Two Losers and the Ghost of John McCain

While the current news cycle is all about impeachment, impeachment, impeachment, and Syria, Syria, Syria... there are a few other news worthy items that are both comical and maddening at the same time while receiving but cursory attention at best. So along those lines let's start with the fact that Bernie Sanders...2016 's Mr. “Feel the Bern” himself...has not a snowball's chance in hell of getting the 2020 Democrat nomination let alone winning the presidency...both his heart attack and his far left politics have sealed that fate.

The now shadow of the man he once was...Bernie Sanders remains the man who continues to espouse the supposed virtues of socialism no matter its many proven foibles while still enjoying living large off the millions of dollars capitalism has afforded him, doing so while refusing to follow doctor's orders to slowdown. Instead, Bernie has upped his anti-American vitriol to such a degree while out on the campaign trail, during the Democrat debates, as well as in the media, that it's quite possible Bernie won't be around come nomination time...after all the heart can only take so much...but know I don't wish him harm and neither should you.

The simple fact is that Bernie Sanders cannot win as he's even a bit too far left for some progressives lurking within the now Democrat-Socialist party...progressives who while championing Bernie's “free stuff” mantra along with a growing number of millennials currently in his corner... have started to...albeit to a small degree...come to the realization that nothing in this life is actually free. And when you now add in that the leader of the infamous “Squad”...one Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez...has just formally endorsed him...Bernie's Sanders chances of winning anything have gone down from slim to none.

Why so...for starters how about Bernie's adding AOC to his campaign team. Remember, this is the woman who is not well liked even in her own 14th Congressional district as she is the one who almost single-handily killed the Amazon deal...a deal where Amazon was going to open up a new headquarters in New York City...a deal that would have created 25,000 new jobs and added about $30 billion in revenue to not only the very city deep in debt but to New York State itself. Even the infamous Mayor Bill DeBlasio called AOC to task for her job-killing stance. In fact, DeBlasio went so far as to say that, “[I have] progressive roots [and will] take on any progressive – anywhere – that thinks it’s a good idea to lose jobs and revenue.” And AOC then had the gall to say that fixing the subways instead of creating jobs would have been money better spent.
 
And so this delusional ex-bartender...and not a very good one so I've been told...is who Bernie Sanders is welcoming with open arms to his official team of campaign endorsing supporters...not the greatest idea I would think.

But to make matters worse, Bernie Sanders recently stated that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will have an “important position” in his administration “when”...yes he said “when”...he becomes president. Seems like Bernie's heart attack caused a serious momentary lack of oxygen to his brain.

And so the woman whose sole claim to political fame is that she has 5.6 million Twitter followers is also the woman who introduced the cost prohibited, bat-loon crazy Green New Deal to the American public...a deal that would see all buildings in this country being torn down and rebuilt to stringent new EPA standards; would see "planes, trains, and automobiles" becoming but a thing of the past; and would have cows either wearing diapers or with a cork up their butt, And AOC claims it's all in the name of protected the world from what was originally Al Gore's “global cooling” nonsense morphed into “global warming” nonsense now morphed into “climate change” nonsense... as in what's simply the “weather”...and that's not nonsense at all. 

And Bernie seems to have no problem with the cost of AOC's Green New Deal...nonsense he supports no matter that it's implementation cost on the low end would be $52 trillion over the next ten years up to $92 trillion on the high end, also spread out over the next ten years. But when you add in Bernie's Medicare for All proposal...now estimated to cost at least $34 trillion over the same ten years...with that being more than the total current cost of Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid combined...you cannot ignore the fact that these two socialists obviously care nothing about adding to our already staggering national debt...a debt currently standing at $22.03 trillion and growing. Nor do they care that the American taxpayer would again be forced to foot the bill...via drastically higher taxes...for both new proposals and more, including a single-payer healthcare system, student loan forgiveness, free public college, a wealth tax on the super-rich, universal childcare, and early childhood education...which would add to the percentage we taxpayers already pay to help bring down the national debt. 
 
And the bottom line here is that all the “free stuff” proposed by Bernie Sanders and seconded by AOC, sees only the “gimme-gimme folks”...folks now generationally with their hands out...not understanding that while these are promises made they're simply promises that cannot be kept, but they're promises that will help Bernie “buy” their votes come the primary elections. 
 
So if Bernie Sanders thinks Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's endorsement will help him garner the much needed mainstream Democrat vote he is sorrily mistaken for the only ones AOC really appeals to are young clueless millennial sorts who talk a good talk but who are just too lazy to get off their parent's couch and actually go out and vote...as in the newest generation of young people who've been indoctrinated into believing that it's better to receive than to go get a job and be responsible for one's own self.



And while AOC is now being called to task by some leading Democrats for not endorsing a “woman of color” or at least another minority candidate, her support for Bernie Sanders was actually a pre-ordained given as AOC got into politics as an organizer for Bernie's 2016 presidential campaign, as well as it being Bernie's staffers who recruited her to run for Congress. And dare we forget two important commonalities shared between these two, with the first being that both want to literally “overthrow” our capitalistic economy and replace it with socialism...that is until they run out of other people's money...and second, both are card carrying members of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), the very anti-capitalist group working within yet standing apart from the Democrat party. Translation: both Bernie Sanders and AOC are hypocritical sorts who enjoy reaping the benefits of what the more mainstream Democrat party and our country has to offer while at the same time relishing in destroying the once honorable party of JFK from within.

So while some still believe that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's endorsement will at least bring enough “energy” into Bernie's campaign to see him make it to the primaries, the fact remains that AOC may do little to nothing to bring much needed minority votes...especially black votes...over to Bernie. And besides, Bernie Sanders campaign is already faltering what with major polls now showing “Pocahontas” Warren kicking him out of second place and even overtaking “Uncle Joe” in a few of those polls. Bye-bye Bernie, it's time to accept your moniker as “socialism's grandfather” and just fade away for you will never be president nor will America ever become a socialist nation...President Trump will surely see to that.

And then there's Utah's now junior Senator Mitt Romney, the man I supported for president back in 2012 who has now sadly morphed into the ghost of John McCain. So filled with hate for President Trump this once honorable man has made taking down Trump his 24/7 agenda, basically picking up where McCain left off. But don't think that doesn't come with consequences because it does.

But before I get into those consequences let's take a brief look at the latest in the ongoing Romney/Trump feud...a feud that started on the day Mitt Romney lost to Obama and Donald Trump...whose support he had garnered... publicly stated that Romney was not strong or assertive enough during the campaign...which was one hundred percent correct. Making amends of sorts when now President Trump considered Romney for his Secretary of State, things got even more unsettling when Rex Tillerson was chosen instead.

And so the tensions kept building and reached a culmination of sorts when on January 1, 2019, newly elected Utah Senator Mitt Romney arrived in Washington D.C. with a vehemently anti-Trump op-ed in hand. Printed in The Washington Post and titled, The President Shapes the Public Character of the Nation. Trump’s Character Falls Short, this op-ed was nothing but a hit piece against the man who won the office Romney coveted but could never attain with its bottom line for Romney being that Trump “has not risen to the mantle of the office.” But what makes this even more grievous is that Mitt Romney sought and accepting President Trump's endorsement during his Senate campaign.

And from this point on now Senator Mitt Romney has continued to channel his inner John McCain by painting himself as a true conservative...as McCain tried to do and failed...with Trump being the founder of what Romney calls “Trumpism.” But the fact is that half the nation voted for Trump because of his conservative values, especially on key moral issues, as well as for his known business savvy. Translation: All of Mitt Romney's venom spewed has allowed him to pick-up where John McCain left off, thus affording him the designation of RINO as well, and that comes replete with a healthy dose of Jeff Flake's animosity thrown in for good, or should I say bad measure.

Now fast forward to this past October 5th when Mitt Romney called President Trump's supposed appeals to Ukraine and China to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter "wrong and appalling." The only thing “wrong and appalling” was Romney drawing this conclusion before the phone transcript of the call had even been released...before Ukraine President Zelensky himself said nothing improper had taken place...as in no appeal was made. And President Trump's response came via a tweet in which he called Romney “a pompous ass who has been fighting me from the beginning" adding that Romney could have won the 2012 election if he "worked this hard on Obama."

How right President Trump is as shades of Hillary Clinton sees Mitt Romney also blaming everybody but himself for his loss as well as his seeking revenge for something solely of his own doing.

And dare we forget Mitt Romney's recently taking to the Senate floor after President Trump announced our troop withdrawal from northern Syria to call Trump's supposed abandonment of the Kurds “a bloodstain in the annals of American history.” Nothing like Romney's spouting off without knowing all the facts to add to an already overheated political impeachment fire. 
 

And yet no matter how Trump counters Mitt Romney's accusations, Romney's now over inflated ego and quest for revenge unfortunately sees him remaining steadfast in his threats to see President Trump removed from office. And this can be witnessed by his recent interviews with Axios where he alluded to musings that he might head up what he now calls a “breakaway group of Republican senators” in turning against Trump if he does happen to get impeached in the House. But Mitt Romney can bloviate all he wants as he needs a minimum of twenty Republican senators to pull that off and those numbers are thankfully just not there.

Now as for the consequences of his actions, Mitt Romney has both personal and political egg on his face for it was recently discovered that Romney has a secret Twitter account where he uses the moniker “Pierre Delecto,” and has had said account for eight years, ever since his presidential run against Obama. But even though he only used said account 10 times since 2011...used it to either offer “mild criticism” of President Trump while tweeting “polite defenses” of himself...what's troubling about this is that now Senator Mitt Romney...a man so vocal against President Trump in Congress and while playing to the cameras...did not have the courage to stand by his online convictions needing instead a phony virtual identity by which to do his dirty work. Makes one wonder about the true character of the man who dares to question President Trump's moral fortitude.

And then there's this political consequence few politicians want to see, as in falling poll numbers. In fact, as I write this, Mitt Romney actually has a lower approval rating than a disapproval rating, and it's all because of his very public sour grapes feud with President Trump. The man who in 2018 was elected as Utah's next senator with 62% of the vote now sees himself, as per a Utah Policy and Y2 Analytics survey, with only 46% of Utahans approving of his time on the Hill with 51% disapproving, and with those numbers more than likely continuing to fall.

Not good for the man who not that long ago aspired to our nation's highest office, but like they say “you reap what you sow.” And for Mitt Romney, just like with Hillary Clinton, and like it should have been for John McCain, it would have better served them to let their animosity against President Trump go.

News stories buried by the media now come to light as there's more going on than impeachment and Syria...just wanted you to know.

Uncle Joe...The Democrat's 2020 Nominee

Last week's third Democrat debate in Houston, Texas was a rehash of the same tired old Trump bashing coupled with each of the now down to ten candidates again trying to top each other to see who can give away the most “free stuff.” However, we were also treated to a few laughs courtesy of the always comical gaffes of Joe Biden. But this time his gaffes came with a decidedly telling twist...a twist showing that no matter how often he deviates from the truth, there really are only three candidates of any “substance” left to take on and then lose to President Trump...three candidates alone who meet the Democrat hierarchy's version of ever vacillating “substance” that is.

It's now and has really always been a three person race...Joe Biden v. Bernie Sanders v. Elizabeth Warren. A three person race between touchy-feely Uncle Joe, socialist curmudgeon Bernie Sanders, and the woman who will forever be known as Pocahontas, one Elizabeth Warren. And while Uncle Joe cannot get through a single debate without putting his foot in his mouth at least once...and while “Feel the Bern” Bernie Sanders is but a shell of what he was just four short years ago...Pochantas' numbers are slowly creeping up soon to take over Bernie's number two position. And yet Uncle Joe hangs on as the number one contender for the Democrat presidential nomination, leaving one scratching their head and wondering why.

Wondering why for sure. And know it goes way beyond Sanders and Warren splitting the so-called “crazies” vote...a vote which now makes up the majority of the new AOC not Nancy Pelosi led Democrat-Socialist party. So what is it about Uncle Joe that makes him somewhat palatable and seemingly invincible to the mainstream Democrat masses? Simply it's his persona of standing the middle ground by not leaning so far to the left that he becomes unappealing to mainstream Democrats...Democrats not totally enthralled with their party's overtly socialist agenda. And Joe Biden has what many Democrats consider “electability” over the other candidates running...he was Obama's vice-president after all... but having “electability” and getting elected are two different matters entirely.

And while Joe Biden remains the de facto leader of the Democrat party’s more moderate faction, his campaign agenda remains as it has always been...a “sound bite” based campaign playing solely upon his blanket statement of ending the Trump presidency. Nary a true laying out of any tangible or workable policy ideas that would show Democrats why he and his policies would be better suited for our country than our current president's are... Biden tries to ignore the fact that we now have a president whose successful economic policies have put more of our our hard earned dollars back into our collective pockets instead of seeing them being divvied up elsewhere...elsewhere being socialism's calling card. So this simply means that Joe Biden's appeal regarding mainstream Democrats either comes down to a party line loyalty vote or something the Democrat hierarchy and the media dare not say...something some of us paying attention have come to know well.

So let's start by saying that Democrats love to play up the erroneous fact that it's they alone who care about racial inclusion and equality...that the racial divide they refuse to admit Obama started no longer exists...that America must surely become a nation of “brown folks”...as in their striving for a "blending of the races"...a "one size fits all" mentality where it's the federal government who becomes our collective caretaker. But with Joe Biden having not yet played the race card as all his fellow candidates have done, leaves Biden alone as someone white mainstream Democrats can more easily identify with, after all white America, no matter one's party affiliation, is long tired of the liberals politically driven skin color game...tired to the point where Biden's white skin color might just become one of his greatest campaign assets...and he knows it.

How so...as much as the Democrats...aided of course by their propaganda arm known as the mainstream media...want you to believe that America is no longer a “white majority country,” the truth remains that it is, most especially in regards to voting. The majority of Democrat affiliated white voters...those not of the socialist leaning kind...continue to favor Joe Biden over any of the male or female candidates “of color,” and that number increases by the day.

Doubt me...than how come according to a September 8th Washington Post-ABC news poll, the three top candidates...all white...are the only ones who have garnered much needed double digit support with Joe Biden alone leading all the other single digit candidates...including all those who claim to be “of color” by at least eleven percentage points. Translation: in the 2020 election one's skin color in regards to “electibility” matters whether Democrats will admit it...whether Democrats will publicly say it or not.

So with skin color and “electability” remaining one of the key components for mainstream Democrats...after all the Democrats have no real platform of substance...it's the “electability” aspect that also has the above poll showing that Uncle Joe's supporters...no matter his many gaffes... remain solidly loyal to him even more so than do white socialist Bernie Sanders' or white Elizabeth Warren’s supporters do. In fact, 61 percent of Biden's supporters say they will definitely vote for him thus giving him a huge lead over both Sanders and Warren who both see just 38 percent saying they are definitely going to vote for either one of them...no ifs, ands, or buts.

And when you also factor in that a 'New York Times' poll taken the day after the September 12th debate shows Joe Biden at 26%, Bernie Sanders at 17%, and Elizabeth Warren at 16% of the national polling average, this surely means that unless Joe Biden slips up big time...unless he cannot remove the foot from his mouth...he will be the Democrat nominee to go up against Donald Trump...a nominee that the white mainstream Democrat masses will head to the polls to vote for...yet they will still be casting votes in a losing effort against President Donald J. Trump.

So why is this a losing effort...for no other reason than logic itself dictates that due to the success of our economy no Democrat running will beat President Trump, and no made up last ditch attempt to fabricate a story about our country heading into a recession will stop the Trump juggernaut. The additional monies in voters pockets speak louder than any socialist agenda ever could, especially with working class middle aged and older white voters of either political party. This reality itself then dictates that even more mainstream white Democrats then in 2016 will cross party lines and vote to reelect President Trump.

And while Elizabeth Warren will in the end surge ahead of Bernie Sanders...remember Bernie's main supporters are millennials who love to talk the talk but who in reality are quite lackadaisical when it comes to actually getting out and voting...she will not secure the nomination. And again why...two words...Hillary Clinton. Hillary Clinton and her “made for TV” theatrics, I believe, have ruined it for women wanting to be president for some time to come or more simply put, America is not yet ready for a woman president, especially one who claims she is one thing while DNA tests prove she is quite another. America did not trust Hillary Clinton, they surely don't trust this faux Indian...for if you lie about one thing you'll surely lie about other even more important things.

As for Kamala Harris...the woman who pretends to be black...after her giggle-fest failure at the recent debate...she now sees much needed donors jumping off her sinking campaign ship, and besides she has no real path on which to make a comeback...meaning, I believe, she will soon be pulling out of the race. And while there are other women still in the nomination race...white women in fact...they are women with numbers so low they are not even worth mentioning, and they too will soon be pulling out of the race, save for Elizabeth Warren of course. After all, a "token women" is needed so that the Democrat party can “save face.”

And that again brings me back to Joe Biden as being the Democrat's nominee no matter his recent debate gaffe that Trump was the initiator of the “children in cages” brouhaha. But make no mistake...it was Obama himself who initiated that policy as Uncle Joe knows very well but who conveniently and selectively forgets it at just the right photo-op moment. But notice how just a week after the debate there's little to no mention of it in the media.

And as for the men still standing...men who for the most part are clamoring for both the minority and the illegal vote...not one of them can touch Joe Biden numbers wise, and it's numbers that matter above all else. Even Julian Castro...the man who fancies himself the “brown Obama” and who mimicked Obama in saying that, “Muslim Americans for generations have been part of the fabric of our American family. They have helped make America the great nation it is,”...is the only man I once saw as being a true tangible threat to Joe Biden.

But that man has basically now seen himself being all but removed from the nomination because of his erroneous remarks concerning a comment Joe Biden, just minutes before, had made at last week's debate. And to make matters worse Castro followed it up with a cowardly personal attack regarding Biden's age and mental state. Castro knew the words he was spewing were not only a lie but decidedly cruel...words actually proven to be lies even by the mainstream media...words spewed he cannot take back as video tape doesn't lie. And this leads me to believe that Julian Castro will be voluntarily pulling himself out of the race within a short period of time...his “brown” skin color not withstanding.

Skin color and/or gender seems to be the bottom line crux of the 2020 Democrat nomination race for the leftist socialist propaganda runs strong with both the candidates   "of color” and with the white candidates as well whether they be male or female. Appeal to minorities in hopes of them banding together to sway the vote their way, nevermind that their Democrat platform is comprised of useless and maniacal cost prohibited agenda items. Nevermind all this, just vote the color of your skin or your self-perceived gender, that's what the Democrats want you to do as they strive to further divide America along racial and self-perceived sexual lines. What Obama started they intend to finish.

And so the bottom line is this...no “brown” person nor any woman running today...can beat President Trump...most especially when our economy is still running strong and shows no signs of abating. And the Democrat hierarchy knows well that in order to at least not see a repeat of the 2016 Electoral College trouncing Hillary Clinton received, that they need to have a more moderate white male to go up against our current "no holds barred" white male president. And that brings it back full circle to more “moderate and more palatable" to the Democrat masses Joe Biden...who the Democrat hierarchy will probably force to pick a woman as his running mate, whether she be “of color” or not, to help balance out the ticket in hope of drawing in some semblance of the minority vote.

But no matter as Donald Trump will get his second term in office for while the Democrats focus on minorities, gender, and skin color, our president remains focused on keeping America both great and safe...and isn't that exactly what a president of these United States is tasked to do...I most surely think so.

Since When Did Rats Become A Race?

“Rep, Elijah Cummings has been a brutal bully, shouting and screaming at the great men & women of Border Patrol about conditions at the Southern Border, when actually his Baltimore district is FAR WORSE and more dangerous. His district is considered the worst in the USA.” - President Donald Trump regarding Baltimore's 7th district

For almost 26 years...he's in his13th term in office...he's represented a large area of predominately black Baltimore...he being Rep. Elijah Cummings...and his district is considered to be both one of the worst run and one of the most dangerous anywhere in these United States. And for for almost 26 years this area has remained as it always was...a welfare driven slum engulfed in both hopelessness and shame...a district where rats outnumber people and where the homeless, needles, feces, and the stench of despair are but the norm. “A disgusting, rat and rodent-infested mess,” said President Trump with some of Baltimore's former mayors sadly having to agree.

In fact, late last September disgraced, forced to resign over a corruption scandal concerning sales of her children’s books, former Mayor Catherine Pugh along with some key city leaders were video taped while touring a rundown Baltimore neighborhood and you can hear her saying, “What the hell? We should just take all this [expletive] down,” and then adding, “Whoa, you can smell the rats...Whew, Jesus...Oh, my God, you can smell the dead animals.”

 

And that same smell and that same decay remains to this day for Cummings' district is actually in worse shape now than it was when he first took office. In fact, nothing has changed in Baltimore as a whole even though large sums of money had been thrown Baltimore's way...including a whopping $1.8 billion by Barack HUSSEIN Obama under his “American Recovery and Investment Act”...$1.8 billion derived from his 2009 stimulus, which including $26.5 million to address crime prevention, $26 million to revamp abandoned properties, and $9.5 million to address homelessness.

But those monies were squandered away to keep the “fat cat” politicians happy while the residents continued to wallow in self pity with their hands out...slums are big business you know with their constituents being nothing but bought and paid for “chump change”... “chump change” that continues to vote the “head rat” in.

And speaking of another “head rat”...now entering center stage is the anything but Reverend Al Sharpton who has been if not a friend of President Trump at least a close acquaintance of President Trump, and has been for over 30 years. And isn't it odd that in all those years he has never once called Trump a racist or even alluded to Trump being a racist for racial pot stirrer Al Sharpton knows well that President Trump is not now nor has ever been a racist. But dare our president criticize and call a black Democrat politician to task over a job promised but not done, Trump in Sharpton's eyes has now suddenly morphed into being a racist.

But why in truth has Trump been deemed a racist by Sharpton and his ilk...simply because the vast majority of those living in West Baltimore are black Democrats, their congressman is a black Democrat, their mayor is a black Democrat, and too many black Democrats egged on by their white liberal supporters relish in using their black skin color as the sole means of defining who they are...thus having proven once again that for some one's skin color trumps logic, common sense, and reality...proving once again that racism is truly a double edged sword especially when it helps Democrats to garner votes.

How Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. must be turning over in his grave.

But the truth is that President Trump is right...Elijah Cummings' district is not only “rat and rodent infested,” but it is truly what amounts to a garbage dump in every literal sense of those words. But the key question that no one in either party wants to address...and probably out of fear of their being labeled a racist...is why aren't the residents themselves getting out there and at least helping to clean up their own mess...and know it is a mess of their own doing. And their skin color has not a damn thing to do with it as filth, dirt, and slovenliness do indeed cross all color lines. Such self-help, clean-up initiatives have been taken in other cities, in other neighborhoods, and to great success, but not in Baltimore... again why?

The answer to that question can be seen in Baltimore's two-faces. Face one sadly sees past Baltimore mayors relishing in having sued the Trump administration in a case over funding for sex education...which is a total waste of federal monies if you ask me...paid for lawyers to aid those caught in (gasp) ICE roundups of "illegals," and finalized a civil rights decree over (alleged) abuses by Baltimore police that the DOJ supposedly wanted to look away to. Face two on the other hand sees Baltimore wanting to garner benefits for the city from the “Opportunity Zone” tax breaks...takes breaks designed to spur economic development by providing tax benefits to investors...tax breaks backed by the Trump administration.

But the thing is, what savvy investor wants to invest their monies in a city that continues on a downward spiral; a city whose slum areas sadly seem to define the city itself; a city now ranked number one as our country's most dangerous and crime ridden city; and a city whose residents as well as its political leaders wanting to take no responsibility for what basically is Baltimore's economic and social collapse. It's one thing for an investor to move in, demolish, and gut entire neighborhoods, but that only leaves said neighborhoods residents to move to other neighborhoods while taking along both their ghetto mentality of “who cares...you owe me,” plus their dragging their acquired filth and habits along with them. And no “Visit Baltimore” advertising campaign will change that...painting lipstick on a pig never works as so many recent events have shown to be true.

"The fact of that matter is that America is the wealthiest nation in the history of the world. But anyone who took the walk that we took around this neighborhood would not think you're in a wealthy nation. You would think that you were in a Third World country." So said Democrat-Socialist presidential candidate Bernie Sanders back in 2015 after touring Baltimore's 7th district.

And even though last week Baltimore's new Mayor Bernard C. “Jack” Young called for, begged for, President Trump to help his city, there are ways to truly ask for help and ways to make a bad situation even worse, which is exactly what Mayor Young did. Saying, “If you want to help us, help us. Don’t talk about it. Send the resources that we need to rebuild America. He’s talking about he wants to ‘Make America Great Again’? Put the money in the cities that need it the most,” these words and the tone in which they were said sound more like fighting words than they do an honest cry for help, and anyway sometimes cities need to help themselves after squandering away what was billions of dollars in aid.

And these very politicians...Democrats all...need to stop pointing a finger at Trump for he is echoing what their very own Barack HUSSEIN Obama said back in 2015.

“Our great African American President hasn’t exactly had a positive impact on the thugs who are so happily and openly destroying Baltimore!” So said Donald J. Trump on April 28, 2015 after Obama went on television to speak about the then recent Baltimore riots and Baltimore's inner city communities...communities he said are “struggling with abject poverty, no investment, and drugs.” Blaming the riots on the lack of opportunity, high rates of crime, substandard education, and drug abuse, Obama stated that “if you have impoverished communities that have been stripped away of opportunities, where children are born into abject poverty, they’ve got parents — often because of substance abuse problems, or incarceration, or lack of education themselves — can’t do right by their kids.”

And Obama's saying then what Trump is essentially saying now translates into the fact that nothing has changed to in Baltimore no matter all the promises of help the likes of Elijah Cummings and others have made. Nothing has changed except for the fact that Baltimore had an unemployment rate of seven percent when Obama left office in January 2017, and that it has dropped nearly two percent since Trump took office, and was 5.1 percent as of May 2019...just saying.

But Baltimore's leaders sure knew how to squander away the $1.8 billion in aid Obama sent Baltimore via useless programs that basically went nowhere, which means in no uncertain terms that President Trump inherited this mess courtesy of Obama with the uselessness of Elijah Cummings thrown in for good or should I say bad measure. The man who has gotten rich off the misery of his constituents has had decades to try and remedy the situation...he even had a supposed black president on his side...and yet he has done nothing at all to help those he represents, but still gets elected in a predominately black district by predominately black voters. And last time I checked rats and rodents are not racially classified nor do they vote...or do they.

And even if one let's the past be the past...as in let sleeping dogs lie...tell me what has Elijah Cummings done of late to help those in his district? Let's see, he introduced the bill to replace Thomas Jefferson and put Harriet Tubman on the twenty dollar bill...he introduced legislation to eradicate lead poisoning in Opportunity Zones alone...he recently announced a $125 million federal investment in the Howard Street Tunnel...but please tell me how any of that helps the his Congressional district or those living in it. None of it does and yet he's seen by some of those suffering to be a savior...just because he's black like they are.

Seen by some but thankfully not by all.

Recently, Chief Content Creator, Benny Johnson of “Turning Point USA,” took a crew and visited Cummings' 7th district...a district he described as a “foreign war zone,” with trash everywhere and with filth and garbage piled up high along streets of decrepit “crumbling to pieces homes.” Saying that “every person I spoke with confirmed that the district was rat infested,” Johnson also went on to say that folks told him that a “plague of rats” the “size of cats” have “taken over” the neighborhood. He also spoke about a resident showing him a flyer from the city of Baltimore asking residents to pick up trash to keep rats away. Trying to help...maybe...but the timing of the flyer is quite suspicious as it came out right “after” Trump's tweet about the rats and rodent infestation.

The infestation cover-up or at least the deflection game has begun.

Also as per Benny Johnson, “constituents” told him that murders, shootings, and drugs run rampant, and that many were scared and do not go outside after dark...and that's in addition to their feeling abandoned by their politicians.

And yet these same folks...folks who truly seem to want help...will continue to vote these same politicians in time and time again simply because their shared skin color guides them towards which party's lever to pull. And the Democrats who were outraged over Trump's remarks... even though they’re totally true...will continue blathering on while making promises to folks to needy to understand that they simply are being used.

“What he said was definitely true. [Cummings] hasn’t done anything for us....If he would take the time out to come over here and see how things are maybe he’d be better at his job.” So said 7th district resident 'Michelle' to Baltimore County Republican Central Committee member Kimberly Klacik.

So until the reality of who the “bad guys” really are sets in, Baltimore's 7th district will continue to wallow in filth, crime, and hopelessness while Elijah Cummings spews lie after lie about the supposedly horrific job being done by our Border Patrol and about terrible conditions at our southern border detention centers...none of which is true. And Cummings will continue to do so as his constituents sink deeper into poverty while he basks in his $175+ thousand dollar a year salary with a Cheshire Cat grin on his face as the rats and rodents scurry on by him and head towards their 7th district home.

Buying Votes...Bernie Sanders Style

He's socialism's “Grandpa” for this generation of young liberal malcontents and “bat-shit crazy” to boot. There's no other way to describe Democratic presidential candidate Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, the man who recently said he would “absolutely” give taxpayer-funded health care benefits to illegals, and that he would get Wall Street to pay off all student loan debts.

Thankfully, Bernie Sanders has no chance of becoming president...at least we hope not... no matter that come 2020 the dead and the illegals will be out en-mass to cast their much needed Democrat votes.

Seriously though, let's look at a page torn right out of the newest incarnation of the Democrat-Socialist handbook... the very handbook that dictates promise your audience the impossible as long as it gets you their votes. And in last week's promising “Medicare for All”...otherwise known as “universal health care”...at Miami's 'National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials Candidates Forum', what Bernie did was try to “buy” as much of the the Latino vote as he could in light of President Trump's newest call for the deportation of primarily Mexican and Central Americans living in our country illegally... actually criminals all.

And when directly asked by the forum moderator whether or not he would include the “11 million undocumented immigrants” in his “Medicare for All” proposal, “Grandpa” Bernie... the man who guarantees health care to every man, woman, and child living in our country...had to admit that government-run health care indeed comes with flaws. And yet he emphatically stated, “Absolutely. When I talk about health care being a human right, last time I heard that undocumented people are human beings as well.”

Well...illegals might indeed be “human beings” Bernie, but you know as well as I do that both you, your party, and the illegals themselves are hell bent on bankrupting our country in the name of socialism and “free stuff”... “free stuff” that is anything but free. Ignoring the fact that not only would “Medicare for All” do away with all private health insurance by its transferring all private plans to a government-run single-payer plan...a plan he claims would do away with premiums, co-pays, and deductibles...it would also put illegals in the exact same health care pool that we law-abiding American citizens would be in. 
 

So much for putting America and Americans first, huh Bernie.

And while some of Bernie's fellow Democrat presidential hopefuls are not on board with his doing away with all private insurance plans...front-runner Joe Biden amongst them is saying that while the U.S. should most assuredly provide complete health care for people “regardless of whether they are documented or undocumented,” he still would rather add a “public option” into the health care system that would compete with private plans. But know that Biden and the others are not against “Medicare for All” for altruistic reasons, but because it could cost them the votes of those in the Democrat masses who are happy with their private insurance plans. 
 
So this leaves Bernie to continue pushing forward his “one size fits all” Medicare agenda especially to the snowflake kind who want any and everything for free. And to the bleeding heart liberals who cry phony crocodile tears that millions either have no insurance or simply cannot afford insurance deductibles and co-payments, Bernie is selling the nonsense that a single-payer government run insurance program would cover more services than traditional Medicare while at the same time eliminating most out-of-pocket costs. But what the bleeding hearts forget is that when the federal government gets involved in anything costs actually increase not decrease, and that our taxes do go up dramatically.

   

And something truly important that Bernie doesn't want folks to know is exactly how much the nightmare of “Medicare for All” would cost. So here is that very number as per a 2018 Mercatus Center study...the cost to nationalize the health care industry they estimate to be around $32.6 trillion over 10 years. And that staggering number is just the jump off point as said estimate does not include the implementation costs of actually putting the illegals on our taxpayer dime what with apprehension numbers going up by the day.

So while Bernie claims that insurance and major drug companies are starting to “spend tens and tens of millions of dollars to fight against 'Medicare for All'”...I say they know a disaster when they see one. And what's being ignored by Bernie and crew is the very fact that “Medicare for All” is truly unfair to we hard working American citizens who have paid into the Medicare system the entirety of our working lives...we get screwed as the illegals get any and everything they truly don't deserve.
 
“Today, we are entering a proposal which will allow every person in this country to get all of the education that they need to live out their dreams,” or so says Bernie Sanders,

And with those words, socialism's “Grandpa” reiterated his wanting to do away with all current student loan debt. Can it be anymore obvious that he's trying to “buy” the millennial vote...I mean really Bernie, even a blind man can see that.

So what exactly is Bernie proposing that's got millennials drooling over his vote buying shopping list that caters especially to them? To start with how about that all the student loan debts of nearly 45 million graduates (totaling roughly $1.6 trillion) would simply go away, and that tuition and fees for undergraduate students at public four-year colleges and universities as well as at community colleges would now be free...all while Bernie hushes up the fact that it would cost about $75 billion annually to do so.

Also not being said is that the federal government will only fund two-thirds of said cost thus leaving the states to bear the remaining costs. But of course Bernie has an answer for that, whether it be a realistic answer or not, as in that while the amount of federal money exceeds what states take in with undergraduate tuition, the states really shouldn’t have to worry about a shortfall as a result of his program...yeah right...ever so sarcastically said.

And if that's not enough how about Bernie's list including the capping of student loan interest rates, expanding Pell grants, cancelling tuition for both trade schools and apprenticeship programs, as well as giving more funding to “historically” black universities, tribal colleges, and other minority institutions. In other words, Bernie Sanders wants to bring back what was the racist nightmare known as 'Affirmative Action,' just without calling it that.

And Bernie added to this list that those colleges and universities seeking federal higher education aid must enter into an annual agreement with the Education Department that would include a number of stipulations...stipulations like a prohibition on raising tuition for out-of-state students, requiring the maintaining of high educational standards, reducing the number of low-paid adjunct faculty, and doing so while maintaining state funding for need-based financial aid.

So I guess under Bernie's plan we'd see a lot of colleges and universities going broke and having to close their doors for what he's proposing is akin to blackmail of sorts.

So how does Bernie intend to pay for the what would be an estimated $2.2 trillion price tag for his millennial vote buying shopping list...a list he claims would be marked "paid-in-full" within but six months time? Well...of course by raising our taxes and also by imposing a “Wall Street Speculation Tax” on financial investment transactions... taxing the rich yet again by placing a he says small “levy” on every stock, bond, and derivative sold within the U.S. Designed specifically to discourage speculation within the market...as in it's not being aimed at “middle-class” investors who tend to leave their money in the market to grow over longer periods of time, but is instead aimed to curb short-term activity among high-frequency traders...as in cut back on computer-generated, high-speed trading...traders and trading by the rich who Bernie sees as having a “destabilizing effect” on the market. 
 
And Bernie unveiled this very nonsense last month before Congress in what he called the “Inclusive Prosperity Act”...a bill he co-sponsored with of all people America-hating muslima Ilhan Omar...a tax actually that would be used to punish "capital formation." How so...by seeing Wall Street trades taxed at a rate of 0.5 percent for stocks and 0.1 percent for bonds, meaning that a stock trade of $1,000 for example would thus see a cost of $5 being added to it. Seems like small potatoes right...it's not small potatoes when you add together all the hundreds of million of stock trades done daily.



But know this idea of placing a tax on financial transactions is not something Bernie Sanders thought up all by himself, because over the years similar versions of what Bernie is now proposing has already been proposed by economists John Maynard Keynes and James Tobin. In fact, there actually was such a tax in the U.S. until 1966, and such a tax exists in many countries even today.  

So while the 'Joint Committee on Taxation' (JCT) believes such a move would increase revenues by about $777 billion between now and 2028...which is still not enough to pay off the $2.2 trillion student loan price tag...JCT also reminds us that there are other serious downsides to such a Wall Street tax as Bernie is proposing, including the fact that it would “discourage activity that stabilizes asset and stock prices, reducing liquidity, and ultimately possibly even reducing household wealth and consumption.”

So how does Wall Street itself feel about the man who said, “In 2008, we bailed out Wall Street. Now it's time to tax Wall Street's greed to help the American people,” and how do they feel about his tax plan...simply they warn that such a move could make markets more volatile and that the costs would ultimately be borne by American taxpayers. And industry groups and experts say the cost of the “levy” would be shouldered by Main Street investors either directly as trading houses pass along the expense in higher fees and wider spreads, or indirectly through lower returns in mutual fund and pension accounts. 
 

“I don’t often use the phrase, but today we are, in fact, offering a revolutionary proposal. Today, we are entering a proposal which will allow every person in this country to get all of the education that they need to live out their dreams,” So says Bernie Sanders who longs to see socialism's mantra coming to life yet again...as in screw the wealthy until you run out of their money and then go after the monies of the middle class. An idea doomed to fail but an idea that Bernie still hopes will take the America we all know down. 

”Grandpa” Bernie and his fellow Democrat-Socialists must be so very proud.
