Trump v. Cruz at AIPAC

"Believe me"..."Believe me"..."Believe me"...said over and over again. Guess what...I believe not one word Donald J. Trump said at this years AIPAC (the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, America's largest pro-Israel group) for while Trump talks the talk...sort of...he showed just how little he knows about foreign policy in regards to Israel, and the audience responded in kind with the most subdued of all the responses given to any of the presidential candidates in attendance.

Entering the hall like a despot surrounded by bodyguards, Trump read off a teleprompter like so many politicians before him... something he said he's never do or be...while simultaneously releasing his prepared remarks on his campaign website while he was speaking. And Trump, to the chagrin of many in attendance, actually used part of his time to promote his narcissistic self and his books, and to try to do damage control in relation to his recent statement said both at the last debate and on CNN that he hoped to be neutral in the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

But how can one do damage control when making such outlandish statements as first Trump saying that he had studied the Iran deal to an extent “greater by far than anybody else,” sending both the audience and myself into fits of laughter for with that one line Donald Trump showed just how little he knows about the true danger Israel faces today. And second, “We know Israel is willing to deal...” flip-flopping from what he said again at the last debate and in an Associated Press December interview when he alluded that Israel was unwilling to make the sacrifices necessary for Middle East peace...in other words Trump wanted Israel to give up even more of its tiny sliver of land to those wishing to wipe her off the map.

“My number one priority is to dismantle the disastrous deal with Iran,” Trump said, but how can that be his number one priority when he has spewed out time and again that building a wall along our southern border is numero uno with him. And really folks, to dismantle is not to eliminate the “disasterous deal” for remember Trump's interview a few months ago on 'Meet the Press' when he said, “it would be very hard for the next president to undo the deal.” What Trump seems to be pushing for with his carefully chosen word “dismantle” is just a renegotiation of the current deal, so, I call these words Trump said to AIPAC indeed pandering for the Jewish vote and nothing else.

And I also call his words, "I know deal-making and let me tell you, this deal is catastrophic for America, for Israel, and for the whole of the Middle East," adding that "The problem here is fundamental. We have rewarded the world's leading state sponsor of terror with $150 billion and we received absolutely nothing in return," the words of someone who is not as astute on deal-making as he thinks he is for the most important thing Trump is missing here is that we...the United States... should not and must not under any conditions be doing any deals whatsoever with the world's leading sponsor of terrorism...good deals, bad deals, or indifferent deals...no deals period.

"Let me be sort of a neutral guy...I have friends of mine that are tremendous business people, that are really great negotiators, [and] they say it's not doable," were Donald Trump's words regarding the Israeli/Palestinian conflict said during an MSNBC town hall just this past February. And remember, too, that last year the Republican Jewish Committee (RJC) actually booed Trump when he would not commit to recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. But now at AIPAC, Trump flip-flops on both accounts as he wants us to believe that he sides with Israel by his simply calling for the moving of the American Embassy from Tel-Aviv to Jerusalem never mentioning the waiver in the 'Jerusalem Embassy Act' that would actually allow him as president to avoid doing so.

But the truth is that Trump's now saying that our embassy would be moved in a Trump administration just masks the fact that first, Donald Trump truly does want to stay neutral in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict to protect his current business dealings in the area and second, that his heart is truly not in moving our embassy to Jerusalem as both Israel and the Palestinians claim Jerusalem as their capital, and moving said embassy would neutralize his stance of neutrality making him an enemy of those who business deals he will try to court in the near future.

Trump the empire builder will always 'trump' Trump the policy maker in the end.

And so the man whose sole Israeli foreign policy experience consists of 'lending' former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani his plane so he could fly to Israel, his having in his own words “taken a risk” by serving as the Grand Marshal of the '40th Salute to Israel Parade' way back in 2004, and his having a few Jewish grandchildren...that man did not address two issues important to Israel...those being efforts here in America to silence campus support of Israel, and the 'Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions Movement' growing within our country. And this man now wants us to believe that he supports Israel one hundred percent in her fight against Iran and other enemies just because he says “believe me.”

NO...I don't think so for at a news conference right before his AIPAC reality show appearance, Donald Trump had the audacity to raise the possibility of first, eliminating American aid to Israel by saying, “There are many countries that can pay [to aid Israel], and they can pay big-league”...and second, by suggesting that Israel repay the U.S. for the foreign aid it has received to date. Shades of isolationist Rand Paul I would say...shades of a man who while he might be 'friendly' towards Israel is a friend Israel needs to keep a watchful eye on.

So while Donald Trump tried to suck the air out of the conference room just with his mere presence, the other two Republican candidates spoke to AIPAC as well. And while John Kasich offered a sound but predictable vision for American/Israeli relations, it was Ted Cruz who brought the house down. And Cruz rightfully pointed out that Trump’s constant use of the word 'Palestine' showed his true lack of knowledge on the history of modern day Israel when he said, “To the surprise of the previous speaker, Palestine has not existed since 1948.” By his saying those words Ted Cruz acknowledged as fact the main touch point in the ongoing Israeli/Palestinian conflict, while Donald Trump's teleprompted words gave the land of Israel an identity that goes against everything Israel stands for...and goes against everything the Holy Bible dictates.

Ted Cruz understands the problems Israel faces today and he had actual policies in place that would help defund any college or university that supports the 'Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions Movement, against Israel; he was able to turn Hilary's 2014 well-publicized statement that Israeli rockets hit civilians in Gaza occasionally because it is a densely populated area against her by saying that, “the reason the missiles are in schools is not because Gaza is small. The reason the missiles are in schools is because Hamas are terrorist monsters using children as human shields;” and he nailed Donald Trump when saying, “My leading Republican opponent promised he, as president, would be neutral between Israel and the Palestinians,” adding that “Let me be very, very clear: As president, I will not be neutral. America will stand unapologetically with the nation of Israel”...an unwavering stance Ted Cruz has taken since even before announcing his run for the presidency.

And Ted Cruz also called Trump to task for promising that he’s going to negotiate and get a better deal with Iran by (rightfully) saying that, “Well, my view is very different...I will rip up the deal, reimpose sanctions and tell Iran to shut down (not just pause) its nuclear program or we will shut it down for you.” Tough but heartfelt talk from a man who has a deep love for Israel and a man who wants to see the Jewish State survive intact and whole.

And Ted Cruz brought the audience to its feet when he explained his personal love for Israel. Starting with, “Now some have asked, Why on earth did a Cuban American Texan become one of the leading defenders of Israel in the United States Congress?,” Cruz explained that “Israel is a liberal democracy that shares our values, Israel is a steadfast and loyal ally, and our military aid to Israel is not charity, it is rather furthering the vital national security interest of the United States of America.”

Explaining further his father's story of leaving Cuba and coming to America in 1957, by saying his father told him that, “When I faced oppression in Cuba, I had a place to flee to, If we lose our freedom here, where do we go?,” Cruz finished by saying, “And there’s only one other nation on earth like the United States of America that’s created as an oasis, as a beacon of hope, to people who have faced oppression, who have faced the horrible murder and persecution, and that nation is Israel.”

And herein lies the differences between Ted Cruz and Donald Trump not only in their speeches given at AIPAC but in their true feelings when it comes to the Jewish State of Israel. And highlighting those differences is the fact that Donald Trump sees Israel as merely sound bytes for votes, sound bytes he's learned about through perusing magazines and newspapers while listening to the talking heads on TV...while Ted Cruz immerses himself in the intricacies and nuances of foreign policy as it relates to Israel and truly sees Israel as America's closest ally and friend. “Am Yisrael Chai”...the nation of Israel lives...Ted Cruz said...simple words that proved not only to those attending AIPAC but to Jews everywhere that he is the best candidate to not only cover Israel's back but to rebuild the fences between the two nations that Barack HUSSEIN Obama has torn down.

The knife is plunged into Israel's back...again

Well…Barack HUSSEIN Obama is ‘aiding and abetting’ the enemy yet again as this time he’s giving another $148 million of our taxpayer dollars to what he calls ‘Palestine’…which is quite odd as there is NO country called ‘Palestine’. Obama really needs some geography lessons, but what can you expect from the man who thinks there are 57 states in the Union.

But hey, there are 57 islamic states in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation…the so-called ‘collective voice of the muslim world’…so I guess that was easy for him to confuse with US states, and was what he meant when he said he visited all 57 states (said sarcastically with eyes rolling upward).

Clarifying his words by saying that the money will actually go to support the Palestinian Authority’s government of Mahmoud Abbas (translation: just another band of terrorists) so they can address the ‘supposed’ critical economic and humanitarian hardships facing the Palestinian Authority and the so-called (but non-existent) Palestinian people is quite ambiguous at best for it seems all the monies we give them usually end up going into securing guns, weapons, and rockets to use against Israel. But Obama still bloviates that ‘US national security interests’ are the reason for his new decision to send them even more monies, and with that as his excuse Obama gave Secretary of State John ‘Swiftboat’ Kerry authorization to issue a waiver on the restriction of funds Congress put in place after the Palestinian Authority submitted its unilateral bid for United Nations membership last September.

But, I’d really like to know what ‘national security issues’ the Palestinian Authority poses to the United States of America and I bet you would too.

And then Obama added to this slap in the face to Israel…for that is what aiding the Palestinian Authority is…by further stating that this was done to avert ‘a budget crisis’ and to promote the peace process, because according to 'Obama-logic' sending so-called aid is supporting US efforts to achieve a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. But in reality what Obama is actually doing is once again funding a terrorist organization…the muslim version of what I call ‘sponges’ because they have always counted on foreign aid to subsist…and the cowards in Congress are letting him get away with it .

Oh, and by the way, how about if Obama cared about our own budget crisis for a change and stopped worrying about a budget crisis of terrorists…but I digress…

And in case you didn’t know, since 1994, the US has given the Palestinian Authority $1.3 billion in aid, and this is NOT the first time that Obama ordered a waiver of congressional restrictions for his muslim brethren for just this past March Obama gave $500 million to them by bypassing the very same Congressional restrictions.

And even with all this monetary aid coming into the Palestinian Authority’s hands supposedly to work for peace and the betterment of its people they’re still at war with Israel…still trying to lay claim to Jerusalem…and still aligning themselves with other terrorist groups like Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood…Obama’s blood brethren and I guess that spells out the truth as to why he keeps sending them aid…shades of Egypt for sure.

And with an Obama spokesman saying that, “Direct budget support to the Palestinian Authority is the most immediate and efficient means of helping the Palestinian Authority maintain and build the foundations of a viable, peaceful Palestinian state” what is NOT being said is that the Palestinian Authority does NOT want peace with Israel…they want Israel, period.

So to that end this past Friday, Palestinian Prime Minister Rami el-Hamdallah signed a financial support agreement for an “$148 million aid transfer from the US administration to Palestine” and he signed it with US Consul General Michael Ratni…and signed it somewhere in the non-existent country of Palestine.

And once again Israel feels the knife digging deeper into her back put there by the same man who sides with the enemy in Egypt…the same man who has the blood of Benghazi on his hands…and the same man who wishes that Israel would become the 58th islamic state. And we all know who that man is…Barack HUSSEIN Obama…for sometimes a middle name does indeed say it all.

Aiding and abetting the enemy and now wanting to do so on our own shores

True to form, Barack HUSSEIN Obama has proven once again that he’s violated his oath of office by siding with and aiding and abetting the (islamic) enemy.

First, this man has single-handily decided that the US will waive the ‘conditional human rights’ clause attached to Egypt receiving a promised $1.3 billion in additional US military aid for this year…that’s $1.3 billion derived from our taxpayer dollars on top of the more than $2 billion that Egypt already receives from us every year, and has for quite some time.

Saying he’s giving Egypt the additional aid based on ‘national security grounds’ what Obama is actually saying is human rights be damned as he now will outwardly aid NOT only those out to kill us, but also will aid those out to kill any in the Egyptian pro-democracy movement, as well as any Coptic Christians still remaining in Egypt.

And he will be doing so with our taxpayer dollars.

In a letter to Congress…NO…in lies to Congress…Obama claimed the aid must be given because of the Egyptian military’s long partnership in the Mideast peace process, that it helps protect Egypt’s borders and the Suez Canal, and aids Israeli security against terrorists in Gaza and in the Sinai Peninsula.

If this wasn’t such a bunch of crap it would almost be laughable as we know that Egypt’s military is NOT in control of the country…Obama’s brethren The Muslim Brotherhood are…and we all know that the situation with terrorists in Gaza has only gotten worse NOT better forcing Israel to up its military presence along the Gaza border. At least under Mubarak there was a treaty of sorts NOT to attack Israel, and now that The Muslim Brotherhood is in control there is always a shadow threat looming to do away with that 1979 Egypt-Israel peace treaty.

Also remember, The Muslim Brotherhood’s ideology is diametrically opposed to our American values, beliefs, morals, and democratic ideals, as The Muslim Brotherhood controlled government now ruling Egypt continues to violate basic freedoms, assaults their own people, disallows a free press, and suppress any and all opposition…but hey, let’s let Obama give Egypt even more of our taxpayer dollars to do so.

And if this Egyptian situation doesn’t get you fuming mad, on top of this Obama has another surprise for ‘We the People’ and our taxpayer dollars for Barack HUSSEIN Obama has now decided that the US will take in Syrian refugees running away from their country’s civil war…with the only thing standing in the way of this immediately happening is the formality of the (Useless) N(ations) High Commissioner for Refugees formally asking us to do so, and that request is expected to come this week.

And so more of Obama’s muslim brethren will be coming to our country…Syrians who NEVER had any love for America or Americans…more muslims will be welcomed into America by our America-hating president who claims letting them in will take pressure off Middle Eastern countries currently 'struggling' to support more than 1.6 million Syrian refugees (numbers expected to reach over 3.5 million by year’s end).

You know what…who gives a damn about the ‘supposed’ struggling Middle Eastern countries…the swimming in oil money rich Arab Middle Eastern countries…these are ‘their people’…’their brethren’… let them take them in…house them…feed them…cloth them…educate them…take care of their medical needs…for the last thing our country needs is more people on our welfare rolls…more people raping our medical system…and more people whose loyalties lie NOT with America but with the qur’an and the jihadists.

By the way, we gave Jordan (at least they’re somewhat an ally) $200 million in additional US aid on top of what we already give them..aid to help care for the 500,000 Syrians taking refuge in their country. But we should NOT give one cent to any Arab country who hates us...NOT one cent to take care of ‘their Arab brethren’ running from their country’s civil war. I always believed that freedom fighters and patriots stayed and fought for their county NOT ran away like cowards because the fighting got tough. Just goes to show you that the Syrian people could care less who’s in control of their lives or their destiny…as long as they don’t have to fight for who takes care of or rules over them.

And now to add even more to this Syrian problem we have Susan ‘It’s All about the Video’ Rice, Obama’s new National Security Advisor, saying we need to take in these refugees…these muslims…as a ‘humanitarian gesture’ and will advocate for us to do so...to do so even though she knows very well that many of them have ties to al-Qaeda, and will NOT assimilate into our way of life but will add to the already growing multitude of muslims trying to change our beloved America into an islamic calipahate complete with sharia as the law of the land.

So the bottom line concerning the Syrian refugees is that they’re running from an internal conflict involving the inner workings of their own country, and NO matter which side ends up in control
things will be the same for the Syrian people…enemy people
who like their government are NOT and NEVER will be our friends. And we need NOT be taking in refugees who need to go home and fight for their country, just as we should NOT be sending hard-earned American taxpayer dollars to an Egyptian government controlled by The Muslim Brotherhood.

We must take care of America and Americans first and those that hate us can simply fend for themselves for us sending them money or taking them in does NOT turn them into or friends for in a heartbeat they will kill us without blinking an eye.

Stabbing Israel and 'We the People' in the back in one fell swoop

My, my...ain't this just peachy...Barack HUSSEIN Obama, our ever loving muslim-in-chief, under the radar unblocked monies and transferred funds so he could now give the Palestinian Authority $500 million in aid, and is asking Congress to give them $200 million more this fiscal year even though Congress froze all aid to them last year.

He's just gotta help the brethren you know...

And this aid comes just as Obama finished up his 'I stand with Israel' photo-op jaunt proving what we knew all along...this man could care less about our ally Israel as he stands with his muslim brethren every chance he gets.

What a slap in the face to Israel as State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said, “To date, we have moved $295.7 million in fiscal year 2012 money… and $200 million in fiscal year 2013 assistance...for aid to the Palestinians.”

I'd loved to have been a fly on BiBi's office wall when he found out about this.

Remember, this is the same group of people Obama wants Israelis to have empathy for...the very ones who elected the terrorist group Hamas as their government...the very ones that call for Israel's destruction...this is who Obama sends our taxpayer money to.

“Hey 'bama...I NEVER gave you my permission to use my portion of that taxpayer money to fund these barbarians and the terrorists who are running the Palestinian territories ...I want my portion of that money back!”

And to make this even worse is that while we face major sequestration cuts to our defense budget, while furlough notices are set to go out to civilian military personnel, while millions of Americans are hurting because there's NO jobs to speak of, while we still have NO budget, and while simple things like the White House tours have to be canceled...drum roll please...there’s 'suddenly' millions of dollars 'found' to send to the Palestinians, who are NOTHING but common thugs in garbagebag head wraps.

But wait...light bulb moment here...if all this money is 'suddenly' available to aid Israel's enemies that means the dreaded sequestration is NOTHING but a political scare tactic and lie, and is as phony as Barack HUSSEIN Obama's birth certificate is.

Come on guys...we knew this all along...Obama knew we knew this...and Obama just sat back having a good laugh at 'We the Peoples' expense as he and his minions continue on their path of tearing down the American economy while aiding his brethren with our rightful monies. After all, as per Obama mindspeak, the Palestinians need your money more than you do. Poor babies (gagging) have to rely on international welfare handouts, because they generate little if any wealth on their own...and why... because their sole goal in life is to rid the region of Jews and Israel is why.

Now here's how some of your 'suddenly' found monies will be spent and where it'll be going...and it ain't pretty...

Fact: Obama is seeking $200 million more to fund the US Agency for International Development (USAID) programs for the Palestinians
.
Fact: Secretary of State John 'Swiftboat' Kerry also promised an additional $200 million to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt on top of the F-16 fighter jets and Abrams tanks we've already given them.

Fact: $200 million to Jordan, a country facing their own possible upcoming Arab Spring as the Muslim Brotherhood plans to try and replace King Abdullah...a westernized moderate leader and still, at least for now, an ally of America.

And Obama has the nerve to claim that by being economically viable because of this aid money (lets NEVER forget that it's on our taxpayer dime), the Palestinian Authority will be able to help secure regional peace as some of that money will be used for economic development, some for humanitarian assistance, and some for law enforcement aid.

Or so Obama says but I can't help but gag on that one as we know damn well that those monies will NOT be spent on the people but on arming militants and jihadists. After all, they pay the families of the jihadists restitution every time one of theirs happily blows themselves up taking as many Israelis as they can with them.

Bottom line...with this 'stealing' of our taxpayer monies to help fund the enemy (aiding and abetting...hmmmmm), Barack HUSSEIN Obama just sent Israel a powerful 'screw you' message, and sent 'We the People' our own extra special message of...are you ready...that he can lie, cheat, steal, and do whatever he wants with out taxpayer monies and there's NOT a damn thing we can do about it...especially with a gutless Congress that is.

And with that Barack HUSSEIN Obama is off on yet another 'campaign bus trip' to spread his lies across America...ain't life grand in Obamanation...
