My Take on Trump's Address to the Joint Session of Congress
By: Diane Sori / The Patriot Factor / Right Side Patriots / Right Side Patriots Radio

“America's momentum is back. Our spirit is back. Our pride is back. Confidence is back,” so said President Donald J. Trump at the beginning of his Tuesday night address before a joint session of Congress...a visibly and unmistakably divided Congress who actions on the “blue” side of the aisle mimicked those of a child in the throws of a total mental meltdown.

And while the Democrats theatrics was but a call for attention, what I saw that night was President Trump giving one of his best addresses ever...a true testament, if you will, to what is America's and Americans exceptionalism. And his words covered the important issues facing our nation today...from the border and immigration...to escalating crime rates in “blue” cities and states...to energy matters...to economics...to foreign policy...as well as to the long awaited demise of DEI and all the “woke” nonsense that overtook the political and social discourse during these past four years that Biden was in office.

Thanks to Trump's words and actions, simple “common sense” will again become the rule of the day replacing the nonsensical, anti-science, anti-medical, and anti-American indoctrination that is the hallmark of today's Democrat party.

Delivered in a direct, no nonsense manner, President Trump showed the world that he is the right man to be the “leader of the free world,” especially in these most contentious of times. A man whose true love of country and “We the People” shown through with his every word spoken...words which were countered by the Democrats courtesy of their total disdain for even the most basic of what is deemed to be American values...values which include honoring those lost and championing those who beat seemingly insurmountable odds.

Now I can understand Democrats not standing or applauding Trump's current successes...successes they fail to understand are not party exclusive but are successes for all Americans...but in these two cases I cannot abide the Democrats cold-heartedness or their disrespect shown. And the first case involves their refusing to stand or applaud to honor not just the families present but the murdered victims themselves...those murdered by illegals due to Biden's disastrous immigration policies. And the second case involves the 13-year old boy who not only beat cancer, but who wants to be a police officer now that he has a chance to grow up. To not applaud this child, his cancer battle won, or his dreams is depravity of the very worst kind.

Simply, it was President Trump who scored a grand slam home run on Tuesday night while the Democrats showed their true anti-American nasty selves. And in her party's official rebuttal it's Trump who gets the last laugh for in Elissa Slotkin stating the lie that, “In his heart, Trump doesn’t believe America is an exceptional nation,” she officially signaled her own broken party's death knell for many elections to come. Case closed.

...
And while both men traveled similar yet different paths to reach the same destination...remember both Reagan and Trump were originally Democrats...Reagan's path was then forged courtesy of his “Eleventh Commandment,” as in “do not to speak ill of your fellow Republicans”...simply, do try to put your “differences” aside in the name of “party unity”... while Trump, even with all his silly name calling of those Republicans who dared to oppose him, was still able to accomplish the same final goal as Reagan by his circling the Republican party faithful around him courtesy of the economic and foreign policy successes of his first term in office.

So while Trump did fail to garner a consecutive term in office...and we all know why... Reagan easily did. But as events continue to unfold, I've come to believe that the break in continuity has now worked in Trump's and “We the People's” favor. How so...first by allowing Trump the time needed to not only expose both the hypocrisy and the tactics used by the Democrat party's hierarchy to hold onto the reigns of power...and do so by any and every means possible legal or not...but it also helped to set the stage for showing how Ronald Reagan was the right man for his time, and that Donald J. Commonalities Shared, Differences Be Damned
By: Diane Sori / The Patriot Factor / Right Side Patriots / Right Side Patriots Radio
The Op-ed posted here is this authors opinion alone, and does not necessarily represent the views of blogspot.com or Google.

“For all their differences in temperament and style there’s a deeper continuity in the beliefs of our 40th and 45th presidents.”
- Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark) in a March 8. 2022 speech at the Reagan Presidential Library

The great Ronald Reagan, in my opinion, was the best president of the 20th century...Donald J. Trump might well be the best in this the 21st century, obviously only time itself will tell. And while both men are molded in the “populist” based tradition of “law and order,” the two men are quite different in temperament, personality, and governing style. However, both Reagan (our 40th and 41st president) and Trump {our 45th and now our 47th president) not only championed states rights, but both men had a deep distrust of “big government” bureaucracy.

And with both men embracing the concept of MAGA...as in “Make America Great Again,” know that the MAGA acronym was first coined by Ronald Reagan as “Let's Make America Great Again” (LMAGA) and used it in his 1980 successful campaign for the presidency, while Trump dropped the word “Let's” first in 2016, then in 2020, and now in 2024.

Two great men, two great presidents, one an orator bar none, the other speaking more in line with today's common vernacular. In fact, to me, Reagan's “Challenger” speech embodies presidential emotion and pride in American exceptionalism like no other, while with but six little words spoken, “Mr. Gorbechev tear down this wall,” he geo-politically realigned both Europe and the world. And while Donald Trump is not nearly as polished a speaker as Reagan...few ever will be nor does Trump have to be...Trump had his shining moment with but three little words spoken...spoken as blood dripped down his face...“fight, fight, fight”...three little words more powerful than any campaign speech to date.

To me, Donald J. Trump is the common man's Ronald Reagan orator wise if you will, but Trump did shine bright in a CPAC speech given seven years ago when he first spoke about the “forgotten men and women of America”...the very men and women who are the “backbone” of our great nation...as in America's working/middle class citizens...the very men and women that the Biden/Harris administration lost complete touch with, thus rightfully costing the Democrats the 2024 election.

And this identifying with America's seemingly forgotten middle class...even though Ronald Reagan was then and Donald Trump is now anything but middle class...both men let their core conservative values and belief in American exceptionalism take center stage in an attempt to unite together the different factions within the Republican party.

Trump is truly the right man for today's time.

And the similarities continue on with both men leading a nationwide turn to the right. For Reagan it was courtesy of the abject failed economic and foreign policy agenda of his predecessor, Jimmy Carter, which easily allowed him to turn Carter's negatives into his landslide election win. Remember, not only did the Carter years see the energy crisis of 1979...which was due to massive Middle East oil price hikes...directly lead to an increase in cost-of-living expenses, which culminated in the recession of 1980 all thanks to what was then double-digit inflation. Simply, Jimmy Carter's economic polices were a complete failure, and it took “Reganomics”...replete with major tax cuts...to help turn our economy around. And not to be forgotten is Carter's owning the foreign policy disaster that was the “Iranian Hostage Crisis”*...a crisis which Reagan used as rightful political ammunition to help him win his first presidential election.

Now here the similarities between the two men continues on for while the mid-to-late 1970”s were mired down in Carter's economic and foreign policy disasters...only to turned around courtesy of “Reaganomics”...we today are the victims of “Bidenonomics”...an economic plan that was doomed to fail for it did not understand nor take into account the wants and needs of average middle class American citizens. But thankfully, Donald Trump was the recipient of a “red tsunami” win based primarily upon the economic successes of his first administration. Energy independence, low inflation, sanity at the gas pump and in our supermarkets, proved we were indeed better off four years ago than we are today.

Simply, few were buying into what Jimmy Carter...the man politically deemed a “weak and ineffectual president”...was trying to sell then, leaving Reagan to be elected in a “red tsunami” of his own; just like now when few bought into what Kamala Harris was trying to sell, as proven by Trump's overwhelming win. A decidedly countrywide shift to the right for both Reagan and Trump primarily, but not completely due to their successful economic policies with their foreign policy stances being icing on the proverbial cake.

Reagan was aided in his win by the ongoing “Iranian Hostage Crisis,” a crisis Carter was ill-prepared for; and in his second term Reagan's well tempered oratory skills and his mastery of diplomacy led to not just the tearing down of the Berlin Wall but the collapse of the Soviet Union as well. And in his contest against Harris, Trump was aided in his win by Biden's disastrous pullout of Afghanistan; Biden's seemingly endless blank check to help Ukraine fight its war against Putin's Russia, and the Middle East War between Israel and Iran...remember, Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthi's are just proxy armies of Iran.

Simply, our country was weary of war during Reagan's time...we were just a few years out of the end of the nightmare that was the Vietnam War...coupled with the fact that the hostage crisis had gone on for way too long. And now during this, what will be Trump's second term in office, we find ourselves facing maniacs...especially the mullahs in Iran...who are hell bent on not just starting World War III, but reshaping and realigning the world's geopolitical map to where individual nations take second place to sought after globalization under the auspices of a “one world” dictatorial style government.

And yet even with this above stated fact, what these two men truly have in common is that both Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump fully embraced and more importantly did understand the concepts of not only “peace though strength,” but also the great need to prioritize both our military and to put America, our American interests, and America's safety first. That cannot be said of Jimmy Carter then nor of Joe Biden now, and most especially it cannot be said of Kamala Harris, as easily witnessed by her failed campaign agenda and its overtly weak and extremely lopsided political alliances.

And here it's also important to remember that both Reagan and Trump were and are of the belief that their predecessors were politically naive and that naivety in and of itself is dangerous by design...dangerous to not only hoped for diplomacy but dangerous to both the applications of the law and to our Constitution itself. Simply, what Reagan worked for then and what Trump is working for now is not just to make America herself great again via a rebirth and pride in American exceptionalism, but to solidify America’s standing on the world stage as both the number one superpower as well as being the true leader and broker of world peace.

So what then are the main differences between these two great men...these two great presidents? While their overall political and policy differences are not many, their differences personality wise are clearly more well defined and telling. Here are the four main differences that, to me, do stand out, but at the same do not diminish either man's greatness.

  • First, Ronald Reagan, as president, was way more tolerant of those within the Republican party who disagreed with him, and was more willing to listen to and at least entertain other points of view even from the Democrat side of the aisle; while to disagree with Trump on almost any topic sometimes left one open to a barrage of silly name-calling with a political dismissal of sorts.

  • Second, while Donald Trump is still viewed by many Democrats and even by some in the Republican party as being more “extreme” in his ideologies and communication style, Reagan is viewed by many as being a man more “establishment” in his overall demeanor, political presentation, and style wise.

  • Third, while Trump demands unwavering personal loyalty to Trump the man, Reagan was more insistent on loyalty to the Republican party then he ever was to himself.

  • And lastly, political vendetta's needing to be settled was never part of who Reagan was either as president or personally, but it is a part of Trump the man. But in Trump's defense I must say it's rightly so for no president has ever had to face a political witch hunt on the scale that this man has.

And so I end with these two quotes from each man's first inauguration speeches...quotes that while not as well known as others do clearly show how both Presidents Ronald Reagan and Donald J. Trump truly define what constitutes a deep love for this country, a pride in our people; and American exceptionalism at it's very best.

First President Reagan... “If we look to the answer as to why for so many years we achieved so much, prospered as no other people on earth, it was because here in this land we unleashed the energy and individual genius of man to a greater extent than has ever been done before. Freedom and the dignity of the individual have been more available and assured here than in any other place on earth. - 1981

Now President Trump...“It is time to remember that old wisdom our soldiers will never forget: that whether we are black or brown or white, we all bleed the same red blood of patriots, we all enjoy the same glorious freedoms, and we all salute the same great American Flag.” - 2017

And here may I say, “God Bless America...today, tomorrow, and always.” Case closed.

* Briefly, the “Iranian Hostage Crisis” began in October 1979, when a group of armed, militant, Iranian college students...who supported the “Iranian Revolution”...attacked the U.S. Embassy in Tehran after the overthrown of the Shah Mohamad Reza Pahlavi. The U.S. allied Shah had been granted asylum to came to the U.S. for cancer treatment during this time but the revolution's leaders wanted him back to stand trial. In total, 53 U.S. diplomats and citizens were held hostage from November 4, 1979 to their release on January 20, 1981...the day when Ronald Reagan was sworn in as our 40th president.

John F. Kennedy: A Democrat No More
By: Diane Sori / The Patriot Factor / Right Side Patriots on American Political Radio

“Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.”
- John F. Kennedy in his 1960 inaugural address

Don't you just love how political “what ifs” always seem to crop up when the federal government changes hands as happened on January 2nd when the Democrats took control of the House. But one “what if” that never seems to go away no matter which party controls what, is “what if” JFK were alive today...would he be a Republican or would he remain a Democrat.

Well, my answer to that question is that if former President John F. Kennedy (JFK) was alive today, I believe, he would have left the Democrat party and become a Republican. I even think Kennedy would be ashamed to have ever been associated with a party that has now become a bunch of far left liberals, progressives, misogynists, and miscreants who favor free-for-all socialism over democracy and hard work...a party who puts their selfish quest for votes and power over the good of the very country they took an oath to protect and whose laws they vowed to uphold.

Kennedy would sadly find that the Democrat party of today is unrecognizable from the middle-of-the-road Democrat party of his day. Middle-of-the-road indeed as his Democrat party would not have looked away on the issue of illegal immigration; would not have negotiated with, bowed down to nor sold us out to dangerous religious ideologs like the mullahs in Iran and surely would not have allowed terrorism to fester and grow overseas let alone gain a foothold here on American soil; nor would Kennedy's Democrat party have allowed grown men to have access to ladies public bathrooms or attack Christians for refusing to bake a wedding cake for an openly gay couple.

And in JFK's heyday there was no Democrat party talk of doing away with the Second Amendment for besides JFK himself being an NRA member, the Democrats of 50+ years ago did indeed honor the U.S. Constitution and the rights it afforded 'We the People' unlike the Democrats of today. And in Kennedy's day there truly existed a belief in American exceptionalism...which today's Democrats do not have nor want...and Kennedy took that belief and turned into both a vision and the reality of man walking upon the moon...a vision of exceptionalism he did not live to see reach fruition but a vision that without him might never have been.

So while Kennedy, if he had lived, might have accepted some, but not all, of the social issues that are the part and parcel core principals of today's truly misguided Democrat party...after all he did refer to himself as a liberal in a 1960 speech and was the very man who actually launched Medicare and initiated food stamps...however with him being a devout and practicing Roman Catholic, Kennedy would never have agreed with today's Democrats on the issue of abortion.

Nor would JFK agree with today's Democrats on foreign policy matters in general or on economics in specific for the man who championed a policy of lowering taxes said in 1962 that, “the Federal Government’s most useful role is not to rush into a program of excessive increases in public expenditures, but to expand the incentives and opportunities for private expenditures...” ...a Republican core principal...was the same man who boldly stood up to Nikita Khrushchev's Soviet Union, thus preventing the Cuban Missile Crisis from turning into World War III.

And JFK would never back down, cater to, or condone those out today to kill us all for this was a man who unlike Democrats today did not fear naming America's enemy...he did it with the Soviet Union and today he'd do it again with islam. And Kennedy would have dealt with islam's violent sorts like he did with Khrushchev, in the open and with more than just a mere threat of using conventional force...but with using nuclear force if need be...for the man who was a WWII hero would not have accepted let alone abide by the politically correct nonsense of acquiescing to enemy that most of those in today's Democrat party consider to be their new foreign policy norm.

Remember, JFK was not a party-driven president but a president who in the short time he served, did his best for the entire nation not just for those of his party. And while today's Democrats still like to think of themselves as the party of JFK, that thought belongs to their minds alone for JFK was never an obstructionist like today's Democrats are...he was a true champion of bipartisanship...a very dirty and politically incorrect word in today's Democrat-speak.

And to today's Democrats chagrin, Kennedy, who was decidedly against communism, was just as decidedly against big government, a Democrat mainstay, and he actually said, “I do not believe in a super state” and that, “I do not favor state compulsion when voluntary individual effort can do the job and do it well.” JFK was an advocate for low deficits; he believed in a strong dollar, free trade, tax cuts, free enterprise, free market capitalism, and individual responsibility; thus truly making him more inline with today's Republican party than with today's Democrat party who seem to also forget these words of Kennedy's, the “philosophy of the free market is not a partisan philosophy but is as old as freedom itself.”

And it was the Democrat party of JFK that died in that fateful motorcade through Dallas, Texas on Friday November 22, 1963 at 12:30 pm CT only to be reborn with LBJ...Lyndon Baines Johnson...the so-called champion of social justice and equality whose "Great Society" created more problems for this country than he or it ever solved. And from that very birth once honorable Democrats, for whatever reason, allowed their party to be hijacked and turned into a party of abject progressivism, misguided inclusion, and overt socialism that would most surely have JFK turning over in his grave.

And so the free-for-all, God-hating, muslim and illegal condoning Democrat party of Obama, Clinton, Pelosi, and Schumer does its best not only to dishonor JFK...one of their own supposed political icons...but to obstruct and derail any and all legislation today's Republican party proposes no matter if it be in the best interest of our nation...so very anti-Kennedy like if you ask me. So with that said, lets lay out the the core differences between what both parties want in order to understand how and why John F. Kennedy would have left the Democrat party.

First, the Democrats. It's way more than just a bit obvious that today's Democrat party wants government in total control of our lives from cradle to grave with 'Big Brother' (as in big government) watching over us all to be the new societal norm. Democrats want socialism over capitalism with free markets be damned while of course wanting the rich be punished with higher taxes to pay for the gimme-gimme sorts freebies and handouts in exchange for their votes. Democrats will continue to ignore not only the killing of the unborn but also the selling of their body parts to the highest bidder.

And Democrats of course want minority inclusion to always trump Americanism. Obviously they want Medicare for all at our taxpayer expense while wanting minimum wage increases to turn entry level jobs into a career. And at the same time they strive to forever keep us dependent on Arab oil, the Democrat hierarchy will desperately continue on in their quest to see that the Second Amendment and all our firearms go bye-bye. So as the Democrats embrace globalism over American exceptionalism, they are working hard to have our military become but a mere side note while opening wide our borders to all. And ever so unsettling and for reasons not truly understood the party that “booed God” wants God to be permanently banned from all public venues.

Now Republicans (of which I am one) want lower taxes for all with wages to be set by the free market. And we Republicans want personal responsibility for ones actions to override the lefts attempt at collective guilt, while so wanting the government out of our personal lives. We Republicans want increased military spending with our troops fighting to win (war is not a participation trophy event) while at the same time we want Roe v. Wade to be somewhat amended.

Republicans demand capitalism over socialism (which fails every time when government runs out of other people's money), and we see health insurance as something best left to an individual's private discretion. Assimilation and Americanism over blanket inclusion is a Republican must as is no more welfare, handouts, or amnesty given to those who enter our country illegally. The wall must be built post-haste with the closing of our southern border until then if need be, and “America First” is the way it always should be. The U.S. must strive to become totally energy independent, and we Republicans so want the Trump witch hunt to end. And we can't wait for the day when Obama and Hillary are brought up on charges (there are so many to chose from starting with Benghazi); and Republicans want God the Father of us all to be welcomed any and everywhere and surely not mocked.

We Republicans don't really ask for much now do we as all are truly common sense wants...but to Democrats it most certainly seems like too much even though what Republicans currently want is more inline with what JFK wanted some 50+ years ago than it is with what Obama, Hillary, the left side of the aisle, or any Democrat considering running in 2020 wants today.

And remember, anyone who pushed as hard for a large across-the-board tax cut as Kennedy did; anyone who diligently worked to free up markets at home while at the same time pushing for tariff reduction and an increase in foreign trade (JFK held the belief that it would be American consumers who would be benefiting from competitive prices); and anyone who was as cautious about the size of the budget as Kennedy was...truly understood then what President Trump understands now...that only permanent tax cuts provide a true economic stimulus while not increasing the national debt in the long run...the very concept lost on the Democrats of today.

John F. Kennedy truly grasped the concept of fiscal conservatism and would never align himself with today's tax and spend Democrats. In fact, again in a 1960 speech Kennedy stated that, “I see no magic to tax dollars which are sent to Washington and then returned,” which is the epitome of what's referred to as the voodoo economics of Keynesianism...the economic policy where spending output is strongly influenced by aggregate demand.

So while JFK was a Democrat, at heart I believe he was then and would be today a Republican...a fiscally conservative Republican...who if he had not been fatally shot in Dallas was scheduled to say later that day in a speech in Fort Worth that, “by maintaining a more stable level of prices than almost any of our overseas competitors, and by cutting personal and corporate income taxes by some $11 billion, as I have proposed, [we will] assure this Nation of the longest and strongest expansion in our peacetime economic history.”

If that's not Republican-speak than I don't know what is.

Op-ed:
Sticks and stones do break bones but Obama and crews words will come back to bite them
By: Diane Sori

Ahhh…the cacophony of vile words spewing from the mouths of the left over these past few weeks would be quite funny if it wasn’t so sad a commentary on how low the Democrats will sink to defame and dishonor their Republican colleagues who sit just across the aisle.

According to Barack HUSSEIN Obama, ‘Prince Harry Reid’, Wicked Witch of La-Lafornia Nancy Pelosi, Al Bore…I mean Gore…and a host of Democratic Senators and speech writers, we Republicans and TEA Party members are extortionists, hostage-takers, terrorists, saboteurs, anarchists, squealing political pigs, arsonists, and murderers.

Such nice words emanating from the mouths of the party of political correctness aren’t they…and all because we Republicans and Tea Party members rightly oppose the nightmare that is ObamaCare, and because we know the truth about the debt ceiling shenanigans with its Obama scare tactics of crying wolf over a possible default on our notes due…which by now you should all know is pure nonsense for ONLY the interest on the notes is due and we have 5 times the monies on hand needed to meet those obligations.

“The only phrase that describes it (what the Republicans are doing) is political terrorism,” so says former VP Al Gore…the expert (in his own mind) on global warming and inventor of the internet…or so he claims…LOL

As if anyone takes him seriously anymore…that is if they ever did.

And then there’s this one alluding to the TEA Party from none other than ‘Prince’ Harry Reid, “…the anarchists have taken over. They’ve taken over the House, now they’re here in the Senate.”

Guess what…we so-called TEA Party anarchists…which by the way we are anything but…are here to stay as our numbers continue to grow by leaps and bounds every day. After all, someone has to keep the Republicans in line now don’t they.

And from Obama himself…the man who has NOT allowed a budget to be passed by the Senate in five years because he has NOT gotten his way loves to bloviate that, “They (the Republicans) refuse to pass a budget unless I let them sabotage ObamaCare, something they know is not going to happen.”

Notice how Obama calls what is actually ‘The Affordable Care Act’ ObamaCare… narcissist that he is just loves hearing his name. We call it ObamaCare for a totally different reason, wink, wink.

But I digress…NO…we need NOT sabotage his precious ObamaCare…we don’t have to do a thing really as it’s dying on its own without any help…as in the website people need to log onto in order to sign up…a website costing we taxpayers $634 million to construct…is a complete and total operational disaster…as in it simply does NOT work.

Just like the man whose name it bears.

Oh and by the way, remember how Obama claimed that millions would be flocking to sign up for his oh so wonderful (anything but) affordable health care…well in ObamaCare’s first week of sign-ups ObamaCare’s main sign-up engine…glitches aside…attracted just 6,200 new customers on day one and just 51,000 after the first week…only 51,000 thousand people signed on out of the millions Obama thought would be beating down the doors…that says a lot now doesn’t it. And with The Congressional Budget Office saying ObamaCare needs at minimum of 7 million customers to stay afloat financially these numbers ring morbidly of a bill that will die on its own.

But back to the words we go…leading this list of so NOT nice what should be kumbaya Democratic words, is the word’ extortion’…a word Obama let freely slip from his traitorous lips and insinuated over and over countless times during the last few weeks.

Extortion: the crime (and YES what Obama is doing is a crime…a crime against America) of obtaining money or some other thing of value by the abuse of one’s office or authority.

‘By the abuse of one’s office or authority’…NO better words can be said to describe Obama’s unbending and unyielding refused to give ground…to negotiate…to compromise…in his and Prince Harry’s own doing of a fiscal confrontation with Republicans…a confrontation over Obama’s demanding that the debt ceiling be raised.

Obama’s threatening that he would ONLY negotiate on budget issues if Republicans agree to re-open the federal government and raise the debt limit with no conditions BEFORE he comes to the table is out an out extortion…as in do what I want and you still will get NOTHING.

Obama really must think Republicans are fools NOT to know that once they give in to his demands BEFORE negotiations are done it will be too late for them to do anything AFTER they’re done.

Obama might think that talk is cheap…Republicans know it is anything but… especially when extortion is the currency used.

And from the Wicked Witch of La-Lafornia…the botox queen herself…none other than Nancy Pelosi…came the words, “I call them ‘legislative arsonists.’ They’re there to burn down what we should be building up in terms of investments and education and scientific research, and all that it is that makes our country great and competitive.”

These words from the woman who does NOT believe in American exceptionalism …this woman dares to even mention the words ‘scientific research’ while she supports the very bill that will NOT only have 15 fat-cat DC bureaucrats deciding NOT only who gets what medical treatment and when...if they even get it at all…and will also decide what scientific/medical research will be allowed or deemed unnecessary…this woman has the unmitigated gall to call Republicans and Tea Party members arsonists…I think she needs to take a long hard look in the mirror and see who really wants to burn down what ‘We the People’ have built up…that is if her face does NOT crack and shatter the mirror while doing so.

And so the Democrats continued on and on with their vileness while the Republicans at least offered a compromise bill…which of course was turned down…proving that out of all the words the Democrats used against Republicans and the TEA Party these past few weeks, the one word I used best describes what’s going on in DC at the moment…extortion thy name is Barack HUSSEIN Obama.

Obama built it…Obama owns it…and hopefully it will be Obama and his minions downfall.

Op-ed:
An open letter to Vladimir Putin
By: Diane Sori

Dear President Putin,
Recently, you wrote an editorial that ran in The New York Times…basically a letter addressed to ‘We the People’ explaining your stance in regards to Syria, and why you did what you did in brokering the deal requiring Syria to turn over their chemical weapons to international control…which we all know means U(seless) N(ations) control.

And so far it seems your deal is holding as your Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and our Secretary of State John ‘Swiftboat’ Kerry worked out the fine points, and Bashar al-Assad has agreed in turn to follow through on his pledge to surrender his weapons…yet he gets to keep his bio-weapons…and that in and of itself shows just how calculating you, Mr. Putin, and al-Assad both are. Calculating and clever like foxes for you both have made Barack HUSSEIN Obama appear even more impotent and incompetent as a leader than ‘We the People’ already knew he was for he missed the obvious while keeping his eyes focused on exactly where you wanted his focus to be…on chemical weapons alone.

And after rereading your editorial a few times, I found it really quite well-written with its facts for the most part true and concise in its allegations, however, where I diverge from your words is where you talk about 'American exceptionalism'…where you speak of your distaste for the very idea that there is 'American exceptionalism' yet NEVER speaking a word of how you promote 'Russian nationalism' every chance you get. Yet even with this Mr. Putin, you rightfully see that a strong stand against the use of chemical weapons is part of what makes any country 'exceptional', while at the same time seeing that Barack HUSSEIN Obama is NOT the one to implement that 'exceptional' stand in regards to ‘red lines’ drawn in the sand over a year ago.

And no one can blame you for then acted accordingly.
“My working and personal relationship with President Obama is marked by growing trust. I appreciate this. I carefully studied his address to the nation on Tuesday. And I would rather disagree with a case he made on American exceptionalism, stating that the United States’ policy is “what makes America different. It’s what makes us exceptional.” It is extremely dangerous to encourage people to see themselves as exceptional, whatever the motivation.”
And so Obama addressed our nation and as usual he read from a teleprompted script written by speechwriters. And while he mouthed words in regards to ‘American exceptionalism’…he was correct when he stated that US policy is “what makes America different. It’s what makes us exceptional”…he was wrong in how he implied those words.

‘American exceptionalism’ means different things to different people but the late political sociologist Seymour Martin Lipset, summed up ‘American exceptionalism' pretty well in just five words, “liberty, egalitarianism, individualism, populism, and laissez faire”…five words led off with the most important word of all…’liberty’.

Mr. Putin, to ‘We the People’ liberty means freedom from the control of an arbitrary or despotic government…it means freedom from external or foreign rule. Liberty to us means independence from control, interference, obligation, and restrictions along with the right to do, think, and speak according to our own choice.

And YES Mr. Putin, ‘American exceptionalism’ is guided by liberty…by freedom…and by the right to do as we each see fit, yet in his address to the nation Obama turned the words ‘American exceptionalism’ into another bit of his endless campaign rhetoric…rhetoric still spoken even though the election is long over.

So Mr. Putin, Obama bloviates for himself while NOT reflecting the wishes of the American people.

But right now my bone to pick is with you Mr. Putin for you do NOT understand what 'American exceptionalism’ truly means. The words ‘American exceptonalism’ are NOT meant to imply simple superiority per se, but you must realize...you must know in your heart...that America is indeed superior...superior because of our founding…born of revolution…growing through trial and error…and arriving at the point in time where we are indeed ‘the shining beckon on the hill’ carved out and sustained by the greatest document of freedom ever written…the United States Constitution…the law of our land that sets us apart from other nations. Our Constitution makes America the greatest nation the world has ever known…the country to which many risk their lives to come to for they know America is the land were dreams become hopes and hopes turn into reality with NOTHING needed except hard work and determination.

YES, Mr. Putin, America is exceptional for this country is a melting pot…maybe NOT a pot that is always stirred smooth but a melting pot nevertheless, where different nationalities can meld their own uniqueness into the whole…into the whole that is America…and that is the very definition of 'exceptionalism'.

Can you say that about Russia…I think NOT.

And isn’t it odd that the very words…the very ideal…that so irked you were actually spoken back in 1929 by your hero Joseph Stalin, who used the words in response to a group of American communists who claimed that US style capitalism might constitute an exception to Marxist thought.

On hearing this Stalin decreeing an end to the “heresy of American Exceptionalism”…Stalin’s own words while condemning 'America exceptionalism' still fearing it.

And so Mr. Putin, while I admire your tenacity and fortitude in standing strong against our miserable excuse of a president…a president who leads from behind if he leads at all…checkmating him in the dangerous game of disarmament diplomacy…I will continue to take umbrage with your belief that America is NOT 'exceptional' for NO other country in the world today values liberty, equality, and justice above all else. What makes us ‘exceptional' is that America gives hope to people encompassed within a world overrun with oppression, destitution, and fear…gives hope to people longing for freedom that only the United States of America can offer them.

And that Mr. Putin, is what constitutes ‘American exceptionalism’…and that is something ‘We the People’ will NOT allow your words to take away from us for America is ‘One nation under God with liberty and justice for all’…and we intend for her to stay that way.
