...But why did Obama and his minions go to the great lengths that they did to try and bring Donald Trump down? Mainly it's because Hillary was supposed to win the 2016 presidency and be but a surrogate for Obama's third term in office, thus seeing his socialist driven “Transformation of America” objectives reach fruition...but she wasn't able to deliver what Obama and others thought would be an easy win. So, it's possible that some form of “face-saving” was needed to not just weaken the scope of Trump's overwhelming win over Hillary Clinton, but at the same time would help to keep the party faithful in line thus preventing a fracture within the Democrat party itself.

And not unlike a lover scorned, the payback for Trump's taking away Obama's dream had to be more than just a routine “bitch slap” across Trump's face. On the morning of Friday, July 18th, National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard released “declassified documents” garnered from the intelligence community proving, without a shadow of a doubt, the existence of what was called “manufactured and politicized intelligence” relating to 2016's “Russia Hoax.” You remember the infamous “hoax” where Democrat party loyalists and operatives tried to “subvert” not only Donald Trump’s lawfully won election, but tried to destroy the man himself, his family, and to undermine what was to be his presidency.

And they did so even though Obama and those in his administration knew well that the narrative they were putting out about Trump working in tandem with Russia to win the election was but a maliciously fabricated lie. In fact, as per the released documents, there exists “overwhelming evidence” that these folks knew all along that there was no threat whatsoever of Russia “directly manipulating the vote count in 2016” via a cyber attack or by any other means, and that Russia would not be able to shift the outcome of any U.S. election or vote no matter who wanted it done. And the nonsense about Vladimir Putin wanting to help Trump “win the election” was nowhere to be found simply because it did not exist, yet it was being reported as fact in the liberal mainstream media.

“The information we are releasing today clearly shows there was an effort at the highest levels of government to subvert the will of the American people.” So said Tulsi Gabbard right before she released 114 pages of what, at times, was a slew of somewhat heavily redacted and sometimes completely blocked out information. And yet when read, said findings were able to prove to those who read the report in full, which of course I did, that not only was there a blatant abuse of power committed by those loyal to Obama, but that the deliberate undermining of our country had at its core from which all revolved around the very man whom, I still believe, is responsible for all the problems we as a country face today. And who is that man but none other than Barack Hussein Obama himself... who with his “Transformation of America” agenda in hand, did knowingly, willingly, and with malicious intent set the stage for the “weaponization” of our intelligence community against ”We the People,” with Donald Trump being the conduit by which to do so.

Remember, “collusion” has always proven to run deep between DHS, FBI, CIA, NSA, and those whose loyalties were then and still are today to Obama...the very man who appointed most of them to the positions they held.

“The implications of this are frankly nothing short of historic.”

So said Tulsi Gabbard on Fox's 'Sunday Morning Futures' a week ago.

And to Tulsi's statement I say, no truer words spoken for the Obama administration was so riddled with corruption that included in the released report was a key document sent to top intelligence officials very soon after Hillary's overwhelming loss to Trump that tasked said officials with creating an assessment as “per the President’s request ” ...meaning Obama...about the “tools Moscow used and actions it took to influence the 2016 election,” even while knowing that absolutely nothing of the sort had occurred.

Cleverly orchestrated “collusion” plain and simple, and every person involved in trying to take down duly elected President Donald J. Trump...including then President Obama's former Secretary of State and Trump's opponent Hillary Clinton (whose campaign helped to fund the research needed), then Mr. “Steele Dossier” himself aka Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, then FBI Director James Comey (whom I believe also deliberately “mishandled” the investigation into Hillary's email server), then CIA Director John Brennan, and then National Security Adviser Susan Rice...must all not only be investigated but must be criminally prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Why so...because with such nastiness and what I believe amounts to “subversion” against the U.S. government now definitely proven to have happened back in 2016, there remains a possibility that if left unchecked it could happen again in 2028 unless certain guilty individuals are the recipients of much needed legal punishment. And this, in my opinion, includes all the aforementioned individuals being charged with “treason: for not doing so is the willful covering up of a crime committed,

But why do I believe that “treason” has entered into the mix? The answer is because it was key members of the Obama administration who, on his orders...written orders...deliberately and with malice intended tried to “fix” the 2016 election by both “manipulating and withholding” key intelligence information relating to the knowingly aforementioned false narrative of Russian interference in said election. In other words, and thanks to the now declassified documents having been released, Barack Obama...the man who seems to think that the law does not apply to him...along with his minions actions or lack thereof...constitutes, in my opinion, as being “acts of treason” in the sense of their having not only willfully betrayed the allegiance they are Constitutionally“presumed to owe” to the United States, but that they have, as per “18 USC Ch. 115” as it applies to“Treason, Sedition, and Subversive Activities” …conspired together to “fix” the 2016 presidential election by willfully subverting our election process via their manufacturing and deliberately promoting a knowingly false narrative that Russia was interfering in said election.

Simply, Obama and his minions named in the disclosed document must now be called to task for not to do so means that the rule of law only applies to some but not to all. And with Director Gabbard having publicly and rightfully stating that this issue should be of concern to all Americans regardless of party affiliation, along with the fact that all documents collected are now in the hands of both AG Pam Bondi...who has discretion regarding what to do with said “criminal referrals”...and the FBI...Tulsi's words “to deliver the accountability that President Donald Trump, his family, and the American people deserve”...show's it's the morally right thing to do. Also, not only will it help to set the record straight as to the truth about the Democrats having deliberately manufactured evidence to sabotage the Trump presidency, but it will prove to all that no one...including Barack Obama...is above the rule of law.

And while the public's reaction to the document's release was fast in coming the Democrats, of course, tried to downplay its findings including Barack Obama himself who, courtesy of a spokesperson, issued a statement a few days after the documents release that,“Out of respect for the office of the presidency, our office does not normally dignify the constant nonsense and misinformation flowing out of this White House with a response,” but that, “these claims are outrageous enough to merit one. These bizarre allegations are ridiculous and a weak attempt at distraction.” A distraction to some but, in my opinion, Obama's words are but a distraction trying to mask what will surely be yet another attempt at a cover-up.

Why so...because the truth must never be deemed a distraction, and that Barack Obama's words are just another in a sure to come series of what is expected to be just more in an ongoing series of “divert and deflect ploys”... “ploys” encompassing his hoped for continued indoctrination of the party faithful.

And as for President Trump's reaction to what was the first documents release, Trump stated that Obama and several senior intelligence officials still involved in the ongoing 2016 investigation, “may face prosecution” due to the declassification of new documents having revealed their knowledge of the “collusion narrative’s falsehood.” Truth simply stated...truth that payback could rightfully be a bitch for“They tried to rig the election, and they got caught. And there should be very severe consequences for that.” Simple words, truthful words, words that I hope are not somehow swept under the proverbial “political rug.”

In fact, in the scope things revealed, what Tulsi Gabbard released on July 18th makes both Nixon's “Watergate scandal” and the Clinton's “Whitewater scandal' seem like a mere walk in the park

What Obama and his loyalists did to Donald Trump was not only try to rig and then falsify the 2016 presidential election results, but to then ruin his presidency and his reputation after he, surprisingly to them, won. And this after the fact “collusion” aspect itself took place in a secret December 9, 2016 meeting where the previously folks gathered together to make-up lies and innuendos, and pass them off as “truth.” And to add to Obama's now woes, last week President Trump “formally cautioned” Obama against meddling in current U.S. foreign policy matters, warning him that doing so could involve possible “Hatch Act” violations being leveled against him. So Obama best mind his “p and q's” for again payback would surely not be pretty.

So as we now wait to see how this all plays out...especially in regards to Obama hopefully being formally charged...all I can say is, “case not yet closed.”

The Verdict v. The Constitution

,,,Simply, the “witch hunt” now turned into what I call a “political lynching” thanks to this anything but an “impartial jury” let alone being a trial of merit, saw our former and now hoped to be next president being unanimously found guilty on all 34 charges levied against him. And with not a single dissenting voice amongst the jury, this leads me to believe that either the jury was somehow “tampered with” during the deliberations stage, or that the verdict was actually prearranged before the trial even began courtesy of the jury likely being comprised of Democrats and Biden supporters, as were the prosecutors, court staff, and judge.

A fair trial with an impartial jury of Trump's peers the Constitution trampling Democrats would never allow, and when that's coupled with how fast the guilty verdict was actually reached, proves to me that Donald J. Trump's constitutional rights were indeed being denied. And when you add in the actual one-sided “gag order” coupled with truth being silenced by a judge who overruled each and every defense objection made, my eyes were opened to what the charges, trial, and verdict were really all about right from the beginning...Read the entire article and see video here.

The Verdict v. The Constitution

Let me began by saying that the Democrats hoped for guilty verdict did happen as I knew it would...the trial was in Democrat party controlled New York City after all. But what the Democrats forgot to factor into their misplaced celebration was the fact that the “guilty on all 34 charges” not only helped assure that Donald J. Trump will be reelected president come this November, but that the Supreme Court most likely will overturn the verdict after the New York Court of Appeals does not. And why do I say the Appeals Court will not...because this court is as far to the left as is the New York State Criminal Court.

So, in time, Trump's case will most likely end up at the Supreme Court but only if it meets certain criteria. But first know that neither the Supreme Court nor any federal court can “re-litigate” the facts of a case or overturn its ruling just because they believe the state court got it wrong. This simply means that for the Supreme Court to even review Trump's, New York “Hush-Money” case decision there must either be a “substantial” federal question involved...as in a constitutional question...or a federal law itself must have been violated...otherwise they have no jurisdiction to do so. But in Trump's case, and in my opinion, not just one but three of Trump's constitutional rights were violated in regards to the First, Fifth, and Sixth Amendments. More on that in a bit.

Second, and again in my opinion, the Supreme Court will take Trump's case but, unfortunately, it will take time to hear because legally “due process” must run it course. So while the New York Court of Appeals is the next step in said process...and while I'm sure their verdict will not waiver from the Criminal Court's decision...the SCOTUS does have the authority to review the proceedings of any state criminal court through what's known as “habeas review.”* And in Trump's case this is where the constitutional question will arise regarding what is called “proper benefits”** and were they afforded to him...and I say emphatically...“no”...they were not.

The bottom line...the Supreme Court can only overturn the “Hush-Money” verdict if Trump and his attorneys can successfully argue that either a federal law was violated or broken by the court, or that if one of his Constitutional rights was infringed upon. But even those come with a caveat for the Supreme Court can only take Trump's case after...I repeat after...all of the New York courts have had a chance to legally address those arguments themselves.

Brace yourself folks for whether we like it or not Donald Trump has a long journey to travel in order to both clear his name and see the 34-count verdict being overturned.

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

So says the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, the very amendment considered to be the most important part of the “Bill of Rights” for it protects, as per James Madison, our fundamental “rights of conscience” as in the freedom to believe and to freely express different ideas. And it's here where...in my opinion...Trump's rights were denied him courtesy of Manhattan Criminal Court Justice Juan Merchan...a Democrat shill who's also a big Biden campaign donor. Simply, Trump's “First Amendment,” all important, “right to free speech”...a right applied to the states via the 14th Amendment courtesy of it's “due process clause”...which also protects an individual's right to a trial by his peers... with government officials including judges being prohibited from regulating or restricting (in this case Trump's) speech or other expression based solely upon said individuals content or viewpoint.

And with Merchan's selectively placing and then enforcing “gag orders” on Trump and his attorneys alone...remember none were allowed to speak about the charges, the trial, the witnesses, the prosecutors, the court staff, or the judge's family...coupled with his lawyers also not being allowed to mention to the jury that the prosecution of former President Trump was “novel, unusual or unprecedented,” even though a number of liberal law professors, newspapers, and former prosecutors had all conceded that the Bragg prosecution did indeed depend on a “novel interpretation” of state law. Using fear of arrest or high dollar fines to keep Trump and his defense team in line, know that Merchan placed no such orders on the prosecution nor any of its players who were free to speak, tweet, or do interviews whenever, wherever, and on whatever topic they deemed to do so.

Simply, Trump's voice was silenced, and in silencing his voice his “Fifth” and “Sixth” amendment's rights were also denied to him.

“No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.”

These are the exact words of the “Fifth Amendment” which is not only part of the “Bill of Rights,” but actually breaks down one's individual rights into five “rights and protections,” these being the right to a jury trial when charged with a crime; the right to protection against double jeopardy; the protection against self-incrimination; the right to a fair trial; and protection against the taking of property by the government without compensation. And while the “Fifth Amendment's” so called “due process clause” requires the government to practice equal protection for all under the law, it also limits government powers from focusing solely upon “criminal procedures;” while also referring to the procedures that government entities must follow before depriving someone of their “life, liberty, or property.”

We know how Trump's “First Amendment” rights were denied him, but how exactly were his “Fifth Amendment” rights violated? It's my belief that his all-important right to a “fair trial” was indeed violated. How so...remember there were 34 separate charges involved and yet what should have taken days to properly go through, digest, and discuss saw the needed “unanimous” verdict being reached within but a few hours spread over a mere two days. In other words, even after the defense proved that no crime had taken place; even after the defense shred the testimony of the prosecution's star witnesses; even after Justice Merchan's disallowing all objectives put forth by the Trump's defense team; and even with a final undisclosed and unheard charge being thrown in after the defense had rested its case... meaning there was no chance of rebuttal...former President Donald J. Trump was found guilty on all 34 charges.

“In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defense.”

So says the “Sixth Amendment” which gives citizens a series of rights in criminal trials... rights which include the rights to a fast and public trial by an impartial jury; the right to be aware of the criminal charges leveled against them; the right to confront any and all witnesses during the trial; the right to have witnesses appear at the trial; and the right to legal representation.

And while some “talking heads” are now saying that in this particular case the jury may have been “persuaded” by the prosecution’s argument that the true crime being covered up was not just one of Trump having “paid off” a porn star for her silence, but was actually an orchestrated scheme to defraud the American people in an attempt to conceal information about the true character and conduct of the Republican hoped to be presidential nominee. But I say “no way” for we all knew about Trump's brashness, his ego, his questionable but not illegal “supposed” sexual dalliances, as well as his need for all to circle in orbit around him...just as we all knew and still know how under Trump's presidency the economy soared; inflation was the lowest in 40-years; how we were energy independent; how job numbers were at an all time high; how the border fiasco was held somewhat in check; and how no new wars appeared on his watch...just to name a few.

In other words, we all knew what we were getting with Donald J. Trump, and what we got was America being made great again...that is until all went south with the fraud ridden 2020 election.

Remember, Hillary was to be Obama's third and hopefully fourth term in office...eight more years to lock into completion his “fundamental transformation of America.” But with Trump's win Obama was not only forced to wait four years for the fool that is Joe Biden to be the one dancing on his puppet strings, but the realization that without some sort of interference...as in criminal charges levied...Obama would lose it all.

Donald J. Trump has been maliciously and vindictively targeted to see the inside of a jail cell with the timeline itself not being conducive to fast tracking Supreme Court interference. Only Obama is smart enough to have put this legal shaming scenario into play, but Trump will have the last laugh for not only has Obama underestimated Trump's growing support, but his plan actually backfired after the constitutionally flawed guilty verdict was rendered. How so...Trump now leads Biden by six points amongst voters in the key battleground states...meaning the hand writing is on the wall that not only will Joe Biden lose in November, but that Obama's dream of a fourth term in office will not come to fruition. 

Think I'm wrong...prove it. Bet you can't...case closed.

Removing McCarthy...For Better Or Worse

Last Tuesday night, no matter which presidential candidate one supports, we witnessed one of the saddest commentaries regarding today's Republican party as eight “supposedly” conservative Republican* congresspersons voted with the Democrats to remove House Speaker Kevin McCarthy from his position via a political maneuver known as a “motion to vacate the chair.” And in their doing so these eight individuals sadly sent a loud and clear message that the infighting within the party will continue on while not caring that with their votes the Democrats have again become the defacto ruling party of the House of Representatives.

And while these eight Republicans...whose plan was conceived and implemented by Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz...had a specific and in a Gaetz's case a personal reason for ousting McCarthy as Speaker...my presidential nominee of choice, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, surprisingly to some, also supported McCarthy's removal but not for the same reasons as did Gaetz and crew. And yes, I mention DeSantis here because McCarthy's removal does indeed have an effect on the presidential nomination race.

Saying in an interview with Scripps News following the vote, DeSantis, in his opinion, did not see McCarthy losing the speakership just because of his willingness to work with the Democrats per se, but because he was “too closely tied to Donald Trump.” And while his words do, on the surface, seem a bit odd especially with Gaetz and crew being die-hard Trump supporters, DeSantis' reasons do have validity. How so...as per DeSantis, McCarthy was “someone that Donald Trump backed and put in that position,” but before then DeSantis was a member of Congress (2013-2018) representing Florida's 6th Congressional District, and was also a founding member of the “House Freedom Caucus.” And it was here where the two men clashed on numerous occasions especially over McCarthy's failure to “extract concessions” in exchange for the caucus members support if he were ever to vie for the speakership. And that alone, in my opinion, is exactly what led to McCarthy's downfall.

How so? Gaetz's drive to remove McCarthy was indeed driven by hate coupled with an overt need for personal “revenge”...“revenge” not only based upon his belief that Kevin McCarthy does remain on the opposite side of the conservative spectrum...including but not limited to McCarthy’s backing of the Democrats “stopgap spending bill”...but as “payback” for McCarthy's failure to intervene on Gaetz's behalf during a House inquiry looking into allegations of “sexual misconduct” and Gaetz's misuse of political funds.

And while “personal revenge” and “payback” should have no place in political decision making...it being childish “tit-for-tat” nonsense at best...the fact is that on too many occasions said nonsense does remain. But sometimes “revenge” can be truly altruistic in nature, and such is the case with Gov. Ron DeSantis' agreeing, in principal, with Matt Gaetz that McCarthy was not ousted based upon one specific issue per se, but because key promises he made over the years were broken. I liken this to the promises made by Donald Trump when he was campaigning...promises made that never came to fruition... one example being Trump's not draining the “swamp” which actually grew stronger when he was in office.

But the key difference between DeSantis' reasoning and that of Matt Gates is that DeSantis unlike Gaetz is not...I repeat not...opposed to bipartisanship. And DeSantis has proven that bipartisanship can indeed work via numerous bipartisan votes in both Florida's House and Senate that together not only got the job done...for example Florida's having a budget surplus and also having paid off a good portion of its debt...unlike Gaetz's idol Donald Trump who when president worked with McCarthy to add $7 trillion in debt in just a mere four years time.

And while I personally can accept Gov. DeSantis' reasoning even while not agreeing with him one hundred percent, I did cut McCarthy a wee bit of slack in his role as Speaker of the House because I am a constitutional Republican with conservative leanings and not a far right Matt Gaetz style “supposed” conservative per se. However, I cannot abide the witch hunt style tactics Matt Gaetz used to unseat Kevin McCarthy, including his calling McCarthy “a creature of the swamp”...the devil incarnate if you will. 

Why so...simply because against Matt Gaetz's wishes McCarthy dared to work out a compromise with the Democrats to keep the government up and running for 45 more days. To Gaetz and crew “compromise” is a dirty word as they ignore the fact that the most successful deals made are when give and take happens from both sides of the political aisle, and done so in the best interest of “We the American People.” And in this particular case Gaetz and his people forgot that the spending bill in question was criticized by both some House Republican and Democrat lawmakers, and that the 45-day extension might well have resulted in an acceptable bipartisan decision.

Also forgotten...and this is important...is that the Democrats not only tend to put party loyalty first before the individual, but that they rally together in unison when needed, which is a key factor in many of their successful election wins. And sadly, too many of we Republicans still tend to either herald or demonize individuals instead of not only uniting behind the party and its platform, but in choosing who the best candidates are during a specifically given time frame and race.

Now here I must state that I truly do believe workable bipartisanship of the kind that Reagan saw during his administration is what both parties should always be striving for. A pipe dream perhaps for I know that will not happen as long as nonsense like we witnessed last week reeks not of substance but solely of “revenge politics.” And while Republicans do need to grow a backbone and stand up to the Democrats on major issues of contention, ousting the Speaker of the House...especially at this most critical of times as we head into the 2024 election...was not the right thing to do. Why so...because the theatrics of last week actually played into what the Democrats wanted, as in the continuing fracturing of the already fractured Republican party thanks to, whether some like it or not, Donald Trump's entry into the 2024 presidential race. And again why so...because Trump is who the Democrats want as the nominee because the mechanisms for his loss have had four years to be put into place, something Gaetz and crew failed to take into account.

And Matt Gaetz...a man who like Trump craves and relishes in being the center of media attention...is not as smart as he purports himself to be for someone with true political savvy, whether knowingly or not, would not fall into the Democrats trap set. And the irony in all this is that in Gaetz's wanting McCarthy out because he strove for bipartisanship, Gaetz and this newest deemed “Gang of Eight” actually did the very same thing that they accused McCarthy of doing, because they not only sided but voted with the Democrats against one of their own.

How so...with all the Democrats voting to oust McCarthy they still were eight votes short of the majority number needed, but when Matt Gaetz and crew added their eight votes for removal, the 208 “yea” Democrat votes became 216 votes vs. the Republican 200 “nay” votes, and thus McCarthy's fate was now sealed. In other words, Kevin McCarthy was officially ousted as Speaker of the House not by his fellow House Republicans, but by Matt Gaetz and his people siding with the Democrats who actually sided with Gaetz against McCarthy...talk about bipartisanship of the most convoluted, devious, and ironic kind.

And don't think Matt Gaetz didn't know this would be the final tally for he's more cunning than most suspect for only a cunningly devious mind could conjure up a plan to oust a man from office whose good deeds have far outweighed the bad.

Remember, there's a difference between standing strong for ones convictions and abjectly refusing to work with the other side of the aisle...Gov. DeSantis has proven just how successfully bipartisanship can work. And while Matt Gaetz did have some rightful bones to pick regarding the Democrats ongoing excessive federal spending...he simply handled it the wrong way. 

And as far as Gaetz is personally concerned, besides his being driven by revenge against McCarty for his willing to work with the Democrats on some key issues, the fact remains that Matt Gaetz in actuality is indeed a cowardly sort who so loves to talk the talk but fails to take needed actions. Case in point...while Gaetz did spearhead the removing of McCarthy he still does not have the fortitude nor the courage to even try to take McCarthy's place and correct what he believes is wrong...wrongs that can be easily remedied if all “appropriation bills”...if all government spending bills proposed...were “line itemized” instead of being presented as an all or nothing package

.

So now as we wait to see who the next Speaker of the House will be...either Reps. Jim Jordan or Steven Scalise are more than acceptable to me...the issue that must remain in the forefront of this particular political discourse is that somehow, someway, not only must all Republican infighting come to an end, but acceptable bipartisanship must be something we all strive for as no one side should dictate the entirety of the political discourse. And that must come replete with compromise not capitulation on the part of both parties involved, because if both sides of the aisle...if both Republicans and Democrats...do not start working together for the good of both “We the People” and our country, than we can simply kiss our “republic” goodbye and herald in the age of Obama's “transformation of America” come to fruition.
