Saving 2020

As the 2020 election draws near not only is the political discourse heating up but the animosity is heating up as well...discourse and animosity even within ones own party. You're leaning way too far to the left...you're leaning way too far to the right...you're too conservative...you're not conservative enough...I hear it every day. Keep it up folks and the wedge will be driven so deep that the party fractures to such a degree that it cannot be fixed...and here I'm talking about the Republican Party v. those within it who lean decidedly a bit too far to the right regarding certain issues.

First lets get some things straight...there are two main political parties in this country...the Democrat and the Republican party...two parties alone who determine the presidential election. All other political parties including the Independent Party, the Libertarian Party, the Conservative Party, the Constitutional Party, the Green Party, as well as the truly obscure political parties who constitute the “fringe element”...sees that when push comes to shove it's their party's candidate who goes down in flames as the two major parties, for the most part, are the ones to not only get out the vote but get it out in numbers that the other parties can never come close to matching.

That is simple reality folks...reality whether some want to hear it or not.

And another reality...a reality causing a great deal of friction today...is between those who identify as Republicans and those who identify as conservatives but register and vote Republican. These folks are wise enough to know that the Conservative Party itself is not strong enough to win a general election let alone the presidency, and so they register as Republicans as the Democrat Party...the new Democrat-Socialist Party specifically...is not an option...and rightly so.

However, while the Republican Party...the political party of Lincoln and Reagan...does share many conservative leanings that does not mean one has to be a die-hard conservative to be a Republican as there are some key differences between the two. Generally, Republicans do favor small government; states rights; high tariffs on foreign goods (which helps push the “Made in America” scenario); “sound money” tied to the value of gold and tangible "treasure;" reduced taxes as a means of stimulating the economy thus encouraging individual economic stability; are pro-second amendment, pro-military, and want a strong national defense; say NO to ILLEGAL immigration and YES to LEGAL immigration; know the “social issues” belong to the states; the list goes on and on.

Conservatives...or should I say those who embrace the “philosophy of conservatism” for conservatism is but a philosophy...generally favor most things Republicans favor policy wise, but do tend to bring religion and the Holy Bible into most (but not all) of the political discourse, especially discourse regarding the social issues...especially the discourse regarding abortion. That is the main difference between the two entities...that and the fact that while most Republicans honor “separation of church and state” most die-hard conservatives actually want to meld the two together...something our Founding Fathers would never want to see happen.

Then there's a new, while not quite a party but a political movement, by the name of Republican-Conservatives (as opposed to Conservative-Republicans) who take the best policies of the Republican Party and mix it with a healthy but not all consuming dose of the moral compass that now defines the “conservative philosophy.” And by using simple logic and the law as laid down in the Constitution as their legal guideline, Republican-Conservatives strive to present a new option to help bring the two factions together into one cohesive Republican voting block.

And I freely admit I am one of those just named folks for where I differ with die-hard conservatives is that under no circumstances do I want America to become a theocracy...which is what many die-hard conservatives want without actually saying it.

Want an example..how about conservatives recent actions or should I say reactions regarding our newest Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

How so? Many conservatives are now voicing their disappointment in Justice Kavanaugh, the man they counted on being their anti-abortion savior on the High Court. But when a case that could have challenged the constitutional right to abortion recently reached the High Court, Kavanaugh, instead of taking the high moral anti-abortion ground, chose to join with his fellow justices in “sidestepping” a key component of that case. Choosing to overturn an appeal to reinstate Indiana's strict 2016 abortion law...a law banning all abortions at any time during a pregnancy no matter the circumstances...a law which had been signed by then Governor Mike Pence...the justices chose to uphold only part of said law...the part regarding the disposal of “fetal remains.” 
 
In other words, this “without dissent” ruling tried to placate both sides of the abortion issue which can in the end backfire. Placate indeed...to make those on the left happy the ruling did not violate a woman's right to choose abortion or put an “undue burden” on those who choose to abort. How so...because the justices left in place lower court rulings that blocked Indiana's law from making it illegal for a woman to end her pregnancy because of the race or gender of the fetus or if she received a diagnosis of Down syndrome. And to make those on the right somewhat happy the justice's decision treats aborted babies with dignity and respect in regards to body disposal...as in no selling of aborted babies or their body parts allowed...these babies are to be buried or cremated...period.

Some trade-off...huh...no wonder many conservatives are not happy with Justice Kavanaugh right now...but...what they don't understand is that Kavanaugh based his decision not on the moral and religious righteousness of the “philosophy of conservatism” regarding abortion, but solely upon the words of the Constitution...the very document he swore to uphold...which was absolutely the right thing to do.

Putting aside his own personal beliefs regarding abortion, Justice Kavanaugh chose not to play the role of an “activist justice”...a favorite role for liberal Obama-appointed justices and judges...but to rule as the Constitutionalist he always said he would be. And Brett Kavanaugh did so by following the precedent set in Roe v. Wade “faithfully and fully”...his words...in regards to this ruling. Knowing that he could never make all conservatives happy all the time, especially concerning the legalities of abortion, the truth is that nothing will make some die-hard conservatives happy unless the words of the Holy Bible trumps the Constitution as law of our land...a criticism...no, an observation...yes.

But this is not the first time some conservatives have been “irked” by Justice Kavanaugh's decisions, Now seeing him as a “sellout,” these conservatives claim that not only has Kavanaugh sided more with the court's liberal justices than with the other conservative justices, but that he has partnered, if you will, with Chief Justice John Roberts, the very justice regarded by many as not just the current court's swing vote, but as a true sell-out to the Republican Party itself due to his ObamaCare deciding vote.

But this thinking is in error for being more moderate and flexible in certain decisions accomplishes more in the end than being so far to the right in a given situation that one can actually shake hands with the left...emotionally, stubbornly, and ever so misinformed-wise that is.

Misinformed or just simply blinded by their passions has some conservatives forgetting that in regards to the issue of abortion...the number one issue for conservatives... has the justices rightfully moving slowly as they are not yet ready to address abortion head on...not yet ready to revisit let alone 'overturn' Roe v. Wade...at least not during the upcoming presidential election year. A wise move on the conservative justice's part because had the High Court heard the Indiana case, said case would have been “argued” this fall and decided by June 2020...a mere four months before the presidential election.

Now just imagine the Democrat turnout if the Indiana case had led not just to Roe v. Wade being overturned but with it being replaced with a decidedly more stringent anti-abortion ruling. Imagine that turnout while conservatives stayed home reveling in their anti-abortion “mission accomplished” scenario now blind to the fact that whomever the Democrat candidate is could actually win due to sheer Democrat voter turnout alone. Remember, it's always all about votes and by creating an issue that draws voters to the polls, and abortion is such an issue, it is best not to make it the key issue heading into 2020, especially with the Democrat Party being this country's majority party.

And when the majority party is as vile as today's Democrat Party is, the problem is that conservatives tend not to look at the political puzzle fully assembled, but choose instead to look at each individual puzzle piece that suits their specific agenda, in this case their anti-abortion agenda. Dangerous indeed for their Republican counterparts do tend to look more at the puzzle fully assembled even if it means certain pieces are still missing...revisiting Roe v. Wade now is one such missing piece that needs to remain missing until President Trump is reelected. Kavanaugh knew this and acted accordingly.

I hope die-hard conservatives understand that here is where the divide between Republicans and conservatives comes into play with Justice Kavanaugh being but one puzzle piece of the bigger puzzle picture...a picture that has Democrats waiting in the wings to help fracture an already fractured party. The party that booed God and seemingly shuns morality is using God and immorality to divide us even more, and they're getting help from the Rinos who remain the Republicans main Achilles heel.

So how can the Republican Party fully embrace conservatives so as to assure President Trump his second term in office?

Simply, the divisive hot-button issue of abortion must be toned down if not tabled for awhile as now we see states going too far to the right which is as bad as going too far to the left. Republicans know well that the right to have an abortion will remain albeit with stricter guidelines in place, and conservatives must accept this as fact and move on to other more pressing matters...more pressing matters like the economy, illegal immigration, and foreign affairs (including Iran and the Middle East) to name but a few...in order to help Republicans...in order to help Donald Trump...solidify an unbeatable 2020 voting block.

So while die-hard conservatives will always remain staunch proponents of “social conservatism”...Republicans in turn must accept that for those folks their faith will remain a key component of the political discourse with total “separation of church and state” not an option for them. Thankfully, that number does not make up the majority of conservatives... conservatives who understand that while one's faith can be strong they can separate faith from the political discourse.

So...in 2020 here come we Republican-Conservatives to save the day.

The Details of the Democrats Evil Plan Exposed

As we all know things are not always what they seem to be on the surface. Such is the case with Dr. Christine Blasey Ford who at last Thursday's Senate Judiciary Committee hearing...who in the throws of what amounted to caffeine induced shakes, who with her hair constantly falling in her face, and who with a little girl squeaky voice whose tone she carefully modulated depending on which political side of the committee she was addressing...tried to paint herself as a victim of a 36-year old claimed sexual assault by Judge Brett Kavanaugh when the two were in high school.*

And so in a maliciously orchestrated scenario that was egged-on by the Democrats on the committee...Democrats who never asked her any direct questions per se but who one-by-one straight down the line heralded her supposed “bravery” for coming forward with her story...more like heralding her for coming forward with a lie.

But the thing is that Dr. Christine Blasey Ford was no sexual assault survivor of Brett Kavanaugh or possibly of anyone else...but if anything happened at all it probably was just a different teenage boy trying to get to “first” or “second base” as teenage boys have always done and will continue to do...I mean there was not even any clothing removed. Teenage drunkenness and misconduct has been twisted in Dr. Ford's own mind into attempted rape.

And this woman whom the Democrats have now anointed as the new spokeswoman and "face" for sexual abuse survivors everywhere put on one hell of a performance as Republicans treated her with kid gloves for fear of being labeled as both sexist and overbearing towards a woman who supposedly had gone through so much inner turmoil in order to keep a deep dark secret inside her until she alone felt it was the right time to come forward and do her “civic duty.”

Bravo...and the Oscar goes to Dr. Christine Blasey Ford for a performance of a lifetime but that's all it was...a performance...for it's important to remember that Dr. Ford herself stated that she was eventually able to escape before she was raped or worse but that the experience was very traumatic because she felt like she had “no control and was physically dominated.” That is a very liberal stance as it relates to feelings not to the actual physical act of rape itself which showed that neither she nor the Democrats were really interested in getting to the truth of what happened or didn't happen on the night in question. But it did give the Democrats a tool by which to manipulate a frail easily swayed individual into doing their bidding.

And manipulate Dr. Ford they did as she became the conduit by which the Democrats were able to both slander and defame a good man and hopefully stop Donald Trump from not only stacking the Supreme Court with conservative justices, but by which they could restart the now thanks to Trump stalled fundamental changing of America that Barack HUSSEIN Obama had set in motion. But first let's start by looking at an all-important timeline and how that timeline was willfully ignored by the media.

Before Christine Blasey Ford got married in 2002 she says she told her husband about a sexual assault that supposedly happened when she was in high school but never told him who did it or the details of exactly what happened. Then in 2012, just as Barack HUSSEIN Obama began his final term in office, Dr. Ford and her husband went into couples therapy...with some claiming for issues relating to alcoholism...where she tells a therapist who shares her leftist anti-Trump political leanings about being sexuality assaulted at a party by someone she knew in high school, but like with her husband she never mentioned any name.

Flash forward to July 2016 when Donald Trump became the Republican nominee for president. And when he did so, much to the utter chagrin of liberals everywhere, Christine Blasey Ford was amongst those who feared that Trump would turn our country hard to the right by picking only pro-lifers if he was given the chance to nominate future Supreme Court justices. And he rightfully stroked those fears when in September 2016 then candidate Trump released his first list of those he would be considering as possible nominees to the High Court if elected. On that list was Neil Gorsuch...who did become the nominee on January 31, 2017 and who ultimately became the justice who would replace Justice Antonin Scalia who had passed away the year before.

Also on that original first list of possibilities of then candidate Trump was Steven Colloton of Iowa, Allison Eid of Colorado, Raymond Gruender of Missouri, Thomas Hardiman of Pennsylvania, Raymond Kethledge of Michigan, Joan Larsen of Michigan, Thomas Lee of Utah, William Pryor of Alabama, David Stras of Minnesota, Diane Sykes of Wisconsin and Don Willett of Texas.

Judge Brett Michael Kavanaugh, a staunch originalist and constitutionalist then sitting on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit...as you can see was not on then candidate Donald Trump's original 2016 list of possible SCOTUS nominees but was included on now President Trump's official November 17, 2017 list after The Heritage Foundation recommend his name be added. And Brett Kavanaugh's name only appeared on then retiring Justice Anthony Kennedy's replacement 'short list' on July 5, 2018, with his ultimately being announced as the nominee on July 9, 2018.

Now why is this particular timeline so important, because in her interview with the Washington Post, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford stated that she became upset back in September 2016 when she saw Brett Kavanaugh's name appearing on then candidate Trump's original list of possible SCOTUS nominees. But how can that be when Brett Kavanaugh's name was not on now President Trump's official nominee list until November 17, 2017...a full year after she said she saw it. Meaning if Dr. Ford can lie about something so easily but obviously not looked into, what else is she lying about...how about everything.

“Falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus”...“False in one thing, false in everything.” - common law legal doctrine 

 

Remember, this is the very woman who could not name the exact date when said sexual assault occurred; whose house it was where the supposed assault took place; how she got to and home from said house; and who also admitted that she had been drinking...all that has been twisted by the media, the Democrats, and in Ford's own mind into attempted rape. And critical to remember is that this woman did not tell anyone the name of who assaulted her until 36 years later when a political opportunity arose for her to help stop Trump's nominee from being seated on the High Court...a nominee she and her fellow liberals knew would decidedly swing the court to the right for probably decades to come.

And that could not be allowed, and it was at this point that Christine Blasey Ford became but a useful tool to stop Donald Trump and his nominee at any cost. And it all started with a Democrat loyal therapist being able to take a memory of a long ago assault that might or might not have happened and manipulate that memory into a time sensitive weapon to be used against President Trump with an innocent man's life being thrown to the wolves in a media driven feeding frenzy of Dr. Ford's and the Democrats doing.

But how did key Democrats accomplish this feat? First let's remember that Democrats were not happy when Neil Gorsuch made it to the Supreme Court especially since Obama had nominated liberal leaning Merrick Garland after Antonin Scalia's death. Not happy that Trump was successful in stalling Garland's Senate confirmation vote until Obama's term in office ran out with said nomination now legally being cast aside, Democrats see Dr. Ford's accusation as their last ditch attempt to stall Kavanaugh's nomination until after the midterms in hopes of their retaking the Senate and then being able to throw out both Kavanaugh's nomination and any future nominations Trump would make.

As always it's all about politics...dirty D.C. swamp politics emanating primarily from the left side of the political aisle.

But what exactly would they need to do to now, at the so-called eleventh hour, to stop Brett Kavanaugh's nomination for it appeared Kavanaugh was poised to get the votes needed to take a seat on the High Court...simply they used the tried and true last minute tactic of fabricating a sex scandal because Democrats know that political sex scandals garner more outage and passion than just about anything else...just ask Billy-Boy Clinton about that.

And so their plan was set into motion...a plan dedicated to stopping Brett Kavanaugh from ever becoming a Supreme Court Justice. But to do so Democrats needed someone to come forward and claim that he had sexually assaulted them with the time frame of when it happened not really mattering, thus leaving the Democrats to start searching through their databases of their supporters and/or financial contributors to see if any had crossed paths with Kavanaugh. And they hit the mark with Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, a registered Democrat, a Hillary supporting pink pussycat hat wearing far left feminist who had also contributed to both the Obama and Hillary campaigns and to the DNC itself. And they also found out in their search that she had been in therapy back in 2012 where she told her therapist that she had been the victim of an unnamed assailant back when she was in high school in Maryland.

Ding, ding, ding...and the bells went off for the Democrats as Trump's nominee Brett Kavanaugh was also from Maryland, was about the same age as Dr. Ford and who by luck went to a 'sister' high school of his, and whose mother had ruled in a foreclosure case involved the Blasey family, which while she ruled in their favor still cost them a great deal of money to settle. And from there it was easy pickings to manipulate and possibly pay off an emotionally unstable woman...emotionally unstable no matter how many degrees she has...to a point where a previously unnamed assailant morphed in her mind into Trump's Republican nominee to the Supreme Court...one Brett Kavanaugh.

And Dianne Feinstein herself has her hands all over this what amounts to a witch hunt for besides her broken promise to keep Dr. Ford's infamous letter confidential, it was she who helped Dr. Ford secure her big shot D.C. lawyers. But doesn't that in itself seem odd as Dr. Ford's own two brothers are both respected attorney's in the Washington D.C. area...maybe they know the truth about their sister and were wise enough not to get involved...as maybe they know about her taking part in crackpot feminist and anti-Trump marches...and maybe they know that the rumors going around about their sister having “issues” as far back as childhood are true.

And so the woman who couldn't even remember also sending the New York Time a copy of the infamous letter that started the witch hunt just three short weeks ago, in reality did not come off at the hearing as someone credible in my eyes contrary to what many conservative talking heads are continuing to say if for no other reason than they're afraid of 'outing' a woman as a liar on national television... especially a woman who claims to be a sexual assault “survivor.” 

But the bottom line to me is this...then Christine 'Chrissy' Blasey was most definitely not...I repeat not...sexually assaulted by Brett Kavanaugh, and if any boy did assault her back then what happened was not rape but was at best teenage drunkenness and bad behavior. And really, Brett Kavanaugh has already gone through six thorough F.B.I. investigations over the years as he rose up through the ranks of our judicial system...including a critical investigation that allowed him to be privy to America's nuclear code...and now he must go through a seventh all because a lying woman with an agenda has been manipulated to do the Democrats bidding.

If Dr. Christine Blasey Ford is a victim of anything, she's a victim of her own twisted delusions and of being manipulated into becoming “the face” of a misplaced political agenda that will not serve her, our county, or true victims of real sexual assault well.

And let's not forget the yet to be mentioned future victims of Dr. Ford's lie and the Democrats witch hunt...our husbands, fathers, brothers, nephews, and sons as any woman or girl can now make up a story that can neither be proved or disproved all in an attempt to completely ruin those above stated lives. And while these misguided Democrat sorts thinks this empowers women, all it does is place guilt on the innocent before anything even happens.   

But most importantly of all right now, let it be known that Judge Brett Kavanaugh is no sexual predator and never was and to state otherwise is to dismiss the notion that the F.B.I. actually did its job when investigating him the first six times they did so. The only true victim here is the good judge whose career and reputation has been irrevocably harmed and his family forever hurt by the truly evil sorts who comprise today's Democrat party. Judge Brett Kavanaugh deserves his seat on the Supreme Court...it's now up to the Republicans to make sure he gets that seat for if they don't the midterm results just might not be to their or our liking.

On Becoming the Circus of the Absurd

And so the three-ring circus continues on with Dr. Christine Blasey Ford in one ring, innocent Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh in another ring, and the Democrat hierarchy in the third ring. A three-ring circus that has morphed into a true circus of the absurd as new (nonsensical) allegations against Brett Kavanaugh are now being made...made just in time so that Democrats can hopefully derail Dr. Ford's scheduled testimony this week.

But first the three-ring circus as it stands now as I write this...

In ring one sits Judge Kavanaugh's accuser Dr. Christine Blasey Ford...a woman enmeshed in her own delusions...delusions Democrats saw as an opportunity to help in stopping President Trump's newest nominee from being seated on the High Court's bench...it is as simple as that.

Now thinking herself as ever so special in this latest public discourse surrounding questionable sexual allegations, the fact is that sexual allegations both true and untrue have been going on unabated since the founding of our country. From earlier presidents like Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, Grover Cleveland and others...all the way up to 20th century presidents like Woodrow Wilson, Warren Harding, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, culminating in the ultimate sexual purveyor of them all...one William Jefferson Clinton...sexual allegations were then as they are now not just the fodder of gossips but are big news stories that help sell papers and boost media ratings. And with no lack of sexual dalliances in the world of politics, the media has much to pick from or if it's an usual dry spell, so to speak, they'll either make one up or feed into the lies of the newest sexual accuser de-jour.

Enter center stage Dr. Christine Blasey Ford.

And while actual affairs, especially affairs of long term duration, still seem to be more politically and publicly accepted than casual sexual dalliances...dalliances which can easily morph into allegations that have the ability to drive the rumor mill and political fodder ever forward due to their being more open-ended in nature...with sexual allegations tending to divide folks along both party and gender lines...”he said-she said” banter becomes water cooler chit-chat to break up ones tedious work day.

But when sexual allegations involve Supreme Court nominees ”he said-she said” banter tends to become an actual circus of the absurd...just ask current Justice Clarence Thomas and now Judge Brett Kavanaugh. And why...because allegations against presidents, senators, representatives and such eventually fade away from the public conscience for elected officials time in office and in the public spotlight is limited, but Supreme Court Justices are appointed for life. And it's the lifetime aspect of power these justices hold... power that goes beyond that of all others for the justice's decisions and rulings directly affect generations to come...and it's that which has the Democrats in meltdown mode.

Simply, the rulings aspect is the Democrats key complaint regarding Brett Kavanaugh because he is a staunch constitutionalist...an originalist as was Justice Antonin Scalia...who will not legislate from the bench...more on that in a bit.

And for most Democrats...especially pink pussycat hat wearing Democrat women...they are using Dr. Ford as a means by which to channel their fear that with a Justice Kavanaugh sitting on the High Court that it would be the death-knell for their precious baby-killing law known as Roe v. Wade. The calling card of over-the-top “feminists” who see their vagina as their sole defining feature and who also see an unwanted human life as their right to dispose of at will via Roe v. Wade, these women want to make sure their right to kill innocent babies is not taken away.

Clearly not understanding the fact that Roe v. Wade will not be overturned because it will not even come up before the High Court. And why...because it's already been “settled.” How so...because the court's decision in siding with Casey in Planned Parenthood v. Casey actually already gives leeway to regulate certain aspects of abortion, and it's those regulations not Roe itself that is at the heart of today's abortion debate...as in Roe's trimester limitations v. Casey's viability basis. Remember, Casey's arguments were based upon the 14th Amendment protections that cover “romantic, family and sexual autonomy” and as per the Casey ruling there are already certain limits placed on the government’s power to force a woman to carry a pregnancy to term.

And even with Casey being “settled” law, what's still not understood by liberals is that it is constitutionalists like Kavanaugh and those constitutionalist justices already sitting on the bench who are what's keeping Roe in place. How so...because constitutionalist justices will not go against “settled” cases for they are not activist justices like the liberal justices now sitting on the High Court. Liberals should fear their own in regards to Roe v. Wade not justices from the other side of the political aisle.

But in the unlikely case that somehow Roe did get overturned...again by activist justices outnumbering constitutional justices...it would not make abortion illegal as the issue of abortion would then again go back to the states...where it always belonged and should have stayed. And with the majority of states still guaranteeing a degree of access to abortion, no woman who undergoes an abortion today would be denied an abortion if Roe was no more.

So now that we know Dr. Christine Blasey Ford is circus ring number one let's move on to circus ring number two where an innocent man, Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh is being railroaded by Democrats with an agenda...an agenda Dr. Ford set in motion via allegations of an unreported to police sexual assault that supposedly happened 36 years ago. Set in motion to take President Trump down, Brett Kavanaugh is strictly the collateral damage by which the Democrats hope to do so. But it's not because the Democrats dislike Kavanaugh per se but because if they can derail his nomination and paint an innocent man as guilty, the midterms might have a vastly different outcome then we Republicans and Conservatives hope for.

And elected Democrats in positions of power are now playing partisan politics thus showing what truly vile sorts they are for the man they are focusing their ire on...Judge Brett Kavanaugh...is not only a good and decent man but a fair and impartial judge who as a Supreme Court justice would serve our country well. Already having gone through six thorough F.B.I. investigations as he worked his way up the judicial ladder and already knowing that no such sexual allegations have ever been leveled against him, Democrats have still taking it upon themselves to try to ruin not only Judge Kavanaugh's career but his life and family as they rush to defend a pathetic lying political whore just to stack the High Court in their favor.

It truly does not get any lower than that.

So now we have arrived at the part of the three ring circus where Democrats are circling the wagons around Dr. Christine Blasey Ford...an unstable individual who has said she does not recall who owned the house where the supposed assault occurred, why they were even at the house let alone at or around what time the supposed assault occurred. And while Dr. Ford and the Democrats believe that if Brett Kavanaugh cannot totally disprove the almost 36-year old allegation...an allegation that can never either be proved or disproved...that he must not be appointed to the Supreme Court. And this means that in their eyes one is not innocent until proven guilty...the basis of our jurisprudence...but guilty until one can prove their innocence. Kangaroo court justice Democrat-style I would say.

But the fact is that if one is to believed that they were sexually assaulted way back in high school, one should not already be shown to be a liar nor should one think that they will be the one to decide how an official Senate hearing will be run. So after much whining and stonewalling, attorneys for Dr. Ford have now said that she would appear under oath at an open Senate hearing this Thursday morning at 10am despite unresolved "procedural and logistical issues," and despite the fact that she needed the extra time to drive from California to Washington D.C.

But know that said driving is a non-issue for it's being reported that Dr. Ford and her lawyers have been on the east coast for quite some time in an effort to get other of her her old high school friends to back up her accusation. Trying to do damage control after the four individuals that Dr. Ford herself said were the only ones present at the house during the alleged assault...Brett Kavanaugh, Mark Judge, classmate Patrick Smyth, and her longtime girlfriend Leland Ingham Keyser... whose lawyer responded to the committee in a written statement that stated, “Simply put, Ms. Keyser does not know Mr. Kavanaugh and she has no recollection of ever being at a party or gathering where he was present, with, or without, Dr. Ford.”...these folks have either denied any knowledge of such an attack or said it never happened...and they did so under penalty of felony in interviews with the Judiciary Committee.

So as Democrats continue to accuse Republicans of pressuring Dr. Ford to appear before the committee before she felt she was ready...no matter that she told no one of such an assault until decades later when in 2012 she claimed that her psychotherapist “helped her to understand the incident as a trauma with lasting impact on her life,” her words not mine but psychobabble nevertheless....the truth is that the Democrats did not want Dr. Ford appearing before they had successfully coached her in what answers to give to questions asked and when to give no answers at all.

And so the three ring circus has turned into a true unabashed circus of the absurd...a Democrat cunningly orchestrated smear campaign...for while Democrats are quick to hang Brett Kavanaugh out to dry for their political expediency and agenda alone, now as if on cue two new sexual misconduct/assault allegations are being leveled against Brett Kavanaugh just as Dr. Ford's are falling apart. And this includes one from Michael Avenatti, lawyer for Trump accusing porn star/slut Stormy Daniels, who claims to have "evidence" that Brett Kavanaugh and a high school friend targeted women for gang rape. And the second is via the New Yorker magazine who just this past Sunday reported that Brett Kavanaugh's former Yale classmate Deborah Ramirez alleges that he exposed himself to her at a dorm party but that she admits to being drunk when the supposed incident happened. And no one out of all those the New Yorker interviewed confirmed her allegation. More stalling tactics just to delay the nomination vote.

And yet the Democrats are quick to find an innocent man guilty based solely upon innuendo, while willingly ignoring the provable charges against one of their Democrat own...Rep. Keith Ellison...who savagely beat his girlfriend in what they call a mere domestic dispute. But then again this is the same party of hypocrites who gave Senator Ted Kennedy but a slap on the wrist for what amounted to the murder of Mary Jo Kopeckne some 40 years ago. Boys will be boys if they're Democrats...boys are sexual assaulters even if there's no proof who must be punished and politically banished if they are Republicans.

So I've got my popcorn ready for Thursday's said circus of the absurd...if it doesn't get cancelled that is and maybe that was the Democrat's plan after all. And to Judge Kavanaugh I say stay strong, the truth is on your side and hopefully that truth will expose Dr. Christine Blasey Ford for the liar that she is. And by the way, since Chuck Schumer has now officially requested that President Trump order an F.B.I. investigation into Dr. Ford's allegations, I say the only thing that needs to be investigating is both Dr. Christine Blasey Ford and her husband's bank accounts from both before and after the accusation was made...and now add in the bank accounts of Brett Kavanaugh's newest accusers as well...just saying.

What Really Matters in November

There’s only forty odd days and counting until we elect the next president of these United States…and what’s so newsworthy about this race is that we have two of the most…according to the media talking heads…vilified, untrustworthy, and unliked of candidates running. 

On the Democratic side we have Hillary Clinton, a woman forever to be rightfully known as the ‘Butcher of Benghazi;’ a woman who by all accounts is physically ill and not quite ‘all there’ if you know what I mean; a woman who, in my opinion, is a socialist, lying, islamic-condoning, murdering traitor if ever there was one. Bringing the art of lying to new levels and making the construction of the cover-up an art form in and of itself, this woman must not now or ever become president.

And on the Republican side we have Donald J. Trump seen by many as nothing but a flip-flopping Democrat now currently dressed in Republican clothing. A very successful businessman and not a politician per se...or so he says... Donald Trump is actually the consummate politician as he knows how to twist and play the media to do his bidding and most times they don’t even know they’re being played. And while Trump is indeed course around the edges…money cannot buy class after all…at least he is not the afore mentioned socialist, lying, islamic-condoning, murdering traitor, and that alone puts him heads and tails over Hillary as the one who must be our next president.

But there is something many do not understand or if they do they are so caught up in the drama of the ‘Donald Trump Presidential Reality Show’ that they refuse to grasp the fact that even if Trump wins the presidency, the fact remains that unless Congress stays ‘red’ he will not be able to get anything done…as in keep even some of his many campaign promises made. In other words, no wall will be built, the muslim infiltration will continue unabated, and jobs creation will most likely come to a screeching halt, just to name a few…and none of it will be Trump’s fault as the fault will be that of those who do not want to see the undeniable reality that a president…any president…is basically impotent without a Congress that matches the color of his party.

Keeping Congress ‘red’ is critical and the House…where the purse strings are controlled…is a pretty sure bet to stay ‘red’ even if some seats are lost. Right now the Republicans hold a 247 to 188 majority and they will most assuredly not lose control as the rule of law known as the gerrymander has seen to that. 

And what is a gerrymander…simply it’s the manipulation of boundaries (of an electoral constituency) to favor one party over the other. In other words, it’s the drawing of political boundaries to afford a given party a numeric advantage over an opposing party. And while many view this as unfair, the Constitution itself mandates that every congressional House and state legislative district be redrawn after the census so that elections won in so-called ‘zero years’ (2000, 2010, 2020, etc.)…as was the Republican sweep in 2010 that allowed them to redraw 193 districts as opposed to the Democrats 44 districts....are what hold sway throughout this decade something even a (heaven forbid) Hillary win cannot change…at least on the House end that is.

Now as for the Senate…in plain English…no race…not even the presidency is as important as the Senate race…   I cannot stress that enough. And the Democrats are ever so desperately trying to pick up some Senate seats come this November because they know they need control of the ‘upper chamber’ to neutralize Trump if he wins. Right now there are 34 seats up for grabs with 24 of those now held by Republican, meaning Democrats must gain 5 seats (or four if Hillary wins the presidency) to win back the majority which currently stands at 54 Republicans to 45 Democrats and one Independent. And three states… Florida, Pennsylvania, and Ohio…will tell the story if the Senate stays ‘red’...with Florida being a must win state what with the presidential race in Florida being as close as it now appears to be.

And Florida’s Marco Rubio…my senator…is but one Republican senator up for reelection who would help the Senate not only stay ‘red’ but his reelection would help assure that Republicans …that Conservatives…have the definitive voice in deciding who will be appointed to the Supreme Court for the fact is that the next president…whether it be Hillary or Trump…will appoint enough Supreme Court justices and other judges to determine whether the High Court and the lower courts lean to the ‘left’ or to the ‘right’…and the way the Supreme Court leans will have a direct effect on every one of ‘We the People’s’ lives.

This alone makes the Supreme Court the second most critical issue of this election cycle behind the Senate as it’s the Senate who will decide if the High Court stays to the ‘right’ or shifts to the ‘left.’

And with Justice Anton Scalia’s death still leaving one vacancy on the bench and with the possibility that two or three justices will soon be retiring, the Supreme Court make up via the Senate race truly ‘trumps’ Trump becoming president for a shift in the balance of power in the Senate will affect this country for decades…for generations…no matter if a Republican occupies the White House or not. And remember, too, that a Hillary presidency itself coupled with said Senate shift would allow for the first liberal court since the Warren Court of the 1960s, ending the current 4-to-4 make-up which was never intended to be an indefinite option anyway. 

I cannot stress the importance of the Senate race for in no uncertain terms it’s the Senate who approves or disapproves of the president’s possible Supreme Court appointee as per Article Two of the Constitution. Simply, Article Two has the president nominating Supreme Court justices and only with Senate confirmation are the justices appointed. This allows for the division of power between the president and Senate as per our Founders and Framers…"he shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint ... Judges of the Supreme Court..." Specifically, candidates for the High Court are nominated by the president who then must face a series of hearings in which both the nominee and other witnesses make statements and answer questions before the Senate Judiciary Committee, which can vote to either send or not send the nomination to the full Senate, with confirmation by the Senate being the only way that the president can formally appoint the nominee to the High Court.

Now let’s just imagine for a minute what would happen if we lost the Senate and if the High Court did now lean to the ‘left’ which would happen if the Senate goes ‘blue’…here’s but one recent example that could become reality. Remember back a short while ago when Obama wanted to nominate Merrick Garland to fill the seat of the late Antonin Scalia, but the Republicans rightfully said they would not even consider a replacement until after the election…well that led directly to a 4-to-4 ruling and a crushing defeat for Obama when the justices refused to revisit his stalled plan to protect millions of what the Democrats call undocumented immigrants…illegals being the proper term…from deportation and give them the right to work legally in this country. This vote left in place a lower court’s decision that Obama had indeed exceeded his powers by issuing the directive, but think of the nightmare that would have been if a fifth Democratic justice had been on the bench.

And let’s not forget that ObamaCare will most probably be revisited by the High Court as Republicans call for ‘repeal and replace’ (especially the individual mandate); possible Social Security changes are on the table and might need the court’s intervention as a funding gap continues to grow larger even while some projections show the Social Security Trust Fund and current revenues being able to sustain benefits until the mid-2030s; the Second Amendment is a serious topic of contention as Hillary and the Democrats will try to get it repealed and with a ‘left’ leaning court might very well succeed starting with what they call ‘loopholes in the law; climate change nonsense and other environmental issues like the destruction of our coal industry will be the order of the day…need I go on.

And all of this can be accomplished if the Senate becomes ‘blue’ followed by their confirmation of liberal justices only. And a Trump presidency itself would not stop it as a ‘left’ leaning Senate will turn down any conservative he might nominate.

In simple terms think of it this way…while we know that the president sets foreign policy, nominates justices to the Supreme Court and has the power of the veto, and that the House basically sets domestic policy and pulls the purse strings, it’s the Senate that has to approve the policies of the president and can overturn a presidential veto, as well as having to approve the decisions of the House, so it’s actually the Senate that determines which direction our nation will go as in to the ‘left’ or to the ‘right’ and that’s why the Senate race is critical…even more so than which party occupies the White House.

And its way passed time that voters understand this and let the presidential chips fall where they may and start concentrating on the Senate or they will be to blame for our country shifting to the ‘left.’ And I cannot say it any stronger or plainer than that.

No Considering, No Hearing, No Vote, No Nothing...Period

So Obama went and did what we knew he would do...as in the midst of a hotly contested election cycle he went and nominated someone...Chief Judge of the D.C. Circuit Court Merrick Garland...to be his choice to move the Supreme Court to the far left and assure his liberal legacy on the High Court for decades to come. Garland, a former U.S. Attorney and a federal judge since 1997, was appointed to the circuit court by President Bill Clinton... was once considered for a cabinet post and clerked for ubber liberal Justice William Brennan...and this is who Obama hopes will fill the vacancy left by conservative Justice Antonin Scalia's recent death.

And while Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and his fellow Republicans in the Senate have said in no uncertain terms will they even consider, hold hearings, or vote on Garland’s nomination until the next president takes office, they are on shaky ground for the fact is that the GOP hold on the Senate is tenuous at best, what with some Republican senators who are fighting to keep their seats saying that they are at least willing to meet and talk with Garland as a way to fend off the continuing Democratic attacks that they are being unfair. And that includes Senator Ron Johnson from Wisconsin who said, “I’ll meet with the guy, but trust me: We’re not going to let the Supreme Court flip,” adding that, "And this nominee obviously would flip the court, particularly on an issue that is pretty important in Wisconsin." And joining him in those sentiments are Louisiana Senator Bill Cassidy and Senator Mike Rounds of South Dakota...just to name a few.

And so to that affect, we now have Obama's people putting together what's known as 'The Constitutional Responsibility Project' for the sole purpose of advocating for Obama's nominee, and this group has said they will work with MoveOn.org...and we all know about them now don't we...who is planning 'MoveOn Days of Action' that being rallies in states with 'vulnerable' Republican senators to gain support for the nomination. And the Ohio teachers union will be doing what's being called 'Your Job Learn-ins' in an effort to convince Republican Senator Rob Portman to vote for Garland. And in Pennsylvania, unions for nurses and firefighters will hold rallies to try and force Senator Pat Toomey to meet with Garland and back a hearing.

But no matter the advocacy, the fact remains that it's the Senate who holds the trump card on appointees while it's Congress who decides how many justices make up the High Court at any given time by simply voting on it. This means the still for now Republican controlled Congress may either increase, decrease, or keep the number static as per the now number of nine...knowing that eight would split the ideologies of the Court straight down the political middle resulting in nothing being accomplished. But it is imperative that whatever they do they keep said number on the conservative side or it will take generations to undo what a liberal leaning Court can and most likely would do.

And it seems 'We the People' agree on the 'political complexion' of the Court as a recent survey found that a majority of people believed the High Court should be more conservative in its leanings than it being liberal in its leanings...as in wanting this Supreme Court to be a constructionist court where the justices interpret the law as laid down in the Constitution instead of it being a judicially active court who as expected would push a liberal agenda.

And in deciding a nominee to place on the bench it must never be forgotten that the job of the Supreme Court is to invalidate legislation, lower court rulings, or executive actions which, in the High Court's 'considered judgment' conflict with the Constitution. And here is where Obama's nominating Democratic party member Merrick Garland...who he calls a centrist and consensus-builder who in reality is anything but...crosses over into very dangerous grounds for with the Supreme Court being primarily an appellate court...which means that it decides whether lower courts made 'correct decisions' about the law during trials or earlier appeals...they can with the wrong majority cause serious harm or even invalidate our Second Amendment right to "keep and bear arms."

And with Obama still our president...a president who has nothing but contempt for the Second Amendment and for we law-abiding gun owners...our Constitutionally given right to “keep and bear arms” is indeed in serious jeopardy, what with Obama's constant cries and his lobbying for even more gun control than there already is. Now add to that the simple fact that with the wrong balance of political power the Court's decision and Antonin Scalia's majority opinion in the 'District of Columbia v. Heller'...considered by gun rights activists to be the most important Second Amendment case in history...can and most likely would be overturned. And that folks is why Obama is pushing so hard to nominate Merrick Garland...a liberal learning, gun-hating justice post haste. Remember, this decision was the one which forced the District of Columbia...ground zero for Obama...to permit it's 'law-abiding' citizens their right to "keep and bear arms” and was soon followed by 'McDonald v. Chicago,' where Scalia joined with Justice Alito's opinion stating that the individuals right to “keep and bear arms” is a fundamental right and applies to all Americans regardless of where they live.

But what must be noted here is that both decisions were 5-to-4 party line decisions, and while both these decisions allowed our Second Amendment rights to stand as our Founders and Framers intended...much to Obama's chagrin and consternation...know that these most important of rulings can be overturned with a majority shift on the bench as most people forget that the Supreme Court can legally overrule and reverse itself when and if a different case involving the same Constitutional issues as the earlier case...in this instance 'District of Columbia v. Heller'...is reviewed by the Court and seen in a new light because of changing social and political situations...which in turn would have a domino affect on 'McDonald v. Chicago.' And know that Obama has the cases he needs lined up and currently working their way through the lower courts, assuring their presentation to the High Court the minute the majority shifts to the left.

“This is not a good nomination and should not be confirmed,” said Alan Gottlieb of the 'Second Amendment Foundation.'

And Alan Gottlieb is right for Merrick Garland's stance on gun rights is indeed the most compelling reason...but there are others as well...as to why he must never be appointed to the Supreme Court for Garland is not now nor has he ever been an advocate of our Constitutionally given Second Amendment right “to keep and bear arms.” And one only has to look at his record of opposing gun rights as a federal judge...a record which includes his 2007 vote to undo the D.C. Circuit Court decision that struck down Washington D.C.’s strict handgun ban. Voting to undo 'Parker v. District of Columbia'...the predecessor to the 'District of Columbia v. Heller'...Garland was one of four dissenting judges who voted to reconsider the ban on handguns. The other six judges on the appeals court voted not to rehear the case, and the Supreme Court went on to rule in 'District of Columbia v. Heller' that the Second Amendment does indeed guarantee an individual’s right to "keep and bear arms."

And Garland has indicated he might consider revisiting these cases, and know that the four liberal justices currently sitting on the bench would give him the majority power to do so. So much for our Second Amendment rights and Obama knows well that this is exactly how the scenario will play out.
 
Remember too, that 'Parker v. District of Columbia' is not the only time Merrick Garland has ruled against gun rights. In 2000, in NRA vs. Reno, Garland ruled against the National Rifle Association (who said they would lobby against Garland’s appointment) in a lawsuit challenging the Department of Justice's handling of gun purchaser’s information. As per then AG Janet Reno's argument that it was both necessary and allowed under the Brady Act for information to be retained for six months in order to audit the background check system, Garland ruled in her favor saying that it was indeed permissible for the DOJ to keep said records from the National Instant Background Check System (NICS) for the time period stated. And he did so over the NRA’s (rightful) argument that this practice effectively created an illegal national registry...which it indeed would have.

"Judge Garland is the kind of nominee people get when you make deals in Washington, D.C.,” so says Ted Cruz, Republican presidential candidate...and how right he is.

And so the bottom line remains that Barack HUSSEIN Obama would never nominate anyone who was not a leftist as his hatred for the right clouds every call he makes. This makes it imperative that Republicans stand strong and united against anyone Obama nominates as those in the Republican hierarchy must be made to know that it's 'We the People'...that it's we voters...who should be the ones weighing in on that decision by electing a new Republican conservative president who in turn will be the one choosing a new conservative nominee. Remember, the wrong appointee could very well alter the direction of the court and our beloved country for a generation or more.
