[[[So with President Trump already having ruled out using a nuclear weapon on Iran because, "the country's military has been defeated. They're
totally defeated militarily."...even though to one degree or another Iran is still fighting back and will continue to do so as Islam itself demands it...Trump has now seriously started to talk about bombing Kharg Island, Iran's main oil export terminal, which we would then control after said bombing.
How convenient in timing, PR wise that is, especially after also having been revealed not too long ago that an Iranian uranium facility located at the Natanz nuclear compound, for whatever reason, was not bombed when Natanz was. Not very good optics for our side I'd say.
So now conveniently entering center stage is Trump's neutralizing optic of his just having made a 100-year oil deal with Venezuela. No problem with that...it's a good thing actually...but when you add 2+2 together you still get "oil"...NOT victory in war, NOT peace...but "oil,"
"Oil talk here, oil talk there, oil talk everywhere," but NO talk of us ending the war in victory...NO talk of surrendering by Iran...NO anything it seems, because the quest for oil control seems to have taken center stage over war itself...how truly sad is that. ]]]

[[[Five years ago today we withdrew from Afghanistan in what was in
actuality a defeat. Five years from today I hope we’re not facing
the same scenario with Iran, which could be a possibility. Why
so...because not since WWII has a president's what should be focus to
win a war actually been put on the “back
burner” while
forgetting that”bombs
that go “boom” does not make a war won.
The
Korean
War,
aka“a
police action,” still
seesKoreadivided
in two. The Vietnam War saw us hightailing it out of there in 1975
after the fall of Saigon. And our 20-year involvement in Afghanistan
saw Biden hastily pulling us out after the Taliban re-seized control of Afghan's government. And to add insult to our injury,
Biden forced us to leave behind U.S.military equipment which is now
in the hands of the Taliban. But saddest of all is that in the
action of withdrawing 13 U.S. service members were killed due to
Biden's ineptitude.
So
it should not be all that surprisingthat
we have yet to achieve true victory in Iran, especially when our
president now seems to be more focused on becoming “king
and controller”
of all the world's oil supplies then he is on fighting to win this
rightful war being fought as he'd rather make deals with the enemy
than actually using militarily force to get them to surrender,
And so with Trump's ego puffed up courtesy of his Venezuelan oil win, we
could well see Iran becoming both Vietnam and Afghanistan revisited
with the Iranian people now sadly being his sacrificial lamb. ]]]

It's
All in the Timing

Some
will be angry I know, but sometimes things need to be said and
opinions voiced in a timely manner, so here goes. Venezuelan dictator
Nicolas Maduro needed to be ousted no one is denying that, but in
doing so full not partial disclosure needed to be told as to
why,,,why on Trump's orders...orders afforded him by the Constitution
in Article II, Section 2, which gives the sitting president authority
to direct limited, short-term military operations without prior
Congressional approval...he took it upon himself to not only do so,
but why specifically now with the midterm election but a mere 11
months away...a blink of an eye in the political whelm.
First,
we all know that both Russia and China have been trying to make
inroads into the Western hemisphere. Second, Maduro was a brutal
dictator who made daily life extremely difficult for the Venezuelan
people, as well as being the man who would not relinquish power to
the true winner of Venezuela's last election. Third, we know Maduro
is indeed guilty of narco-terrorism and drug trafficking, no one can
deny that, what with thousands of American deaths attributed to said
trafficking. And fourth, and this is key, Nicolas Maduro (before
capture) controlled 20% of the world's oil reserves...reserves whose
prime buyer is China who accounts for approximately 80% of all of
Venezuela's oil exports, with the other key buyers being both Russia
and Cuba...communist nations all...nations surely not to be trusted,
Last
night on FOX News, and again early this Sunday morning (1/4/26) as I
write this, it was reported that according to President Trump, the
U.S. and U.S. oil companies alone, will now be in control of
Venezuela's oil, and thus to whom will and will not be privy to it.
And with that said something just did not sit right and with me as to
the timing of the drug operation that actually took Maduro down...the
very operation that allowed the oil fields to rightfully become ripe
for the taking. And while said operation was a total success what
with the capture of Maduro and his wife who are now both jailed in
Brooklyn, New York, and are awaiting federal trial in New York City
based upon narco- terrorism and drug trafficking indictments handed
down in 2020...know that said indictments will legally soon expire
this March if not dealt with now.
So
with this time frame now in place why not “ring the golden
victory bell” four times...bringing Maduro to justice if you
will; stopping his illicit drugs from killing more Americans (even
though most, but obviously not all, knew the dangers of taking street
drugs but willingly took them anyway); removing a ruthless dictator
from power and hence his people from oppression; and lastly and
seemingly what, to me, is really behind it all...garner Venezuela's
oil reservesin time to help our Republican side win the 2026
midterm election, which will then hopefully carry over into a 2028
presidential win as well.
Simply,
all of last weeks Maduro take-down events reek of a coordinated effort
to beat 2020's time limitation on indictments, while at the same time
scoring one for the “Trump team” in 2026. And while that
is a good thing, I believe that taking control of Venezuela's oil
fields and reserves was what was being kept from “We the
People'” as being theprime target all along, Why so...because only if said operation
was successful would it become an economy boosting plus to counter
the current not so good midterm poll numbers...numbers showing that
with waning “Independent” votes it is not guaranteed that
we Republicans will keep the House in November, and hence control of
America's purse strings.
Basically,
only by Trump's removing Maduro from power by any means possible
could the what I believe to be his prime and rightful oil garnering
goal be accomplished. Timing and corresponding subterfuge...courtesy
of Maduro's time limited drug trafficking take-down...hopefully will now
serve we Republicans well come the midterm election. Remember, “bait
and switch” operations...which I think this operation was...do
tend to have positive results more times than not especially when the
cause is just.

Op-ed: It's More Than Just About Other People's

Recently reported was that nearly half of all millennials are
willing to live under socialism as they view capitalism as being on
par with four-letter words. Never mind that socialism has failed
wherever and whenever it's been tried making it truly sad that millennials erroneously equate capitalism with the belief that the
already wealthy get wealthier while the sum of all others get little
to nothing. And that belief can be blamed not only on the left's
lovefest with fake news but also on our schools of "higher
indoctrination"...schools formerly known as colleges and universities...not
teaching historical and societal truths let alone economics 101.
Now add in that millennials and most of the uninformed and
ill-informed masses have no idea that socialism equates to big
government, lack of personal responsibility, elimination of private
property, coupled with both the “centralization of the means of
production” and of course decision-making...making socialism
more than just about running out of other people's money.
And while those pushing for socialism relish in empty promises that
socialism will create a classless society where everyone is
equal...while remaining clueless that it's equality at the
bottom rung of the socioeconomic ladder...a ladder where only a
select few will reap the rewards of others hard work...and where in
the end only one individual reaches the top rung of said ladder.
Welcome to the morphing of socialism into a dictatorship where the
masses worship the very dictator who provides for their meager existence and where God becomes but a distant memory for God has no
place in a society of robotic equals who have no concept of “free
will.” Better to be taken care
of...to have every need met...sort of...than do for oneself. And for
those who dare to think outside socialism's box it usually does not
end well as can be seen in what happens in countries embracing
socialism...countries like Venezuela.
And while socialism's political and media proponents try to market
it as “rule by the working people”...a collective working
class they claim will eliminate the disparities between the haves and
have nots...the fact is that when you strip away all the hoped for
socialist ideologies and promises...what remains is but the truth that
what was envisioned to be a socialist utopia of equality for all is
but rule by those who dare to play and then win the game known as
“political tyranny”...a game based upon fear mongering and undeliverable promises. And know that said game is not being played
for the betterment of the people but solely to see whose quest for
money and power trumps all others. To the victor goes the spoils...to
the loser goes enslavement minus the ability to know one has actually
been enslaved.
But even when the truths about socialism are stripped away and
laid bare for all to see, the scariest thing about socialism as it
relates to today's American political scene is that if Democrats play
their cards right...if the far left side of the party is successful
in taking over the party's hierarchy...socialism might simply be
voted in courtesy of the above stated uninformed and misinformed
masses...in other words those with their hands out selling their
souls simply for socialism's promise of even more “free stuff.”“Political tyranny” won without so much as a single
revolutionary shot fired...socialism voted in because we on the right
did not know how to successfully fight back against the very folks wishing to
do our constitutional republic harm.
And sadly today there are many wishing us harm...including some
new to Congress... Democrats all...many willing to sing socialism's
supposed praises yet having no idea nor caring about the
ramifications of the socialistic monster they're trying to create.
So now let's focus on but two of the loudest callers for socialism
to become America's newest societal norm by starting first with
Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar, the ever so vile muslima who relishes in wearing
both her overt anti-Semitism and her hatred of all things President
Trump as proud badges of honor. This CAIR operative and jihad
condoning nasty piece of work...an outward proponent of
socialism who remains blind to socialism's many failures including in
Venezuela, a country not that far from home. Venezuela...a country
tethering on the brink of collapse...a country replete with
ill-conceived economic policies and ever-growing corruption...a
sinking ship of a country adrift on a cyclonic socialist sea.
Never mind that Ilhan Omar has foolishly been blaming both our
country and president for Venezuela's ongoing political turmoil and
economic woes by saying that, “A lot of the policies that we
have put in place has kind of helped lead the devastation in
Venezuela and we have sort of set the stage for where we are arriving
today.” Never mind that she absurdly equates U.S. sanctions
with bullying as the means by which she says President Trump hopes to
initiate “regime change”...never mind all that for what
should be minded as it equates to our country is that Ilhan Omar says
socialism is a very good thing and that it's what the Venezuelan
people want. Simply, she lies, for the people of Venezuela...people
who long for the days when Venezuela was free...are now fighting back
in an effort to return Venezuela to the “Jewel of Latin America”
that she was before Hugo Chavez turned once democratic Venezuela into
a socialist hellhole...the same kind of hellhole Ilhan Omar wants the
U.S. to become.
Still refusing to recognize Juan Guaido as Venezuela's duly
elected president backed by both the country's constitution and her
people, Omar cannot accept as truth that Venezuela's being in the
midst of what are now violent anti-government protests coupled with a
call to remove socialist dictator Nicolás Maduro from power is
simply because socialism is not working for the people. Venezuelans
continue to starve under socialism as food rationing, one of
socialism's calling cards, has led the average Venezuelan to lose
24lbs. in one year alone with mass starvation now taking hold of the
still oil-rich country. And not only do Venezuelans have but
limited access to clean drinking water, but 93% of the people
simply can no longer afford to buy food, and those who can wait in line for
hours to buy what little food is available from the few vendors the
government allows to stay in business.
And Ilhan Omar sees no problem with this all too common aspect of
socialism...sad isn't it.
Also, Venezuela's prices on almost all goods have risen nine times
in the mere eight years since socialist price controls took effect.
And with inflation rates now being 400% higher than that of its
neighboring Latin American countries, Maduro's socialist government
still touts that socialism affords Venezuelans access to free
health care. But what he's not saying is what good is free health care
when there's an overall 85+% shortage of medications needed to fight
and control simple illnesses and diseases as well as give children
much needed vaccinations. Also omitted from Maduro's health care
discourse is that ordinary antibiotics now cost Venezuelans twice
their minimum wage...as in a miserly wage of
a mere $6.70 per hour in a country who, thanks to
socialism, has an annual inflation rate of over two million percent
and whose personal income tax rate now stands at 34%.
And again, this is what Ilhan Omar wants as our country's future.
What Ilhan Omar just doesn't get...or gets but just doesn't
care...is that Venezuela is the perfect example of what happens when
socialism brings about the centralization and control of both a
country's government and its economy. Simply, free enterprise is no
longer free and being tied to the government for all one's needs
becomes the sadly accepted societal norm. And in Ilhan Omar's case,
maybe it's that she thinks a socialistic society will be better
suited to help aide in islam's so-wanted takeover of American
society...with an islamist one never knows.
And then there's New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez...aka
Alexandria Ocasio-Common Core-tez for reasons needing no
explaining...whose only difference between her and Ilhan Omar is that
Omar's actions and words truly reek of being a traitor while I don't
think AOC really hates America as Omar does. I think AOC simply
cannot understand all the negative ramifications of embracing socialism's
economic and societal paths nor can her guru Bernie Sanders for that matter.
And so the woman who describes herself as a
democratic-socialist...whatever that means as it's sort of an
oxymoron...a few months ago said of socialism, "So when
millennials talk about concepts like democratic socialism, we're not
talking about these kinds of 'Red Scare' boogeyman...we're talking
about countries and systems that already exist that have already been
proven to be successful in the modern world."
So let me give Ms. AOC and those of her
ilk a little economics 101 lesson. And while I know this lesson will
go over her head she needs to be made aware of the reasons why
socialism will not work here in our country before making a bigger
fool of herself than she already has.
Let's start with the countries
Ms. AOC alludes to as being socialism's success stories...Finland, Canada, and
the U.K...all countries with socialized medicine...the very
type of health care AOC wants implemented here. Ignoring
that socialized medicine has its own set of strict rules, regulations, costs, and
horrors...rules such as needing "permission" to
have even the most basic of surgery and the government being the decider
of when and where life support is to be turned off...see my article A

one such story...what we call single-payer health care...as in
Medicare for all...sees being overlooked by AOC is the fact that what might work in
the individual countries of Europe...countries with populations much
less than that of the U.S...will simply not work here for the scope
of implementing such change comes at too high a monetary cost.
And why is that? Because while the
concept of socialized medicine sounds good on the surface with its
advocates saying it would both “cut out the
middleman”...as in the insurance
companies...while also lowering administrative costs as the government
itself would now be in charge, it would not see the monies saved from
said cuts providing “universal coverage”
for allat a much
lower cost. And again why...because those favoring socialized
medicine ignore the fact that to implement such coverage on such a
massive population scale...a scale where it would cover all Americans
equally...would lead to major implementation cost increases which in
turn would then lead to an across-the-board tax hike in order to fund
said coverage. And who would feel the tax pinch the most...the lower
and middle classes of course not to mention that doctors and
hospitals would have to accept even less reimbursements for services
rendered then they already are.
Simple translation for socialism-loving
AOC: whatever monies folks saved under a single-payer system would be
eaten up by an increase in their taxes...and that is fact.
But the main reason why socialism
won't work here in the U.S. is that socialism is simply abject
tyranny
with incompetency thrown in for good, or should I say bad, measure.
Remember, socialism mandates a government controlled centralized
economy with its failures clearly seen in the a fore mentioned
Venezuela. Also, when folks are put on welfare...socialism's blood
brother of sorts... one tends to lose what's called the “American
work ethic”...as
well as the drive to see our children monetarily better off than we
are.Sowhy
bother getting a job when the “freebies
and hand-outs” now
serve one just as well, if not better, than what one would garner
through their own hard work.
And
something else AOC and her socialism groupies forget is that while
American-style capitalism has not and will not ever result in equal
distribution of wealth...it never was meant to do so...folks are
always free to aspire to and work towards something better as well as
to act in their own best self-interests. And if truth be told
equality for all is but a myth for there will always be a pecking
order that sees both politicians
and their cronies sitting on the top rung of the socioeconomic
ladder...equality be damned.
So while socialism will always remain about spending
other people's money that's not really what it's all
about for absolute control is what socialism needs as it prime
calling card in order for it to not only succeed but to last. And
without absolute control...power with no questions asked...socialism
eventually collapses from within just as we now see happening in
Venezuela...just as it's always happened in other countries where true
absolute control over the emotions of the populace was never really achieved.
And those like Ihan Omar and Alexandria
Ocasio-Cortez simply do not grasp the reality nor the dangers that
absolute control entails and without that reality their vision of
socialism is doomed to fail. Remember, throughout history both
absolute control and absolute power have always proved fleeting at
best...while the power of we American patriots to do what's right for
our country has never waned. And that's something those pushing for
socialism always, thankfully, seem to forget.

President Trump is on a “roll”...his approval rating as
I write this is up to 53% as even some Democrats are finallyaccepting the reality of the
good our president has done for both America's economy and for their
personal pocketbooks. And some mainstream Democrats...those who have
not yet totally bought into the socialist agenda of the Democrat hierarchy...have even come to understand the truth as to why a
southern border wall is so desperately needed. But there is one thing
that can negatively affect President Trump's “roll”...even
if it's just in the short term...and that is the fact that as
gasoline prices continue to rise Trump's approval rating could start
to fall.
And while the Democrats ever growing list of presidential hopefuls
starts to implode from within, even they could make up some ground if
gas prices maintain their current upward spiral. And upward they do go
with regular gasoline costing yet another five cents this week alone,
to reach a national average of $2.74, translating into being eight
cents higher than the corresponding time last year. And to make
matters worse, when you add in that the $2.74 price per gallon is in
and of itself 28 cents higher than just one month ago, a serious and
cannot be be ignored trend is emerging while demand for gasoline is
holding steady even as inventories continue to “tighten up,”
and it's doing so while the peak summer driving months are fast
approaching.
Translation: President Trump needs to do something... anything...to
help reverse this trend or it will not bode well if it continues into
2020.
So what is fueling this current trend...most seem to think it's
the never ending demand for
both oil and gas what with the world's energy needs ever increasing,
which in turn sees coming into play the old adage that when demand
increases for something a price hike is sure to follow. However,
others seem to think that it's oil and gas speculators who trade oil
futures for profit that are causing the prices to rise, while those
in the know say there simply are not enough speculators or combined
investment dollars to control the world's crude oil market or its
pricing neither in the long run or in the short-term. And
why...because what most forget is that oil speculators are actually
securities traders not securities holders, and while they obviously
do greatly profit when crude oil prices increase they still are not
the cause of the current gas price increase nor have they ever been
the cause in the past. So why then are gas
prices currently increasing when the price per barrel of oil itself
has not risen by any significant amount? The final answer lies within
the sum of its parts with the first all-important part being that
unfortunately our U.S. dollar is simply not worth what it used to be.
Remember, whenever the value of the dollar goes up, the price of oil
and gasoline goes down but when the dollar declines...as in its value
is lower compared to other currencies in the foreign exchange
market...the price of oil and gasoline goes up.
And that dollar decline
in value is sadly where we are right now. And with the oil markets
continuing to be priced in dollars coupled with the buying and
selling of oil also continuing to be done in dollars...the fact is
that with more actual dollars needed for purchasing crude oil that
increase in cost is passed on to the consumer at the pump.
Also
something not to be forgotten is that the valued price of the U.S.
dollar...the world's main global business trading currency and the
world's most stable reserve currency...was but half of what it was in
1990 as the Reagan presidency was coming to an end...now having
fallen a full 14% by the end of 2018. And as I write this article on
Wednesday, April 10th, the dollar has decreased even more, this time
by 0.07% to 96.9389 down from 97.0060 in the previous trading
session. Sad isn't it as during the Reagan years our dollar reached
an all time high of 164.72 in February 1985, then dropping to a
record low of 71.32 in April 2008 as we headed into the Obama/McCain
election cycle.
So,
why exactly is the dollar continuing to decline and why are gas
prices rising? First, while the two are forever tied together something that must not to
be overlooked is that during the Obama years way too much currency was
being printed without any
“treasure”
to back it, thus sending us into an inflationary mode with some ill
effects still lingering to this day no matter Trump's current robust
economy. And second, a large part of the dollar's decline in value is
due to the value of most G10 currencies* rising as the figurative
growth differentials between global economies start to converge...as
in equal out a bit...with the Japanese yen being the biggest gainer
value wise and us being the biggest loser even while the dollar
remains the a fore mentioned world's most stable reserve currency.
Simply,
if the dollar is not strengthened we could see gas prices going even
even higher, especially with it being highly unlikely that we will
anytime soon cut the cord tying us to Arab oil. And while we might
want to be independent of said Arab oil, at this point in time that's
not feasible what with both our current and projected future rates of
gasoline consumption also continuing to rise.
And
then to add into the simmering pot of gasoline prices rising there's
Venezuela, home to some of the biggest petroleum reserves in the
world.
Back
at the end of January, due to Venezuela's ongoing political
instability, President Trump rightfully enacted sanctions on
Petroleos de Venezuela (PdVSA), Venezuela's state-owned oil and
natural gas company and the parent company of U.S. based Citgo oil
company. And with our country being Venezuela's largest and most
important oil customer...accounting for 39% of the OPEC nation's
deliveries last year...and with Venezuela being the fourth-largest
source of foreign oil flowing into our country...the truth is that
imports of Venezuelan crude oil into the U.S. had already slowed down
even before the sanctions were imposed, something most don't know.
And
while many folks continue to think that because of our increased
shale oil production that we have plenty of crude oil to offset any
loss from Venezuela, what they don't realize is that the quality of
crude oil varies widely, and that many U.S. refiners rely on the type
of oil that Venezuela produces. For example, there are two main types
of oil, heavy** and light. So while we have much in the way of light
shale oil, we are in short supply of the heavier grades of crude oil
needed to produce diesel and other what's called “high-margin”
petroleum products. Now add in that a slowdown in
operations by refiners as they scramble to try and secure other
sources of the needed heavier oil grades, would itself lead to higher
prices for gas and diesel fuels...and it has.
So while we are less
dependent than we used to be on the once steady supply of oil from
Venezuela...a supply that helped to keep our gasoline prices
relatively low compared to other countries...the sanctions have to some degree still impacted
U.S. fuel production causing production costs themselves to rise
which in turn are now being reflected at the pump with that
reflection expected to see fuel prices rising even higher as summer's
high peak driving is right around the proverbial corner.
And
while an increase in crude oil supply into the U.S. is a must...a
must that could and most likely would see lower gas prices in the
short-term...it's not the much needed long term fix we truly need.
And when you add in the dollar decline coupled with the flow of
Venezuelan oil basically being cut off, there are but two feasible
solutions that remain...one is for OPEC to release more oil at a
lower price per barrel than it is now, and the other is that we must
increase oil production both from U.S. and Canadian shale and heavy
oil drilling as well. And we also need to build some new refineries
to cut down production costs, which in and of itself would help to
lower pump prices a bit, and anyway it's hard to believe that since
the 1980's no new refineries have been built in our country.
But
the bottom line is this...if something is not done to
bring gas prices down ASAP, California's current price of $3.80 per
gallon for regular gasoline will soon seem like chump change compared
to the real possibility of seeing $5.00 per gallon by the end of this
summer. And if that happens and does not reverse itself as we draw
nearer to the 2020 election, President Trump might see whomever
garners the Democrat nomination having a bit of “political ammo”
to fight back with as $5.00 per gallon of gasoline will negate any
gains made by Trump's tax cuts...as in any gains in monies put back into “We the People's” pockets.

goal...socialism replete with a single-payer health system as in
Medicare for all; the financially unsustainable and totally moronic
Green New Deal penned by the equally moronic socialist diva
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez; unrestricted, on demand, no questions asked
abortion; and wide open borders with the red carpet laid out for the
Democrats promised “free stuff” now
ripe for the illegals taking. But to see a socialist utopia come to
fruition any time in the near future, Democrats need four things
above all else...the masses behind them, a disarmed populace,
religion to be gone, and America's icons to be relegated to history's
forgotten past.
Translation: it's all about
votes...any incarnation of votes...always has been...always will be.
Willingly selling out America's
soul and America's wealth in exchange for votes...in exchange for
power...please don't forget that socialism is usually voted in by those on
the bottom rung of the socioeconomic ladder...folks who want what
the upper-rungers have but don't want to work for it. Most illegals
and millennials seem to fit that to a tee.
And I guarantee you that Pelosi
and crew will very soon start proposing serious legislature aimed at
fully taking our firearms away...the Second Amendment be damned.
Disarming 'We the People' is socialism's prerequisite must for
Democrat's know well that in order to succeed they must deny us the
ability to fight back. Always remember that securing an unarmed
populace was how Hitler rose to power then and how Venezuela's
Nikolas Maduro did the same now.
Also
for socialism to take hold not only must Democrats continue to “boo”
God...we
know socialists abhor both God Himself as well as religion...but
those who believe must be publicly mocked. And laying the groundwork
for that has already begun when the mayor of South Bend, Indiana,
Pete Buttigieg, was asked in a recent CNN TV interview if he believed
in Vice President Mike Pence's integrity as a Christian.
Saying in typical Democrat
double-speak...talking out of both sides of his mouth...that, "I
don't know it's really strange because I used to at least believe
that he believed, I disagreed with him ferociously on these things,
but I thought, well at least he believed in our institutions and he's
not personally corrupt," Buttigeig immediately added, "But
then how could he get on board with this presidency?" "Is
it that he stopped believing in Scripture when he started believing
in Donald Trump?"
Putting
even a modicum of doubt in the minds of the Christian faithful as
well as in the minds of the easily swayed within the Republican party
itself about the very character of our nation's second in command,
might with enough cajoling and media airplay leave some with a sense
of uneasiness about who are the good and bad guys. And if that
happens the Democrats could use that as weapon not just against
President Trump in 2020, but as a recruiting tool...using the words
“better us then Trump" as their mantra..to
aid in the birth of Democrat-Socialism...and to do so with no turning
back.
And
while worrying about America's icons seems like small potatoes in the
scope of things we anti-socialists need to worry about, the fact is
that by either removing them from the public venue or by totally
misrepresenting the truth not only aids socialism's agenda but
rewrites American history as well. And currently leading in that
rewriting is socialist diva Alexandrea Ocasio-Cortez who loves
shooting off her big mouth every chance she gets.
As a defamer of
America's best and a champion of her worst, this vile woman recently
stated at the 'South by Southwest Festival' in San Antonio, Texas,
that the policies of our beloved President Ronald Reagan “pitted”
the white working class against
African-Americans and Hispanics, and that he presented a “really
resentful vision of essentially black women who were doing nothing,
that were ‘sucks’ on our country.” And
not even one Democrat called her to task to reminder her that it was
President Reagan himself who initiated and signed into law Dr. Martin
Luther King Jr. Day as a national holiday. Talk about revising
history...talk about an unabashed hopeless fool.
But
even if somehow the issues of religion, disarmament, and ridding
America of its icons does come to pass, at this point in time, minus
the absence of a military coup or some other weaponized form of a
leftist power grab, even Democrats know that the implementation of
socialism itself...where a select few hold ultimate power and where
everyone else exists at the bottom of the socioeconomic ladder...will truly not be as easy a task as the newly sworn in miscreants think it
will be.
And
why...because socialism requires, at least on the surface, to be
legally arrived at via election results that seem above board and
legal but in realty are anything but. That's why at House Speaker
Nancy Pelosi's bidding the now Democrat controlled House rammed
through the recent bill allowing illegals to vote...huge numbers in
those votes after all. And while even they know their bill as of now
will fail in the Senate...sooner or later the promise and the lure of
“free stuff” will
overtake even the senses of the once sensible thus leaving the Senate
open to party control change.
Voting
last Thursday on HR1 the
“For the People Act”...an
act introduced by John Sarbanes (D) on January 3, 2019 on behalf of
the newly elected Democratic majority, this bill passed in the House
in a vote of 234-193 on March 8th, whereas Senate Majority Leader
Mitch McConnell immediately stated that he will
“never”
allow HR1
to come to vote on the Senate floor.
But
“never”
is a word that should “never”
be
used in the political arena for positions of power and loyalties
change, and as we all know some politicians are easily bought, paid for,
and sold.
Coming
replete with expansions
of voter registration...an illegal register to vote Democrat
free-for-all...this act also includes a major rewrite of campaign
finance laws while delving into election integrity and security as
well. And with the lure of “free
stuff”
again looming large...dangling it in front of the drooling masses in
fact...it will drive the sponges, the gimmee-gimmees, the lower-rung
folks, and of course the illegals...talk about foreigners influencing
our elections...to the polls in droves if...and only if...the
Democrats can somehow get it passed in the Senate. And if passed,
socialism 101 will soon follow as the Democrats will have enough
votes to turn any and all elections in their socialist favor.
Shades
of 1930's Germany come to life right here on American soil. Start
slow, make unrealistic promises to garner votes, and all else dubious
will then fall into place. And it will no longer matter that the
Constitution clearly states in Amendments 15.1, 19, 24.1, and 26.1,
that only
“citizens”...not
illegal foreigners...have
the right to vote. But then again once the Democrats start imputing
their socialist agenda into law the Constitution becomes but a memory
past as the greatest nation the world has ever known becomes mortally
wounded as she drops defeated to her knees.
We
cannot allow the dirty, deceitful, Democrats to do this to our...yes
our...not illegals...America. We must fight the Democrats socialist
agenda whether it be at the ballot box (which is the way it should
be) or with force if need and necessity deems it so, for we cannot and must not allow our
great republic to become what Venezuela has become...a socialist
driven hellhole...on the very brink of total collapse. We still
control the Senate...anyone got duct tape to help keep Rand Paul's big
mouth shut...and we still control the White House...and hopefully if
the planets align just right, and if the sun continues to rise in the
east and set in the west...the ballot box will be enough to stop
Democrat lawmakers from turning our Founding Father's dream of
freedom into their so-wanted socialist nation...a nation Barack HUSSEIN
Obama's “fundamental
changing of America” strived hard for us to be.

There's a song by Andrew Lloyd Webber
and Tim Rice about the life of Argentinian leader Eva Perón called
“Don't Cry for Me Argentina”...and today there should be a
new song called “Do Cry for Me Venezuela” for the country
once referred to as the “Venice of the Americas” has
turned into a third world cesspool and done so solely in the name of
socialism.
Socialism...where other people's money
fuels an economy and drives societal norms...that is until you run
out of said other people's money or in the case of Venezuelan
dictator Nikolas Maduro you don't see the handwriting on the
wall...handwriting as in the Venezuelan people have had enough.
Gotten into power in what many
believe was a rigged election, Nikolas Maduro...who followed the
infamous Hugo Chavez into power...started a second term in office on
January 10th of this year in what Venezuelans called a “boycotted
election”...withmany foreign governments refusing to recognize the election
results. In fact, on January 23rd, Maduo's challenger National
Assembly opposition candidate Juan Guaido...whom Maduro describes as
a U.S.-backed puppet...invoked article 233 of the constitution to assume
an interim presidency thus declaring Maduro a usurper. Then he declared
and swore himself in as Venezuela's rightful interim ruler, at which time President Trump publicly recognized Juan
Guaido as Venezuela's duly-elected leader as did other Western
nations, all while Maduro accused Guaido of staging a coup and
ordering his arrest.
But Guaido...whose bank accounts were
immediately frozen...secretly entered into neighboring Columbia
in defiance of both a government travel ban and said orders for his
arrest. And he did so with help from his supporters within
the ranks of Venezuela's armed forces in order to try to bring
humanitarian aid into Venezuela, but sadly, as we all know, his
attempt failed.
And while that first attempt failed,
just this past Tuesday, Juan Guaido announced from Bogota, Columbia
that after his successful meeting with regional leaders and with Vice
President Mike Pence, he will return to Venezuela in the coming days
and resume his political activities in open defiance of a Venezuelan
Supreme Court order. “My role and my duty is to be in Caracas
despite the risks,” this brave man said for Juan Guaido knows well
that he risks being arrested immediately upon his return as long as
Nikolas Muduro remains in power.
But Maduro's days could be
numbered...wishful thinking perhaps...for while some of his own
military have starting to turn on him and defect to neighboring
countries...more on that in a bit...others loyal to Maduro continue
to fire on unarmed civilians who have no way to fight back. And why
is that...because in 2012 dictator-for-life
Hugo Chavez had his “rubber-stamp
legislature”
pass the “Control
of Arms, Munitions and Disarmament Law”...a
law that
stripped Venezuelan citizens of every firearm and round of ammunition
they owned...thus leaving them helpless to defend themselves.
So
while Venezuela's general public foolishly supported said legislation
back then, I wager that now they truly regret that support...support
that translated into nothing but total civilian disarmament...something the Democrats want to do to us here. And we know...or
should know... that a disarmed populace is a dangerous thing
indeed for freedom's basic premise holds that without firearms as a
check against government tyranny all freedoms are lost...something
Venezuelans are now sadly bearing witness to.
And so this once prosperous nation is
now, under Muduro's leadership, in total economic ruin. Simply,
oil-rich Venezuela...an OPEC member...is broke, people are starving,
and even basic supplies and necessities cannot be had anywhere. And
chaos reigns in the streets as the far left of Venezuela's populace
is being fueled on by government lies that it's the U.S...and most
especially President Trump...who is behind all the country's ongoing
economic distress. But nothing could be further from the truth as
it's Nikolas Maduro and his fellow corrupt government cronies who are
the villains here and who are blocking and destroying not only U.S.
humanitarian aid but any and all aid coming into the
country... humanitarian aid government forces are destroying and in
some cases setting fire to instead of it going to Venezuela's
starving people.
And so abject punishment is being
used against starving people who no longer want to support the
government's socialist party line, even while Maduro himself keeps
saying that there is no crisis, there is no food or medicine
shortages. But surely there is for Venezuela remains in a
“hyperinflationary economic meltdown” that has led
to widespread food and medicine shortages throughout the entirety of
the country leaving Venezuela's citizens to wait on “breadlines”
for what little rations there are left to give out.
“Just
days ago,
as the world watched, the tyrant in Caracas danced as his henchmen
burned truckloads of food and medicine, and murdered
civilians”...Saturday was a tragic day for the families of those
who lost their lives...It was also a tragic day for the suffering
people of Venezuela.”

And this very destruction can be
witnessed as per an occurrence that happened last week on a bridge
along the Colombia-Venezuela border...a bridge that saw Nikolas Maduro's
government forces actually using force to block U.S. shipping
containers containing humanitarian aid packages from being delivered
to distribution centers. And not only did that raise the ire of
President Trump but the ire of Brazil as well, which in turn led the
Brazilian government to formally “condemn” Maduro's
government forces who still continue to block all aid shipments from
crossing the border.
And it was that very condemnation
that led directly to last week's violence along Venezuela's frontier
border with Brazil, where in one incident four people where killed by
gunfire and another 24 were injured after “colectivos”...as
in pro-government militias... opened fire on civilians and military
alike. That's in addition to the gunfire near the Simón BolÃvar
bridge, where Maduro's forces reportedly also shot off volleys of
tear gas which resulting in dozens of people being treated for tear
gas inhalation as well as for injuries that occurred from the
stampede of those trying to escape. Sporadic gunfire was also being
reported as being heard in other zones near the western border
between the two Latin American countries.
And all this violence has led to at
least two, if not more, Venezuelan national guard soldiers defecting
to Brazil, which is in addition to the 60+ military officials (as I write this) who
have already defected to Colombia after pro-Maduro forces opened fire
at yet still another border crossing near Venezuela's border with Columbia.
So while all this violence directly stems from the many failed
attempts to bring in humanitarian aid from Venezuela's neighboring
countries, it's also a ploy of sorts to test, if you will, the
military’s loyalty to Nikolas Maduro by encouraging his government forces
to disobey the orders to keep the much needed aid out...basically to
end Maduro's cruel means of using starvation as the fastest way to
capitulation.
So while Maduro himself is now saying
that he's cutting off all diplomatic ties with Colombia and that Colombian diplomats will be expelled from Caracas post-haste, his
anger against the U.S. is growing what with Columbia and now Brazil
siding with the U.S. and joining in the call for Maduro and his
socialist government's ouster as well.
And with Maduro now also facing
international pressure to step down after the world was witness to
last week's teargassing and gunning down of civilians as well as
government forces setting fire to and destroying much needed
humanitarian aid, President Trump is rightfully continuing our
support of the people of Venezuela by imposing additions sanctions on
Maduro...specifically sanctions that block oil assets in the U.S.
owned or controlled by Venezuela’s state-owned oil company in order
to cut off Maduro and his cronies from all oil revenue sources,
while at the same to preserving those critical assets for the future
of the Venezuelan people.
And know that President Trump has assured
the people of Venezuela that we will continues to provide
humanitarian assistance to them and that food and medicine will
remain exempt from any sanctions we impose.
So
as Colombia just this past Wednesday, called on the U.N. to
take action to end Venezuela’s humanitarian crisis and bring about
a political transition leading to free elections, some might ask why
all the interest in this one country when other countries are in as a
bad a shape and probably worse.
Do the words the “Monroe
Doctrine” ring a bell...if not let me explain.
The "Monroe Doctrine" is simply a key
principle of U.S. foreign policy, originated by President James
Monroe in 1823, that states that any intervention by external powers
in the politics of the Americas is a potentially hostile act against
the U.S.
The U.S. established diplomatic
relations with Venezuela in 1835, and it would be a huge mistake to
treat the crisis in Venezuela as solely an internal issue with no
“hostile” consequences to the U.S. because “hostile”
consequences to the U.S. are many.
For example, Nikolas Maduro's
government, just like the strong-armed government of his predecessor
Hugo Chavez, is a sponsor of FARC, the Revolutionary Armed Forces of
Columbia, who are on the FBI terrorist list. This self-proclaimed
Marxist-Leninist organization...Columbia's largest rebel group...not
only continues to try to overthrow the democratic government of
Colombia contrary to their signing a supposed peace deal back in September 2016, but still makes money...lots of
money...from drug trafficking and kidnapping...truly “hostile
acts.”
And while most of us are well aware of the serious drug
situation at our southern border, what many of us are not aware of is
that two nephews of the first lady of Venezuela were sentenced to 18 years in prison in November 2017 following their convictions in New York on U.S. drug trafficking charges...charges of transporting a very large
amount of cocaine into our country...on Maduro's orders perhaps.
By willingly confessing their
connections to FARC shows just how “hostile” Maduro and
his government are to the U.S. for he knows well the dangers drugs
pose and the situation at our border, but as long as drug money lines
his pockets...and know that it does...he simply doesn't care. And if
that money happens to come from capitalist-hating, America-hating FARC so much
the better for that allows Maduro to placate the “hostles”
he sponsors while at the same time stabbing the U.S., who he sees as
“hostiles” in the back. And if for no other reason than this
the Monroe Doctrine surely applies.
Another example of outright “hostile
acts” towards our country can be seen in the economic policies
of the Maduro government itself, who again like with Chavez's
government, has complete control over Venezuela's key oil industry.
And not only has Muduro seized control of the oil but he has also
seized control of some of the most important adjunct factories in the
country, thus allowing him to institute controlled-price
policies...policies that serve him not us well. And with Venezuela
being the third largest exporter of oil into the U.S. that means that
some American money we pay to Venezuela is surely being used by
Maduro to fund terrorist groups like FARC who are outwardly “hostile”
to American interests, something Maduro relishes in.
And dare we not forget that simply by
default, the continuing instability in Venezuela means more
uncertainty for the energy industry in our country as we, sadly,
still rely on foreign oil for a certain percentage of our energy
needs, and Maduro knows this as fact.
Also, not to be forgotten is the
humanitarian abuses themselves...abuses that have already seen more
than three million people fleeing Venezuela since 2015, with that
number increasing to over five million by the end of 2019...so says
the U.N. And guess where a great number of those people are fleeing
to...America. And while not a “hostile act” per se, it
will still put a strain on our economy...an economy already strained
by illegals crossing our border.
But the most “hostile act” of all has yet to fully be
seen for while the unrest in Venezuela continues and as the U.S. is
being blamed for all Venezuela's woes being overlooked is the fact
that America's enemies Russia, China, and even Iran are starting to
make inroads into Venezuela. And their presence being so close to
our our country is the most unsettling “hostile act” of
all.
So as President Trump reaffirms that America will stand by Juan
Guaido, by Venezuela, and by her people, Vice President Mike Pence
summed it up best last week in Bogota when he met with Guaido.
Saying, “To the
good people of Venezuela: Seek your
freedom...We will go with you....You go with God. Vayan
con Dios.”
And what
more can I say to that than...amen.
