an Iranian uranium facility located at the Natanz nuclear compound, for whatever reason, was not bombed when Natanz was. Not very good optics for our side I'd say.
So now conveniently entering center stage is Trump's neutralizing optic of his just having made a 100-year oil deal with Venezuela. No problem with that...it's a good thing actually...but when you add 2+2 together you still get "oil"...NOT victory in war, NOT peace...but "oil,"
"Oil talk here, oil talk there, oil talk everywhere," but NO talk of us ending the war in victory...NO talk of surrendering by Iran...NO anything it seems, because the quest for oil control seems to have taken center stage over war itself...how truly sad is that. ]]]

Op-ed:
A November Reality Check
By: Diane Sori / The Patriot Factor /
Right Side Patriots / Right Side Patriots Radio
The Op-ed posted here is this authors opinion alone, and does not necessarily
represent the views of blogspot.comor Google.
Now that Donald Trump has the
Republican presidential nomination basically locked up, July's
convention is but a “dog and pony show”...a total waste
of time and monies, monies that could well be better spent. Yet two
questions still remain on many folks minds, with the first being, can
Trump really beat Biden in November; and the second being can Trump,
if elected, govern effectively if the Republicans were to lose both
the House and the Senate or even just one or the other.
The
second question I answered in my article from last week entitled,
“The
Importance Of 'Down Ticket' Voting”as
it seemed more timely a question with primaries still ongoing, so now
I'll answer the first question via a “devil's advocate”
type scenario.
But first, remember that no matter how
many primaries a candidate wins, primary campaigning itself is
usually but a candidate's playing to an audience of their already
aligned followers in hopes of garnering more monies to be able to
continue campaigning; while the election itself sees many different
components coming together no matter ones party affiliation. And this
includes the nominee's overall demeanor and personality, as well as
can the voters themselves relate to the nominee as a person with whom
they have beliefs and values in common.
So while Donald Trump has his
fan base of die-hard supporters who deem he can do no wrong, we all,
whether we like his ego driven persona or not, do need to remember
that Trump's successful economic, energy, and border policies did
indeed filter down to “We the People.” And surprisingly to
some, we might even have to overlook the facts of his having been
impeached twice; his having been found guilty in a number of major civil trials;
and whether rightly or wrongly Trump's still has to face numerous and
quite serious federal indictments and trials.
Donald Trump is far from being
the perfect candidate...the “lesser of two evils” some
call him. But when you compare him to Obama's puppet Joe Biden is
there really any doubt about who, both physically and mentally, has
no business being in the White House as opposed to one who can, at
times, get certain important things done. One would think the choice
would be obvious especially when common sense is applied, and yet we
must face the fact that due to ongoing Republican infighting there's
a good chance that Biden might still be able to pull off a November
win, leaving us to face four more agonizingly long years.
The stuff of nightmares, and itwill continue to be“We the People” who not only will be hurting financially even more so than we already are, but we will also continue seeing ourselves being made a
mockery of by a man and his puppet master, as well as by those in the Democrat party who together remain more concerned
about about those now entering our country illegally than they are about
the “health, safety, and welfare” of the American people.
And this is due to Biden's failed policies...most
especially his economic policies...policies truly at odds with the reality
of affordability as opposed to the cleverly crafted and deceitfully
manipulated “economic indicators”...paper
shifted of numbers if you will...that
he and the left so love to spew. Remember, not only do we see
grocery, gas prices, and essential goods and services going up just
about weekly, but we also see wages struggling to keep up with
escalating costs due to inflation remaining but stagnate at best.
And when added into the generalities of this nightmare
are all the actual monies, perks, and freebies going to illegals
instead of to financially hurting American citizens as well as
to our veterans in need, the truth is that we simply cannot nor must not allow this current administration to do any more financial and economic harm than
they already have.
Also, not to be forgotten is the increase in
violent crime in major Democrat controlled cities and states courtesy
of violent illegals being released by liberal DA's who
thanks to this administration's “catch and release”
program help in the dispersing of criminals throughout these United
States. And unfortunately it's innocent folks...like 22-year old Laken Hope
Riley...who pay the price for what, in my opinion, amounts to the Biden
administration's outright sanctioning of murder...as witnessed by
Biden's recent walk-back of his calling Laken's cold blooded murderer what
he is...an “illegal.”
Simply and to the point, our beloved
American republic is now facing both a political and a moral fight
for her very survival with her winning or losing said battle being
decided this November 5th. And when you narrow down the actual
logistics involved you will see that the fight we now face is not
just between two political parties or their chosen candidates per se,
but between the entirety of the left's misguided push for “diversity”
and “equity”... what some call “cultural
progressiveness”...versesthe right's concept of “fair play” coupled with taking
responsibility for one's own actions.
Basically, not only is our Constitution
as the rule of law at stake, but the
very fabric, character, values, and moral compass that is the
hallmark of American culture is being hijacked by those who not only
want but demand that America fails. A war between “good and
evil” some like to call the upcoming election relating it back
to the Biblical sense, but I personally do not see this election in
such simplistic and archaic terms for I see the here and now
tangibles that come November we might well be facing America's last
stand...at least the America as we on the right know and love her to
be.
And here I speak not of abject fear replacing what should be
easily applied common sense, but to the opposing realities that both
major party's presidential nominee brings to the election table, as
in Donald Trump who (as I write this) is on the verge of locking up
the Republican nomination...and Joe Biden, a sickly old man truly
unfit both physically and mentally to hold office...a Democrat party
shill doctor's report to the contrary. You can medicate someone to
get through a time-defined speech, but you cannot expect that
demeanor to become a daily occurrence. Just look at Joe Biden the day
after his horrific, divisive, and hateful sham of a “State of
the Union Address”...he was back to his old slow-moving, slurry
talking, incoherent nasty self.
But no matter the very obvious physical and
mental differences between these two men, there remains a serious
split within the Republican party itself that could still cost Trump
the election. Simply, the ongoing battle between the “Only
Trump” and the “Never Trump” folks remains as
divisive as ever with both groups being critical in determining who
wins in November. And when you add in the all important “still
on the fence” independents, no one in either party, at least
not at this point in time, should take the politically generated
polls nor the media's rhetoric spewed as a given truth that the 2024
election has already been decided...for Biden by the left...for Trump
by the right.
Why so? One must remember,
whether you like Trump or not...and I do not...that during his four
years in office the so-called “machinery of government” did
work fairly well even with Trump's being twice impeached coupled with
all the allegations and nonsense that the Democrats threw at him...a
“witch hunt” bar none. Never before in America's history
did we bare witness to such a maliciously calculated attack on a
sitting president...an attack whose political charges have yet to be
proven...an attack by a party simply because their... as in
Obama's...much wanted “transformation
of America” was being sidelined by what was an uber
wealthy, “party switching,” political outsider.
And yet even with a number of legal woes still on Trump's horizon,
many right leaning political pundits still claim that he, not Biden,
can win in November by his continuing to cite the fact that many
voters fitting the moniker “of color,” along with younger and “first time” voters, do not buy into what Biden is
selling. And this relates to his claim that the economy is
improving and inflation is headed downward, “shrinkflation”
he calls it, courtesy of job numbers that are simply not true. How
so...if those numbers were true first time home ownership would be on
the rise...which it is not...nor are earned wages able to stay ahead
of inflation.
And others, besides the usual cast of political pundits, are
gambling on a Trump victory because not only has Biden been unable to
convince enough folks how his disastrous job-creation policies...most
related toflaying “green
energy” projects and start ups...have made a positive difference in
their everyday lives or to their pocketbook; but also because Biden continues to tie us to the Ukraine/ Russia War while at the same time
thinking he can tell Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu how
the war with Hamas should and should not be fought. And here Joe
Biden is so out of his proverbial “pay grade,” for his foreign policy blunders...blunders that directly cost
American lives...can easily be summed up in but one simple
word...Afghanistan.
Now here is where my “devils
advocate” scenario comes into play even with certain undeniable
pluses for Donald Trump, for Joe Biden can indeed still pull off another win. And surprisingly, that's even without the sure to come reemergence of 2020's voter what
I call “irregularities,”as
in a repeat of the left's “shenanigans” that cost Trump the 2020
election.
So how
exactly can Joe Biden win in November? First, Donald Trump, no matter all of his
primary turnouts and overwhelming wins, still remains an unpopular
candidate especially in key “purple” states,
and not just with Democrats but with large numbers of Republicans as
well. And for those Republicans it's obviously not Trump's
achievements that are a problem, but the political andlegal “baggage”
he still carries that is. And when you add in an over-sized ego, deliberately
inflammatory rhetoric coupled with not knowing when to keep his mouth
shut, you can see what turns many who voted for Trump before, off. It's one
thing not to be a politician per se, it's quite another thing to be
the cause of deliberately dividing ones party in the name of seeking
“revenge.”
Also,
certain “optics”
are now raising “red flags”
for some Republicans as well, one in particular being that recently Trump's
daughter-in-law Lara Trump became the RNC co-chair...a move seen by
many of the party faithful as being but an authoritarian grab for power
on Trump's part. Timing in politics is everything, but the timing of
this months before the election is quite telling and not in a good sense as it can actually lead some Republicans to
vote “third party,”
which at the same time could result in a higher than normal Democrat
turnout to help assure that Trump does not win. Remember, Democrats do tend
to remain both faithful to the party as well as voting “down
ticket” more so than we
Republicans do...thus also comprising a big plus for a possible Biden
win.
Bottom
line, November remains all about numbers and our numbers best be
high... “clothespin on nose”
votes included...for if our numbers do not out pace those of the
Democrats we indeed will lose it all...the House, the Senate, and the
presidency...a scenario our country might never recover from. Case
closed.

Op-ed:
The Politicization of Hurricane
Ian...Part Two
By: Diane Sori / The Patriot Factor /
Right Side Patriots / Right Side Patriots Radio
Last week in my article “The
Politicization of Hurricane Ian...Part One,” I spoke about
the hurricane's aftermath and how some of our country's elected
officials are not only trying to play the blame game for both the
storm damage incurred and the lives lost, but how some, like Kamala
Harris, have now turned an act of nature... climate change nonsense be
damned...into a racist endeavor in a quest to garner more votes for
the Democrats soon to be lost mid-term election.
And in said article I also spoke about
how Florida's great Gov. Ron DeSantis, and our Florida Congressmen
and women as well as both our Senators, stood strong against the
Democrats using Florida's tragedy as a way to pass their
“continuing resolution” to keep the federal government up and
running through mid-December. Nothing like Democrats showing their
true colors by “porking up” their liberal agenda at the
expense of their fellow Americans who have now literally lost
everything they once owned, and in some cases lost people they loved.
And so here I begin where “Part
One” left off with the “continuing resolution” and
Joe Biden's visit to both Puerto Rico and southwest Florida to see
the devastation first hand. And in both places Biden made some of his
biggest “ooops moments”...moments
that have indeed come back to haunt.
In the late afternoon of Wednesday
October 5th, Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden (read nursemaid
here) visited Fort Myers to survey the damage caused by Hurricane Ian
and to meet with officials, residents, and business owners impacted
by Ian's devastating fury. Starting with an aerial tour aboard Marine
One (the presidential helicopter), Biden met with Governor DeSantis,
Senators Marco Rubio and Rick Scott, as well as state and local
leaders to discuss ongoing recovery efforts. Saying that, “This
is about America coming together,” Biden also “vowed”
to bring “every element of the federal government together to
help with immediate needs and long-term rebuilding,” never mind
the fact that his vows were tied to the afore mentioned “continuing
resolution.”
Also, Biden said that those Floridians
without “disaster insurance” may be eligible for up to
$80k in federal funds to “repair or replace” their homes and vehicles.
But the problem is that most folks who own homes here in Florida have
homeowners insurance, as mortgage companies do require it. However,
what Biden specifically referred to as being “disaster
insurance” is not on its own offered in the state of Florida. And with those
without insurance usually, but not always, being folks of lower income or people “of
color”...what Biden is basically now doing is giving even more
government handouts to those who are already on welfare and
Medicaid...folks who do not own homes but rent homes or apartments
instead. And this means that they can do whatever they wish to do
with Biden's $80k giveaway while the actual home and property owner
is left to deal with their insurance company alone.
Simply, what we now have here is a vote
garnering operation based upon Kamala Harris' “equity”
nonsense instead of Biden's helping the true home owners with their
tangible property losses, and it's while said renter can just pick up and rent
elsewhere having $80k in their pocket to do so.
Just more politicization that ties into the
afore mentioned “continuing resolution” that Florida's
elected officials said no to and rightly so, and many of us here in
Florida are glad that they did. And why...because Democrats always
prefer politics over truth and reality. One case in point revolves
around Sen. Marco Rubio and his opponent Val Demings who criticized
Rubio for his “not being present” for the resolution vote. But he had a very good reason for not being there...our Senator was here in Florida's Lee County surveying the
epicenter of the destruction caused by the storm, which was exactly where he needed to be. And that was way
more important than being in Washington voting on a bill that does
little to directly help those in Florida who lost everything. And
by the way, Sen. Rubio stayed in southwest Florida doing whatever he
could to do to help, so to both Val Demings and St. Petersburg-based State House Democrat Michele Rayner who said, “the people of
Florida deserve better,” I agree that they do, but that the only way to achieve better is by not voting for people like Demings and Rayner in the first place.
Now as for the actuality of Joe Biden
and “bad optics”... the one thing he seems to have
mastered. Biden was rightfully criticized for his slow response to
Puerto Rico being hit by Hurricane Fiona so it was critical, PR wise,
that he visit southwest Florida as soon as it was safe for him to do
so. But I find it odd that with our commonwealth of Puerto Rico
having suffered major hurricane damage on September 18th...which is
almost two weeks before he or Ian visited Florida...that Biden chose
the day before coming to southwest Florida to go to Puerto Rico. And
once there, while he did promise Puerto Rico $60 million in federal
funding to help rebuild the island, it's obvious to all that he
should have gone there weeks ago and not piggybacked said visit with
his coming to southwest Florida.
Priorities askew as always...with truly
bad optics to boot..forced Biden to play the “race card”
in Puerto Rico even before Kamala Harris did so in regards to
Florida. How so? In his short visit to the island, what Biden hoped
for was to garner votes via his words that, “my home state of
Delaware had a relatively large Puerto Rican community when I was
growing up,” and that, “I was sort of raised in the Puerto
Rican community at home, politically.” But, I believe, Biden
fooled no one for most know that Pennsylvania is Biden's actual home
state as his family didn't move to Delaware until he was 10 years
old, and that when he started his now 50 year (too long) political
career there were only about 2,100 people of Puerto Rican descent
living in the entirety of Delaware.
So what Biden did while in Puerto Rico
was direct his words to the island's Democrat voters and to the
roughly 23,000 folks of Puerto
Rican descent now living in Delaware. Comprising but 2.5% of
the state's population, I guess when politics is involved Joe Biden
figures that by his now classifying himself, in a sense, as a person
“of color” it will help his party in some small way to
deflect the soon to come November “red wave.”
And then Joe Biden, our newest “person
of color,” came to Ft. Myers to not only survey the damage
caused by Hurricane Ian, but to “pretend” to play nice (see footnote)* with Gov.
DeSantis and other elected officials, while throwing the $80K bone at
some...but not all...in a play for Democrat votes. But to be fair I
must say that while here Biden not only praised Gov. De
Santis for his handling of Hurricane Ian
and even went so far as to say that DeSantis’ response was
“pretty remarkable,” but he extended the federal emergency
relief package he first enacted on September 29th at “100
percent of the total eligible costs” by an additional 30 days,
thus now making the direct federal assistance package available for
60 days. And while this relief package will
provide funding for “debris removal and emergency protective
measures,” this package really does nothing for those who have
lost everything.
And to those who sadly lost everything, when
Biden met with local officials and residents at Fisherman's Wharf, a
marina that was ripped apart by the storm he stated that, “The
key here is building back better and stronger to withstand the next
storm,” adding that, “You
can’t go back to what it was before, you got to build back better,
because we know more is coming.” And while these very words are
surely true...as much stronger building codes have now proven to be
needed...the residents gathered wanted to hear what he and the federal
government will do now to help them not just later.
And while Biden also said, “I want
the people of Florida to know you have my commitment and America's
commitment that we're not going to leave. We're going to see you
through this entire process,” he never stated exactly what the
“process” will be. Simply, when folks are hurting, when
all that was once theirs is lost, generalities are not what they want
hear. They not only want but deserve answers to questions asked,
something not gotten from Biden during this short and seemingly
planned to be a quite rushed visit.
But if truth be told...as it
always should be...answers to direct questions is something we never
seem to get from Democrats as more times than not those answers can only be
found buried deep within self-serving partisan driven “continuing
resolutions,” which sadly seems to be the case now.
But speaking in generalities I must say
that all the key players did, at least on the surface, try to overcome their ever widening partisan
divide. In fact,.our great governor even commended the White House for its
collaboration in helping Floridians and thanked Biden for visiting
his state, as well as praising FEMA with words to the affect that,
“We were very fortunate to have good coordination with the White
House and with FEMA,” which for now has proven to be true.
And yet with all the words spoken, all
the praise given, and all the promises made, it was the “optics”
of Joe Biden's visit to southwest Florida that said more than
anything else. How so...because I believe that Joe Biden now
knows...at least on some semblance of a cognitive level...that he and
his party's hold on power is about to come to an end, and it's all
due to the fact that sometimes a photo does say it all.
The now
widely circulated photo of Gov. Ron DeSantis speaking from the
president's podium...the photo where DeSantis' strength, fortitude, and leadership
clearly shines through...is indeed a foreshadowing of things to come
whether it be in 2024 or 2028.
And Joe Biden's willingly turning the
podium over to DeSantis quite unexpectedly while he stepped
aside... going off script puts it mildly...drew shock and dismay from
many on his side of the political aisle. And while it is not that
uncommon for local officials to speak from the presidential podium
after a natural disaster, it did seem odd that Biden would allow the
very someone who might potentially run and win the next presidential
election to be given such an opportunity...an opportunity to show
what a real president looks, acts, and sounds like.
No PR firm could ever dream up a better
press release than that one photo...the above photo of DeSantis behind the
presidential seal...and it came...knowingly or not... courtesy of Joe
Biden's recognizing a job well done at a time when some of our fellow
Americans are badly hurting.
And it was DeSantis' afore mentioned strong leadership,
fortitude, and his being able to successfully handle the many
obstacles now before him...obstacles obviously not of his
doing...that gave “We the People” a glimpse into what
America's future could look like with the right man at the helm. And
most shocking of all, and putting partisan politics aside, it came courtesy of
Joe Biden and a hurricane named Ian...case closed.
