US Attorney for DC Jeanine Pirro Offers Amazing Update on Trump's DC Crime Crackdown
Amy Curtis / Townhall Tipsheet

United States Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro shared a great update on the Trump administration's push to clean up the streets of our nation's capital, noting that an approach to crime that actually arrests and jails criminals makes streets safer for law-abiding citizens.

"Here I am in D.C.," Pirro says, "and we're still talking about the surge. It's been a little over three months, from August 7th to November 17, and the number of arrests are 6,362. The number of guns seized are 610 guns."

"Now, you've got to put that into perspective and I'm going to do that by comparing the numbers from what it was in 2023," Pirro continues. "The violent crimes were 60 percent higher in 2023 than they are right now as a result of the surge. Carjackings in 2023 were 80 percent higher. Homicides were 72 percent higher. And violent gun crimes were 75 percent higher." Read more and see Xs and videos here.

Trump admin provides $1B federal loan to restart Three Mile Island nuclear reactor
Restarting the Three Mile Island reactor would power equivalent of 800,000 homes by 2027
/ FOXBusiness

The Trump administration said Tuesday that it is providing a $1 billion loan to Constellation Energy to help restart the nuclear reactor at the former Three Mile Island plant in Pennsylvania.

Constellation reached an agreement in late 2024 with Microsoft to restart the 835-megawatt reactor, which ceased operations in 2019 but wasn't fully decommissioned, and would offset the electricity consumption of Microsoft's data center. The other unit at the power plant, which was renamed the Crane Clean Energy Center, closed in 1979 after an accident.

The $1 billion loan was issued by the Energy Department's Loan...Read  more here.

Trump Dropped Some Major News Amid Saudi Crown Prince's Visit to the White House
Matt Vespa / Townhall Tipsheet

Our great friend, Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, visited the White House, and it did not disappoint. MBS was there to reaffirm the kingdom’s commitment to the United States, adding that his nation will invest $1 trillion with the United States. It was also vintage Trump as he sparred with the media over this relationship. Also, the media is once again obsessed with the killing of Jamal Khashoggi. Sorry, I don’t care. We got $1 trillion worth of investment, and only a fool would turn that down because some journalist who was causing trouble got chopped up (via Axios):

"President Trump said "a lot of people didn't like" journalist Jamal Khashoggi during a Tuesday meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS).

Why it matters: The 2018 murder of Khashoggi was among the reasons for heightened tension between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia during the Biden administration, which released a report in 2021 that concluded MBS approved the order to "capture or kill" the Saudi journalist.." House Votes Overwhelmingly to Release the Epstein Files, but There Was One Holdout
Matt Vespa / Townhall Tipsheet

With President Trump giving the green light, it was a forgone conclusion that this vote to release the Epstein files would pass. They already had the votes, but with the president’s blessing, all the votes lined up in favor of this motion. There was one lone Republican who voted ‘no,’ Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA), on due process grounds. The final vote was 427-1.

Higgins explained:

I have been a principled “NO” on this bill from the beginning. What was wrong with the bill three months ago is still wrong today. It abandons 250 years of criminal justice procedure in America. As written, this bill reveals and injures thousands of innocent people – witnesses, people who provided alibis, family members, etc. If enacted in its current form, this type of broad reveal of criminal investigative files, released to a rabid media, will absolutely result in innocent people being hurt. Not by my vote. The Oversight Committee is conducting a thorough investigation that has already released well over 60,000 pages of documents from the Epstein case. That effort will continue in a manner that provides all due protections for innocent Americans. If the Senate amends the bill to properly address privacy of victims and other Americans, who are named but not criminally implicated, then I will vote for that bill when it comes back to the House.

Even Great Presidents Make Mistakes...Part One
By Diane Sori / The Patriot Factor
The article posted here is the authors opinion alone, and does not necessarily represent the views of blogspot.com or Google

...And to that, with all due honor and respect I say, “No, Mr. President you are wrong.” Why so...because as a businessman you had to know that no juggling of numbers of “tariff” raised revenues would ever be large enough to significantly filter down to “We the People's” pocketbooks let alone bring down the gross national debt, the prices at the grocery store and at the pump. Simple math alone does dictate that to be fact.

Donald Trump's intentions and motives in focusing on the “tariffs” cannot be questioned for he truly did believe the issue needed to be addressed...which it certainly did...it was just that, in my opinion, his timing was off in doing so what with so many American's monetarily still hurting.

And now when you add that President Trump wants part of the income from the “tariffs” to pay $2,000 dividends in seven year annual increments to low and middle income Americans, he has ignored the fact that in doing so it would actually counter his original intention of the “tariffs” helping to bring down the growing...Read entire article here.

Democrats Doubling Down on Socialism — Now Hakeem Jeffries Gets a Primary Challenge
Bob Hoge / RedState

Man, it seems like democratic socialism – Marxism – is rearing its extremist head everywhere you turn. DSA member Zohran Mamdani won the mayor’s race in New York, his comrade Katie Wilson took the top job in Seattle, and as I reported earlier Monday, community organizer Rae Huang has decided to run against Democrat LA Mayor Karen Bass.

But wait, there’s more!

Now listless House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY-8) is facing a primary challenge of his own, and yup, and it’s from another socialist:

New York City Council member Chi Ossé, a democratic socialist, filed paperwork on Monday to challenge House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) next year.

Ossé represents the city’s 36th District, which includes North Crown Heights and Bedford-Stuyvesant, in the New York City Council. He has represented the district since 20. Read more and see X here.
