Shut her down…and shut Obama and Reid up for added measure

Deadlocked…and yet the Senate was too preoccupied to come back on Sunday and do their job of working on behalf of the American people…a job they were elected to do.

Waiting until 2 pm this afternoon to return to session…a mere 10 hours before a possible government shutdown begins…Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid had the audacity to tell ‘We the People’ that the Democratic majority Senate will reject the new House compromise bill even BEFORE any Senators see or read it.

Talk about partisan rhetoric, liberal whining, and foot stomping when he does NOT get his way…now add in a dose of Nancy Pelosi’s ‘you have to pass it before you can read it’ rantings and Harry Reid’s true motives become obvious…the same anti-American motives as Barack HUSSEIN Obama has.

“The American people will not be extorted by Tea Party anarchists” whined Reid as the reason why the Senate will NOT approve the House bill…a bill that keeps the government up and running after the October 1st date when we 'supposedly' run out of money, while at the same time delaying the dreaded ObamaCare for one year.

'Extorted by Tea Party anarchists'...NO..I don't think so for the Tea Party is comprised of true American patriots…something Reid knows NOTHING about. And what Reid does NOT understand or simply refuses to understand is that the reason the House will NEVER approve any Senate bill as long as the monstrosity known as ObamaCare remains in its current form is that 57+% of the American people do NOT want it at all…meaning the House is voting according to the will of the people…something the Senate and Harry Reid refuse to do.

And so thankfully, the House Republicans did NOT back down and in a rare Saturday night session they stood strong and united against the Senate bill, voting 231-192 in favor of a one year delay of ObamaCare, and by a margin of 248-174 they voted to repeal the medical device tax, with 17 Democrats voting along with the Republicans on this section. And this was nice to see after 23 Republican Senators went RINO on us during the previous round of Senate voting.

And when the night was over ALL 229 Republicans…along with two Democrats (Rep.McIntyre-NC and Rep. Matheson-UT)...passed a second continuing resolution…a short-term stop-gap measure really…but one that would avoid an early Tuesday morning government shutdown.

But now showing what a narrow-minded uncompromising individual he really is…just like his buddy Obama…Harry Reid has rejected the new House bill outright BEFORE it even reaches the Senate floor…rejecting a bill that is a good meld and compromise between what the Republicans want and what the Democrats want as it funds the government through December 15th yet delays…NOT defunds…the implementation of ObamaCare for one year.

And delaying ObamaCare for one year is especially important in light of the fact that Obama himself delayed it for one year for BIG business (in fact Obama has signed seven bills to change provisions in the original ObamaCare)…so in all fairness it should be delayed one year across the board for the American people as well. But ‘Prince’ Harry obviously does NOT understand the rules of fair play nor is he even willing to address compromise.

“After weeks of futile political games from Republicans, we are still at square one,” Reid whined after the House vote was announced, but in reality ALL delays have come from the Democratic side. And to make this forthcoming NO vote in the Senate even more grievous is that in addition to the delaying of ObamaCare by one year, in a separate but attached bill the Republican proposal included wording to the affect that in the event of a government shutdown that our military must still get paid…and Harry Reid being the true liberal that he is says that will be rejected by the Senate also.

So while it’s nice to know that Reid knows the Senate vote even BEFORE they do, his total rejection of continuing paychecks for our military…agreed to in a unanimous House vote…shows his true character and dislike for those who defend our country…again just like Barack HUSSEIN Obama does

And we all know that these marching orders NOT to even consider let alone compromise on the new House bill come directly from Barack HUSSEIN Obama himself…from the very man who has NO trouble talking to and compromising with our enemies…but then again in his eyes ‘We the People’ are the enemies…the enemies of his socialist agenda and the enemy of his blood brethren.

And so this afternoon when the Senate rejects the House short-term stop-gap bill, we know the in-the-pocket-for-Obama media will blame the Republicans for the sure to follow first government shutdown in nearly 20 years, even while the House immediately moves to construct and pass another bill that would challenge ObamaCare.

 
So let the shutdown begin…in fact it’s most welcomed for in reality it will take a government shutdown…NOT just the threat of a shutdown…to get Barack HUSSEIN Obama and Harry Reid down from their media appointed pedestals and force them to the negotiating table where they will have to take the Republicans seriously while the Republicans work to clean-up Obama and Reid’s economic mess.

And what’s truly sad is that in today’s America real policy discussion and negotiation can only happen when both sides are forced to the table because both sides have much to lose.

A train wreck of a law upheld by 23 RINOS

Thank you Senator Ted Cruz for helping we true Conservative Republicans in our efforts to weed out the RINOS in both the House and Senate.

Yesterday, after last week’s 21-hour ‘non-filibuster’ filibuster by Texas Senator Ted Cruz…with a little help from his friends Senators Mike Lee, Marco Rubio, and Rand Paul…the Senate reached a vote on the Republicans efforts to avoid a shutdown of the government and to defund the dreaded monstrosity known as ObamaCare.

Sadly, our side lost as 23 RINOS sided with the Democrats, and in a vote of 79 to 19 invoked cloture and formally ended debate on H.J. Res 59 (Continuing Appropriations Resolution, 2014), and helped put into place the funding mechanism to destroy America’s health care system, America’s jobs market, and according to leading economists...one-sixth of the American economy.

Requiring 60 votes for passage, even a straight party line vote would have Republicans still losing in the Democratic controlled Senate, but at least it would have shown a united front. Instead only 19 true Conservative Republican Senators stood strong… Mike Crapo (Idaho), Ted Cruz (Tex.), Mike Enzi (Wyo.), Deb Fischer (Neb.), Charles Grassley (Iowa), Dean Heller (Nev.), James Inhofe (Okla.), Mike Lee (Utah), Jerry Moran (Kan.), Rand Paul (Ky.), Rob Portman (Ohio), James Risch (Idaho), Pat Roberts (Kan.), Marco Rubio (Fla.), Tim Scott (S.C.), Jeff Sessions (Ala.), Richard Shelby (Ala.), Pat Toomey (Pa.), and David Vitter (La.).

And we thank them for that.

As Senator Marco Rubio said after the vote, “Today, we had an important opportunity to stand with America’s working class and defund ObamaCare before it continues to hurt people even more. That did not happen. I will continue to fight to stop ObamaCare in its entirety and replace it with an alternative that truly gives Americans more affordable high-quality health care options without hurting their jobs, incomes and current health plans they are happy with."

And hopefully, he will get all our support in that.

So back to the House the bill now goes and there will be a fight…a BIG fight…as Republican lawmakers in the House must pass a bill…any bill…and send it back to the Senate.  However, they have said time and time again that ObamaCare is a disaster for the middle class, and that they will NOT pass any bill that funds it…and remember that funding comes from the House. So by vowing to reject the restoration of funding, the Republicans may instead decide to send the bill back to the Senate again with more changes. But with a government shutdown hanging in the balance House leaders have NOT yet decided exactly how they will proceed.

But as our hero Senator Ted Cruz said, when the bill returns to the Senate, “I hope that all 46 Republicans are united against ObamaCare and standing with the American people.”

Unfortunately for 'We the People' with the now exposed for all to see RINOS in the Senate...led by the likes of John McCain and Lindsey Graham...that will probably NOT happen.

And at the heart of yesterday’s vote...of yesterday's betrayal...is the procedure known as ‘cloture’… the only procedure by which the Senate can vote to place a time limit on consideration of a bill, thereby overcoming a filibuster and forcing a vote.  However, that only works in the Senate NOT for the House and some in the House have already hinted about a filibuster when the bill comes back to them.

But with that comes Barack HUSSEIN Obama's threat that if the House does NOT pass the Senate bill as is that the government will shut down early next week. In a televised statement from the White House after the Senate vote, Obama accused the Republicans of “political grandstanding” and said the GOP-controlled House now has the fate of a potential government shutdown in its hands.

Oh how that man loves to blame everybody but where the true blame belongs…with himself.

Bloviating that he will NOT negotiate with Republicans (but he will negotiate with Iranian terrorists) over the debt ceiling increase because he’s heard that a few Republicans have alluded that they might now tie the defunding of ObamaCare to the debt ceiling debate, Obama acts once again like a spoiled child stamping his feet as he whined, “My message to Congress is this: do not shut down the government, do not shut down the economy, pay our bills on time.”

Do NOT do this…do NOT do that…Obama does NOT understand that NO one takes his threats seriously…NOT after his ‘red lines’ fiasco, and Vladimir Putin proving himself to be more of a leader than he is.

And NO matter his bloviations Obama does NOT get that we could pay our bills on time if he had bothered to learn Economics 101…do NOT spend more than you take in…if he understood that the government being shut down is NO biggie as it’s been shut down many times before…if he accepted as fact that our economy would be so much better if he had even an inkling of how to run the ‘business’ of government…if he would admit that he has NO idea how to create jobs and put Americans (legal Americans) back to work…and if he and those who orbit around him would accept the fact that one being a ‘community organizer’ does NOT make for a successful president.

So in lieu of yesterday's vote the bottom line is this…more than half (57%) of the country wants nothing to do with ObamaCare and do NOT want it forced down their throats…more than half the country says NO to raising the debt ceiling...more than half the country knows that by Congress exempting itself from ObamaCare that in and of itself is an admission of how bad it is, and that 'We the People' will be the ones footing the bill for their private health care with our taxpayer dollars and they could care less.

And the 23 RINOS who voted ‘YES’ on cloture are now exposed for all to see for they knew full well that a vote to invoke cloture was indeed a vote for ObamaCare, and they knew full well that a 'YES' vote would allow ObamaCare to grow and thrive at the expense of the middle class who are hurting enough under this miserable excuse of a president and his equally miserable administration... and they voted for cloture  anyway.

So again many thanks to America's new shining star, Senator Ted Cruz, for standing strong against 'Prince' Harry Reid who wished he would have just shut-up and gone away, and to the 19 Republican Senators who were strong of conviction and courageous enough to join him and vote the will of their constituents…to vote on behalf of ‘We the People’…to vote 'NO' on a bill that is NOTHING but a nightmare come to life...and let the 23 RINOS who did NOT know that they will hear our voices loud and clear come their re-election day…a day that can’t come soon enough for me.

Immigration Bill passes the Senate...and Rubio's presidential hopes come to an end

“Shouldn’t we give them the same chance that we’ve given wave after wave of immigrants?” said Senator John McCain after today’s Senate vote on Immigration Reform.

In a word, 'NO'...and NOT because of who they are but because of how they came here...ILLEGALLY. And the word 'ILLEGAL' itself means 'criminal'...as in breaking the law.

But apparently to some that doesn't matter as yesterday, in a vote of 68 to 32 (with 14 Republicans joining ALL the Democrats) the Senate passed the 'Gang of 8's' Immigration Reform Bill. While it will have ILLEGALS dancing in the streets, unfortunately, and it hurts me so to say this, it has signaled Marco Rubio's presidential death knell...the man who most likely would have gotten the Republican nomination in 2016 is now finished.

While I still honor and respect Rubio for the simple reason that his heart was in the right place, he went against the wishes of the party majority and his own constituents by aligning himself with RINOS extraordinaire...John McCain and Lindsey Graham. And the party hierarchy and 'We the People' will NOT forget this.

Rubio could have voted NO in the end for the bill passed in the Senate is NOT the bill he originally wrote. His original was bastardized by his new found RINO buddies, and yet he sided with them and for what, as the ILLEGALS will NOT vote Republican even with this...they will still vote Democratic for the freebies and handouts. Rubio had an out with this simple fact if none other, and yet he did NOT take it, and to make this worse he knows damn well that before any talks go forward or legislation implemented our borders MUST be sealed...NO ifs, ands, or buts.

In his heart Rubio knows that very well and in his heart he knows he's done...and for what...for criminals who knowingly and willingly broke our laws to get here...for criminals who have taken jobs away from LEGAL Americans...for criminals who have raped our healthcare and welfare systems...for criminals who with this bill will in the end be rewarded for their criminal act instead of being punished for it.

And while I wholeheartedly believe that the Republicans need to control the immigration issue...as in better we control it than the Democrats control it...controlling it means sealing and locking down the borders BEFORE anything else is done...as in a bit of isolationism before we move forward with this issue at all.

Locking down and sealing the borders...if Israel can successfully do it so can we.

But I am smart enough to know that this issue does need to be addressed for we will NOT be rounding up 11+ million people and shipping them back to their home countries...although many wish we would...but that is a reality that simply will NOT happen.

And so one by one the Senators voted from their desks, called out 'yea ' or 'nay' as Vice President Joe 'Bite Me' Biden presided in his constitutional capacity as head of the Senate. But, thankfully, the bill still faces an uphill battle in the House where in this Senate form, it's likely to fail...as it should. 

And while Republicans in the House are divided over then immigration issue, especially after the GOP's major loss among Hispanics in the 2012 election, many top Republicans have come to realize that some form of a so-called 'pathway to citizenship' for the 11+ million ILLEGALS...'undocumented residents' in political correctness speak...is a must. But still the votes in the House aren't there for this Senate bill because for most Republicans sealing the borders first is paramount to any bill being passed in the House at all, and the Senate bill does NOT meet that requirement as it skirts the issue, if even that.

Besides, the House is working on its own immigration reform bill. In fact, House Speaker John Boehner said the House will NOT even vote on this Senate bill. Speaking at a press conference yesterday, Boehner said a bi-partisan coalition to get to 235 votes is not enough...that an immigration bill has to have the support of the majority of the GOP House members.

“Apparently, some haven’t gotten the message. The House is not going to take up and vote on whatever the Senate passes. We’re going to do our own bill through regular order, and it’ll be legislation that reflects the will of our majority and the will of the American people. And for any legislation, including a conference report, to pass the House, it’s going to have to be a bill that has the support of the majority of our members.”

Now lets see if Boehner has the courage to follow through with the pretty words he spoke.

But what say our traitor-in chief to the Senate bill's passing...in a White House statement, Obama hailed the Senate vote as "a critical step" toward fixing what he called a broken immigration system, saying the bill was a compromise, adding that "we just need Congress to finish the job."

'Finish the job' to Barack HUSSEIN Obama means making sure those 11+ million become loyal Democratic voters...'finish' the job means the American melting pot of assimilation will be NO more as America will become a nation of 'them' vs 'us'...'finish the job' means if by some chance this horror of a bill passes the House our beloved America will sadly become unrecognizable to us LEGAL Americans thanks to the leftist agenda of the man the media 'anointed' as our savior...as this bill adds another nail in America's coffin.

But for me the biggest disappointment in today's vote...the one that personally hurts the most is that Marco Rubio, who I worked so hard for when he ran for Senator, has NOT only let me down but let down his party, his constituents, and his country...oh what could have been...
